How to Ditch Your Hyper-Specific Menu Plan | Eater

"Presented as a budget-friendly grocery option for quick, low-effort meals, particularly useful for assembling inexpensive charcuterie-style lunches. The writer describes its pre-made offerings as “cut-rate charcuterie plates,” framing the store as a practical fallback when grocery shopping is limited or when you want to rotate easy take-home flavors without spending much." - T.S. Google
Very good service and the prices are affordable, and they have an excellent security guard doing an excellent job. I saw how she called out a man who was taking almost all the products without paying for them. My respects to her.

Parking is very tight, even small cars can’t fit in some spots. Grocery prices lower than other supermarkets, quality looks good. The meat prices were reasonable, although they don’t have a big selection. Cashier was very friendly and fast. Despite the parking, all in all good experience.

DON'T COME AT NIGHT THERE IS A BULLY I love this place on everything good prices, good mix of products and good quality product; however there is a Security lady that is a bully. I had the displeasure to go yesterday for shopping and she started yelling at everyone since 8:10pm that store closes at 9:00pm and every 3 minutes she continued with her mission. She puts so much pression on the customers. Then she had the nerve to questioned me if all products have been passed thought the automatic cashier and I demanded that she check them all! She didn't off course. Management should review the quality of persons; these Security people is VERY RUDE and affect the clientele. I will continue to buy here but will never come at night while you still employ this Security lady.

New Aldi by South Dixie Highway near Douglas Road. Almost directly across from the also, fresh Milam's Market. This is a very spacious Aldi giving you elbow and breathing room when shopping in a crowded environment. The items are the great usuals we love from them but with a bit more room in the shelves. The parking is nice with artwork coming from the surrounding buildings and although the limited spaces suffices right now, I don't think it will once the store's traction picks up some pace. Overall, great-looking shop as per usual. No complaints. Good shopping experience with both ways to purchase your goods be it through the assistance of a cashier or self-checkout.

Google
Best prices around! There's also extra parking on the second level if the parking garage is filled up on the first floor. There's an elevator to bring your cart up to your car after checking out.

Google
Love Aldi, but this one is just cray cray. It’s like stepping back into 2020 during the height of COVID, so many things out of stock, organic produce is often moldy. Staff is rude except for one nice cashier… just feels like they think they’re doing you a favor with the low prices, so they can get away with treating you like crap. The parking garage is so crazy, I have seen cars jammed into a wall and they couldn’t back out or leave the vehicle. My guess is that Aldi is also a horrible place to work for, so I feel bad for employees. Some of them are downright militant. There’s always tons of loose onions so I assumed that you can buy them individually… you know like everywhere else on the planet when they are sold by the pound. I had an onion and as I was scanning my items the manager grabs my onion and says “You can’t buy this by itself…” and throws it in the trash bin and walks away. Seriously that’s unacceptable… go get me a bag of onions then. Such a horrible store.

**1 star** Witnessed a customer being racially profiled by security at this location. An older Hispanic female security guard was hovering over a Black customer, making false accusations about not counting items properly at checkout. The customer asked her to verify the count and she was completely wrong. Her excuse was "you rang them up too fast." The customer got so frustrated they left their entire cart and walked out. This happened in Coconut Grove and Aldi should do a better job training their security staff. No one should be treated like that while shopping. Management needs to address this discriminatory behavior.

Google
Absolutely pathetic. Imagine working a dead-end job just to go on an ego trip over a shopping cart. I had $160 worth of groceries, and instead of just letting me use the cart that another customer had left behind—because, you know, basic common sense—this balding, miserable, power-tripping excuse for an employee decided to enforce the dumbest rule imaginable. As if denying me a cart somehow justifies their existence. It’s honestly sad. Do they not pay these people enough to just do their jobs properly instead of making life harder for paying customers? The sheer pettiness over something so trivial yet completely necessary left a bad taste in my mouth—worse than any expired produce they probably stock. Next time, train your staff to be useful instead of compensating for their personal failures by making customers suffer. Would give negative stars if I could. And then there's the security guard—if you can even call him that. Another low-life joke who walks around like he’s some top-tier enforcer when in reality, he wouldn’t last two seconds if anything real went down. The guy’s on a full-blown ego trip, acting like he’s guarding Fort Knox, when in reality, he’s just standing around pretending to be important while hassling actual paying customers. Dude, relax. You’re not a cop, you’re not intimidating, and honestly, you could get taken down way too easily for someone who thinks they run the place. Maybe instead of peacocking around like an overpaid mall cop, focus on something that actually matters—if you can figure out what that is with the IQ of a folding chair.

Yelp
Very nice Aldi. The shelves were full. There's covered parking. Lots of self checkout and line was pretty long.

Yelp
New management could take the shopping experience at this location from borderline acceptable to above-and-beyond! I feel there are many people in our neighborhood who want nothing more than to have a great grocery store in this spot. A previous review was accurate to describe employees' attitude as "I don't want to be here." I cannot disagree. At the end of the day, it IS an Aldi and there's a lot that's good about this brand. The prices can't be beat and I truly enjoy the "here today, gone tomorrow" section. I do wish produce wasn't mostly by bulk but I realize that's a corporate thing. Going back to my opening statement... get new management and this location could be great!

Yelp
Okay, so I went to Aldi on Sunday 7/7/24 and wow it's bad customer service. It was my first time going to this specific location. So you know I needed orientation. The workers are few and they run from you. The only one who helped me was Victoria. She showed a few cart items. Anyway, I hope they step it up with hiring more employees because Aldi has a good reputation of low prices. But service is extremely important in any company. Please step it up and get Impossible and Beyond!

Yelp
I do not like to give bad reviews. However the new Aldi in Coconut Grove is a travesty and a sham. I'll get right to it: 1.Employee was using a LEAF BLOWER INSIDE THE MARKET, presumably instead of sweeping the floors. So customers, without proper ventilation, have not only the annoyance of the loud sound, they also get to breathe the airborne blown dust and dirt. And then the produce and anything in the market also gets to enjoy the fine particulate matter. I have never seen a leaf blower used in a supermarket. Which side of stupid had that bright idea? 2. Huge interior, massive store space wasted with a limited, strange array of products, . 3. Unsanitary 4. Parking structure poorly designed; size for cars is very tight; in the first row (when driving in from Douglas), no through way at end of that parking aisle. so if no available spots, driver must drive in reverse to exit the row! Why? because it is too narrow to turn around and end of row has to egress. "Worst parking lot design award" nominee? Parking lot is not the fault of the market, just a consideration when coming here. But don't come here. Unless you're coming to the Starbucks. And good luck with parking for them. Fortunately this location has a drive through. Aldi's is little more than a bad joke. Worse grocery I've been to in Miami. Coconut Grove deserves better.

Yelp
I'm shopped at Aldi's from Southern California to the east coast including Miami, and a I can honestly say that Coconut Grove Aldi is"Top Notch ". There are few markets in our country that offer discount prices at quality food items. The only reason I don't give Aldi 5 stars is because they don't offer Kobi steak and fresh lobster. Aldi gets a Solid 4.5 *****

Yelp
Last two times I have purchased cold cuts half of the 1-pound package of cold cuts had gone bad way before the expiration date. This has also happened with the frozen fish that was bad the day after I purchased it and had wanted to cook it. Also, no water comes out of the faucet in the women's bathroom and parking is always a challenge. Yesterday I found that a big truck had parked so I could not get back into my car to leave. Overall this store needs alot of imrovement. (15033 S Dixie Hwy, Palmetto Bay, FL 33176)

Yelp
Do not feel safe here, especially arriving by bike. Could not even use the bike rack as it was completely occupied by bodies. Seems to be outside commerce going on. Store is highly disorganized with a general "I don't wanna be here" attitude from employees. Difficult to believe this is an ALDIs. Even on bike, I'd rather ride the 9 miles to the Kendall Dr Aldi than go to this much closer location

Yelp
Everything is SO affordable, very delicious, clean atmosphere, and I love the cart system! I love the appreciation and responsibility aspect of using your own quarter to get a cart and having to return it. My favorite place to shop. Love love love

Yelp
What a brilliant design to place an ALDI supermarket on the bottom floor of a new apartment community! As a someone who happens to live in the community, the benefit of having a supermarket just an elevator ride away couldn't be more convenient! Aldi's are known for their competitive pricing and great deals, and this location is no exception. This particular Aldi is clean and well organized. I am particularly fond of the, "Here today, gone tomorrow" section. I look forward to the new surprises stocked every couple of weeks. I've gotten incredible deals on plants and storage solutions as a result. While, they may not have everything I need, every time I need it, it couldn't be more convenient. There are number of self check-out stations. However, it's confusing as it is not organized. Perhaps marked lines might alleviate some of the confusion. I believe there's an opportunity to enhance the shopping experience further by focusing on strengthening the customer service aspect. Enhancing staff training and engagement could significantly elevate the overall customer satisfaction and make every shopping trip even more enjoyable.

Yelp
Cleanest Aldi I've been to in all of SOFLO. Great prices of course. This is my go to supermarket because of the prices lol duh. Produce tho? Can't get everything from here. Trader Joe's is up the street better luck there but still the best Aldi I've been too here.

Yelp
I love Aldi and I am so happy I have the newest in Coral Gables Fl, however it is the most desorganizad one I have ever been. Some of the sections are so mixed up, soaps with food, cleaning stuff with sauces and other type of food. In the produce section there is so much rotten fruits and veggies. I am so disappointed with my Aldi at Coral Gables I hope the manager eventually will have all the sections well organized. Next time I will tale pictures to share.
