Google
It's a challenge to find a true beer specialty store in Atlanta, but Ale Yeah! absolutely nails it. We're lucky enough to live close by, so it's a regular walkable spot for us and our dog who, by the way, is always happily welcomed inside. And their cat, Nacho? That's where the term "cool cat" truly comes from! What really keeps us coming back, though, is the incredible staff. They are genuinely knowledgeable and always friendly, making every visit a pleasure. We especially love popping in for happy hour to relax and enjoy a drink, whether we're hanging out inside or soaking up the weather on a nice day outside. Ale Yeah! is more than just a beer store, it's a fantastic neighborhood spot.

We decided to visit Ale Yeah to check out their craft beer selection. Parking was a little scarce, there are parking spots in front of the place and I guess you can find street parking. All of those spots were taken, so I had to park on the grass across the street from the beer market, near the train tracks. We walked in and were not greeted by anyone. We started wandering around admiring the extensive selection of craft beer from local and out of state breweries. The staff was working with another customer, but they could have acknowledged we were there. I don’t know if their tactic was to let us roam around and give us our space,  but initially we felt a little ignored. They eventually asked if we needed some help, but we just continued to browse around on our own.  I ended up buying more than I wanted, due to their great selection. Ale Yeah also has a few beers on tap.  I chatted with the staff and was able to taste one of their stouts.   They have a bunch of tables inside for lounging around.  I will definitely be coming back.

Google
Awesome place to grab a pour and try out the great rotations on tap or grab you something new to take home. They have all kinds of craft beers from all over and surely you could find something to satisfy your cravings. Awesome decor, outdoor seating, small snacks and it has it very own mascot, Nacho.

Google
I was introduced to this cozy gem when a friend gifted me a subscription to AY's "Growler of the Month Club". (Such an awesome gift) I was immediately awed by their selection that consisted of local and regional brews. Don't be shy asking the staff for recommendations, they were quite knowledgeable. Their tap also rotates as well. The flights were a great deal. There were snacks and small meals-- all supporting other local businesses (i.e. Quoc Huong Banh Mi Sandwiches, Knotty Pretzels, etc.). This place is the epitome of a local business. The ambiance was warm and inviting. Nacho (the store cat) is a gem within a gem, and gives great advice. There are a few tables and seating at the bar available. Parking is a bit limited.

Cute place, awesome owner, and great beer knowledgeable. Came for Rocktoberfest and tried some great Feistbeers and Marzens.

Google
Great little beer store in a nondescript group of shops on the roadside. Being from out of town, it was a great opportunity to pull together a variety pack of single cans from local and regional beers not available at home. Fantastic input from friendly staff! If I find myself back in Atlanta, I'd definitely go back! Thanks for the help Ale Yeah! Cheers.

Yelp
I stopped over here with a friend after his suggestions and we purchased a few beers and picked up one of their 64oz glass Beer Growlers. Let me be clear I am not a huge beer fan, so I am extremely picky about certain types of flavors and the customer service here was outstanding. I explained exactly what I was looking for and was offered a sample before buying 64 ounces. This store literally carries every single type of beer anyone could ever want. I love that they carry dozens of beers from local breweries and microbrewers throughout the United States. They have lots of specialty beers you will not find at your local grocery store. If you love beer or know someone who is then Ale Yeah is a place you will want to visit. I highly recommend this place. [Review #602] (28th Review of 2019)

Yelp
Outstanding customer service Decent selections on beer You can make your own 6 pack This store is diffinitely for a beer lover and would make great gifts. They sell meats! They have a small bar where you can sip. The beer is reasonable depending on what you buy. My 4 pack of ginger beer was $11 and some change. Very organized and tidy in there, visually appealing! I would most diffinitely come back. Great store to have in the neighborhood, can I get an ALE YEAH?!!!! if you love beer like I do you will have to catch yourself from fainting when you walk in. I had to check for my pulse to see if I had suddenly died and entered into the here after, ALE YEAH is the upper room on earth for me lmao they need to change the name to Jesus Christ because that's what I exclaimed when I entered, but ALE YEAH is just as dope! Lol

Yelp
I only come here every three months, when I get my hair cut next door at Adore (recommend!), but I pretty much ALWAYS go and buy something. Not a large shop but they offer a gear selection of craft beers, ales and ciders. They also offer a few wines, beer appetizers and growlers. And their staff is super duper helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

Yelp
Very neat place; good prices on growlers; quality and ok-sized selection. Parking is an issue though

Yelp
A solid selection of craft beers and nibbles. They have a ton of cheese and other beer accompaniments that can definitely make you look like you know your stuff if you have a dinner party. Some of the stuff is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for, its all great beer and just what Decatur needed. They are just getting started out but everyone there is real helpful and I'm sure they will be a goto for great beer for many years to come.

Yelp
Love this place! Located on College St in Decatur (next to Revolution Donuts). Parking can be tricky but worth the visit. Vast selection of beers (ipa, porters, Belgians, sours, stouts, etc...) - you can sample in-house, or take out a 6-pack or growler. Knowledgable staff can help guide your selection. Cheers!

Yelp
Ale Yeah is my favorite craft beer store. They have a local section right up front with new breweries such as second shelf and scofflaw. It has my favorite brewery, 3 Taverns. They have selections from all types of beer. They also have a growler station that has 16 taps. I picked up my monthly growler selection today. I have the 32oz selection. It is a great value. Tonight I got the Green Man ESB. Check this place out if you need hard to find craft beer.

Yelp
The first thing that came to mind when i learned that Ale Yeah was opening just two miles from my crib!? No more driving out to Greens and parking at Murder Kroger just to get my Belgian beer fix! With such beer-centric places like Brickstore and Leon's killing it in Decatur it was a much needed or at least highly desired addition to our community (Although if you've ever gone beer shopping with me you know i can get sucked into a decision vortex so my wife has a different opinion on the matter). What i really liked about Ale Yeah is the overall selection. Most beer snob joints tend to go overboard with the Belgians, which is like picking the finest apple at the supermarket amongst a sea of fine apples. The style of beer and country of origin was well allocated amid the Canadian (love me some Unibroue), German, and Belgian breweries, with regional and locals well represented as well - even our own Jailhouse Brewery in Hampton, GA, which only opened a short time ago. If you're a home brewer these guys seem to have many if not most of the supplies you'll need. If you're looking to start from scratch, they've got kits on hand. Need a gift idea? They have some great gift baskets that include cheeses, beers, and nicely designed "ALE YEAH" t-shirts. After about 30 minutes of browsing and price-comparing to Greens and Edgewood Kroger prices, here's what i left with: Bokrijks Belgian (delicious), a Yeast Hoist (still chilling), a Lindemans Lambic (for the missus), and a Delirium Nocturnum complete with awesome Pink Elephant glass that i always threaten to steal from McGowan's Pub in Oakhurst. Various glasses are available for $5. We escaped for about $40, which i felt was fair, after considering i saved gas money and spared myself possible bullet wounds. So when you visit this great new beer place, follow my motto: When you're having trouble choosing between two beers, the answer is most certainly...both.

Yelp
Ain't no Party like a Ale Yeah Party cause the Ale Yeah Party don't stop. Well, it kinda more like potential energy. You can't actually taste the stuff on tap for the growlers because they can't have a pouring license. Ergo, you can get all the delish fireworks but you can't light them in the store. Capice? So, what I'm really saying is you can go here and find those taste bud smacking liquids but you have to wait til you get home. So it's really like any other beer store.......NO You're wrong! Packed inside this great little shop is the most concentrated beer selection in the Southeast. It's a wonderland of hoppy, yeasty, malty goodness that will have the Lupulus species bonding through your head where visions of Santa Claus once were. In all seriousness, grab a growler of anything on the tap wall that seemingly emerges from the hand of God, a six pack you've yet to try and a Trappist, I suggest Orval or Achel to start, and let your adventure begin.

Yelp
There was a day when I was wondering where I would find a killer assortment of canned and bottled beer -- both local and regional and from elsewhere. Oh, hey. Ale Yeah is right down the road? Ya don't say! We finally had a chance to visit after a few recommendations from friends in NC. Being less than two miles from home, it's a sure shot for all of my canned beer love and affection. Love the layout. Beers split into variety, full six-packs, individuals, some in coolers, cans in the middle. I was more than obliged to pick up a sixer of Red Hare IPA in cans. They even have an assortment of charcuterie and cheeses. Had a chance to chat with the owner, too. Bottle shops are such a killer installment in my life as it brings so much variety to drinking at home. Where I love draught beers, canned beers are still top of my list. Ale Yeah, you have a distinct place in my heart. Cheers.

Yelp
Needing to stay in but really wanting a quality craft beer to snuggle with, I found myself steering towards Ale Yeah!. They have a great variety of beer both in style and brewers and they also carry my liquid lover - the Crispin Artisanal Line! It's a little more costly than Tower, but I'm not here to buy cider. I came for the Growler action. As a growler virgin, I needed some direction and advice and they were happy to provide. I chose to go with the small growler, 32 oz, and am glad that I did. It only cost $4.99 for the jug and $4.99 for the Belgian IPA they had on draught. Delicious beer but stronger than I anticipated so I wasn't able to get through as much as I would have liked but with a growler, you can reseal it! and savor more sudsy action later! What a great deal! 32 ounces of a delicious IPA for only $4.99? And I get to take it home with me? This place is unbelievable. Only downside is that they only have one keg of each beer to fill the growlers so when it's gone, you're sad - like I was because I really wanted the Mugshot IPA. Things turned out OK for me but I don't want anyone to miss out. So when you see your favorite sudsy drink on their growler menu - Do.NOT.Hesitate.RUN. But don't forget to bring your growler!

Yelp
This is hands down the best bottle shop in Atlanta. It is smaller than Hop City, but the selections are smart and diverse. I like the layout of the store and the management is very knowledgeable. I particularly like the build-your-own six pack idea. This really allows us to enjoy the tasting process that brings us to a craft beer store in the first place. Also, the monk murals on the rear wall are kind of the shit. If you like good beer, go ahead and add this to your list of regular spots.
google avatar

Steve V.

Yelp
Great selection of craft beers. Layout is great with different shelves depending on the type of beer: stout vs. lager vs wheat, etc. They also have a shelf with new beers so that you can try something new every time. There is also a "build your own 6 pack" option where you can pick 6 different bottles of your liking. In the back of the store is a section for beer brewers - a wide selection of brewing equipment - hops, grains, malt, thermometers, siphons, bottle brushes, etc. They even sell a kit so you can get started making beer yourself.....a great gift for someone who loves beer! Some food is also sold here...if I recall they had some smoked meats and cheeses. They also sell beer mugs/glasses with beer company logos on them. Prices may be a little higher, but sort of expected for a craft beer store. The staff are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely make me want to go back. For me, the location is perfect too with plenty of parking. Something for improvement: a lot of bottles did not have prices. I didn't want to have to ask prices on multiple items and then try not to act surprised if the cashier said it was $20 a bottle. Label the bottles or shelves please. All in all, a great addition to Decatur/Oakhurst!

Yelp
I'm several years late on this review. After all, I do live within walking distance of this spot, and have been here (and taken others here) more times than I can remember. The place is not too big to be overwhelmingly full of different beers (as sometimes other places can be)- but not too small to be short on any type of beer you may be looking to try. Even the organization of the beers by type is also a plus. Sure, they don't have as many taps as the Beer Growler down the street in Avondale...but I still love this place.
google avatar

Meg C.

Yelp
Do I like this place? Ale Yeah I do! I live in the Oakhurst area and though the Publix does a decent job of carrying decent beer, it's all the way across town and they don't have a staff specifically knowledgeable about the beer they carry. Ale Yeah, on the other hand, has a great staff who are friendly and willing to be helpful or just give you a chance to roam around for half an hour in awe of the vast amount of beer. I love the mixed six pack availability, it gives you a chance to try all sorts of things so you can come back and get what you really love, and the growlers are great! (hellooooo Groupon in my pocket!) I hope they're around for a while, because I'm more than happy to go waste my money at this place!
google avatar

Elena S.

Yelp
Nothing makes me happier than having a place to buy beer in walking distance from my house. On top of that, they sell lots of delicious sauage, cheese and accoutrements related to the consumption of beer and other complimentary products. There's always something new to try and they are active on Facebook about new additions, which is awesome. They have beers in sections divided by the families they belong in. THERE IS A WHOLE SHELF OF FLANDERS RED ZOMG I am so happy about this. They also carry tons of ciders and lambics. The guys have been friendly and knowledgable with me, and I hope to be back again soon. :)

Yelp
Growlers are all the rage right now. If you want to hop on the bandwagon then you must check out Ale Yeah. There are two sizes of growlers, small and large, which can be swapped out for each other at any time. You can check out which beers are on draft on their website before you go, so that you don't have to stand there drooling over the menu. The staff is very friendly and they know their brews. Be ready to get your drank on.
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Awesome growler place where you can buy a bottle and refill it as often as you want with high-quality craft beers on tap. The catch is that you have to drink most of the beers within a couple days of opening the bottle! So be prepared for that! The store is cute and small and stocked full of interesting, delicious, gourmet (expensive!!) beer products. So if you've got the champagne budget to go along with your champagne taste (or in this case fancy beer) knock yourself out! Personally, I like cheap beer sometimes, but I go to Ale Yeah every so often for a special tasty treat. :)
google avatar

Yelp
I love coming here when I am looking for something a little different and delicious. It is right around the corner and filled a need on this side of town. The staff is cool and helpful. Ale yeah carries a large selection of craft brews spanning the entire spectrum of taste and styles. They carry almost all the local favorites as well as some harder to find breweries. The Belgian section is pretty good too. I know they carry some other local dry goods, however I haven't tried them. I tend to have tunnel vision when it comes to purchasing a healthy brew. Their price points might range higher or lower on specific products but they are competitive with everyone else in the city. Probably the best part of Ale Yeah is the staff. They have been nothing but friendly and helpful when I go in there. At the same time they are not pushy at all. They will listen to you drone on about how much you think you know about beer and offer suggestions if you seem open to it. When it comes to bottle shoppes this is one of the ATL bees knees!

Yelp
Let me tell you what I'm grateful for. I'm grateful for the gradual loosening of distribution laws and practices in the USA, which allow us to enjoy a wide variety of beers - from rich Imperial stouts to fruity lambics. I'm grateful that American brewers have taken it upon themselves to infuse the brewing trade with that special level of imagination and ingenuity unique to the USA. Ten years ago, we bowed our fizzy, rice-based, watery twist-off caps low to the might and power of Belgium, England, and Germany - countries who all seemed to know more about good beer than we did. Now, WE are the trend-setters, the innovators, the powerhouses. Finally, I'm grateful that here in Atlanta, we have gained the ability to sample all SORTS of beers from all across our country - from Mendocino County, California to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware (home of Dogfish Head!). Ale Yeah! has joined the ranks of the scant few craft beer stores and ale houses which give us the variety we deserve and ought to be demanding. And for people in Decatur and the east outlying suburbs of Atlanta who don't want to drive all the way in town or don't have the wherewithal to spend an afternoon at The Brick Store, it certainly strikes a chord. These guys know their stuff. They have a passion for beer which is infectious - you step into Ale Yeah! and you can smell the malt and hops. Eddie and Cisco can guide you to the perfect beer to compliment your tastes, your dinner, your event. They are local pioneers of beer "connoisseurship" and Ale Yeah! is a store for beer connoisseurs - both the ones who already exist, and the ones who will become so once they try Ale Yeah! out.

Yelp
Cheesy name, Great selection! What I wouldn't give to have a place like this in Kansas City. On a recent road trip to the South, I had the pleasure of stopping by Ale Yeah! Craft Beer Market for the first time. One minute into a Google search of Atlanta's beer scene presented this stop to be one of The premiere locations to find craft beer. After recovering the initial shock of being surrounded by Dogfish Head, rare Sour beers, and taps of delights like Southern Tier's Pumking to be poured into growlers and taken home, I knew I had come to the right place for souvenirs of my two days in Atlanta/Decatur. Unfortunately, my cousins and I arrived about 15 minutes before close but in that way too short 15 minutes, I was able to grab 4 bottles of 90 minute IPA, a couple bottles of Rosee de Hibiscus, some beer from 21st Amendment out of San Francisco, and two bottles of a rare Rouge brewery Imperial IPA out of Oregon. I also grabbed a random spattering of local favorites in the make your own six-pack section so that I could try some of the local flavor. Had I had more time, I am positive that I would have found even more treats and definitely gone over my budget. The prices were beyond fair though, so I was able to come away with all of that having only gone $3 over my allotted Decatur beer souvenir budget. That is what I call success and self-restraint! I don't know when I'll be back in Decatur but I definitely know where my first stop will be when it happens.

Yelp
Having been here 4 times in their first 3 weeks of opening should indicate the quality of the store, or my laziness as it was just down the street from where I was staying. Ale Yeah sports a great collection of craft beers, from Southern Tier to Rogue to Hitachino. They sort the beers by type, and though it may be smaller as compared to Hop City, it's a decent size and they have a great selection. Their prices are comparable to other places, and the friendly staff makes shopping here very enjoyable. I certainly miss stores like Ale Yeah once I have moved away because their aren't as many craft brew stores in other states. I wonder if they do delivery?

Yelp
This place is spanking brand new, but recently, I was amazed by the amount of customers here. I welcome the age of the bottle store in Decatur. This is the first one, and I applaud the effort. They have a good variety of beer, and they have just about everything that the Georgia market offers. What most people don't realize is that, we can't get every beer that's available in every market. Every few months or so, the Atlanta market has added one or two breweries to it's local distribution that is a result of our old outdated beer/wine alcohol laws that changed several years ago. Just because laws have changed, doesn't mean that we can all of a sudden get every brewery that exists in this great nation of beer. Slowly though, distributors and breweries have stuck deals to start offering their products in the state of Georgia. This place has alot of good beers, but there are alot of beers that I would like to see them start to carry. In my opinion, if you are still focusing on Belgians, you've really overlooked what the U.S. breweries are bringing to the table. I like Belgian beer, but American craft beers are exploding right now and that's where I like to spend my money. This place doesn't have a big focus on Belgians, which is great. Granted, this place is a baby, and it's going to take time to figure out what beers are going to sell and which aren't. Let's hope they figure this out quickly, because it's just going to benefit us all. The mix and match six packs are a must for any shop like this, and they are at least offering this option. As far as the cold beers versus room temperature ones, that really isn't what this place is about. It's not a liquor store or a convenience store, so not having everything cold isn't really an issue to me. If you don't have time to refrigerate your beer, maybe this isn't the best place to go, but I can see improvement on that front sooner than later. Again, I can wait to bring my beer home and let it chill properly. This isn't a tailgating spot for beer on the go. Great effort and if Ale Yeah listens to it's customers, this place will be just fine. Good knowledge and big balls for the first bottle shop in what is clearly the beer capitol of Georgia. Chalk another great local business up to the Decatur neighborhood. Prices are decent, but with some local liquor stores in Decatur offering similar options, if not better for beer, it's time to step up and make this place a destination for beer connoisseur's. Would love to see unique offerings and a "what's new and hot" type of section.

Yelp
Before I visited Ale Yeah!, City Beer in San Francisco was my favorite beer store. Sorry, City Beer: Ale Yeah! is my new favorite beer store. What a great selection of craft beers - and everything was organized so nicely. Friendly owner - we talked about how Bell's isn't available in San Francisco, but Russian River isn't available in Atlanta. Prices are good here.

Yelp
Nuts and Bolts: We were having breakfast at Revolution Doughnuts. When we arrived, I remembered that I was looking up a non-mainstream drink online and that Ale Yeah carried it. So after breakfast, we headed over. Pros: It was super easy to find my desired drink. My boyfriend asked the staff (possibly the owner or manager) for something that was similar to Sweetwater 420. He was able to suggest something with ease. And my boyfriend ended up really liking the drink. The place is small and personal, which is very nice. And there was no pressure to sign up for the mailing list. And they have Belly! Neutral: It is not your typical large package store. So may not be able to find everything you may want. But likely have some good alternatives. And, for me, they have my Koppaberg- so I am all good. Takehome message: Great if you need a specialty item.

Yelp
I finally stopped by yesterday. I am very disappointed. There is a decent selection of beer here, some I rarely see elsewhere in Atlanta. However, the prices seem to be a couple bucks a six pack higher than the other places I shop. The thing that really disappoints is the beer storage. Looks like less than 20 percent of the beer is in coolers. The rest is on shelves with halogen spotlights lighting it up. Heat and light are not good for beer quality. If the beer sits around under these conditions for a while it will deteriorate. Maybe they are moving beer fast enough that it is not a concern. I had high hopes, let me know if the storage conditions change.

Yelp
Believe the hype! Very impressive selection of craft beers. Very helpful staff. Most impressive set of supplies for home-brewing folks. Staff makes good recommendations and solid efforts to involve local vendors in the things they sell.

Yelp
As well as having a great beer selection, I like that Ale Yeah is expanding to include a few specialty items, such as coffee, pretzels and meats. But really, a great beer selection.

Yelp
It's great to have a craft beer store in Decatur. I met Eddie, the owner, and he was super friendly and helpful. They have a good selection, not as good as Hop City, but the space is smaller. It's definitely the best selection on this side of town. 4 stars rather than 5 both for the smaller selection and somewhat high prices. I know I have to pay more for the quality, but a six pack and six individual bottles ran me $70. Also I noticed it was difficult to find prices on some of the bottles. Some were marked with stickers on the bottles, but others not at all. Would love to see prices on the shelves, or clearly marked on the bottles. Looking forward to a re-visit when they're a little more set up. I saw promises of cheese and other goodies on the website, but the store was a little barren. Cheers and best of luck to Ale Yeah!

Yelp
These guys are the absolute best. They have an amazing variety of beer. It's also extremely well organized. I've never walked into here and not been offered help immediately. The employees are extremely knowledgeable and ready to help! I also love that ALL of their beers are pick and choose six pack. That's right, every single one. Want to try 6 different IPAs? That's totally allowed. It's fabulous. It's where I go when I only want to buy 6 beers, but I need some variety in my life. There isn't much else to say about a beer store. Good stock, solid organization, great staff, decent location. All in all, top notch. I do wish they had a bike rack, but that isn't really a big thing.

Yelp
Great staff that know their beer. Varied selection. 16 growlers of two sizes to go. A store cat named Geisel. Assorted snacks. What else does one need in a great beer store?

I can honestly say that Ale Yeah! was the reason I truly began to love beer. With the ability to sample beers until you truly find one you love, that's the advantage. I have yet to get a growler from here, but that's coming soon. A great down home local shop ran by good people. P.S. They also keep some of these beers cold, and if your really nice... They might put some in the fridge before you come there and pick it up.

Yelp
Great craft beer store in Decatur. The selection is quite varied with stuff I was familiar with and many others that I wanted to become familiar with. The staff there is really knowledgeable about the beers and extremely nice and helpful. It is a staple for my brother-in-law to stop there when he visits us to get beers he is unable to get in Florida. They really set the standard for beer stores.

Yelp
Excellent selection of seasonal beers as well as hard to find products. These guys know their stuff when it comes to all things beer and are leading the charge on making Atlanta a greater presence for brewers all over. This is an excellent value when it comes to craft beers and brewing accessories. I highly recommend anyone that enjoys quality brew to stop by and check them out. Kudos guys!

Yelp
I visit Decatur each fall and make a point to stop in here to pick up beer to drink while we're there and to bring back to Florida. The place makes great use of the small space. I really like the organization of the beers. It's easy to find new beers in my preferred styles. The staff are excellent. We were rushing to get there before they closed and just made it. They stayed and helped us well beyond their normal closing time. They really seemed to care that we got everything we wanted. They truly seemed to enjoy helping us. Top notch customer service. Thank you.

Yelp
I LOVE this place. There is a growler store much much closer to me, but I am a huge fan of Ale Yeah. First of all, their selection of bottled beer is nearly mind-blowing. As far as I can tell, they have any beer that a beer lover should ask for. They also just increased their taps from 8 to 12, so now there are even more growler options for me! The thing that really pushes Ale Yeah into 5 star territory is their customer service. I've been here quite a few times now, and each time, their service has been amazing. My first visit was specifically for some growlers to share with my friends, but they weren't busy so I thought I'd try and get some advice on beer for me, as well. I have always liked beer, but have never known which beers I'd have a good chance of liking, and most of my friends could never nail down my preferences, either. It was time to stop being all on my own. I told the adorable beer man what sorts of beers I liked and he pointed me to the wall for me. He spent quite a bit of time pointing out several brands that I should try at some point as well as letting me know which ones were good values for the buck. Let me tell you - he was right! I've never loved beer more than I have recently, now that I know which beer styles I will almost certainly love. The next visit that sticks in my head was the week of Thanksgiving. I went after work and the store was positively packed! I was going to grab some cider as a gift for a friend who was hosting me for Thanksgiving. I knew what she liked and had called the day prior to get some held since they only had one pack left. After I arrived, that pack was promptly in my hands, but I had more questions. I wanted something else to give her that she might also like (based on her other preference) as well as a few things for me. In spite of a very full store, the man who was assisting me did so knowledgeably and without any sign of agitation. I was treated as if the store only had a few customers in it vs the 20 or 30 that were there at the time, and that kind of service really is priceless. All in all, Ale Yeah has earned a very satisfied customer in me, and I am happy to support such a helpful, wonderful small business.

Yelp
I've heard a lot of great things about this place on the Beer Advocate forums and I finally got a chance to check this place out in person this weekend. I was not disappointed. Excellent selection and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a huge selection of beers and it's arranged by style which makes finding what you're looking for very easy. They also have a good glassware selection as well as some great gift ideas (besides beer). I highly recommend place to any craft beer fan.

Yelp
Curbside pick-up during COVID-19 and social distancing works really well! They'll take your order over the phone and even help you pick out some great craft beers based on your tastes. Then drive over and get your beer! Great selection and awesome local store.

Yelp
It is great to see a store of this caliber open up in Atlanta. Craft beer is growing and growing. I had already heard of this place way before it opened. I have been following on twitter and their website. When you walk into the store you are immediately greeted with a wonderful sight of beer sorted by types. They have an excellent selection. You will not find a "bud light" anywhere near this store. I am a huge Hop head so I headed straight to the IPA shelves. I was greeted and was given suggestions that I might not have tried before. I am now a big Southern Tier fan. The place is clean, friendly and just cool.

Yelp
I'm not an avid beer drinker but, when I choose drink beer I want to spend my money on quality. I also enjoy novelty in my beer selection. Ale Yeah! offers the opportunity to spend my dollars locally and with the guidance of some real knowledgeable people. I've anticipated the opening of this store for the past few weeks. As I was passing by a few weeks ago and stopped in before lunch. I sampled one of their dry sausages with a lovely Asher sweet grass blue cheese and a Terrapin Moo-hoo. It made for a lovely midmorning snack. Eddie, the proprietor, help guide my selection and offered selections of other brews I should consider on my next visit. The design is stylish without being pretentious. I also found the selection superb without being intimidating. The conversation (when its not too busy to have one) is helpful and interesting. Overall, I wish all of my retail experiences could be this thoughtful and pleasant.

Yelp
Ale Yeah is the best beer store in town! They've really created something special with this place. It has a warm, comfortable environment. Great assortment of meats and cheeses. Also, home brewers will be happy in the fact that you can get quality supplies there. Oh! and the beer! very excellent variety of beer, stuff I don't see a lot of the time, stuff from all over the states and the world. And Ale Yeah is much easier to get to than some of the other craft brew stores around town.

Yelp
This a great craft beer store! They have great hard to find beers that beer connoisseurs will be happy to see. I wish they had more space for even more yummy offerings. Additionally they carry tasty treats to go with your beer and supplies if you want to brew your own.

Yelp
They were hosting a beer/donut pairing tonight that started at 6:00. My friend and I got in line at 6:10, 5 minutes later was told they only had 50 pairings for the night and only 13 left at the time. They should have posted on the Facebook event page the number of pairings they had. Or have people buy tickets in advance not at the door. Oh well walked down the street and spent our money on beer somewhere else.

Yelp
Hands down probably the best customer service EVER. A friend and I stopped bySunday evening before dinner and were amazed at the offerings. I don't know much about beer but the guy that assisted us (I think Alex) was great. I told him a few flavors and beers I like and he had a list of recommendations. Even better, you don't have to commit to an entire 6-pack just to get home and not like it. I got 9 different beers, but left not breaking the bank with a 6-pack and 4-bottle pack. Now I can try out, and come back to invest on what I really like. This was very different and great for someone like me that's new to beer but open to exploring. A must go to place.

Yelp
I was excited to see Ale Yeah! open and was even more pleased when I went to shop there. I had gone to eat at Leon's that same day and went into Ale Yeah to find the beer I had ordered at lunch. Since I had only remembered the brewery but had forgotten the name of the beer, I described the tasting notes to one of the employees. He named the beer and escorted me to the product on the shelf. $7 for a high-end 750ml bottle? Awesome. We splurged and also bought some of the high-end chocolate from the local chocolatier, Cacao, as well (I am also a fan of theirs.) All and all, I had a great experience. The shelves are very well-organized, the shop is well-lit, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Yelp
My favorite beer store in the city. Great staff and great selection. It's like going to an old world neighborhood market. Always a pleasure giving this place business.

Yelp
Recently moved to Decatur and love having Ale Yeah within walking distance. Have only been in a couple of times so far to fill my growler but the staff is cool and they seem to have a great selection (updated often). I'll be back!
