Real authentic Mexican cuisine. Hands down best food. Better than any restaurant,food truck ect.. You will not find better food in all of Santa Ana probably Orange County. This food is so good they could have cussed me out and i would have just thought it was part of the experience. However they were very nice and got my order to me in a timely manner.

I’m not one to write reviews but this is NOT worth the price. It took long to receive my order. Just a heads up prices aren’t shown. You’re told your total once you put your order in. $45 for 4 ceviche bowls and a fish taco. Honestly thought it must be good for the price. Turns out they’re skimpy with the fish & ceviche was super sour and salty. Definitely do not recommend. Can’t speak for the rest of the food.

This is a food truck that is on the street, near the parking lot. I have been there 3 times now, and I came across this place by accident. The truck says it is State of Mexico style food. They have seafood and grilled food. The food is good, I would just recommend not putting too much tomato on the tostadas, tomatoes are a vegetable that spoils very easily, and even more so in hot weather. The second time they forgot to give me an order, but the third time I went they gave it to me. They should be more careful with the orders, because they don't forget to charge. This last time the tostada smelled weird, and the tomato was starting to spoil, so be careful with so much tomato, and how you handle it. I usually order everything to go, because there are no tables, but there are people who take their chairs and tables and eat in the parking lot or in their car. My recommendation for this place is to put some tables and chairs, take care of the preparation of the food so that the food does not start to spoil, and put a lot of tomato on the tostadas. Don't do it, so that the flavor of the ceviche tostadas will improve even more.

5 stars bc I loved the service. The food was good but there's nothing super special that sets them apart from other trucks. I went at the end of the day where the aguachiles were out 😭. MUST GET the tacos dorados de camarones. The quesadilla de hongo was ok - get something else. Will try other 🌮 next time

It's one of my favorite taco trucks to visit. I always get tacos al pastor but I decided to try something different. So I got Tacos Dorados de Birria de Res and let tell you this was sooo good. The meat was soft, tender and full of flavor. It's serve on a fried corn tortilla and drenched on a red beef stew. Did I mention there's melted cheese and top it off with some cilantro and onion. I can say that I found a new favorite dish.

Haven't tried it yet but the food looks phenomenal. And the aroma is quite alluring, and makes you hungry even if you've already eaten. I'm definitely gonna try it out today. So good!!?!.

Good service and the food was a 3.5/5. Nothing bad bit my Carne asada burrito didn't have as much flavor as some previous experiences.

Food quality has been decreasing. Used to go because the food was really good and now I go out of convenience since I don't know many places close to me but even then it's not convenient because the people working don't have good customer service and make it feel like customers bother them by going or asking for stuff. They make their sauces really spicy so that people don't get a lot so they don't have to make more but food is not the same without a good sauce so it's just really annoying that they do that. They charge an extra dollar if you pay with card which I'm pretty sure is illegal as well. And they don't own up to their mistakes. They blocked my moms number because she called and took back an order that they had made a mistake on. They were mad they had to redo the order but that is not our mistake? If you make a mistake you need to gladly replace it & even apologize because it's more an inconvenience to us that we had to drive back after realizing they messed up the whole order once we reached home. We've tried calling from her number and of course it goes to voicemail because the blocked her but it'll go through on my phone and my brothers. We've been going out of convenience since it's the only one we know that's close to us but it's not even convenient that my mom can't call to order anymore and that the service is trash. Need to find a new place asap because why are they operating a place if they don't know how to tend to people. La calidad de la comida sigue bajando. Antes disfrutaba bien mucho la comida, ahora está bien pero no como antes. Antes iba porque la comida era bien buena pero ahora voy por conveniencia de ser lo único que conozca cerca a mi. Ahora ni conveniente es por que no saben lo que es servicio al cliente. Hacen sentir que ir es una molestia. Hacen las salsa demasiado picosas y sin sabor. Hacen las salsas picosas para que uno no agarre y para que les dure. No quieren hacer nada. La comida no es igual sin salsa pero no dejan opción y no se puede disfrutar. Cobran dolar extra por pagar con tarjeta que estoy segura que también es ilegal. También le bloquearon el numero a mi mamá por llevar una orden devuelta en la que se equivocaron. Se enojaron que tuvieron que hacer la orden otra vez pero eso no era culpa nuestra. Hemos intentado hablar de su celular y s va directo a buzón pero sirve desde mi celular o otros. En verdad se enojaron por algo que era su error. Si uno se equivoca es trabajo suyo de corregir el error. Era más inconveniente para nosotros tener que regresar porque ya habíamos llegado a casa cuando nos dimos cuenta. Es inconveniente que mi mamá ya no pueda poner orden y solo podamos nosotros. Ya no nos está gustando nada ir ahí. Íbamos de conveniencia y ahora ni eso es. No saben nada de cómo ser amables. Si vamos es por que es lo más cerca ya pero cuando si vamos no nos sentimos como que nos reciben con gusto.

Sadly the carnes were salty and fatty. This goes for all 3, that I ordered, (pastor, pollo, asada) the pollo was more dry than anything. -.- The sides being smalll portions adds on to the annoyance... but really I hated that they talk about you in Spanish while you wait =| bfr '*.*' Although the tortilla's were v good!! They were grilled and seemed almost homemade and on the thicker side, and they were doubled on the taco !! ;) beans were fine, rice was mid $13 bucks for this plate idk whatever I guess Food 2. Atmosphere -0

The food is good. Hit or miss. I usually go for the gorditas or the tacos (chicken) I wouldn't give it a 5 star though. They charge $1 to use tap / card , which is illegal in California. But they wouldn't understand that. Sometimes it can get packed so I call ahead while driving over. Sometimes they can't keep up with the condiments (salsas / lemon wedges / etc) seem like they're always out. But they're nice enough to cut it up right away if you let them know. Just had my tacos, they were okay. I get drinks separately at the superior market adjacent to the lunch truck or just bring water from home. I was here last night 4/24 - I got a taste of "old" meaning the food tasted such a way it was left out too long, so brought it down 1 star from original 3 star.

Solid food. Their Carne asada is like steak not shredded or ground beef. Amazing food. A local authentic food truck trusted by the neighborhood.

The food is amazing. Their tacos de cabeza are the best. 10/10 would recommend them! I found this location not too long ago but it's been my favorite since.

This place has real authentic Mexican food, however keep in mind everything is made fresh and to order so it's going to take 15-20 mins to get your food! I've tried everything on the menu it's all fresh and delicious!

Second time going to this place first time was ok second time was by far the worst. Am not sure if it was because they were busy but food was cold. The burrito I got was plain hardly any meat.

Came to this location ON ACCIDENT. Was sad to see the tripa tacos were not the same as the ones I had at another taco truck. Also, found out there are TWO Alebrije's Grill in Santa Ana, but their tacos are completely different. How is it legal or ethical to have the SAME taco truck name??? Straight up confusing. Anyway the tripa tacos here (got them extra crispy) had pieces of deep-fried small intestine. I'm more of a grilled intestines type of girl so the tripa taco here was NOT my jam. Probably won't be returning. TL;DR Deep-fried intestines in tripa tacos. Not my style.

The food was just amazing. Way better than I expected. I ordered birria tacos and they had to be one of the best ones I've ever had. Definitely coming back.

I was craving some tacos after watching a Youtube video and this was the closest taco truck around. I think that this place can satisfy an instant craving, but it doesn't sustain... Usually when I go to a taco place for the first time, I would get the carne and pastor if there aren't anything the place is known for. The carne was dry. The pastor was okay. The salsa made up for the dryness but... it was okay. I won't be back here... I think there may be others around the area that are unexplored.

OMG! This is one taco truck you cannot miss! They have delish tacos with delish salsas!!! I usually get a gordita with a taco because I need something to munch while waiting for the gordita! Gorditas are really tasty here but it does take them a while to make them. There is always a line and a wait to eat here, duh, they are good! I cannot say enough good things about their chorizo and asada tacos, other than I might go back to get some more right now! There tacos use to be $1 and I think they are not $1.50. That kinda sucks but eh, they are still cheap and delicious so I can't really complain! Not all the Alebrijes are equal though, the one that parks by Northgate gives you grilled nopales and I don't think any of the others do. The prices might vary too. Anyways, Enjoy!

Not sure why this truck has 3.5 stars. It should really be 5 stars! The quesabirria is my go-to EVERY TIME. $3 each and so filling and yummy. Gracias por todo Alebrijes!

California, Best authentic Mexican food, fresh and cook by order! I would recommend this location to anyone who really know and appreciate Mexican food.

Love the food here iv been come if for almost 5 years the birria tacos are really good. The staff is friendly except on lady in the afternoon she's really impatient and rude but other than that no complaints

Basic. They're racist towards white people. Second time they've served several Mexican families with larger orders ahead of me even though I ordered first. Food took almost 30 minutes each time. Mid at best. There's better in the area.

Best taco truck I've ever found. I go out of my way to come here when I am in town. The salsa is great and the price of the tacos can't be beat.

Today I dicide to try this place for the first time. I ordered 1 asada taco and 1 quesabirria total$5.50 I was thinking not bad at all! I waited for nearly 30 minutes and went to check with the cooks .. and asked them about my order and they told me they don't have it! What happened here is the lady that took my order ( which I believe she is the owner)never send the ticket to the cooks so my order was never in the process of being made!! I requested a refund for what had happened.. I got my money back but the lady that took my order never apologized to me!! This is what she said to me ( here is your money) that was it! I walked away and took the dollar that I put in the tip jar.(inaceptable señores )

My friend brought me to this place and it is definitely one of my goto places. I usually get birria queso dorados tacos with a side of consommé other good things are asada, tripas,buche taco or quesadillas. It is cash only and is sometimes busy so wait time can be a bit long.

Food was amazing !! Place deserves more comments and stars. Definitely will be back. Tostadas de aguachile , peascado, birria tacos and tacos governador were delicious

We've had these tacos a couple times. They are pretty good for the most part. The tripa and cecina are my favorite but you do have to eat them when warm. They have pastor, asada, cabeza, birria and others the ones mentioned being probably the most popular. If you're looking for a taco truck in the SA area, this is your spot. Plenty of parking and prices are not bad.

Even though the woman wrote one part of my order wrong (she wrote tripas instead of chorizo), it was still good. The quesabirria was so yum!

Everything about this place is great. This truck is conveniently located by the Superior supermarket which has ample parking. In comparison to their other location by Northgate supermarket (Main and Cubbon); so you get faster service and don't have to deal with the hectic crowd. Meats are all juicy and not too salty. The salsas are delicious and the spicy ones have the right amount of kick to them. I've never had a bad meal here which is why it's my GO TO taco truck!

First of all, this place is cash only which kinda sucks but oh well. I have yet to try their tacos, but their mulitas and gorditas are good. I came here once before and i got nothing but the icky parts of the meat. chewy and not good. I came a second time and it was still the same, not as bad. I'm a big fan of asada so maybe the al pastor might be better. I'll try that next time. I love their carrots in vinegar. They make them themselves which is so awesome. The trays they put the food in are great! makes it easy to eat from since most taco places put to go food in aluminum foil. I really wanted to try their tacos dorados but i asked and they didn't have anymore. There's an older lady who takes the orders who seems very impatient and very rude when i had asked questions. I had a nicer experience this time with another woman.

Advice for newbies, CASH ONLY! Leave the plastic at home, bring your coin purse, and GET READY FOR THE DELCIOUSNESS THAT IS ALEBRIJES. This amazing food truck is located right beside the Superior Market parking lot. I purchased six tacos, all at $1.50 each: Buche, Cabeza, and Birria (There are $2.00 tacos but I forgot which meats). The lady taking orders was sweet and informative. When the tacos came out, I immediately got a wiff of the aromatic meats and I knew these were going to be good. The Cabeza and Buche were both tender and juicy, while the Birria was spiced to perfection. One of the surprising showstoppers for me was THAT CREAMY GREEN SALSA. I swear it brought the flavor of the tacos to a whole new level. TL;DR - Great tacos. Doesn't break the bank. GET THE CREAMY GREEN SALSA. Until then, my rating stands.

A way to my heart is with some bomb ass tacos! Last minute Taco Tuesday run. Never disappointing and always worth the drive and time. I wish I could eat one of everything from their menu lol But I'll settle with my Mulita!

Their food is great but none of the workers are wearing masks kind of defeats the purpose of us wearing one too no?

Their Al Pastor tacos are so delicious. The day I went they were stuffed with meat and onion (which I absolutely loved). They were juicy and flavorful, I could eat those literally everyday. The carne asada tacos on the other hand were a bit dry for my preference, but I still really loved them. I would definitely recommend.

Food is okay. The waiting time is ridiculously long; about 1 hour just for some tacos dorados. Lost my interest in this place when I saw them cleaning the grill with a dirty looking towel. Disgusting! Not coming back and would not recommend.

Delicious everything all the time !! I am here frequently I mostly order the 'gringa' it's the best the sopes de asada, price is affordable. I rather grab food from here then a fancy restaurant any day !

BEST TACOS IN SANTA ANA, Everything is so good must give a try there food is better the restaurants there meat is freshly made, when its busy it takes a little while , but it's worth the wait!!
