Amazing food! Love to dine in! I’m begging y’all to make more room for people to wait in line. It’s so awkward standing up right side of a table with people eating. Maybe move the table with your utensils and menus?

Food is great for the price! Best tacos! Just be mindful of your wait time. They will tell you 15mins but it’ll actually take 40. Other than that it’s a great restaurant

Tool the kids athey where happy. One got the Fiesta nachos other got the Navajo taco with Carne adobado and they gave the two thumbs up. Wife got the New Mexico Philly Cheesesteak and she was impressed. I got the tamale plate and couldn't finish it but it was worth every penny. Top notch staff that always treat you like family.

The absolute WORST tacos I've ever eaten in my life. So stale, I couldn't even pull it away from my mouth. I would have been better off eating out of the dumpster. Not even joking. Total waste of money. I don't know how they are still in business.

We called in an order this morning. After I got the food back to the group, it was all wrong. Veggie omelet drowned in beans, another order of a egg and cheese burrito, that I specified no pork no meat, came with no cheese but had hashbrowns and loaded with chunks of ham. The guy said he'll remake it.... but we're already at the work site and can't return to the restaurant. So some of us didn't get breakfast today.

Great food and service everytime we go when we are in town.

Wish I would have taken a picture of my meal. I ordered chicken enchiladas with red chile. It came with a side of rice and beans and two sopaillas. Garnish included, I got extra. Overall, it was delicious. I ate everything, mostly. Especially the sopaillas.

Food and service were well worth the drive. The tables are way to close together, I easily could have eaten of the other tables plate. It’s local so your money stays local. Definitely check it out.

Food here is pretty good to be honest. The part where they lack extremely is on service. Service is terrible! On the plus side, they are friendly but wow do they take forever if you need anything.

All I wanted was cheese enchiladas, I drove around town went to a couple places. It was 1:45 they all closed at 2:00. Needless to say I was turned away. I remembered Alejandro's. I drove through the drive-through it said drive thru closed at 2:00, Please come in. When I went to the front door I saw that the sign said closed at 2:00. I seem again to be out of luck again until a gentleman said that he would take my order, a couple came in behind me, and he even sat them down, even though they closed at 2:00. Now that is Customer Service at its finest. Thank you, Alejandro's for feeding me today. By the way, the cheese enchilada plate I ordered was amazing!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! You saved the day!!!

I haven't been to Alejandro's in quite a while, since they opened their new location I was extremely impressed by the open space's and the decor. The server was new so my daughter and I were very patient and understanding, she was very pleasant which is rare. The food was very good, still made fresh especially the chips and salsa, I couldn't get enough of yummy!! I definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great place to eat in Belen on a Sunday.

Went in to try the food here, unfortunately they only take cash. Their sign said "cash only." When I asked the server when their credit machines will be up and running, he said he didn't know and that it's cash only until their machines are fixed. I would love to try the food here, I've read such great reviews! But I don't carry cash, so I couldn't try it. If I ever get the opportunity again, and I have the necessary payment method on hand, I'll update my review with a full breakdown of the food and location, as usual. Note for management: the location should post cash only signs on the exterior of the building so drive through and walk-in customers know ahead of time.

New mexico philly, I ordered this sandwich and this is what I got home with. What's with the lettuce, tomato onion garnish. The bread was absolutely glutenous and the cheese is congealed. The undercooked small portion of fried potatoes is inedible. The "philly" meat is obviously store bought. This third and final chance that was given to this resaurant. I was excited for the new launch however, It has turned out to be a huge disappointment. At least all the roosters are gone.

I've been here before and my review was fair but I'm going to add a star because we sat down to eat here, outside of course, and I had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Portions are huge, prices are very affordable and the service was great. Two thumbs up.

Delicious food. Pretty sure the tortillas are homemade. The posole was soooo good. Service was fantastic.

While driving from Socorro to Gallup, we wanted a bowl of pasole and menudo. This place did not disappoint. The salsa tasted freshly made and had the perfect amount of spice. The pasole was very well seasoned. The menudo was also delicious. The service staff were very attentive. I highly recommend this establishment.

Worst service. Food is very good, but definitely rude and lazy waitresses. They over charged me and ran the credit card even though I pointed out the problem. They struggled to figure out how to reverse the charge. I used to love this place. I certainly won't eat there again.

Breakfast or lunch, this little restaurant provides wonderful New Mexican food. Staff is so welcoming and friendly. For us, this is a must stop place on our trips to New Mexico.

Terrible food and poor service. They got the order wrong and had to remake it twice. Two meals out of three we ordered were cold. I asked for them to do something about the cold food, they refused to do anything to rectify the situation. Will never return.

Decent NM Mexican food. Carne adobada is delicious. Salsa was yummy, but the chips were stale. Huevos rancheros was ok.

It was just a great place and a great breakfast. Couldn't resist ordering a special from the specials board -- Huevos Rancheros with Carne Adovada with red sauce. The eggs, ordered over easy, were perfectly over easy. The beans were tasty with just the right amount of chew. The Carne Adovada was pulled rather than in chunks. The texture was tender and succulent. The sauce was right on with its flavor. It was not hot, but it had a nice chile-ness. The hash browns, not something I am used to with this dish, were cooked to a nice crisp with interior tenderness. Wish the corn tortilla under it all had been better, but that was minor. The side of flour tortillas was spectacular. They were freshly homemade and had a nice amount of charring from their grilling. Great taste and texture. The interior was clean and well maintained, the kitchen looked spotless, and the server was efficient, kind and considerate. There was nothing to deduct a star for and I can't imagine what they could do to earn any more than the 5 stars they are getting.

Alejandro, his food is awesome! But his personality is even better! The huevos rancheros were tasty and done well!

A list of everything wrong with my services at Alejandro's Cafe 1- they gave us something we didn't order and charged us for it 2- they forgot a part of our order 3- One of the items ordered was burnt now im not trying to be rude im just stating the facts the food does not come close to other local new mexican restaurants. This restaurant could have received a better rating had this not been the 3rd time having an issue 1/5 wouldn't recommend to a friend

We really like this place. The service is excellent, the food is excellent. I can't really recommend a particular dish as I have tried a bunch of them and every one is good, Taco Tuesday's, Millies Burrito, huevos rancheros.. It's all good

Ecellant little restaurant. It seems to be a local favorite, but service is fast and the food excellant. Not far off I25. Well worth the small detour.

Tiny little peaceful town on the way to the Very Large Array in Socorro. Friendly service and locals. The best carne adovada I had in the albuquerque area. You can tell there is a lot of love in this place. Delicious.

Huevos Rancheros are fantastic actually everything here is awesome definitely recommend!!!

Very good food. Great service. Wonderful owner and staff. Alejandro can make an excellent vegan burrito and that says a lot. The salsa is to die for. And the great service make this little restaurant worth visiting.

My daughter came in from out of town and my sister told me about Alejandro's so we went there for lunch. OMG! It was amazing! We had the Carne Adovada Enchilada plate. The carne adovada was amazing and moist. Some restaurants serve it really dry. It was perfect! The red chile is very tasty with a little heat! I loved the rice. You go to other restaurants in Belen and its watery or over cooked. This rice was fluffly and the perfect sauce. And finally, you get amazing huge sopapillas with your meal! This will be my go to place from now on for Mexican food!

The pozole and huevos rancheros were excellent. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great meal for a reasonable price. The chile was spicy and the food was hot. The waitresses were friendly and efficient. Great place!

I had the breakfast burrito, it was really good! The bf had Huevos Rancheros which he really liked, he got menudo to go and said it was one of his faves :)

Alejandro is the nicest hardworking short order cook I know. Our family has been visiting Alejandro's for the last few years. His family restaurant is welcoming and friendly. The service is very good with friendly smiles and often a personal hand shake from Alejandro reminding customers of his gratitude. His food is delicious and his burritos are to die for. It is honestly the best burrito I ever had. And he always makes it custom to my liking. The salsa is incredible. I thank my friends Tody and Gloria for introducing us to this wonderful restaurant. Our 8 year old son enjoys the "Mickey Mouse" pancakes. Thank you Alejandro for making Belen a better place.

Very good food, busy at lunchtime, I like spicy and it was spicy. I would come back for sure.

Being in Belen and trying to find a quality meal is not easy. Until now. With a menu designed for a quick breakfast or lunch. I've eaten here twice, once carne adovado and today chicken enchiladas. Both times the meal has been perfect. You can taste the authenticity in the food with subtle undertones of a bit of pork in the beans. Heat is right on in the chile very well done. The price, how about chicken enchiladas with rice, beans, chips and salsa and sopapillas with an ice tea for less than 8.50. The perfect lunch.

I am a native New Mexican who now lives in Colorado Springs, CO. This place was REAL New Mexican food. Incredible... delicious... great service. Thank you!

Some of the very best carne adovada I've had and to top it off it was carne adovada huevos! Some of the best salsa I've ever eaten too; and they will sell it by the quart to take home if you ask.

Very good stuffed sopapilla for lunch. The restaurant is very clean with friendly staff.

I ordered huevos rancheros with green chile, flour tortillas, and over-hard eggs. I got red chile, corn tortillas... and over-hard eggs! I love a place that knows how to cook their eggs. It makes up for the mistakes in the order. Not what I wanted, but yummy.

Delicious! I had their chicken egg and green chili skillet and it was sooo good. Also very clean, which is very important as well. Check it out!

Love this place. I have trouble not ordering the same thing every time. Millie's burrito is awesome. My wife usually has enchiladas or tacos. We had chile cheese fries once with steak on top. Spectacular!
