Mom Of Three L.
Yelp
This is my most shopped store.
Bring a quarter for the cart rental, get it back when you return a cart once finished shopping and loading your car.
Bring your own bags. They sell them for just a few cents, if you forget, or sometimes there are decent boxes to use. (Usually the boxes are used for display, and so the front and top are cut off.)
Just 5 short aisles is the entire store. I love the quick trip. Nope, not every choice of every brand here. They have their own brand, most are good. Some, not so much. I suggest trying one first to see if it's to your taste liking, then either continue to buy or not. For instance, we think the Aldi brand mac n cheese is awful. I love saving $, but not enough for bad taste. The Aldi brand vanilla bean ice cream, we love! Try yourself and choose what your family likes and doesn't.
The store is clean, the aisles are wide, and items are easy to see and reach.
If you only come to get a good deal. Be sure to comparison shop, and continue to do so. Each trip. Generally, the prices on staples (pasta, sauce, milk, eggs, toilet paper, etc.) are comparable to other store sale prices. Other items here are normally more expensive than Super Saver rotating sales prices- on shredded cheese and meat, for instance. Aldi prices change fairly regularly, so don't get comfortable buying their regular items because you've found a great deal. Sometimes, it's priced great. Then the price seems to creep up until it's the same or even more expensive than other store prices.
Still, produce is hit or miss. Great deals, but check it closely for signs of nearing it's time for the compost bin.
