Ristorante Alle Ciaspole "Hosteria e Dimora"

This is not an hotel. It’s a fantastic restaurant with six fabulous cozy rooms.|Everything speaks about family here|From the staff and the warm welcome, the food is home comfort food and the rooms , actually they are all junior suites, all with a sofa and views, some even with two extra beds on a mezzanine. |Highly recommended and we need to return!

We visited the restaurant and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, service great and atmosphere cosy and upscale. Highly recommend, and we will for sure be back!

This is a restaurant with accommodation (rather than a hotel) in which you feel at home from the moment you arrive; would you like a glass of wine after your journey? Here, sit in our beautiful glass-walled sitting room and admire the view (which is great BTW). The whole place is immaculate, and thoughtfully accessorised without being overblown. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with a large bathroom complete with walk-in shower. The large bed was really comfortable, the sitting area excellent. It has a beautiful, homely restaurant, where we enjoyed two magnificent dinners, with impeccably chosen local wines. Our only regret was not taking a grappa (or two) in front of the crackling log fire afterwards, which would have made the evening(s) even more perfect. The breakfast was laid out almost as if we had specified every last detail of it, rather than Antonella having intuited what we might like (a mention here about the crystallised quince, which was superb). Do as we did and stay for more than one night, in order to have at least one day to explore the area (and pick up some excellent wines at the Cantina Bolzano). Any downsides? Well if you were hoping for fawning staff, TV in your room, or a gym/spa/wellness suite you'll be disappointed. If, on the other hand, you're looking for great Dolomites scenery, beautifully-prepared food accompanied by great local wines, ultra-comfortable accommodations, a breakfast to set you up for the day and a place to charge your Tesla, all in a highly relaxed ambience, I've yet to find anywhere better.

Wonderful food is really great. Also, for vegetarians, there is a selection. Great setting, perfect when coming down from the lake hiking.

Great location on top of Val di non. Very good service, traditional kitchen with a high quality of the ingredients, with starters and main dishes well prepared and with a selection of wild meats (I took the deer filet and it was fantastic). Desserts were good looking but a bit disappointing from a taste / texture perspective. Very nice wine selection. Price in line with the offering.

My family have become regulars in this place. For myself, I've been there 4 or 5 times, and everytime I ate here, it was excellent. From the tartara di capriolo, tagliatelle al ragù di cervo, tortelli alle acciughe, tortelli di patate, to the incredible stoccafisso mantecato and the coda di rospo I had last time, this menu doesn't seem to have any weeknesses. Not to mention the fantastic homemade bread made out of different flours (especially the potato one) with olive-butter. ||All surrounded by the beautiful "passo palade", that is marvellous done on a motorcycle.||If you happen to pass there, there is no way you can avoid eating there. But careful, you'll need to book, it's always stacked!

A few tables, an amazing location, impeccable service. The food is exquisite and the menu is incredibly well curated. I come here at least once a year and I've never been less than elated to dine at the Ciaspole. It is probably the best place to eat for a lots of miles.

One of the most relaxing and beautiful places I have ever stayed. Ambience calm and welcoming. Accommodation very spacious and clean. Restaurant really special, a lot of care about the decor, the service and the hospitality is absolutely top!
