"This Black-owned neighborhood cafe and pastry shop, which is open for takeout and delivery Tuesday through Saturday, is known for their sandwiches. While a good sandwich may be the quickest way to put a smile on our face, the all-day breakfast, specifically the French toast, is the main attraction. The slices of French toast are thick, perfectly sweet, and are mixed with cinnamon. And whether you stick with the seasonal berry compote that comes with each batch or drown your slices in maple syrup, you can’t go wrong." - Candis R. McLean

The epitome of a fantastic local business. Love all of the pictures of the owners family and customers on the walls. A welcomed difference from most corporate run restaurants. This gem deserves every five star review on here! The French toast, phenomenal. The omelette, superb. Good portions and reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back!

Quintessential cafe with a variety of good eats. Breakfast is served all day which is a true delight! This cafe might be hard to spot as its located behind a tree and adjacent to a cemetery. There’s outdoor sitting and friendly faces with welcoming smiles. I order the house brewed tea and a breakfast sandwich. Turkey products available, along with daily specials. Stop by and support this amazing cafe!

Love it! Stopped in 1st time, for late breakfast/lunch. Sat outside at a table under a nice shade tree. We ordered breakfast sandwich, chicken salad sandwich, ice tea. All were delicious. Super nice staff! Prices are very reasonable too! Definitely going back often!

1. Allowed non-wearing mask man to come inside and place order and upon returning still did not have a mask. 2. The breakfast bowl was very much not their best option. I have never seen such juicy eggs, sausage, peppers and hard potatoes in one meal. 3. Asked if I wished to give a tip. Tips are given for service. I stood gave order at table, order was fulfilled...end of story. I have been a server for 3 years. 4. The place is very quaint, clean and appealing 5. The atmosphere is friendly 6. May have been bad day but I won't return.

To be honest I would pay double for everything here. The quiche is, without a doubt, the best quiche I have ever had. The French toast was life changing. Every pastry is delicious. I rarely post reviews but this place (unassuming from the front) is a real treasure. You’d be remiss to come to the area and not stop by.

Delicious breakfast. I love the cozy, tiny historical building, but the food steals the show. The quiche is fantastic! The team is also wonderful. So glad this little spot is in my neighborhood.

Just amazing you have to meet the Pastry Chef and try her Pastries. To die for and so fresh/seasonal. Will be returning!

We came across this cafe on a rainy afternoon. I ordered the chicken club sandwich and my husband ordered the breakfast bowl. The sandwich was really good! I need to know where they get their bread. However, we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast bowl. The potatoes were a bit cold/not hot. But we got a sweet potato cheesecake and it was so delicious. I would come back and try again.
