We are locals here on the Mendocino coast and see guests from all over the world at this hotel and restaurant. Dinner is fantastic for sunsets also, and you can make a feast on their small plates. Very attentive servers also. World class views and gardens, WOW! This photo is 8am with their Farmer's Toast breakfast. Spectacular food and service. Serving breakfast daily!

We had our anniversary dinner at the restaurant. My husband ordered the soup for the day, short ribs, and 3 shrimp. I ordered the clam chowder and rock cod. The clam chowder tastes nothing like a clam chowder. More like flour? Although the soup of the day (made with artichokes if I’m not mistaken) was good according to my husband. The rock cod fish and shrimp were OK. Just because I love seafood. The short ribs were on the salty side. Although meat was tender. And for our dessert. We ordered oatmeal apple with ice cream (that’s what the menu says: with ice cream) When the dessert came; the ice cream was missing? I asked my husband, didn’t it says with ice cream? He said, yes! That’s why we ordered? We told the server that it included ice cream. And she gladly took it back and completed the order with ice cream! Finally! WE ate our dessert! All in all the experience was great! Great location! Great service! Maybe the chef would taste the food 1st before serving? Til our next visit! Thank you, Albion Restaurant!

Made a reservation to celebrate our anniversary with friends. We enjoyed clam chowder and scallops appetizers.. great flavor. We also had the pork cutlet and chicken corden bleu for main courses and were very satisfied. Though the prices were high we felt the quality of food was worth it. The only thing we were disappointed in was choosing the ice cream for dessert. I view behind the restaurant is worth a stop in alone.

Lovely place, great views of the sea and night sky(there is a light out at sea that can pollute astrophotos). Very helpful hotel staff. Awesome restaurant, but the waitstaff wasn't the most pleasant.

We went here for our anniversary dinner. A beautiful view, but the restaurant left MUCH to be desired! Right away the place was cold! I left my big coat on for the entire meal. At one point I had to leave the table to stand next to the fire. Flies bothered us continuously. My squash soup was also cold. The brussel sprout salad was almost inedible. Far too salty and the sprouts were hard and poor quality. My husband's pork was so fatty and unappetizing he left more than half of it on his plate. Very few vegan option. I called to speak to a manager, left a message and no one returned my call. Enjoy the view- skip the food.

Stopped in Thursday Morning for breakfast. Walking into the restaurant, we were stunned by the view of the Little River flowing into the sea. Waves crashing on to rocks offshore, Pelicans diving for their breakfast. Place was almost empty. Superb breakfast, even better friendly service, matchless view. We will never not stop here again. Can’t wait to book a stay!
