"Aldine, a Rittenhouse restaurant opened by George Sabatino in 2014, was kept by Jennifer Conley Sabatino after their split. The city closed it in April due to unpaid taxes. Helm is relocating from Pennsport and moving into Aldine’s former space." - Rachel Vigoda

The Sunday night prix fixe menu is an amazing deal. I loved the house made chicharrones with delicate, but rich, chicken liver mousse. My partner enjoyed the charred broccoli. That evening, the fish entree was skate wing, and it was prepared so that it had a smoky, savory flavor that made it seem almost meat-like. Panna cotta with granola was a perfect end to the meal. I will definitely return on a Sunday evening. It was fairly quiet on that Sunday in October.

Excellent food. Slightly different twist to high end American cuisine but definitely worth it. The presentation and service are top notch.

Tasty tapas style dish and thoughtful menu in pleasing dark wood room upstairs in up and coming Rittenhouse Square. Try it you won't regret it.

Came here on restaurant week. They are not cheaping out the menu. The hot cauliflower soup is on point, flavorable and the beef is very tender. Not a big fan of chocolate cake but I will definitely suggest the Pena cada. Rumor said the chef might be leaving the restaurant soon so hopefully the quality of food can be sustained

Amazing cocktails and food. Service was incredible and I can't stop raving about the food to everyone. The mussels and the chicken liver mousse were my favorite. George Sabatino takes the usual fare and combines extraordinary flavors like no one else. My new favorite place!

Fabulous experience! Everything top notch from setting to service to food. Not your run of the mill offerings here! We came early to enjoy one of the creative cocktails, which didn't disappoint. We started with a stunning corn custard that was even tastier than it was beautiful and a cantaloupe soup that was just as impressive. Next was an heirloom tomato dish and a roasted carrot dish with among other spectacular additions were pickled golden raisins. The dishes are all works of art both visually and with the use of all the imaginative and on point elements in each dish. For the main entree we had the pork dish with corn pudding and blackberry mustard...perfectly tender and scrumcious. Each element of the dish complimented the other and added to the dish as a whole. Even after all that we still had to sample dessert and wrapped up dinner with a ginger panna cotta with fresh blackberry jam. It was superb, just the right kiss of ginger to the creamy custard perfectly complimented by the blackberry. And we noted that we left full and satisfied but not overly stuffed...the dishes were perfectly sized so that you could enjoy all three courses easily. We chose to each get a different item for the first two courses so we could sample more dishes, which was a wonderful strategy. This was a foodies dream experience and i can't recommend it more!!
