I’ve always had a great experience shopping at Albertsons! The store is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with a wide variety of fresh produce, quality meats, and all the essentials. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and quick to assist if I have any questions or need help finding something. I especially appreciate how easy the checkout process is, whether I’m using self-checkout or going through a regular lane. Their weekly deals and digital coupons help me save money, and the bakery and deli sections are top-notch. Definitely one of my go-to grocery stores!

Rude woman Christy I believe her name was, from floral! Said she couldn’t just give me the paper bag and string with my flower bouquet. After I payed for the bundle. VERY unprofessional on the phone and rude! Won’t be buying flowers from here anymore.

It was a good experience all around, nice cashiers and the store was very clean, I enjoyed shopping here and will definently come back! Overall it's a 4/5, it was a good experience, but not a 5 star one.

Please do better. Today is 10/20. These items expired weeks ago. UPDATE: today is February 2. They continue to have items on the shelf weeks past the expiration date.

First time in this specific location, but I dig it. Super clean, friendly staff, had everything I needed.

I love my local Albertsons. All the employees are extremely helpful and kind. You can't help once in a while if things are temporarily out of stock. They always make sure and reorder for you. The produce here is awesome. I'll get a photo soon!

Great store with great selection much cheaper than other places. Also quick self checkout, really impressed with that. Masks are no longer required.

I love that they sell Hotwheels here; please keep it up! They had Hotwheels I hadn't seen at other places.

This is my favorite grocery store. It's organized properly and logically. There is open space to find things and it's peaceful in here. The people that work here are lovely. The options are plentiful. Lovely grocery store all around.

For being a store brand these are fantastic. Price is super reasonable and quality is great, taste is really really good. With prices of all chips going thru the roof. We thought we would give this brand a try. So glad we did. It is now our go to chip. Holds up great with our homemade salsas and dips. Even just by itself.

A lovely smaller Albertsons that is clean, and tidy. Can't stress enough how good the produce quality is. I also wanted to write about the awesome staff there at our local Albertsons. A stand out employee cashier is Bill. A friendly familiar face when I go through his line. Professional, helpful, and a down to earth guy. Thank you!

I would give the store and the employees 4 stars except for one particular employee. MIKE. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Rude, condescending and lazy. Sometimes I am just not in the mood to encounter him and will drive to Vons so I will be certain that I won't.

I came in this morning around 715. There was only one person working the checkout lane but it had a closed sign. Walked down all the aisles and Mike was the only person working. He gave me the most attitude when I tried checking out telling me I can go to self check out. Sorry Mike, your job is to assist customers. He was so snarky and rude. It rubbed me the wrong way. I'm calling back at 8 when the manager comes in. Mike needs to be retrained on customer service.

From start to finish, the entire process of ordering these cakes went smoothly, seamlessly and gracefully. We were treated with consideration, attentiveness and professionalism. The only tips I have is that it would be nice to show the customer the sizes that are available, possibly let the customer see the order sheet or even fill it out themselves. That way the can see all the options and flavors. Also, they forgot to ask if I wanted a message or name written on the cake and I forgot to ask for it as well. But these cakes are delicious and priced very low in comparison to private vendors. Facebook business women were charging me $300 for similar items.

6/2025 The last few months I have noticed I am throwing away more overripe produce too soon from the day I brought them. What a waste of money. I can't trust the store produce department.

OK, that was an unpleasant experience. So a gentleman at the self check out line his name was Danny was so incredibly rude. I honestly didn't even know what to say. I've been shopping at the store for quite a while, but this was a whole new experience I had scanned a couple of quick items that I noticed that the pricing didn't match the signs so I wanted to look at a little more closely and this rude Jerk decided to shout out to me "when you get this figured out. Let me know". Having a bad day Danny? OK so I'm not some random person that you can treat like a piece of garbage in your store. Perhaps you need to have a conversation with Danny about his customer service skills. As far as I can see, he doesn't have any. I guess that's why you just have three stars on yelp. This is written by a long term Store Manager who would be moving this winner out the door.

Albertsons changed the packaging to their bakery cookies and now they're always dry. Don't buy the cookies anymore. I'm super disappointed. You don't change perfection. The new packaging is drying them out.

Someone in charge needs to calm the old cashier lady yelling at everyone who comes through her line loudly bragging about being in the union, to speak in a lower kinder tone. Oh no

Shout to Erin from the bakery department . She decorated the cake beautifully with tight deadline. I wanted a mirror glaze but Albertsons don't provide that , but she decorated as beautiful as it can get . Thank you so much Erin!

I usually don't waste my time posting but I love this Albertsons and staff however the guy behind the counter that yelled NEXT! After I received my chicken at the deli made feel like another number. I did wish him a good day with no response. Just have some common courtesy...

Amazing customer service and support .drive up and go. Highly recommend. Tech support from Colby Sirica went way above and beyond. My wife and I are extremely grateful for his wonderful support

This is a huge clean market in Rancho Bernardo. We needed a card and a balloon for a birthday visit. We added a Stover candy box and a small live Orchid. He only has limited space in the Apartment. Nice store. My Safeway rewards card also works here.

Lack of customer service is beyond baffling. Cashier Bill is grumpy, rude and lacks a single bone of happiness and etiquette! Not to mention his manger Danny who instead of making things better just put the cherry on the top. I had never being so much insulted in ANY grocery store ever!! They really took the cake when it came to not giving a single care. Avoid this store unless you feel like being mentally abused and treated like crap. I do hope these two guys get some classes on how to treat customers!

The struggle is real. Having to wear a mask now for anything and everything makes life a bit difficult. Albertsons has their social distancing markers throughout the store. I even noticed staff wiping down all the carts and perimeters of the aisles. I couldn't feel more safe while grocery shopping. Thanks Albertsons for making us feel comfortable during this unprecedented times.

This Albertsons has a good location and is easily accessible. The store has a reasonable assortment designed to serve an older crowd. The store is an easy in, easy out. I particularly enjoy their hot foods counter. Where in San Diego can you get a "chicken meal deal" with a a few varieties to choose from that feeds a family of four for under $11.00?

Not cool. They must be having done refrigeration problems or something because their product is obviously poorly cared for. And to think that I'd have to pay at least triple the amount in gas to drive all the way back up to prove the mishandling and get the refund. Not too happy with Albert's son

Albertsons has become my favorite grocery store. The staff are so helpful and friendly. I feel like I have a personal shopper. Erizelda has gone above and beyond helping me stay stocked up on My favorite brand of hummus. She noticed me looking for it asked if she could help I told her what I was looking for and she said she'd order more and what day it would be in. When I went back in she brought the boxes out for me. Went In a week later, none on the shelf , All I had to do was say Hi . Erizelda said hold on and she went in the back With a large cart and opened the box. I feel very special and at 63 I never had this level of customer service in a grocery store.

Shout out to Zach in the Butcher/Meat dept. He went above and beyond when an item was out of stock on the shelves. Told me the truck was unloading and he'd set the turkey aside for me. How nice! But he went one step further and saw me in another aisle and hand delivered it to me. Awesome Customer Service! 5-stars for Zach!! (Review for the Rancho Bernardo store at RB rd and Pomerado)

This is not just your regular Albertsons!! They've got the best bakery chef at this location they make the most amazing cake here!!!

This place almost always has everything in stock. They are even one of the only stores open for a half day on Thanksgiving.

Avoid the meat counter. $10.99 for the flat cut of brisket. That's double anywhere else....and that would be for the entire packer cut. Their "Butcher" does not know the difference between the flat and point. Overall quality of meats and the skill that they have has deteriorate to "zero" in the last 10 years. I stopped shopping their meat counter a while back but thought I'd give them one more shot tonight. Never again. Edit ---thanks for the response. Part of my complaint is that I drove there thinking the whole cut was available. (I called first to see if you had it). That's a training issue which can be solved. After I left , I went down the road and bought and entire packer for $4.40 a pound and that INCLUDES the much better quality point cut on top of the flat. Less than 1/2 the price for much much better quality. (Both yours and theirs were choice grades). The butcher was polite and I asked him if it was priced just as if it was the point in error and he checked...that is your price for the flat. Brisket (whole) has become really popular in the last 15 years here on the west coast so I understand the price is going up but this...along with many other items you have are simply way off and the quality is the same or lower than other local shops. I'll pay for quality meat. But yours isn't quality and its not reasonably priced. Costco PRIME packer cut briskets are in the $5 range. I honestly think you just have an error on your pricing sheet on this and a few other cuts.

I'm allergic to dogs, just smelling them near by makes my eyes burn before I even know they are near by. There are always dogs in this store. I asked an employee if Albertsons was dog free and he said no they allow dogs, but the website say they are not allowed and there is a sign on the door saying no dogs. Why can't we have dog free places to buy our food? And why don't places enforce their own rules? As soon as I can find a store that doesn't have this problem, I will bring my $300-400 dollars worth of weekly purchases to that store. And I'm not talking about service dogs.

I love the grocery pick up. The food was fresh, and the young man was friendly. I'll definitely be back.

This is maybe my favorite grocery store in San Diego. I don't know why, but they are a cross between all the things that I like about the others. First of all, you walk in and it is so spacious. Even at the busiest of times, you don't feel like you're getting some boom-shak-a-lacka-boom action with the other customers that are bumping and grinding with you due to the lack of space in a given aisle. Or, my other favorite, the 90 year old lady who is simultaneously blocking traffic in every direction because she's trying to figure out what brand of oatmeal is on sale and the aisle is too narrow for anyone else to get by. That is not this Albertsons. Everything feels new and clean and their assortment of products is amazing. I've never seen anything like it. Their produce/bakery/deli area goes on forever. Think a normal Ralphs without all the chaos and congestion. Having said that, this store is owned by Vons, so you'll see on many products the same ripoff prices that you've grown to know and hate there. Sometimes, though there are fairly good deals and/or unique enough items that all of that doesn't bother you. If I have a choice, I'll always go to this Albertsons. Everyone is friendly and the prepped foods are really fresh and taste good!

Nice clean store. It is jampacked with a many different departments. It is on older store but looks pretty now. Staff is pretty friendly. Prices are decent. Only complaint, and it has nothing to do with the actual store, is the tight parking lot. Other than that, it is a great supermarket to get what you need.

They have sales, and you use your phone to get the discount using the U app. But way too many times the sales discount is not given ! And then you need to have them correct it! The sale should work with out all the gimmicks!

The cashier today around 3pm at the first register near the self check out was a complete and total tool. Clearly doesn't understand it's christmas and couldn't help out after hearing us talk about loosing something in checkout about 2 people away. Total dickhead. Shouldn't be working during christmas eve.

If you use just 4 U, don't expect any of the PayPal rebates. I have been dealing multiple times with their chat and have emailed over the past 2 months regarding over $24 in PayPal rebates i never got a email from coupons.com. I have used the rebates multiple times so everything is correct. But the last 8 weeks, nothing! And the customer service always says the same thing, it will go out "tomorrow."

Found a few small orchids that had lost all their flowers and minimal root rot. I know floral departments usually discount items and I thought I'd ask. After getting the run around and them not wanting to make a sale I decided to take my business elsewhere. That's too bad because I was going to buy 4 full grown orchid arrangements at $30-$50 each.

Albertsons delivery-pickup service is bad. I will not use sgain. Here's why; 1. They don't let you know that delivery is not available until after your order is placed. 2. They don't let you know that the only pickup times are days into the future 3. I ordered $150 of groceries centered around two items - roast beef, and a full roasting chicken. When they told me pickup was ready was the first time they let me know neither item would be part of my order. 4. This lack of customer orientation is what makes these bricks ond mortar groceries ripe for slaughter by Amazon food service. They don't offer all the product choices yet, but when they do, the grocery chains will either improve dramatically or die.

Came here on thanksgiving for some deli meats and wound up picking up a bunch of stuff! Will definitely be visiting again.

Deli clerks they don't change gloves before serving , this morning I was there to get chicken tender , attendant was cleaning and try to use same gloves to serve, I refused and told him he need to change his gloves but he didn't , I left without buying

I visit this store often because of its close proximity to my home. I use their pharmacy and they are great! Very friendly neighborhood pharmacy. I gave three stars due to the fact that parking there is horrendous! There are a few other shops in the center a Starbucks, Papa John's, chicken Charlie's, dry cleaners, postal, nail salon, and a couple more which causes some lack of parking. Than there's also been several instances where I've been having issues with the deli inside the Albertsons either with the customer service or just their lack of consistency with the order. My last order they gave me the wrong item and to top it off instead of the product I paid for I got a baggie full of parchment paper, I count out more paper than I do meat which was exactly 25 pieces of parchment paper that was weighed and paid for in place of prosciutto.

Pet Problem-Get a bigger sign. The ADA sign about service animals is a small sticker on the sticker cluttered door. It needs to be a big placard at the entrances. Do something about the pets, already. Train your staff. Know the difference between pets and service animals. Emotional comfort animals are pets, NOT service animals per ADA. 8/14/18 6:45PM. No one wants to put their food in a cart used as seating by a gray poodles ass. Why should customers have to ask? Get on it. For your education: An emotional support animal provides care and comfort to an owner who is living with mental illness or is coping with some form of emotional distress. It is not trained to perform tasks, such as bringing its owner medication, and is therefore NOT CONSIDERED A SERVICE ANIMAL. While landlords are obligated to accommodate emotional support animals in rental units that generally do not permit pets, this accommodation does not extend to public spaces, such as grocery stores.

I'd only visited this Albertsons once before it shut down and became Haggen. Fortunately, Haggen tanked and our neighborhood Albertsons re-emerged! Vons and Albertsons are now owned by the same company so their weekly deals are comparable. I typically study their circular prior to doing my grocery shopping to see who has the best deal on what that week. You'll find "buy 5, save $5" deals on items like cheese, cereals, ice cream, frozen meals, cleaning products, etc. Pair those with manufacturers coupons and you get a significant discount. The afternoon I stopped by, there wasn't a long wait time in the check out line and the cashier was friendly. The store was clean and organized and there was plenty of parking out in the lot. They could benefit off a couple more cart returns in the lot.

I stood at the Deli counter for a while and was completely ignored by the two staff working in that section. Ended up not buying anything. Sucks because I love their spicy chicken tenders. Also, I find they always have checkout lights on but an employee isnt there... so I have to walk back and forth until I finally find someone.

If the meat dept is staffed with a guy named Sean stay away. If you ask for specific size of meat and he pulls on that is way over weight he'll cop an attitude and throw the piece you declined back in showcase and have an attitude that childish and like you expect from a punk. I suggest the store manager talk to him. Or it may not be pretty next time I shop that dept.

Don't use INSTACART whatever you do!! This Albertson's is fantastic and they have everything, but, I used Instacart and they couldn't seem to find many of the items I needed. They replaced the items with items that made no sense whatsoever, and left food out that I was charged for! I went to the Albertson's the next day and they had every single item that was missing from INSTACART, LOL. Thank you Albertson's you're great, INSTACART: Big thumbs down.

I don't ordinarily shop at this store - Albertsons RB. Its a bit far from where I live and I find the prices to be a bit more than the other stores I shop at. But since they seem to be the only store that has Bulls Eye BBQ sauce, I went in today and was happy to find them on sale. What I was not happy with was the snarky tone of the lady at the flower desk when I asked if I could get a different container for the arrange,ent I selected. She said yes, but that I would have to pay more. Of course I didn't mind that, but her tone was unnecessarily harsh. I was also met with poor customer service at the checkout. The young checker seemed to have an issue with sliding the boxed flower arrangement to me so that I could put them in the cart. She kept delaying doing so and made a comment to me about her hands being busy and would I like to bag. Then at the end of the transaction, when I told her she had a bad attitude, she said to me "ditto". Fortunately I purchased enough Bulls Eye to last me a year, so I don't need to go back there anytime soon. I did report her to management.

They have a fantastic produce department. Lots of exotic items and reasonably priced organic produce. The meat department could use some work. They are often out of their advertised items.

Waiting in the checkout express. Person in front of me more than 15 items. Open another register and take the next customer. Charlie took the person behind me. At least make sure when you're opening another register for a good customer service to grab the next person legitimately an Line.

I have to give 5 stars to the Bakery department. My grandson had a Mickey Mouse theme for his 1st birthday. I ordered 5 dozen Mickey Mouse cupcakes from here plus a larger one for the birthday boy. The staff was very nice and helpful through the process. Everyone loved the cupcakes and they were reasonably priced. I'd definitely go back here for any special desserts needed!

This rating refers ONLY to the Pharmacy. I had left an RX for an injectable medication, Lovanox; it comes already packed in disposable syringes, ready to dispense, with 1.0 ml. in each syringe. When I arrived, the pharmacy intended to dispense fewer than the 30 prescribed filled-syringes, based on the dr. having specified 0.9 ml. per dose. The idea seemed to be that I might somehow (magically?) extract that last 0.1 ml. (about 3 drops!) to fill out my 30-day prescription; but never mind that I obviously wouldn't have any syringes to administer this minute amount... My father was a professional pharmacist; I simply cannot imagine him or any of his staff EVER making such a ridiculous assumption! Of course I insisted on receiving the full prescribed 30 syringes, which was reluctantly done after a few lame excuses were made. It is incredible to me that ANY registered pharmacist would have done this. So, dear folks, beware of the RB Albertson's pharmacy, PLEASE.

I love what this Albertsons has become. By-and-large it's avoided taking on the same smelly persona that its ugly step-cousin, Vons, always parades around with. It's a beautifully renovated store, well lit, lots of interesting products, and for a guy who actually enjoys going to the market, it's a pleasure. Employees are always friendly and on top of it. However, I cannot envision myself ever giving Albertsons a 5 star rating again after the Haggen incident. In my original review I mentioned a "Haggen Hangover" and while I feel this store has made a valiant comeback, that minus-1 is for the "Northwest Fresh" disaster that the corporate people bestowed upon us. It's a lovely store though and I'm happy it's back.
