Aleria Restaurant

Had an amazing meal our last night in Athens. We were seated in the back garden that was serene and very atmospheric. Service was attentive and warm without being pretentious. You could choose 5, 6 or 7 courses. We chose 6 and wine pairing. The food was perfection, every course was unique. It was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The wines were extremely well chosen, the sommelier’s well curated taste were evident in every wine pairing. They had a vegetarian option as well. We especially appreciated that they were able to accommodate our son who has celiac disease and their gluten-free house made bread was delicious. This is a wonderful special occasion dinner, highly recommend. It was expensive but they delivered.

Each course was phenomenal with so much depth. The wine pairings were also excellent with much thought and knowledge behind each one. The spirit selection was excellent, in general. My wife and I enjoyed every bite and every sip! To top it all off, the service was second to none. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Athens.

The ambiance effortlessly balanced sophistication with warmth—dimmed lighting, tasteful décor, and a gentle hum of conversation that set the stage for what turned out to be one of the finest dining experiences I’ve ever had. I had the pleasure of enjoying a 7-course tasting menu and the evening was truly unforgettable. Each course was beautifully crafted, balancing creativity, flavor, and presentation in a way that felt both refined and deeply satisfying. What truly elevated the experience, though, was our server, Panos. His service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional. The pacing was perfect, the ambiance elegant yet relaxed, and the entire evening felt like a seamless journey through modern Greek gastronomy. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a standout fine dining experience in Athens— Go to Aleria and ask for Panos!

We loved every single dish in both the vegetarian and meat tasting menus. They also easily accommodated my allergy. The meal ended with a pleasant surprise that we were not expecting and they also added a few dishes over and beyond our tasting menu. It was fantastic.

What an amazing experience to eat at Aleria! The staff is very attentive and polite, their outdoor seating is magical, and the food is delicious! I had a great birthday here ☺️

I’ve given this restaurant a chance twice and to be honest I love the vibe but not the food. I dont know, i feel like the menu always has a strange combination of food and the portions are a bit funny- no twist whatsoever. Also, TERRIBLE cocktails but thats fine I guess it’s not a bar after all. Anyway its a good place to try out but not a favorite of mine even though the service is spectacular!

The booking process was smooth. When we arrived they knew exactly our requirements and were always very attentive to explain the tradition, concept and ingredients of all dishes. We were particularly impressed by the catch of the day, the lamb and of course the dessert. But the overall tasting experience was outstanding. Also the wines recommended by the sommelier were great additions. I'd recommend this fine dining experience to anyone spending some time in Athens.

A Michelin star-like night. The chef is talented and innovative with his dishes. He taps into different textures to offer clever dishes. The ingredients are served in ingenious ways. The waiters are watchful and meticulous. Also, the menu has various options for vegetarians.
