Albasha Subs

Called in an order on 3/22/25 around 5pm, they took my order and told me what time to pick it up. I showed up at the time, 2 gentleman helped me out. These 2 were awesome, very polite and made it great to be there. Well if that isn't enough, I pay and get home with the food!!!!! So I open the bag, and they have everything wrapped up so amazing I didn't even want to open them. I ordered quite a bit, it was on time and amazing. The chicken shawarma i ordered was out of this world, the whole family loved what they got. Thank you, and i hope these 2 are here when I order again.

Never ever had a bad experience or sub from this place. I've lived in dearborn/dearborn heights my whole life and have been at albasha hundreds of times. Subs here are literal perfection. I get chicken/turkey/steak subs at least once a week and my family loves them even my picky 6 yr old will inhale a turkey or chicken sub from albasha any day of the week.

3 fries sandwiches just 41.56. The price on the menu differs from the register. 2 sandwiches were ordered through the phone the charge was 28.11 which is mean 14.05 per sandwich, I’ve added another one when I arrived the price was 11.10. It’s obviously clear stealing, It’s a fries dude it’s not a steak it’s not a sea food it’s fries. Will never come back. It’s not recommended restaurant they a lot of other options in the area

First of all, let me say I’m very picky when it comes to good shawarma and fries. And very few restaurants in Michigan can get it right. So I got the chicken shawarma sub. This place had very good tasting shawarma, the chicken was good and flavorful and juicy. None of that dry shawarma here. I was very much surprised that the shawarma is good, and I started seeing negative reviews and I didn’t understand it at all, it makes no sense why they’re leaving negative reviews when wallah it was one of the best chicken shawarma subs I had ever. Not to mention, I ordered with fries and the employees were very kind and gave me much more than I asked for and were very nice. Overall 5/5 stars don’t believe the trash hate commenters, this place is nice, good food, respectable employees.

Great chicken shawarma sandwiches and some of the best subs. They're always fresh, fast & friendly. I've never had a bad experience there. I really appreciate the kindness of all the workers.

Moe made my basic request for a grilled chicken sub into one of the happiest parties to ever occur to my taste buds. Sauce 10/10 chicken : PERFECTION sub bread… toasted just like your mother would for u at home! MUST TRY THEIR FOOD ESPECIALLY THEIR SUBS!

Absolutely amazing. Came in, we were greeted with smiles and great hospitality!! My husband and I couldn’t believe the amount of food we got and how filling and YUMMY it is. Our 4 year old daughter absolutely loved the food as well. We live in down river and came out for our son’s football game. Found this place on google. We will make the drive just so we can eat this amazing food. Already made an fb post.

The place is filthy!! they don’t wipe and clean the chairs nor the tables after customers get done eating, look at the amount grease on the chairs. plus the restroom is dirty and water all over the floor. It takes you a couple of minutes to clean after people, take some pride in your restaurant! Plus they got a printed paper advising that prices have changed next to their original menu, like dude get a new menu so people could how much your subs and sandwiches cost, but it’s a way to over charge people!! The food was decent and that’s all i am gonna say!

Another restaurant that fell off. Add them to the list. Whole sub that looked just like a half sub. Not that bad just cheap. I would say to go elsewhere if you are getting charged 12-15 for a sub. Three stars is being nice

Amazing subs considering this is the only place open late at night. They were fast and got the order correctly. Food was fresh.

I love the Chicken Subs, and the Greek Salad. Greek Salad is FIRE. Some of the best i have ever had. We stopped at AIBasha for some subways. They are big, thick and juicy with the chicken ones. Greek salad has lots of flavors with good vegetables and seasonings. Nice staff and cool people . We will come back for more.

I so wanted to like them!! They were one of the places open. I got tbt vegetarian and wasn't impressed. The quality of the. veggies wasn't tbt best. They were bumping them out after 12am so they have to be doing something right

1:30 AM on a Friday night /Saturday morning. The two restaurants I had taste for were closed. So I searched yelp quickly to give me what was in route and open. Al Basha Subs came up as staying open to 3:30 am and within a mile, WINNER! This place reminds me of Mango's on Warren or Original Subs on Ford rd going west. Upon walking in several of the tables were occupied with groups of young men enjoying their meals. Food looked delicious. I approached the counter and who I assume to be the manager greeted me. I asked what was the most ordered subs he gave me several. I decided on the Chipotle Chicken Sub and I must say I am very pleased with his suggestion. Asked for a small fry but do to a mishap was given a large of the the curly fries. Checked in with yelp and used the free pop coupon. Within 10 minutes I had my mea For 9.00$ I am truly satisfied. Will certainly be back.

Good place for subs and other food . Service could be better they forget stuff often .

I love them!! They also make my stuff right/hot if it is messed up which is very rare they'll fix it. plus I really love how late they're open.

i don't typically leave reviews, but this place was extremely good. I got the albasha sub and some fries, they were SO TASTY. Absolutely amazing and it was really fresh, why are all the less known restaurants and smaller ones the best??!

This place is a joke! I called regarding an order i was placing on door dash and was placed on hold for over 7 minutes. The whole time I could hear the employees talking to each other, NOT to customers. When someone finally picked up, he said hello and then could you hold (AGAIN!). I said no I could not hold, that I just want to cancel an order. He hung up on me. Will never get any business from me!

This place recently opened back up after being shutdown. Al Basha's is so funny. They have a huge assortment of items on the menu, giving you a variety of subs, sandwiches, and burgers to chose from. I will typically grab 2 shawarmas, either chicken or steak, and a smoothie. I've heard good things about their fries from my friends on campus as well. I am so curious about the alfredo sub. I hope someone uploads a review on it because it sounds so interesting, but I never feel like straying from my order when I'm here.

I had a bad experience with this location!! never ordering from them again. Website has a big gap between whats written and what they charged and when I called them to double check they the website hasn't been updated. I live 2.2 miles away from the location and they cherged me $11 delivery fee.

One of the worst places we have been to during our stay at Michigan. Extremely weird staff! It is the responsibility of the owner to let customers know if its a cash-only transaction before placing the order verbally or put a sign. When placing the order they did not mention their credit card machine is not working. I offered to pay before and they said pay after we give you the sub. Right, when they are handing the sub they said "No credit cards and asked to go next door to bank and get cash". I ended up paying $5 transaction fee to get $7 sub. If I knew before I would not have ordered food there. We were there for 25 min and saw 3-4 different customers had a fight with the cashier who seemed like one owner's son for the same reason and he was extremely rude, ridiculed the customers when they are talking to him, and insulted a couple of them. One customer was yelling at them for the wrong order. I saw 3 other customers walking out because it was so noisy and everyone was fighting. Wish we had entered a little late so we would walk out too. We ordered 3 different subs and they all tasted the same. My order was messed up too. I ordered mango habanero sub but was given Fajita sub. It tasted really bad and was basically bread with lettuce and chicken with a tiny bit of sauce. Extremely dry and flavorless. We actually ended up throwing all 3 subs in the garbage and had to go get food from another place We really wanted to fight for the order but there was a lot going on in-store so we decide just to leave since it was our last few hours of the trip and didn't want to spoil it. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place.

I ordered Door Dash tonight, and thought I would try this sub place out for a change. I was orginally going to just order some McDonald's or Wendy's, but I figured this will be better than fast food. Estimated time was 90 minutes, fine, however that was not the case, no big deal maybe they were running behind. However, when I received the food, I did not get what I paid for. I ordered a burger with an egg, and added bacon...both of which were missing. The food was cold, I paid for side sauces that weren't in the boxes. I requested curly fries and they gave me regular ones instead, even though the curly fries were more. I understand sometimes things happen, but I spent over $40 and didn't get half the things I paid for. I would not reccomend personally, and I definitely won't be returning.

This USED to be the spot for late night food, we used to visit often a few years back. We moved to Canton so it's a little bit of a drive to get back to Dearborn heights but Ive had a very long day at work and wanted some good comfort food. I placed an online order, did not get what I ordered. My 2 subs didn't even come with what THEY listed on as what comes on it. Thanks for letting me get my hopes up and now my dinners going in the trash. How can chicken be dry as hell AND undercooked?

Love this place. Looks a bit sketchy on the inside but the food is always on point. Highly recommend

Today we ordered subs, fries, sauces and fried mushrooms. They didn't include the fried mushrooms, instead replaced them with cheese sticks, didn't include the sauces and the subs were terrible. They said they tried to call to refund the mushrooms but that didn't happen. I was told this place was good but it was so disappointing. Besides not getting any of the order right the food was cold, the subs tasted like chopped tuna not chicken and most of the items were missing. It was all teenagers working there and instead of training your staff to work professionally they just did whatever they wanted and would not refund anything, even the missing items. We drove 25 minutes to get there, what a gross waste of time and money. I never complain about restaurants but it was beyond unacceptable.

I don't usually write reviews because regardless of what you tell people, they go by what they think anyway and because I'm really lazy. But when I do, it's for a pretty good damn reason. So here I go.... Al Basha Subs usually would have some items that you don't want to miss or go anywhere else to have. I've had mostly everything on their menu. That's a fact. However, since Covid-19, I feel as if the cooks have been making the subs the way THEY enjoy it.. EXTRA MAYO and extra soggy. It's EFFEN disgusting. Let's not forget how expensive it has gotten. The subs 12' is priced as $7.99 on their websites and they charge $12.72 in store. You're saying that if I order online, I can save $4 a sub?? That's ridiculously outrageous for a sub that's EXTREMELY HEAVY but not in the way you may think. I opened the sub and it looked like itcy bits of chicken in it. With a WHOLE LOTA veggies and Mayo in it. This was 2 nights ago. A chicken Fajita 12 inch sub. I'm in the restaurant business and owned subways throughout my career in the food industry. I appreciated the reviews people left. So that I can fix the situation. I think many people in Dearborn and Dearborn Heights may agree that the AL BASHA OWNER/s need to go and see for themselves. Maybe do some secret shopping there. I feel like that $12.72 subs was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on a sandwich. With all due respect, all because 80% of the customers ask for extra MAYO In their subs/sandwiches, does not mean that everyone else likes it. I even took a picture of what was in the sub. I ate the bread. I had to remake the entire sub at home just so it was eatable. I go to a restaurant so that I would not have to cook at home but in AL BASHA's case, I swear on my 2 eyes, that the last 4-5 times I've eaten there, I had to remake it or do something with it so that it is eatable. I hope I did not disturb the pride & egos of your staff and ownership. But you should take this as FEEDBACK. Not insulting. -Ali Osman

I've been a fan of Al Basha well over ten years, coming from their Dearborn location to the Heights all the food is consistent. If you're not from around the area, there's a culture associated and style of an Arab owned sub sandwich. I would put these guys at the top of those choices, can't go wrong with the Spicy chicken bacon ranch sub. Don't forget the curly fries, they almost go hand in hand with the sub. The best part of this place is they stay open late and available on door dash.

Crooks is the word to describe this place. Do not follow online prices or they menu they have there. Apparently prices have changed and they don't bother telling the customers when they're right in front of you, looking at the menu and placing the order. Why not just update the menu? Tell customers prices have increased? And the other kicker is they charge you extra for paying with a credit card. It won't show up on your receipt but it will on your credit card. The food was disgusting and not worth the rip off. Atleast have your food taste good if you're going to over charge a customer without them knowing! Have I not gone back in and confronted them for over charging, they weren't going to be honest. They had a small ripped up sign that's next to the tv that you cannot see nor read saying prices have gone up. That is so shady because you know a customer cannot see that sign. Now I know why this place is dead with bad reviews. God don't like cheaters and eventually this place will shut down for your cheating ways.

Comfort food to me. My go to is the Albasha sub with extra garlic and fries inside. A bit pricey at $13. It's not good if you save it so it's something you gotta eat right away. Quick service when I call in the order. Not a clean cut sandwich look but it hits the spot.

Okay so look if you guys asking people for writing you a good review, that's fine, but seriously you guys are the worst restaurant I've been to!! Yes, I'm not gonna let this slide this time and Imm follow up with Michigan Health Department! I ordered food form you guys and into the salad was a half bee!! As shown in the pic! Any explanation on that? No need for an apology, but I need to understand why?

Terrible service and no responses from the management! We have been going to Al basha for quite some time, but service has been becoming terrible. Few days ago, my brother in law ordered chicken Alfredo sub and chicken fajita for pick. He went home saw it was turkey alferdo sub, (which he hates). He called them and told them what happened. The person over the phone yelled at him and told him bring back the Sub( that's the only way he will believe). He took the sub back tot he store and the staff member started laughing said: what can I do. Luckily, they refunded for the sub, but were very rude. What if he had food allergies? do

the service was amazing the employee treated me with respect and was very funny. made my day. and the food was delicious I had the crispy chicken sub and it was unbelievable. definitely coming back.

Reasonably priced, worked really well when a friend and I were out late at night. After much debate I chose to get the falafel pita sandwich since I had a falafel craving but it seemed cheaper to get a wrap than to get just the falafel itself

I'll never eat anything from this place ever again!!! Horrible service! Filthy! Messed up my order, rest of my food got cold. Called to talk to the owner and he didn't give 2 shits about my order. He actually thanked me after I told him He lost me as a customer. Real classy! Zero stars IMO

Really good subs but I do recommend to call to order and then pick it up because the customer service is horrible.

not only is the food amazing I mostly love the service the workers are very kind and respectful to you I accidentally dropped my food on the ground and the man kindly replaced it without extra pay I recommend this place

My default Halal place was Ananas for subs until I tried Al Basha(Dearborn Heights). Their specialty subs are really good! I had to be specific about the location because the one on Warren is horrible. Ananas wins the battle because of their blended fruit cocktail .

Beware this establishment scams kids. I find out my nephew was charged $50 for two turkey subs to be delivered. They proceeded to tell him they did not have change only when they arrived. Upon checking prices on their website I find that the charge was even higher than what is noted. I called and asked to speak to the manager so we may get back our money, Ali answered the phone and responded with "why?". He then claimed to be the manager. No manager answers with "why?". They tried to brush it off like it was a kids fault, even though they are claiming the driver did not have change. I then received a call from another person named Hassan claiming to be the manager. He asked if I was going to fight his driver even though I stated he may have am appropriate tip. No apology or remorse was given.

My chicken strips were looking like a chicken patty. Also the chipotle chicken look like doo doo.

Love this place ! Food is always fresh and tasty and they are quick !!! I realized I made a mistake when ordering and called them to make a change (totally my fault) and the sub was already made so they remade a sub and were so nice about it !!! Good prices for the food you get as well A++

Tried their cheese burger and chicken shawarma, both are really good. The chicken shwarma is filling and the cheese burger was a good portion too. I prefer the burger over the chicken shwarma because the bread that they use for the shwarma is not the best. The guys there were really nice and it's a clean place.

Love this place. It's small but I always but absolutely love their subs and jalapeño poppers. Their not cheap about their meat which I love compared to other sub shops.

Always order on Uber eats, amazing food, freaky fast delivery... great late night food or a good go to when you can't decide what to eat... you can't go wrong!

I love this place sooo much it's my 2nd time ordering and the food it is so good and prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get i was craving al bashas and I got them and it's also a good inside joke with my friends I recommend this place 100% .. gonna tell all my friends and family about them

Prices are decent but you get what you pay for and what you get is food that looks like slop, dry as hell protein slathered in mayo. There isn't really anything appealing about their food. The food could be great but they choose to make it taste bad. So in short the food isn't good.

you guys are total piece of crap your food stinks period I mean you took over at eight old Quiznos but quizzes are 10 times better than you guys barely serve subs,I can get way better shawarma in East Dearborn places I know. I tell my friends never to go on with there because you guys just don't have good food. I mean it's so bad that highly recommend everybody to stay away from this place. if so no one wants to listen to me suit yourself i've said this before why don't you go back to the drawing board and close up shop and sell your place and be gone. i've seen the cops before at your place that's how bad is this. I Mean you Billy can serve subs nor even middle eastern food. So you guys are bad customer service You don't tell people had a time that's cash only goes all the way down to management to serve burgers in all this Gary are Yala I don't think you guys have it.. I rather go to Jersey Mike's and get a sub than you guys. I can go anywhere to get a sandwich way better than you guys. so it said that your guys still offering food where I seen reviews were people are just flat out telling you guys you're in darn nasty. Always the best subs in the Dearborn Heights area. They use only fresh ingredients daily so nothing is every stale. They young guys working there also always give great service even after working their long shifts. The steak subs would have to be the best around the detroit metro area and the special sub comes in a close second place. Finally top off your meal with some curly fries, a cold pop, and finish off with some rice pudding. Cheers

This place isn't the same anymore. 1) the chicken was soo rough 2) my chips were expired 3) the chicken tenders were rock hard. I got the Cajun fries and they weren't Cajun at all. All they did was sprinkle Cajun seasoning on top .

They have signs all over telling customers to wear masks but not one employee is wearing a mask. Who knows who might have Covid and breathing down into the food they're making.

Fajita Sub! my fave! but everything I've tried: meat shawarma, southwest sub, fattoush salad was all delicious! These guys know what they are doing! I'm from Las Vegas and we don't have anything like it there, so I must have it every time I visit. YUM

One star is the minimum allowed, which is too much for such a garbage place. when you ask for the manager to complain, everyone pretends to be the one. The owner lied that he was on the way to take care of an issue. Police was called. That was all because the order was a total mess and I wanted to cancel it and move on to a more reputable place.

Ordered a steak sub whole they gave me a half and charged me then tell me I have to go and pick it up at 1 when I'm already home again

This place is ran by a few young people and they are nice. But the food there lacks seasoning. Why do lots of restaurants make that simple mistake and not taste the food before putting it out? All you have to do is salt and not over cook the shit out of that damn chicken till it's dry and you can't swallow that bite.

I had Al Basha for lunch today and it was delicious. I had the chicken sub and added turkey bacon and corn to it. It was simply amazing. Best sub I've had in a long time. The worker was also very friendly and started a conversation with me. I thought that was really sweet. I'll definitely be coming back here.
