The atmosphere is great! Very packed when we went on a Saturday night around 7. It got extremely busy and after we ordered our appetizer &!drinks… we received our three kinds of bread… 2 large dinner rolls, warmed, no butter (we had to ask for it) bread was cold by the time we got it! The cheesy bread & bruschetta was delicious! We ordered an appetizer, which was amazing, a special with Baratta, tomato, roasted red peppers, prosciutto ,, arugula with a balsamic vinaigrette drizzle was amazing!! I spilled my drink, no one assisted me cleaning it up even though I moved my seat.. I finally asked another waiter to get our waitress. She came over & even though we were already finished with our appetizer she never took of dinner order. They did get extremely busy but even when she dropped the appetizer off, she didn’t ask if we were ready to order. I ordered chicken Margarita & my BF ordered Chicken Fioretine & we each ordered the pasta as a side. My chicken had no tastes so I switched with my BF.. his was delicious!!! The sauce in the side of pasta tasted as if it was right out of a can of tomatoes paste! Terrible!! We the. Ordered a Tiramisu to go.. later on that night we opened it & it was some kind of cinnamon whipped cream dessert! So disappointing!!

Google
I have been a customer of both the Brick House and Aldo’s in Wykoff. Aldo’s is a great restaurant. Same with the Brick House. The service, atmosphere and food is excellent all the time. The restaurant staff go the extra mile to ensure guests are always satisfied. Aldo is truly a class act. Not many owners go out of their way to interact with the customers. Great guy!

Google
Very good food, excellent service, the wait staff treats you like a friend not a customer, which makes for awesome atmosphere. I've had a few misses for some entrees, but overall 4 stars on the food. One caveat - we have ordered takeout a few times and they have missed items repeatedly. At this point I will never order takeout there which is a shame but I do come back for in person dining at the bar (Pane ) and restaurant (Aldo's)

Google
Had my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary here and everything was perfect. From beginning to end the staff was awesome and so accommodating! The food was scrumptious and you can BYOB! Definitely recommend!

Google
Great food but Extremely rude waiter gets you one star. Messed up appetizers then one meal out of 7 came out when most of us were almost finished. No apologies, no compensation offered. Totally inexcusable.

Food is perfect. Atmosphere is so nice. Wonderful place to go to for a special occasion.

Yelp
The food is excellent and the staff friendly. I often go for dinner twice the same week when in town. It is not a fine dining experience but great Italian meals at reasonable prices.

Yelp
came here for a birthday party. was not impressed with this spot. staff is nice but somewhat disregards your requests. drinks were forgotten multiple times & they do not stray from the menu, which I just can't understand, especially when you have all of the ingredients to make what's being requested. i could see if you were asking for something crazy like sushi in an italian restaurant.. but I really wanted a chicken scampi over pasta. I was told they will not make it. I had to ask a 2nd and 3rd time for the waiter to just ask the chef as they had several dishes that had all ingredients available. I was told " we can give you a chicken masala " .. I just don't understand, it's an italian restaurant that is unable to make an italian dish, and of all things something so simple as a scampi sauce lol?.. I settled for chicken aldo, as it was quite similar to my request... which was a garlic oil wine sauce with mushrooms over chicken. they gave me hardly any pasta with my dinner, and a two THICK chicken breast. the mushrooms were not great and looked like they came from a can. I was quite turned off. one of the people in my party ordered a similar dish.. she was given a salad, I asked the waitress " why does that meal come with salad but mine does not?" being that they were from the same menu section ..the waiter responded " because I messed up " .. and then just stared at me for about 10 seconds and walked away. You would think, she would have said " I made an error, would you like one too?" nope just gave me an unsettling stare. then when our food came, I was give the smallest amount of pasta, seemed to be just me though..very disappointing. the sauce was not bad I must say, but the thickness of the chicken was a lot,. the dessert was better, I got the pistachio tartufo which tasted just like an almond bar! 20/10 it was the best part of the meal.

Yelp
Disappointed to say the least. I've heard raving reviews about this place and the food was good, however, they took forever to bring us out our meal and the server didn't check on us once. He came to drop off the food, left, and we didn't see him until we had to yell for his attention to get the check. Maybe it's different now just dissapointed

Yelp
Pretty much what you would expect from an Italian restaurant in the area. Signature staple dishes on the menu with average taste. It won't knock your socks off, but if you're looking to add a new place into the rotation, give it a shot!

Darren D.

Yelp
Nice cozy place, wine was good, calamari was good, salmon oregano was a little mushy but taste good, the chicken Marsala was NOT good, I did not taste any Marsala wine in it and was filled with I believe beef broth and had huge onion slices with mushroom caps, it taste like onion soup, very odd and disappointing, they need to seriously fix this dish. I cant see how anyone could call this chicken Marsala.

Yelp
This is a large Italian restaurant that has been serving classic Italian fare in an elegant space for over 30 years. The menu features a wide variety of Italian dishes, including homemade pastas, seafood, and meat dishes. Some popular items include the spaghetti carbonara, the veal marsala, and the Chilean sea bass. Aldo's also has a full bar with a wide selection of wines and cocktails. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant, which was full when we arrived, therefore, I had to park on the side street behind the restaurant. This was my first time here for lunch. I was here with family and friends for an engagement party downstairs in the basement where all of the wines are stored on the walls. Looks like they offer a large variety of wines. The two rooms were openly connected. About 65 people attended the party. They served many appetizers including calamari, stuffed mushrooms, clams, eggplant, and pasta. I ordered shrimp provencal for my main course, which I could not eat because I ate too many appetizers. I took it home for leftovers. The appetizers were so good. Every dish was served hot and tasted great. Table service was very good for such a large party. I would return here again for lunch or dinner.

Yelp
Cute spot - we came here for lunch! We live nearby and have been wanting to try this place. Sat at the bar table area which is a bit more casual than the dining room. Service was lovely and the menu offers a lot! I love that they have a full bar. Had chicken Francese and it was delicious - big portions so brought half home. Had a couple mimosas which definitely hit the spot. We would definitely go back!

Joseph A.

Yelp
Atmosphere is very nice and service was good. Food was just ok. Clam sauce had way too much garlic. So much that my wife picked it out for 5 minutes and created a pile on a side plate but there was still more. I guess some people like that much garlic. The orecchiette pasta was Over cooked. I can see the attraction, but we won't be back.
google avatar

Eli D.

Yelp
Awesome service! Good food! The bartender Darci gets 10/10 for the ability to eke excellent drinks and 10/10 for personality! Def coming back soon

Angela L.

Yelp
Atmosphere was great! Service was ok. I spilled my drink & told another waiter because I didn't see our waitress.... She eventually came & we did already have the appetizer, which was delicious. It was a special with Barrata, prosciutto, tomato, roasted red peppers, arugula drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. We were done with it & she still didn't take our order! I ordered the Margarita chicken & I didn't think it had any flavor so I took my BF's chicken Fiorentine & it was so delicious!!! Basically the service needs improvement & choose wisely in the dinners. The red sauce that came on the side order of pasta tasted just as if I opened an can of tomato pasta- no flavor

Yelp
Came here for an early Saturday night dinner with my cousins from overseas and we were excited since we had frequently dined at Aldo's. Granted we hadn't gone since pre-covid, our experience was terrible. The chicken Francese that was served was awful...chicken Francese should be a butter sauce not watered down vodka sauce. The chicken parm lacked taste and flavor. Not only was the food bad, the staff was extremely rude. Definitely will not be returning ever again.
google avatar

Yelp
Overpriced and not very good what I had. Chicken francese was tough and not served with pasta as like in most Italian restaurants.

Yelp
Wanted some good Italian while traveling north, and Aldo's did not disappoint. This was just a 15m adjustment from our trip up north, but was well worth it. Excellent location and unique setting that makes you feel like you've returned to grandmas house for dinner. We visited mid-afternoon, so it wasn't busy and there was plenty of parking. Our waiter was top notch, and even the cook came out to ask how our meals were. Everything we had was exceptional, including tomatoes with fresh mozzarella. Lobster ravioli was velvety. You can tell they use a top notch Parmesan here, or perhaps Pecorino Romano. Will definitely be back again

Yelp
Who adds marinara to cavatelli and broccoli? This place does- ruined a simple and classic dish. Salad with more grated cheese than dressing and food took forever lastly - vermouth in a dirty martini? Burger King would have been a better option not the first time giving this place a try but definitely the last.

Yelp
Love this place - been going here since the early 90's! This place has good service, is a BYO, and has a great menu reasonably priced! They start you out with real good bread & a complimentary bruschetta & melted cheee on bread - soooo good! Recently we enjoyed Zuppa de clams in a tasty tomato sauce & mozzarella, tomato, & prosciutto app - both of them were very large & excellent! For entree's I always get pasta. I love the vodka sauce here & this time I got rigatoni bolognese - delish & again - a very large order. Such a great place!!

Yelp
I haven't been here in a long time and have to say the entire experience was tired and a bit dates. The food was ok but the place needs an update.

Yelp
My wife and I recently dined at Aldo's, a restaurant we have been loyal patrons of for years. While we have always considered it an outstanding establishment, I must express my disappointment with the recent decline in service at the bar during our last three visits. Specifically, one of the bartenders displayed unprofessional behavior that greatly impacted our experience. The service we received was subpar, to the point where the bartender even questioned my decision to leave a 10% tip, which is something I have never done before. This incident left me feeling dissatisfied and compelled to address the matter with the management. However, I want to emphasize that the issue lies solely with the service at the bar, as the rest of the restaurant, including the tables, continues to be excellent. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this matter further with the management, as I believe it is important for them to be aware of the decline in service quality at the bar. I remain a loyal customer and hope that this issue can be resolved, allowing Aldo's to continue providing the exceptional dining experience we have come to expect. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, S

Yelp
First time coming here and the food was amazing!!!! The service was a little slow but it was worth the wait

Yelp
Foods pretty good prices are outrageous! Dinning prices in general nowadays at any restaurant are outrageous but Aldo's is abusive. It's too bad!

Yelp
Really disappointed primarily with the service at the restaurant. I have come here before and have had a good experience, but this time was not as good. Waitress seemed to be extremely bothered by us and acted annoyed every time we asked for something and wouldn't check on us. It was strange because she was pleasant to everyone else she was serving in her station. My family and I are extremely respectful at restaurants and we were all shocked to see the attitude that was given to us. There didn't seem to be any reason for it. Most of the food was good, but my mom did have a hair in her salad which skeeved her and she lost her appetite. I am generally very happy with the restaurants I choose to eat at but this was just not a great experience unfortunately

Dawn M.

Yelp
On a positive note, the atmosphere and service deserve more than two stars, but the food is so sub par that it greatly drags down the rating. The first visiting there in a few years we had the string bean salad, stuffed mushrooms, and house salad. The salads are generous portions and fresh, but taste like NOTHING. My partner agreed with me. I couldn't add enough salt, then I tried vinegar but nothing helped. The stuffed mushrooms also tasted like nothing. I thought I must have a problem with my taste like nothing. It was odd, but we decided to give it another try a few weeks later since the location is convenient. We shared a house salad which was fresh but the dressing tasted like NOTHING. Tomatoes flavorless. Chicken parm lacked flavor as well, cheese was barely melted, and the chicken was too thick and tough. I will not be giving it a third try. I would say the food at a pizzeria take-out place would be superior to the food Aldo's serves.

Anthony F.

Yelp
Aldo's is a wonderful family restaurant. Very good food, some items are rustic Italian recipes that you do not ordinarily see. Brings back many Childhood memories. Service is both friendly and yet professional. Aldo himself is very friendly and hospitable host who always make his clientele comfortable. The restaurant has a well appointed peaceful well thought out design and a cool color palette. I said that it a wonderful family restaurant, but if your looking for hot dogs, burgers, and nachos this is not the place for you. This is a place for couples and adults on date nights. We never took our children to fast food or pub type restaurants.

Yelp
Cook outta be shot...send back not one but two dishes do not recommend place is a joke

Yelp
Amazing food and great service! Food came out quickly and enjoyed every bite. My boyfriend and I ordered clams oreganata for an appetizer and it was so delicious. For entrees, I ordered the chicken Murphy with a side of spaghetti in vodka sauce and my boyfriend ordered salmon with a side of spaghetti in garlic and oil. We enjoyed both meals and wrapped up to go since the entrees were huge. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Really one of the better Italian places around ! Every time I have gone here or gotten food to go it was wonderful . The service is great and the food is delicious ! I love the little bruschetta they start your table off with ! Their salads are always fresh and not drenched in dressing . The pasta is always on point. The prices are a bit up there but well worth it !

Kristina C.

Yelp
Went here for dinner yesterday to catch up with a friend. Wonderful service, excellent drinks. Salad was just right, not soggy with dressing. Did not know what the Chicken Shrimp Monte Carlo was, but so glad I ordered it! Perfectly cooked, mushrooms melted in your mouth, terrific sauce that did not overwhelm the plate. Topped off with a yummy tiramisu. Grazie!

Yelp
So, normally I don't write a review for a restaurant but I just have to put this out there. My husband, twins, and mother in law went here tonight. We had made a reservation and were excited to dine. Unfortunately, we were brought back outside, upon going in to check in, because there were no available seats inside. Little did I know that we would be put in the outside tent. Now at first, I thought how cute it was, but then I was bummed that we didn't get to have the experience Of being in the restaurant, like we normally do. Covid has gotten in the way of everyone and their dining excursions, so was really looking forward to this one. I tried to be understanding, as I always try to be, and I reminded myself that we are in a different time right now. In any sense, as soon as we sat down, I could feel the cold draft on my feet. Probably not the best time to wear my shoes, sans socks, but how was I to know that I'd be sitting in an outside tent that clearly didn't have the heat situation in tact?! So I did what I thought appropriate, and I told the maitrê d. His response was one of no care and he told me that there wasn't anything that he could do. So now we're two for two. What would follow would be a salad that had, I kid you not, no dressing on it. Even my mother in law commented. We then waited for our dinner, which felt like an eternity. You could figure why. It took TWO hours from when we sat down to finally get our dinner. My twins were so tired soon before our food came out that they weren't even hungry anymore. We figured it would be best if we got the waiter and told him not to bother with their orders, only no waiters were to be found and by the time they came out they were bringing our food. To top it off I waited for the silverware and no one was around to bring it to me so I started to eat my delicious shrimp dish with my fingers... This night was such a disappointment. You'd like to believe that when you spend three hundred dollars on a meal, that you'll have a great experience. The kicker? We were so disappointed with the progression of the night, that I asked to speak to the manager. As a business owner, client feedback is imperative to me staying on my a-game and I would hope a restaurant owner would want the same. His response? I'm so sorry and I wish you told me sooner. That's it..... As a person that always wants people to be happy with their services, I would have offered SOMETHING. His comment of not being able to do a thing was not what I expected. All in all, great food but I think that until I get this bad taste out of my mouth, we will not be dropping a few hundred dollars for this type of night. Disappointments across the board, unfortunately.

David A.

Yelp
I felt compelled to write a review because i had high hopes for a place so many love. And we liked the Brick House, Aldo's other place, the one time we were there. The place was packed which made me think it was because of the food. And so many dishes "looked good". Such a friendly atmosphere and service too. Bruschetta and cheese-toasted bread was a nice touch. I didnt want to splurge on the $55 Veal Chop so went with the standard Veal Parmigiana as my usual "test". Veal quality and sauce seemed just ok. My friend's Chicken Marsala also OK. Fried Calamari was good. A decent evening with friends but we will dine at much better choices in the future (I realize we're in the minority with our review).

Dolores S.

Yelp
My family took me to Aldo's for my birthday. There we're 9 of us. My husband & I arrived first and the very nice receptionist told us to go downstairs. There was a rather large long table set up for a party in the wine room and several round tables in another room. A waiter showed up and told us our table was one of the round ones. The room was very untidy. The rugs were full of crumbs & food particles. It was not at all what we expected from Aldo's. My husband asked a man who finally appeared that we preferred to dine upstairs since the room had not been cleaned up. He acted very annoyed and brought us upstairs and seated us in one of the dining rooms which by the way was not full! When our family arrived the waiter came over to take care of us but was not very welcoming either. My son's spent over $400 for our dinners. Not sure I plan on every going back. I will say the food was good but I question the service which today should be a top priority!

Shawne S.

Yelp
I'm disappointed that my meal was cold . I mentioned it was my friends birthday and nothing when we had dessert.... Idk

Yelp
I was here as part of a party of roughly 20 people. The short version: the food was excellent, the service was poor. The long version: Our party shared 4 or 5 appetizers (multiple servings of each). I could not stop eating the cheesy potato croquettes. They truly hit the spot. The eggplant rollatini was spot on, as was the calamari. I did not even bother with the sauce for the calamari! The appetizers were rounded out with cheesy bread (it was bread with cheese, the end) and mozzarella with tomato and basil (again, standard). After apps though, the service majorly slowed down. It took a very long time just for our orders to get taken. Felt like an hour, although I do not know the exact time. Even after our orders were taken, we still waited an extraordinary amount of time to get our food. We also had to get up and pour our own wine. Don't get me wrong, I do not care about pouring my own wine...if the bottles are on the table. But if you decide to put all the bottles on a separate table from all of us, you have to keep the pours coming! My wife and I split an entree, sausage giambotta. It was great! A nice combo of flavors, particularly the peppers. While I wanted dessert too, I just had no hunger left (and the baby had to leave, they have a timer you know!). Maybe I will try Aldo's again at a less busy time but I will not choose to come by again at a prime dining time.

Sunny C.

Yelp
It's a real shame that almost all of the servers at this place are unfriendly, leaving only a small handful that seem remotely decent. The service, overall, is just terrible. It's really disappointing to see this place go downhill after we've been loyal customers for years. To make matters worse, the female bartenders are not only unfriendly but also completely unprofessional. They have no problem chowing down on their own meals while completely ignoring the patrons who are desperately trying to get their attention. Honestly, it's time to move on from this place.

Yelp
Dined at Aldo's 2 months ago. The experience was okay, not terrible. But tonight we tried it again and we were very disappointed. Sadly, we got the same waitress who looks like she might be happier sitting in a dentist's chair. We arrived at 5:30 and were seated right away. Waitress stopped by 15 minutes later to take our order. Never heard from her again despite passing our table at least 10 times. The assistant did all the work between clearing and setting tables along with serving us. Finally flagged our waitress down to get the check. That activity took 7 minutes alone. Food review: clams oreganato appy was undercooked, pork chop special was very salty, chicken campagnola was a spicy mixed bag. Wondering if anyone in the kitchen quality checks? Won't be back to Aldo's.

Andrea G.

Yelp
We have dined at Aldo's since it was a store front located on Franklin Ave in Wyckoff. It was great back then. We've tried it a few times in its new location, but we weren't thrilled with the service or food. We thought we'd give it another chance last Friday and if anything things have gotten worse. I called to make reservations for a party of four, and was abruptly told, "First come ,first served." I had never heard of there being no reservations for four, but just decided to go early. Upon entering, I stopped to ask for a table, but was ignored. We finally were seated and were served bruschetta and cheese bread. Both were great and the reason for one of the stars. We were handed one menu of the specials of the day, that we had to take turns looking at. The choices were limited and there were no prices listed! The entrees we had were tripe, salmon, flounder francese ($35), and chicken piccata (a special). The flounder looked unusual when it was served, but I had a few bites. It was horrible. I should have sent it back. Our friend's chicken piccata was also terrible. The salmon and tripe were good (star number two). No one came to offer cheese, or ask how our food was. When I tried to tell the waiter I was unhappy with my meal, he just grunted and walked away. I ended up throwing it out joining my friend's chicken. This was a disappointing experience and we will not be returning. What a waste.

Yelp
Recently came to the Resturant! Food was so delicious , love the cheese bread and the entrees were awesome. I I had the Samon dish and my bf had the veal Milanese the atmosphere is upscale but not stuffy . Great large bar area ! Service was great too ! Great for romantic dinners or family gatherings !! We will be back

Bonnie K.

Yelp
Resteurant is nice. Food is good and too salty at times. The minority owner , Aldo, does not appear to appreciate business. I have never seen the majority owner, Sanzari, on the premises. The biggest drawback is the staff. All are too comfortable without Sanzari around and treat customers that way.
google avatar

Colleen K.

Yelp
Giving 2 stars because the food was quite good but the service was beyond disappointing. Due to pandemic seating, the hostess station is apparently on one side of the building. I say apparently because I never actually saw the hostess station. I foolishly walked into the restaurant (like any diner would) and was scolded by at least 3 servers who angrily told me to go to thy mythical hostess station without telling me where it was. I finally sat in one of the many empty tables and was scolded again for sitting down. Seriously? And, brace yourself, cigar smoking is allowed so you get to endure rude wait staff and smelly cigars. The food quality doesn't overcome these deficients. Look elsewhere for good food and decent service, in other words, find a proper restaurant.

Jonathan G.

Yelp
We went to Aldo's 2x in the last month. More out of convenience than anything else. The 2 stars that I am giving Aldo's are the result of the average rating between those 2 visits - 4 stars for the first visit and negative 1 stars for the second visit. I rounded up. The first time we went there we had a decent time. There was a wedding celebration going on so we appreciated the service given that they were short staffed. The second time, we walked in and asked if we could have a table outside. As the host was discussing with one of the servers where they would put us, a stumpy little woman in a red dress walked into the restaurant, maskless, and declared, "there are no tables available." "There aren't?", we asked? "It sounded like they were just discuss-" "Discussing what?! Like I said... there are no tables available." I've been a lot of places and not been able to get a table because they were super busy. I am perfectly fine with not being able to get a table (even though this place and their mediocre food were not all that busy). My issue is that her general attitude was awful. That is no way to talk to customers - not at Eleven Madison Park, not at McDonald's, and not at a dinky little Italian spot in podunk New Jersey. Honestly it was despicable. Anyway, if they fix that problem they will do OK. Good day.

Yelp
Quality, service and value make Aldo's a must visit. Old school charm with great traditional Italian menu.

Yelp
We have been going to Aldo's for special family gatherings and celebrations since 1983. The food is delicious! The service is fantastic and they are warm and caring owners. They always go the extra mile to make sure we receive outstanding service. It's a special place!

Yelp
After the worse experience of our lives at Brady's in Ramsey - DO NOT GO THERE , IT'S DISGUSTING! - we quickly came over to Aldo's Restaurant. This is our second time here but first time reviewing and this is what we had: 1. Calamari - crispy and non oily - a treat 2. Perciatelli all'Amatrician - a Roman classic and one of our favorite dishes 3. Veal Francese - the sauce was a little cumple but the flavor spot on They started us off with some bruschetta and of course a cold bottle of Pellegrino. Will definitely be back!

Aldo's is absolutely delicious restaurant. After placing your drink order the server brings out bruschetta and a cheese bread that tastes like a cheez-its. I ordered the house salad to start and the Penne alla Norma for dinner. The house salad dressing is what makes the salad. If they bottled the dressing and sold it, I would be the first to purchase it. The Penne alla Norma was so good and a great option for vegetarians. The sautéed eggplant was sweet and tasty and the tomato sauce that was tossed with the Penne was a sweet and savory sauce. The portion was more than enough, I brought half of it home. I also tried the Rigatoni alla Vodka. The pink cream sauce was rich and smooth. I would recommend either of these pasta dishes if you are not sure what to pick on the menu. Overall I give Aldo's a 5/5 for friendly staff, portion size, gluten-free options and staff.

Yelp
This restaurant needs to close...everyone needs to go to culinary and hospitality school...then they need to open under a new name with a brand new ungrumpfied waitress...our dining experience was below zero!

Yelp
BEWARE when you order online. I ordered a half tray of chicken Francese and literately got 3 large chicken breasts cut in half making it 6 small pieces. I have NEVER gotten such a small amount of food in a half tray from any other restaurant. I always understood that a half tray would serve 8-10 people. I barely fed 6 people with Aldo's half tray. I did call the restaurant to voice my concern but of course the gentleman I talked to didn't want to hear it & blamed me for not calling first to make sure I was ordering the right amount of food. Chicken was good but I definitely was taken advantage of because of my take out order.

Yelp
I was invited here for the end of the year party with my co-workers. Restaurant has the beautiful setting and we had big round table downstairs. It was very special and intimate, on the floor with us were few more parties going on at the same time, but it were no other people walking around or bothering us, every table had their own space for the celebration. We had fried calamari for the appetizer and I got homemade pasta. We all were very satisfied with the over all service and food quality.

Yelp
Hands down one of the BEST Italian restaurants in north Jersey, and absolutely one of the nicest restaurants I've been to. The wait staff is professional, and knowledgeable in all areas of Italian cuisine and fine wines. The food is delicious and fresh. You can bring your own wine but they do have a fully stocked (and brand new) bar. The cheesy bread and bruschetta is so good. Penne alla vodka is my go to. My fiancée loves the tortellini con panna, and veal rollitini, he can also attest that the manicotti is amazing. He's tried almost the whole menu while I stick to what I know & love.

Yelp
Food is great! We love most everything on the Menu, also they will give you bruschetta as a house appetizer. We like to sit In room with the bar or outdoors weather permitting.. occasionally we like to go just for a cocktail and a bar pizza at the bar. The only thing is the Bartenders are the absolute worst! They ignore you and never smile, they are literally mean! (2 females) . So one night (a Friday night ) we were the first a drink and bar pie. We were enjoying our date and were talking with some other girls at the bar. One of the girls was waiting for a date ( someone she met online) Her friends had to leave but we stayed with her so she wouldn't be alone. Well it was 9:45 and there were probably 9-10 people at the bar. Not busy or empty. Well the Bartenders were cleaning up and actually at 9:55 a older couple walked in and the bartender said " were closing " and wouldn't let them stay and locked the door so no one else could come in. The girl waiting for her date was like "really ? I'm waiting for someone" they did let him in and told him they would only give him 1 quick drink. My date and I didn't say anything just decided to pay and leave but outrageous that they literally closed the TV's shut off music all by 10:00 on a Friday night. Does the owner know ? I can see if it was empty but it wasn't ! They we so extremely rude we haven't gone back in 3-4 months because they were so nasty! I think it's time for people who hate their job to Quit don't make everyone else miserable ! So I would say Don't go here for a cocktail ! Go to Bluemoon or theBrickhouse where they are welcoming !
