Pros: The decor is very interesting, and the atmosphere is nice. Great deals for daily specials and happy hours. Some of the drinks are quite tasty. The bread pudding is delicious, very sweet and more than satisfying. Our first impression at Ale Mary's was wonderful, and we returned multiple times. Cons: Our last few visits, the food and drinks were rather hit or miss. e.g. We were told on one occasion that all crushes come with cream (which was a bit odd, but fine). On another day, the lime crush seemed like 85% water, 14% sprite, and 1% alcohol. The quality of the hot food seems to have gone down and could really use salt/seasoning. Previously the service was lovely, albeit a tad cliquish as another reviewer mentions. However, on our last visit we encountered a rude bartender that soured the experience for good... unfortunately will not be returning. No hate to the owners, who seem nice and clearly put effort into running this establishment.

Lived 2 blocks away for almost 2 years, always wanted to visit but never found the right time. Finally got a chance to visit and we’re happy we did! Really friendly staff and great atmosphere. You would never know from the street how spacious it is on the inside but we did decide to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Food was great and reasonably priced considering the location and quality. Bread pudding for dessert was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint, really delicious. Definitely recommend stopping in for a drink or some grub.

Google
Ale Mary is a great local bar, but also a great restaurant. The food is wonderful. Service is spot-on. I'd come back here any time I was in town. They were recently featured on The Travel Channel's "Great Places to Pig-Out." French Onion soup is fantastic. The crab soup is wonderful. Steve is a great bartender.

Google
Steak special was good. Small divey bar with decent drinks. Would like to try more.

Google
Great little bar with some wonderful food options. The people here are super nice and went out of their way to support our large group.

Came by for lunch. I had heard good things about the burger and those things were spot on. Cooked perfectly. I got tots instead of chips. Bartender was very nice. Also met some other regulars who thought I should have kids. All in all, a great lunch at a great spot and I'm glad the new owners aren't making that many drastic changes. I want to come back for brunch.

Google
Our new favorite spot! And a neighborhood fav as well apparently bc we met a few people who live nearby and raved about Ale Mary's (a few pups too). The staff is great, the menu is quality, and the drafts are crisp and delish. I had the crab cake and it was 10/10. A little spicy, which I loved, but just fyi for those who don't like spice. Can't wait to checkout their weekday specials!

Google
Had a disappointing dinner at a "restaurant" nearby, so we swung into Ale Mary's to get dinner, round 2. This place turned our ruined evening into a great evening! The servers are attentive and very friendly (shout-out to Mason!). The food is very good and the specials are really great ($15 bottles of house wine on Tuesdays and Thursdays; would recommend the Cabernet Sauvignon). Very reasonably priced non-specials as well. We will be back often!

Yelp
A great place to grab a casual dinner with friends. Last time I went was their Thursday night steak dinner special - for $18 including sides, I was very happy, it was delicious. Ate outside and the service was super attentive!

Yelp
Great neighborhood bar in a great neighborhood with great neighbors. I've loved this bar since the first time I ever came in and love it even more after purchasing it. Come give us a try.

Yelp
Came here for the Christmas pop up bar. We simply walked in and it was super convenient. The drink I ordered was delicious and the service was great. It looked like a great spot to get some food or visit during its normal operation. The venue was quaint and well kept with a warm feeling.
google avatar

Yelp
This bar has truly captured the magic of Christmas, right here in Baltimore I visited Ale Mary's for the first time last night, and I'll definitely be back! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff and amazed by the incredible attention to detail in the holiday decor. The walls were lined with classic movie references, glitter, ornaments, and twinkling string lights--everything felt so festive! We came for their free ornament decorating event, which was a blast! Plus, I'm excited to hear they have even more free events lined up this month! For drinks, we tried the Mistletoe Espresso Martini and Peppermint Mocha--both were delicious and affordable (our total for two drinks was just $21)! They had a slew of holiday themed food options too, I'll have to go back to try those If you're in Baltimore this holiday season, be sure to check out Ale Mary's!
google avatar

Brenda S.

Yelp
Updating my review after going during Christmas time! Ale Mary's continues to deliver. It was PACKED, I'm glad we came super early. The free Christmas crafting was such a fun way to spend time with a friend. The hot toddy was perfect for the cold weather and the cookies were a nice touch. The French onion soup was divine and the mac was good. The service was great, we were always being checked in on. Overall, can't miss for the holidays!
google avatar

Mary K.

Yelp
They have such fun decorations up for the holidays!!! Would 100% recommend to check it out to get you in the Christmas spirit. It was pretty crowded but service was still good, I had the eggnog and while not very creative (soco nog and fireball) the decorative glass still made me so happy, and it was delicious! Will have to go back on a normal day!

Yelp
A classic Baltimore tavern off the main path in fells point (Fleet and Wolfe). They offer a variety of specials throughout the week including a $10 burger night. I'd been here a handful of times but on a Baltimore crab dip craving a girlfriend and I came on a random Saturday afternoon. The crab dip here is the best I've ever had. The pretzels are soft and salty and the veggies were so crunchy. I'd been here before and wasn't blown way but this time - the dip blew me away. We sat at a table in the back of the bar - the main are is the bar with TVs (although I will say I don't come here for sports as I tried once and the cable wasn't working). There are the cutest salt shakers on the table. This is a dive neighborhood bar but the crab dip is superior.

Yelp
Ale Mary's is a holiday wonderland! Their festive decor is a MUST-SEE - it's truly magical. And to make it even merrier, try their signature Leg-Nog - it's absolutely delightful! A perfect spot to get into the holiday spirit. It's a small venue tho so sometimes hard to get a drink at the bar.
google avatar

Sean G.

Yelp
Very busy but the bar service was fast and friendly considering a Friday crowd. Love the Christmas vibe. The Leg-Nog was heavy in the fireball but still good. Wish we could get food but it was too popular

Yelp
We used to come here a lot for brunch. We decided to return to see if it was as excellent as it had always been, and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent. They made a point to celebrate my little brother's birthday by putting a candle in his french toast. it was my first time getting items that are considered lunch fare and I enjoyed them. Immensely the wings were tender and sauced perfectly. The Caesar salad was pre-dressed. The dressing was tasty. I'm excited to return to enjoy my traditional brunch items the mimosas do not disappoint.

Yelp
Amazing little neighborhood Bay in Fells. The decor is quirky, with black and white photos on the wall, a leg lamp on the bar, and a variety of signs -- all things that provide tons of fodder for conversation! Steve, the owner and bartender, and the other servers are so friendly and warm. They have a decent draft and bottle list and a full bar. They have a kitchen with a pleasantly surprising menu and a great brunch! During good weather they have outdoor seating, quick I would highly recommend for a summer or fall brunch outing.
google avatar

Suzee Q.

Yelp
Can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet! Every time I've been here, the service has been very friendly, helpful, and still professional. Their food, especially the burgers, are flavorful and delicious! I always try to sit outside when the weather is good, but seating inside is fine, too. Prices are decent for the quality and quantity you get.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service. We were lucky to have the owner today cooking up our meals. That orange crush was so tasty that I forgot it had alcohol! So I had two. Sausage patty & fried egg, topped with cheddar cheese & bacon piled high between grilled honey glazed donuts served with home fries.
google avatar

Yelp
I always love drinking here but I finally ate here tonight and so far the appetizers where off the hook. We had the everything ahi tuna and it spectacular. No pun intended. Lol. Jason the bartender was really cool and made us great cocktails. Adrienne was extremely helpful with assisting us navigate the menu and was very nice. I totally recommend this place if you haven't been here. If you have, please explore the menu next time. More reviews to come. Oh yeah if you haven't explored the decor here it's quite impressive also.

Yelp
Ale Marys is a classic Baltimore bar. The theme is great, with all the art and decoration being perfectly campy, the service is friendly and welcoming, and most importantly the food is top notch. Come here for the tots, and come back for the tots. While it is heartbreaking that they don't have their crab bisque on the every day menu now, if it ever comes up as the soup of the day it is also a must have. Whenever I have friends visiting for a brief period of time and I can only share a few venues with them, Ale Marys is always one that makes the cut as a wonderful example of what Baltimore has to offer in terms of both character and quality.

Yelp
I came here for Brunch. It was light on folks, so our food came out fast. I ordered the Juevos Ranchditos. They were particularly good till I discovered my over medium egg was fried. I let our server know and they were re-done. Again this set came out fried harder than the last. Of the 4 eggs cooked, only 1 was partially cooked correct. After explaining the conundrum to our server, I was met with no resolution. I ate a few more bites but, ultimately did not touch the rest of my plate. My item was not taken off my bill. Instead I was given a 3 buck can of beer for free. Classy? Not sure if I'd come back for brunch. Maybe lunch where there's no over medium eggs involved. LOL.

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Fells Point. A neighborhood dive bar with the best service and delicious food. A place where everyone knows everyone and if it's your first time there they will make you feel like you're part of the family. Brunch is wonderful but so is everything else on the menu.
google avatar

Tim M.

Yelp
Wow! Was looking for a place off the beaten path (not stuffy downtown) with good food and laid back atmosphere! Found it! Very relaxed and laid back. The cream of crab was pretty good. Not as thick and creamy as some, but really good flavor. The Blackened Catfish with shrimp over grits was amazing. Really was stuffed, but had to try the brownie sundae for desert with a Rye Old Fashioned to finish. Really no complaints and worth the long walk on a very hot day!

Yelp
Well this is a gem. I've been here three times in the last couple of months. First off it's got plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I've mostly eaten outside thus far, but due to a sudden thunder storm, have had the pleasure of dinning indoors as well. The team working there is super friendly and were a riot to joke around with while we were eating. I'm a firm believer in 3 plus drinks with all brunches, so I had a Guinness, a coffee, a water and a shot of whiskey. I would highly recommend this combo for your meal. The food was good. I think the donuts could have used a little more love, but everything else was solid. I think it gives elevated diner vibes, but it's really the whole experience that is top notch. It is a sports pub, so there were plenty of passionate sports fans every time I've been, but I think the excitement of the fellow patrons just adds to the experience. The location is a little hard to park in, but there is a lot to see and visit nearby, so I didn't mind hoofing it some. I think I definitely found a feel good staple for my future brunches. Side note, I can't have potatoes, so I subbed my potatoes for toast. Much like Oprah, I love bread.

Yelp
Came across this place on Thrillist. It was one of several places that spoke to me. It had been awhile since I was at a pub type environment that made me feel back in Ireland, so I thought we should give it a go. From the reviews it sounded like this place was gonna be loud, but have amazing food. Well, if you've ever been to a pub, a good one, YES it's going to be loud. We had looked over the menu prior to arriving so we had an idea of what to order once we arrived. Upon arriving this place is much like a traditional pub. Plenty of seats at the bar, w/ a handful of tables and high tops. Crosses decorate this quaint little pub. Specials are written over the bar, while hand written ales are posted on the wall. This place is known for their tots, apparently they go throw quite a lot! They come in a variety of types. We didn't opt to get any to start. Instead we started w/ the Crab dip (Served with warm french baguette, crackers & celery sticks). It was very rich and creamy. Between the two of us we couldn't finish it prior to our food coming out. It came out rather quickly after placing our order. Bison burger - this was a special for the day/week. All I know is it looked juicy and good, w/ an egg on top. So filling that my colleague couldn't finish it. Full Monte (An epic sandwich of biblical proportion 4 grilled cheese sandwiches stuffed with tavern ham, oven roasted turkey, Mapel sausage, fried egg, bacon & tomato finished with a fresh very berry dipping sauce and if you have room for dessert when your done you get a free fried ice cream sundae) - Let me start by saying WOAH! I envisioned what this would look like, but when I got it my eyes still popped out of my head. On the menu it doesn't say you get an ice cream sundae, but upon delivery to the table I was told. I couldn't eat more than half. It was delicious. Def a good breakfast meal for anytime of the deal. So tasty and flavorful. We asked for boxes for the sammiches and dip. We opted to get the Krispy Kream Bread Pudding (it's voted Baltimore's best dessert). It's not a Krisy Kream donut. It's more like a cinnamon roll. We got it w/ ice cream and whip cream. The warm and the cold blend well together. Now this we DID finish. The portions here are plentiful regardless of your appetite. Staff is friendly and attentive. If I lived here, this would be my spot for sure. Highly recommend coming in for a pint and some good eats. You'll leave stuffed and happy w/ a box of food to go! My tastebuds approve this message!

Yelp
Great neighborhood spot! Came here on a Thursday night for dinner because it was within walking distance of a friend's place, was happily surprised. It's an unassuming place, a very "local pub" feeling, with some nice outside seating. Although we were not able to sit outside, we were soon charmed by the welcoming and fun wait staff. First, we ordered some beers, and I had a enjoyable sour on draft. For an appetizer we looked at their extensive list of tater tots- sweet tots, crabby tots, cheesy tots, loaded tots, sloppy tots and on and on. We got the cheesy and were very satisfied. Thursday, it turns out, is steak night, so we ordered the $14 fells point steak special which was a huge portion of steak, mashed potatoes, and garlic broccoli. The price point was incredible, and there was so much food that I packed a box and got a second meal out of it the next day, thus doubling the value :) What a nice little place! It's comfort food for sure, but well done and in a pleasant, unpretentious environment. I have a feeling I'll be back.

Yelp
Hidden gem if you don't know where it is, great food great drinks and great staff what more can you ask for

Yelp
Ale Mary's close to Fells Point waterfront. Memorial day weekend Saturday was fairly quiet. Good selection of beer and ale. The three colossal crabcake sliders what I had. They were kind enough to delete the rule and spread it out over five fried green onions. See photo. Really good meal! $21. A very fair value right now. Great service friendly staff. Good variety on tap. I highly recommend it. The entire menu is a great great value.

Yelp
I'm all about dive bars. Places with good drinks, good food and good people. The food was ok. Nothing special, but not bad. I've had way worse bar food. The cheese tots were good. Crispy tots with a few different cheeses on top. I think they used a flat top or something to get some really crispy cheese on them. The mussels were also very good. Too many broken shells though so some of them weren't edible. The broth was very good though. My wife had the tomato bisque and really enjoyed it. Service was great.

Ruth D.

Yelp
We were recommended this place by the bartender at Bentley's because they didn't have food. Walked a few blocks and OMG worth every step! They were still offering their weekend brunch that ends at 2:00pm. I got the creamed chip beef over CORNBREAD!! How ingenious. And my husband got the Benedict IV with filet mignon, cooked to a perfect medium rare. He also got a side of the !%$# on cheddar cheese biscuits! We are definitely coming back!! Can't wait to try more! Service was awesome!
google avatar

Yelp
Ale Marys is a good drink and desert spot ! I felt a little overwhelmed with the dinner menu options and ended up getting a soft shell crab po boy. It was tasty but a little difficult to eat. I will say that my highlight was definitely the bread pudding desert with ice cream. If was PERFECTION and I would definitely order this desert time and time again . Service was attentive and courteous! If you're in the area and looking for some amazing desert and a nice drink selection, this is your place.

Yelp
Ale Mary's is one of the best bars in Baltimore for day drinking. Bloody Marys are near perfect, and the "Crabby Tots" haunt me in my dreams. Tom the owner is a real character, and you are as likely to find him behind the bar as in the kitchen.
google avatar

Cynthia F.

Yelp
This review is solely based on my brunch experience here. BF and I were out enjoying the unusually warm February weather and decided to go out to brunch. We had been to Ale Mary's one other time and decided to give it a try. I thought their brunch menu was very small with not a lot of variety. BF got pancakes that had bacon and sausage in them that came with eggs and potatoes. I got southwestern stackers that were corn pancakes that came with salsa and sour cream with potatoes and sausage. It was an interesting combination but I think it needed a little more flavor wise. Perhaps another sauce or more salsa-- it just felt kind of dry. The potatoes were the best part for me! Service was pretty quick and friendly but our outdoor table had mustard stains in between the cracks of the tables that wasn't cleaned up before we got there. Mimosas were only $3 which was a huge perk and entrees weren't that expensive which was nice too. I would definitely return and give the brunch menu or dinner menu another try.

Yelp
A diamond in the rough for sure we stumbled across this place on Saturday night right before we went to the bars in fells . Decent menu and amazing bread pudding . The Salmon BLT is amazing . I will Highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat and grab some drinks .

Yelp
As a Baltimore local, I hadn't been here in YEARS, but found myself at the ever familiar bar stool on Saturday late afternoon. I wasn't in the mood for beer, and it's summer....so Hoop Tea on draft, yes please! Hung out and enjoyed watching people come and go from the Pedal Mill (now the Trolley Pub) as we clearly had to celebrate whatever they were celebrating as well. Ordered some bacon tots (don't think that's the official name) and a steak flatbread pizza (don't sleep on this!!) and was both pleasantly surprised at how good they were. If you are a fan of The Christmas Story, you'll enjoy your time here. Bartenders were awesome.

Donovan B.

Yelp
Loved all aspects of our visit - great drinks, food, and service. Decor was inviting, nice atmosphere for a celebration.

Yelp
Traveling from northern Maine we chose Ale Mary's for the award winning Bloody Mary. However, we loved the bar so much we went back twice. Fun atmosphere, great staff and excellent food! Be sure to try the Krispy Kreme bread pudding! We will be back for sure next time we're in Baltimore!

Yelp
Abandon all hope, ye dieters who enter here. (And wear your stretchiest fatpants.) Ale Mary's specializes in gluttonous portions of carbs as a semi-feasible epic mealtime. There is naught on this menu to suggest your visit will be a healthy one, and any false hope will be crushed when you see the generous amount of food hit the table. Cheap pints of mimosas and bloody marys are a run-of-the-mill addition to your hedonistic brunch experience. There is nothing wrong with the breakfast burrito, except that it's not as intriguing as its alternative waistline foes. The drunken Sunday tots are a formidable adversary as a single person's brunch entree. Well-rendered bacon half-strips spear a hefty mound of cheesy smashed-then-crisped tots, like a greasy spoon rendition of the Iron Throne. The overlaying scrambled eggs in its description would have more accurately been described as a plain, not-quite-fluffy omelette. Meaty, creamy sausage gravy is then liberally poured on top. I recommend sharing this future heart attack as an appetizer among at least four people. The glorious Saints & Sinners sandwich is the epitome of breakfast cravings. The donut serving as bread is not too sweet and grilled for texture. Tender sausage patty. A fried egg with melted cheddar blanket forms the bed for an orgy of bacon. Need more alcohol sponge? No problem, the crispy side of home fries with peppers and onions will be your hangover KO. Patio seating is clutch. While warned away by our friendly server from the Southwestern stackers for its pedestrian qualities, we didn't have room for Krispy Kreme bread pudding or piggies on horseback... and two breakfast meats mating with my pancakes is exactly the gratuitous food porn I need in my party-recovery life. I don't think I can justify the bananas Foster stuffed French toast, but I'll be back to clog my arteries with self-loathing in the form of Full Monte, seafood pot pie, Mr Boh's mussels, cream of crab soup, and crabby/deli/sloppy tots.

Yelp
A Hail Mary pass is a very long forward pass in American football, made in desperation with only a small chance of success, especially at or near the end of a half. An Ale Mary Pass is a very long brunch in American fat kid history, made in desperation when you wake up hungover at 1 pm and need greasy food to soak up the alcohol. I can't think of a single thing I don't like about Ale Mary's. Their mimosas and bloody mary's come out in freaking pint glasses. Their prices are affordable. The servers are friendly and quick. And best of all the food here is pretty on point. For example, they have Saint and Sinners Sandwich ($7.95). It's a breakfast on a FREAKING grilled extra large glazed donut. And if you check out this cooking video you'll find out it's grilled in BUTTER (http://www.wbaltv.com/entertainment/food/Saints-and-Sinners-Sandwich/17552722#!bFJ60r). Who does that? Only a culinary genius with clear arteries.. The sandwich is delicious. I tried it. It has sausage, a fried egg, cheddar cheese and bacon and some home fries on the side. You must try this. Now let's move onto the next heart attack on a plate: Drunken Sunday Tots ($8.95): "Crispy Tater Tots piled high with Scrambled Eggs, Cheddar & Jack Cheeses and Bacon then smothered in Sausage Gravy" according to the menu. Beware this is meant for the table to share. I wouldn't order this for one person cause it might be overwhelming and deadly. Despite the healthy amount of sausage gravy all over it, the taters and bacon manage to stay crispy and they are delicious. If you need food to soak up the alcohol get this. I myself had the breakfast burrito ($7.95). I would say it's normally pretty awesome, but after having a bite of the Saint and Sinners donut sandwich, I kind of lost interest in it. Basically, it's like watching people around you eat whole milk fat ice cream, while you're the one on the diet eating sorbet and you get a taste of the ice cream. You don't care about your icy healthy sorbet as much after. I have never been so satisfied with a brunch before, and I'm not too much of a brunch person. I can't wait to return once I order a new wardrobe in the next size up. Or maybe two sizes.

Yelp
Nice little Pub/Tavern in the Canton area (think that's right). Stopped here to try some different spots (Thanos loves getting around) and this place did not disappoint. No, this place is not some hipster foodie palace that is going to make you change from Marvel to DC!! This place does good bar staple food for the Baltimore area with a few twists on items. They are reasonably priced and I wouldn't be afraid to bring my kid (Thane is very picky) or family here during normal hours. The drinks are strong and they have a good selection of draft beers with very friendly service. Thanos will definitely be coming back to conquer this little hidden gem (see what I did there). Thanos Approved!!

David P.

Yelp
Really good food, really good drinks, fairly priced, and has a great neighborhood feel. I've enjoyed Ale Mary's every time I've gone! However (and this may be because they are overworked/understaffed - seems that way), service could definitely be quicker.
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
Incredible Sunday Brunch. Eggs Benedict with hash brown potatoes that had onions and green peppers in it was delicious. My girlfriend and I will make this place a regular stop when we're in Baltimore.
google avatar

Courtney B.

Yelp
I wanted to provide a quick update. Mary's is managing the reopening very well - outdoor seating has expanded, canopies keep you out of the hot sun, and there are even misters to cool the air down. The staff is courteous and observant of the mask ordinance, and in general everything flowed at a pre-Covid pace. We had the Downey Ocean Flatbread and colossal crab sliders, both were excellent.
google avatar

Hannah K.

Yelp
I wish I had known about this place sooner! My family went here our last morning in Baltimore for brunch after a local friend suggested it. First things first, get yourself some crabby tots. You won't regret it, and they are perfect for sharing with the table. All of the brunch items we ordered were delicious, but the heuvos rancheros and bananas Foster stuffed French toast were our favorites. The other awesome thing about this place that we weren't able to take full advantage of was their mimosas and bloody mary's deal: $3.15 per drink and both were so good! I could see myself spending hours here on weekend mornings. It's not a huge interior but we got there right as they opened and thus had no problem getting a seat. No doubt I will be back for crabby tots and mimosas next time I'm in Baltimore.
google avatar

Ginger B.

Yelp
Great breakfast, drinks and a fun staff! Close to our VRBO and would highly recommend the Huevos Ranchditos and the Drunken Tots!
google avatar

Isaiah W.

Yelp
Place has one of the most pub feels in the city and that is definitely a good thing. I've been in here with a group of friends a bunch of times and we always feel at home chatting and grabbing a few cold ones before deciding where the night will take us. The staff is really personable and will come ask how everything is doing and actually sit down with you if you have questions or want to know about a certain menu item or drink. The location is pretty good and not too far walk to most other Fell's/Canton locations you may be trying to head to before or after. Also know that a lot of the meals are extremely large even though prices may not make you think that, so definitely go in with an appetite!
google avatar

Andrei K.

Yelp
Fun decoration, quite loud, a bit rough around the edges tavern with decent food and a neighborhood pub feel. Went there for a weekday night out with friends, provided I've heard some good feedback from it. The beer selection was decent, focusing heavily on the crafts and IPAs, but overall leaving a decent impression. The noise level was through the roof - even despite our attempts to scream at each other, we barely were able to hear anything at all, which obviously made the conversation a bit hard. The food was hearty and simple on the main menu - the crab dip was definitely near impossible to finish for a normal human being without getting a heart attack, but I was also able to order some very decent shrips and grits from a local menu that was sitting quite comfortably on the gastropub level. While it won't become my favorite spot in Baltimore, it will however remain a nice authentic spot I won't avoid. Perhaps rather choosing the outside sitting instead of the inside one for it to be a bit easier on my ears in the long run.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
This is a great neighborhood pub. The staff is friendly. The service was prompt. The food is very good. The wall decorations are fun. Slightly too much noise for me but really that won't be a problem for most people, I'm just overly sensitive to it. I'm looking forward to returning soon.

Yelp
Went here two months ago and ordered take out with two others. Quality has gone downhill and the customer service as well. Crabby tots tasted as if they were just covered in cream cheese, old bay, and the cheese blend. Ordered old bay wings but they gave me jerk wings. I called back immediately once I noticed and the guy wasn't polite to deal with. In the end, his resolution was that I could order more food the next day and he'd give me a discount. Why not just offer to remake the wings? It was 8:20pm and the kitchen was still open, but he said they'd be closing down SOON. The kitchen is open til 9, id rather have what I'd ordered now. Use to come a good bit just for the crabby tots but this visit surely left a bad taste in my mouth. Support local? Of course when businesses understand how to handle similar errors they make.

Yelp
I just moved to Fell's Point and this is my first time hitting up the bars around this area. This place is out of control. The food is incredible. I had the wings which were the best wings I've ever had, the crab cake which was the best crab cake i've ever had, and now I'm having the cream of crab soup, which is the best I've ever had. Not only that, but Shannon, the bartender, is super cool. This is, without a doubt, a diamond in the rough, and if anyone asked me to show them Baltimore, this is the first place I'd go--without question. Eat and drink here. You'll absolutely love it.

Yelp
I have only 4 words for you: KRISPY KREME BREAD PUDDING. Ale Mary's could have been haunted (it's not), or occupied by Al Queda terrorists (it isn't), or even be the national headquarter for the GOP (thank goodness it's not!)...and I would still come here - JUST for the Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding, if nothing else. It was a girls' weekend, and after an exhaustive morning of photoshoots (looking pretty takes a lot out of a girl!), we headed over to Ale Mary's for much needed dinner. We started with appetizers of cheesy tater tots and crap dip. The tater tots were *just* as good as you remembered it from elementary school lunches; crispy and hot with the added yumminess of cheese, and the crap dip was creamy and plentiful. Having been on a mussels kick of late, I ordered the Mr. Boh's mussels, which was made with National Bohemian beer, garlic, tomatoes and sausage, and it was divine! The flavors melded together beautifully, and each bite was a kick of flavor. My only complaint is that the mussels were just a *touch* overdone and had begun to take on a rubbery consistency - however, the sauce was beyond perfect, and the delicious crispy garlic bread that was served with it, was marvelous for soaking up all that flavor. My friends ordered the crab cake sandwich, a basic burger, and an ahi-tuna sandwich. The crab cake sandwich was huge, with the crab cake slightly larger then a softball! It was so good in fact that although they asked for tarter sauce for the sandwich - they ended up not needing it at all. It was just that perfect. The burger was, again, massive and we spent considerable time (between grunts and slurps of food), debating if it was a full pound of meat in that burger! The ahi-tuna sandwich perfectly seasoned and cooked - I didn't try any - but the friend that ordered it was moaning and groaning, so I'll take that as a win! However, this is all secondary to the glory that is the Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding. To start with, there were five girls - five starving girls - and we all shared ONE KKBP, and was mightily defeated. The thing is huge, then topped with a massive load of whipped cream and ice cream on the side. It was hot, gooey, and so insanely good. I have no words. The next time I come, I think I'm going to just order a plate of tater tots and the Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding and call it a day. MARVELOUS! The service was fast, friendly and quite fun. Our server had a great sense of humor and was on top of keeping our beverages filled and cautioning us that we really only need *one* Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding (we didn't believe her, but we're glad we listened). The restaurant itself is an adorable pub about 5 blocks away from the heart of Fell's Point, and the inside is comfortable, relaxed yet clean and quite nice. Although I love this place, and can't wait to come back - I am so glad that it's about an hour's drive away from me. If Ale Mary's was right down the road, I would be 300000 pounds and would never be able to tear myself away. Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding...you ownz my soul.

Yelp
This review is only for their dessert- Krispy Kreme bread pudding, it's awesomely delicious- every person I've taken here has LOVED the stuff. Generous amounts of everything- get the Kitchen Sink where you can try the bread pudding WITH their brownie WITH their cookie (all house-made) with mounds of ice cream. It's DELISH!! Service is always great and friendly too!
