I am a regular customer at Albertsons and generally have a positive experience, especially with the weekly promotion on frozen shrimp. However, my visit today began poorly due to an interaction with a cashier named Monica, an older lady who I later learned was temporarily assigned from another location. Monica was exceptionally rude and unhelpful. She refused to honor the coupon I regularly receive as a rewards member, and when I showed her my purchase history demonstrating the weekly deal on the frozen shrimp, she was dismissive. Monica stated that she "didn't care what I have bought in the past" and "didn’t care about the price I usually get," which I found to be incredibly unprofessional and offensive.Fortunately, the store manager, Alyssa D, intervened and completely rectified the situation. She calmly addressed the issue and honored the coupon without hesitation. Alyssa’s professionalism and understanding were a welcome contrast to the initial confrontation.While Alyssa provided excellent customer service, the initial interaction with Monica was unacceptable. I urge management to address this matter to ensure that all staff members maintain a consistent level of respect and professionalism towards customers. I am grateful to Alyssa for her assistance in resolving the issue.

If your of a darker skin tone don't go to this Albertsons. I just walked in to grab some juice and dark chocolate.... Not only was I followed but I was also stared at like a criminal. Went to go check another customer gave a disgust look like a going to do something to her baby then the did the same thing as it I wasn't going to pay for the items I grabbed. I did stand at the self checkout line for a minute cause I just came from the gym across the street. So yeah I'm going to look distressed after a 2hr walk on the treadmill.

Nice clean store. Prices are a little high but have good selection. They finally got rid of the many of the self serve and put back in the full serve check out. I hate the self serve, too many errors and problems!

Wow! This lady is a super employee, you can tell she is really going above and beyond for her $18/hr! Instead of letting people check out themselves at self check out, she holds up the line of impatient people in a rush to check each persons cart and to see if you’ve scanned everything. She even made sure to have us scan an item twice, it’s clear she’s a go getter trying to make more money for the company. Except, the machine wouldn’t work after she tried to void the 2nd charge for the item that she had us scan unnecessarily, so we had to wait extra long for her to check us out herself at the front! If you see her working, just know you’ll get the same stellar service we did!

I've been getting most of our groceries delivered from this particular Albertsons since COVID. What a gift! I've only been inside the actual store a few times, maybe 3, ever since. I used to go all the time in person, pre COVID. I visited recently and saw they had actually remodeled. The isles are wider! Kind of a fun trip to see. I remain a mostly delivery patron though. The advantage of delivery service from this store is the delivery fees are minimal, I can order ahead, as well as keep an ongoing list of needs on their app for when I'm ready. The whole time I've been ordering from this location they have only messed up a couple times. They have always fixed the issues though so I remain faithful. I like organic vegetables and grass fed beef. I would prefer grass fed and grass finished beef but they don't supply that. Bummer on that. They do carry wild caught salmon and shrimp though.. a plus. As far as their organic vegetables and fruit goes, sometimes they don't supply my wants. Bummer on that too but I'm still pretty darn happy with them.

Store has gone through a complete remodel. Much improved. Has 4 self checkouts as well. Bakery could have ended up a bit larger with more variety but everything is within easy reach.

I have to say that the produce at this store is great..i have bought bags of lettuce at other local places and they always are bad in one day. Their store brand is vacuumed sealed and amazing. The deli staff is very friendly and always helpful..love this store.

Organic selections are terrible. Often missing some fruits and vegetables. Organic avocados are always too ripe to purchase and banana selection is terrible. Staff is very pleasant though but I'm not swhy the produce manager still has a job there.

Repeat customer asked for ID EVERY TIME I PURCHASE ALCOHOL?!!! The law states that if someone APPEARS TO BE YOUNGER THAN 21 to card them. You know what Brenda and the Store Director Jarrod Lujan said to me? " You appear to look under 40 so we have to ask for your ID. said i am here all the time, I grew up in this area and I have to be carded " every time" when I have already established that I am clearly over 21. The insanity is real everyone! They are fake afraid of losing a liquor license to someone who is clearly over 21. ( I call bull sh*t) The law states that they can not sell alcohol to a minor, it does not state that a business is to ask for ID for an adult who is clearly over 21 and has established this evidence with many of the cashiers as I pointed our to the store director. One cashier, who i have checked out with many times in the two years she has been with the store, was at the self checkout at the time even laughed at me when I said that they DO NOT know the law of selling alcohol. Yes I know that people do not have the " right to purchase alcohol" and that businesses can set a parameter of specifications to protect themselves from potentially selling to a minor. But when the LOGIC, that a person is clearly over the age of 21 does not take precedence, then WE HAVE A PROBLEM !!!! Lujan stated, " When you go to a club, dont they card you at the door before they allow you inside." His statement not only solidifies that he believes that I am over 21, but is also establishes that everyone cards whether someone appears to be over 21 or not. But there is a vast difference between going to a club and frequently visiting a grocery store. He was clearly not listening to me and my view that I have ALREADY established that I am over 21. I even said, i was here yesterday with my ID AND might be here tomorrow with my ID. BUT TO REFUSE SERVICE on the ONE TIME I do not have my ID is weird to me. ((this might be left, but this is just hie far my mind stretches) During the years of slavery if someone did not have their papers to establish that they are FREE CITIZENS that they were subject to a public hanging. TIMES CHANGE BUT PEOPLE DO NOT) THERE ARE TOO MANY GROCERY OPTIONS FOR LOGIC TO FAIL IN THIS SITUATION! Albertsons in Murrieta, no matter the location, has become a disappointment and clearly bias against me. They used me as an example to refuse service and embarrass me, but the citizens of Murrieta were able to step up when I was in line and see what was happening to me. A few ladies said that they would have showed their Id for be because they can see with their two eyes that I am over 22. If this situation was amusing to Albertsons employees then i would say that you are welcome for that. Because if this is funny to you, then you have not matured yet. You think you know, but you have no idea. Shame on you Albertsons and your illogical employees starting from the Store Director, Jarrod Lujan, down.

Former employee here. If you want coupons we use the albertsons app which replaced the old coupon slips. It sounds tedious but it's generous with the deals and they're pretty great too, which saved my ass from going hungry on a tight budget, was able to save a lot of cash from it too. The stores clean too. Management is competent and nice but not enough from abhorrent workplace that drove me to quitting. It's very toxic, most (not all, some are nice) employees are dicks which effected customer service too, some bipolar customers as usual. Casual discrimination to customers, I had no power to correct or speak up for myself. Extremely sorry if I offended anyone with my slimy attitude, it's always from a co worker. I guess shop or work here at your discretion. It's customer service it's not surprising but it was still a shitty scenario to get in with.

We stopped shopping at the store on Clinton Keith because of a nasty cashier, we started shopping at the Cal Oaks location because of the meat manager (she's very kind and always smiling) , the majority of the staff are always kind and helpful. I've had a lot of good experiences and i wish i got all of their names but the stand out in the service deli is Christian. I always get the same meat and almost always he rushes to help me. Cuts it the perfect thickness and is always kind. He sees me and asks if i want capicola? It's always a yes and he handles it with a smile. I always smile when he asks. I used to work in that business and it's impressive that out of all the people he helps, he remembers my order. I bet im not the only one too. I appreciate him and all the countless others who have helped make our experience better and brighter. Great store, great staff! Bravo

Albertsons, you have lost some customers today after that racist interaction with one of your employees (a white lady). I am appalled. We will be sticking to Trader Joe's and Winco where we have always been provided excellent customer service and have not felt discriminated against. My boyfriend (black and military veteran) went inside with his service dog (pitbull) with the intention of buying a few things. Since the store didn't have everything he wanted, he put the juice bottle back and left empty handed. The white employee proceeded to then follow him outside and yelling. She called him a dirt bag and said did you put it back. I have done the same thing my boyfriend has there and I have never been stopped or accused of stealing. Sometimes the store just doesn't have everything we need and we prefer to get it from just one place. My boyfriend went back inside, livid, and demanded to speak to the manager. He showed the manager his ID and his dog's ID and insisted they check the cameras. The manager was apologetic. But the same lady was still harassing him the whole time he was in there and did not apologize whatsoever. Maybe don't hire racist employees and you wouldn't lose business. I hope she gets fired from there. That is unacceptable. We will be letting all of our friends and family know about this highly disappointing interaction.

I have shopped at Albertsons for years. They have digital coupon deals which are very problematic and often do not work the way they're supposed to and take a lot of time to be able to get the digital deal. I use the app and then you have to search for the item save it to your cart scan the barcode for each item and then present it to the cashier. This whole process is annoying takes too much time and many times when I'm in line people have problems in front of me which further delays the time that it takes me to check out as well as others. I shop at other stores as well and I never have these types of issues. My opinion is that no different than the other discounts given that you just use your phone number have the same process without all the other Hoops to have to jump through as far as I'm concerned it is a waste of my time and other people's times and disrespectful to the customer. Almost every time that I shop in Albertsons either myself or someone in front of me is having problems with these digital coupons not working properly. Yesterday when I was shopping I had to speak with a store employee and then a manager to get the coupons to work correctly which took about 15 minutes of my time. Additionally the manager of the store informed me that he has brought this to the attention of the regional managers and they say it's a corporate problem and they can't do anything about it. It almost sounds like you guys are a government agency and the nonsense that's going on. The fix is very simple and will make your customers more happy tie it to the phone number and cut out all the other nonsense. Is it really worth it to lose customers and irritate them. While I was in the line checking out there were other people complaining and talking to me regarding this deceptive business practice. You should not have to jump through all those Hoops to get a deal. I will be reposting this on social media until Albertsons make changes and respect their customers.

I live in Murrieta California and always shopped at Albertsons since we moved from Temecula I had purchased meat always from there for Vons and always had a good quality, my family recently purchased leg of lamb on sale and it turned out to be bad meat few weeks ago my son was vomiting all night long and my wife had stomach aches but we never thought it was the meat we went to make some a few days later and the smell was horrendous coming out of there we returned it with so many problems, but finally we got a rain check and told ourselves it was just the one time issue so we let it go my son had to stay home 4 days from work my wife a couple of days also. Today we go get fresh meat to cook on barbecue because it's our our anniversary but we open up the meat to cook and OMG the smell was horrendous horrendous & it did not look right, I contacted the FDA and I took the sample of this meat because I feel like Albertsons is not doing something right so stay away from them I know I will now we have to go back and go through soo much crap to return this horrible meat

I always shop here. Never had a problem. The employee's have always been professional, helpful and friendly. The meat dept, deli, cashiers, baggers, all of them have been awesome! I've never had to wait long, and if I'm looking stupid cuz I can't find what I'm looking for, somebody is usually right on top of things and asking if I need help. Great job, all!!

Will NEVER return to this location. I have also warned my friends and family to never shop here again. Went shopping at 8pm with my fiancé and used the self checkout for my 7 items. After paying and bagging my items we headed towards the exit where an associate named Patricia stopped me and my fiancé to ask if we paid... Are you joking? There are 4 other people around us using the self checkout and she had the audacity to ask if WE paid. We showed our receipts and she proceeded to call us "weirdos" for being upset at the question. I'm truly disgusted that her coworker standing near by said absolutely nothing to intervene and allowed for Patricia to call us out of our names. Will be making a formal complaint and HOPE Patricia is disciplined for her actions towards PAYING customers.

So I got this sandwich from this store and usually if I wanted a sub, I would go to Subway or Jersey Mike's. It looked good when deli lady was making them and it was advertised for $5 on a Friday. So I bought one and brought home for kids. When I sliced sandwich in half, I was disappointed to see that there was so much bread and so little meat. I will not buy sandwiches from Albertsons again.

So today a group of kids from highschool went to buy pumpkins. Teachers were with them. Spent approx $200. Some employees said the kids needed to get out. Very rude. It was a group of regular kids and their disabled peers. On a fun activity. As a parent of one these disabled kids I will never step foot in your store again. These our kids from our community. Teach your employees compassion and how to treat people . Especially children. You would not get treated like this at stator bros!

Dear Sir, or Mam,   I am writing in regards to an incident that happened to me by one of your store managers and employees. I went into your store number 609 this evening around 6:45 pm. I chose the few things I needed,( as I've done once a week since I moved to Murrieta. As I was standing in line at the register waiting to be checked out a very loud and rude manager announced over 3 check stand I needed a mask. I politely said "no thank you" She then proceeded to very loudly and as rude as she could be, that her checker Cameron (female) would not ring me up without it. I explained I did not have one and she yelled, then you have to leave. I told her again I did not have one. So she yelled back, I'LL GET ONE.  By this time feeling attached and violated I made a comment back to her to the effect of, why to follow some arbitrary rule?  I excepted her mask and then in order to avoid the hostility I was receiving from checker Cameron.  I am coming to you with this because I was rudely shamed, and belittled by your employees. If it is your company policy to treat customers this way I can assure you I will not be returning to any of your stores. And for me that is a very big deal because in all this mess with the states current events, your store was one of the last places I could shop without feeling belittled or shamed in public because of my disability.  You see years ago I was forced to perform oral sex on my rapist until I was checking and could no longer breathe. For me anything across my mouth and nose is petrifying. So to force me into a mask sends me into complete panic. I am sorry that I returned there hostility in kind, but it wasnt intentional. It was the panic over being forced into a mask.   For me living everyday with this violent attack in my head leaves me with very few places to feel safe. Over the last 4 years I've come to feel safe shopping in your store. Your employees took that from me tonight. Leaving me feeling violated all over again. I am writing you this so perhaps you could rethink how your employees treat there customers. Trust me I hope nobody ever has to feel they way I'm feeling now.

This has been my go to Albertsons location for over 20 years. I have usually had good service and can find what I want. The store is usually clean and stocked. I always check the expiration dates on perishables because I have found expired yogurt, hotdogs, baked beans in the deli prepackaged area, and lunch meat. But, mostly, things are fine. Their floral and gift area is always very nice. I think they handled the Covid rules as best as they could and I appreciate their efforts to stay open and as stocked as possible.

Due to a last minute decision, I needed a birthday cake with a princess castle. Of course the bakery could make one for me to pick up next day but there was no way I could drive back down there again the next day from where I live. Jessica in the bakery was able to reconfigure a graduation cake adding a princess castle that really fit the need. She worked with me to find everything needed and all with a patient smile and good attitude. Thank you for helping a little girl out for her special birthday celebration.

You know, I've never really had a problem at this Albertsons until tonight. Granted I usually just come here for a few last minute or spur of the moment items. I never do any heavy grocery list shopping here because of the prices compared to other stores. I always have great service from the cashiers. They all tend to have a smile on their face. I enjoy that the bank inside is a Wells Fargo. Thats where I bank, so it allows another convenient location for me to use. Heres what went wrong tonight. I decided to try this Schweppes brand black cherry sparkling water from the cold freezer near the entrance to the store. I get home and take a couple of sips and my stomach begins to feel funny. I thought the drink tasted like any flavored water that Ive tried, so I thought nothing of it. It continued to hurt and I finally realized I didnt check the expiration date of anything we got tonight. Im usually very good at not only checking the date myself but reminding my husband to do the same. Way to fail. The drink expired in April. Maybe my stomach was just randomly hurting. All I know is once I stopped drinking the water it felt better. Needless to say there should never be expired products on the shelf in any store, so hopefully better attention will be made by this Albertsons.

Been shopping Albertson's in Murrietta since I moved here a year ago. It's the worst service I've ever experienced. Have to wait 5 -10 minutes every time I try to purchase lotto tickets, etc.!!! And in the Deli department, the workers usually lay the container lid face down on the counter while filling container. When a line states it's an "express lane" it should mean cash or card only. An annoying lady had the nerve to write a check in the express lane and took such a long ass time...mind you, she had way more than 15 items!!! Wtf!! I'd assume the cashier would've said something to her. Then the cashier was taking her sweet little time, not even calling for back up knowing that the express lane line was long...apparently they must've been friends bc they were talking about their kids. This is unacceptable. Idk if they didn't give a crap was bc the lady in front of me was asian, then i was next, then a black guy was behind me, and a hispanic lady behind the black guy. Sometimes i feel that the ppl working here are more friendly to white ppl.

This location is a little further from me, but closer to my parent's home. I typically visit this location when I plan to have dinner at my parents' so I can just drop by, get what I need and show up to their house. I think this one is just okay. I'd say that this store is a lot busier simply because it's in a busier shopping center. There's ample parking, but I rarely get a close spot up front. When walking into the store, there's usually a seasonal display or flowers. I've never really been greeted here when walking in, but that doesn't mean their customer service sucks. Every interaction I've had with an employee here has been good. I haven't experienced any rudeness or someone who couldn't help me find what I needed. I will comment that sometimes, it's hard to find someone when you need them, but that's when I usually just ask someone at the register. The lines at the registers aren't too crazy, but the lines do move a bit slow. As mentioned, I only swing by when it's convenient and I can see myself continuing to do this.

This is for the bakery! So disappointed, I always order cakes here for my whole family. And ordered one for my hubby and what I got was a sloppy, falling down/tipping over cake which is ridiculous considering the fact it was literally just a red velvet cake! Nothing else in it. I emailed Albertsons but of course no response, oh well wont come back again. See the pics attached and DONT get cakes made here!

If I had read the Yelp rating I wouldn't have gone here, cause honestly it deserves the rating it has here. There were not enough cashiers at a busy time. A stressful atmosphere. The self checkout POS is the worst in the industry, and frustrating to use. Whoever was monitoring self checkout must have been stressed, because she gave me a very bad attitude. She basically gave me a bossy tone and told me I did something wrong by scanning with the scan gun, I told her the system wasn't working right because something had fallen off of the counter and the weight wasn't consistent after I placed it back on. She said that wasn't the case and she knows better than me basically. I go "okay." Begin scanning without the gun again and it does the same thing. I know she is going to have to fix it and give me more attitude, and I was completely done with this and just left my stuff, I refuse to tolerate rudeness.

I normally don't do Yelp reviews on stores but I can't even put into words how great this store is! Every single worker I've ever been in contact with here whether it's the check out clerk, florist, bakery team, or the meat dept, every one is just so kind and helpful. This is my regular store and honestly because of how incredible the staff is I don't really go to any other store anymore! Everyone here is usually so nice and helpful. Their food selection from produce to meat are always fresh, their cakes are delicious, and they have one of the best florist. There is an Albertsons closer to my house but this one is so much better all around. The only con is that there is usually a lot of traffic in this area.

We live across from the Wildomar location, but there floral department is no longer up to par. We now shop at this Murrieta location not just for flowers, but the wider selection.

Today I was at Albertsons to buy Lamb shoulders, I asked the butcher Angela to cut the lamb shoulders certain way ,she did it exactly how I wanted,I really appreciate that. Thank you Angela !

Well they did it again! My husband thought he'd give them another try after the wedding cake fiasco to make up for it and bought or anniversary cake there.. nope!! Still as horrible as the first time!! How can decorating like this be acceptable?!??!?!!

CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES, especially on meat and dairy products. A lot of them have passed their "use by" dates! Also every time I shop here there are never enough cashiers to handle the customers jammed up in line! It is so frustrating. My ice cream was practically melted by the time I got to the cashier in the express line. I'm now looking for a nearby Ralph's!

Walk in and I cant find a handbasket anywhere. I give up and just try to hold the items I need in my hand. I see someone with a basket so i know they exist. I back back up front and there there are NEXT TO THE EXIT DOOR under a bakery table. Who needs a hand basket on their way out? Anyway I continue with my shopping and notice right away that their prices are very high. 25-35% higher than smart and final or winco. They have soooo many types of tags hanging on the shelf, you really need to pay close attention to the "deal" or you end up paying full price if you dont 1. Buy a certain quantity 2. Have a membership card 3. Sign up for these for you coupons online that I had no idea how to do, and it's not explained anywhere on their tags or signage. Lastly I get to the register and they are awkwardly designed like a horseshoe. There is NO WHERE to place your handbasket. You just awkwardly stand there holding it while trying to take out your payment. My cashier didnt even acknowledge me. She just blabbered non stop with her friend who was in line behind me. 2 stars because the store is clean and well stocked. I would never shop her again though.

I really like Albertsons they have a great clearance selection. The store is always clean and all of the staff is friendly and helpful. I sometimes pick up the precooked chickens in the deli area for dinner. The family loves them and I can count on them having at least 3 different flavors. I also like to use their bakery. It has a lot of tasty selections.

Got my first vaccination but no follow up from pharmacy about scheduling the 2nd shot. Website is messed up and no one has been able to help me at the pharmacy. Really poor follow up and communication at an important time.

Want jammed up checkout lines, terrible service, and rude and condescending cashiers? Then, this grocery store is for you! Debbie was the worst. She is rude, abrasive, and lacks any customer service etiquette. Her checkout register was having malfunctions. The line was wrapped around to the freezer aisle. Who better to blame than the paying customer? Rather than just owning up to it, and apologizing to your customers in line. Faulting the customer and their form of payment, and demanding for another payment alternative. Zero self-responsibility. Funny. I leave my cart behind, and take my business to Target next door and my payment works just fine on their machines. Won't ever be back to this pitiful store. Zero stars!
