I stayed at this hotel once in July 2025 with my young baby while traveling from Geneva to visit my uncle in central Germany. I arrived close to midnight, and unfortunately my booking through a third-party site didn’t show up in their system, even though I had the confirmation on my phone. The staff, however, were extremely apologetic, empathetic (especially seeing me with a tired baby so late at night), and very solution-oriented. They quickly resolved the issue and made sure I had a room without stress. The breakfast the next morning was excellent, and throughout my stay everyone I encountered was both friendly and efficient.
But the real reason I’m writing this review is not just about the comfort or efficiency—it’s about the humanity behind their service. Recently, I booked again at this hotel for another trip to see my uncle. Sadly, after making the reservation, I received the heartbreaking news that he had already passed away. Although my booking was technically non-refundable, I reached out to the hotel directly to explain the situation. They responded with kindness and understanding, swiftly granting me a free cancellation.
To me, this shows that this is a hotel that truly values people over profit. They are not only service-oriented when you are there as a guest, but also deeply human-oriented when unexpected life events occur. For that, I am deeply grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend them.
