"If a fusion of Andalucian and Arabian flavours appeals to you, this simple restaurant, located beneath an arcade providing access to a residential building could be a good option. Albidaya, an Arabic word that could be translated as “the beginning”, is the first stand-alone personal venture for Ismael Abderrahaman (in the kitchen) and Jorge Seco (front of house and sommelier), both of whom have extensive experience in the restaurant sector. Their cuisine is centred around a market-inspired seasonal menu that changes weekly and features contemporary dishes that showcase interesting influences from Moroccan cooking (we particularly enjoyed the red tuna with marinated aubergine). A wine-pairing option is available, and almost all the wines on the menu are available by the glass." - Michelin Inspector

Possibly the best meal I’ve ever had. You’ll find this place in an alley next to a karaoke bar. Inside the decor isn’t elaborate and there was one server for the entire place. But don’t be fooled because you are in for a culinary treat. The tasting menu is perfectly thought out. Each dish had amazing flavor and presentation. Highly recommend the wine pairing. Comes to about 68 euro a person. Would never find this quality for that price in the United States. Although there is only one server I never felt ignored or forgotten. 10/10 recommend if visiting Granada.

The service was top notch. The waiter took his time an explained everything in detail. The food was outstanding and plenty of food. The final desert was ok. Everything else was outstanding. We skipped the wine pairing and just got a bottle to share. It's pricey but worth it. Probably the best service we've had in Granada. Recommend making reservations.

We spent a wonderful evening with expertly prepared food (the seabass was perfection!). The wine accompaniment, which in other places can sometimes be a bit uneventful, consisted of bold, very interesting and well fitting choices which we enjoyed a lot! The service was very friendly and quick and the ambiance simple but very cozy. Bravo and thank you!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Albidaya. The tasting menu was a culinary journey through Andalusia showcasing extremely fresh and local ingredients with high-level technical execution. The front of house service was impeccable, extremely warm, welcoming, and attentive. This was our favorite meal from our week long Andalusian trip thus far, and is 100% deserving of its Bib Gourmand rating from Michelin Guide. I cannot recommend Albidaya enough! If you’re in/planning to visit Granada, you MUST dine here.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It was founded by two friend ms Jorge and Chef Ismael. It was a special culinary experience. The menu varies depending on the time of the month. It is small with limited tables so you must make a reservation. They have a Michelin recommendation and I to recommend it.

We are so happy to have discovered this gem of a restaurant. The focus is on good food that is well balanced and complex. The tasting menu was wonderful and complimented well by the wine pairings. Service was incredibly attentive and the passion for food and love for their product clearly showed. Thus, it wasn’t only a great experience in culinary terms but also on a human level. Everything considered the prices are extremely fair.
