ALERO RESTAURANT!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Alero Restaurant and it was an incredibly memorable experience. The Mexican nature, aesthetics, and cooking are extremely rich. What's more, the restaurant offers a variety of vegan-friendly options, which is always a plus in my book.
It's said that for centuries, the people of Mexico have harvested the gifts of the soil: corn, chilies, fresh vegetables, and natural spices. It is this harmony with nature that gives Mexican cooking its rich and natural flavors. For over twenty years, Alero Restaurant has taken great pride in their food and service. They invite us, "their amigos" - old and new - to sit back, relax, and enjoy your dining experience.

When I visited Alero Restaurant, it was late afternoon and the restaurant wasn't crowded, but there were definitely people there. The restaurant is spacious and has outside seating, so seating is never a problem. I decided to sit outside and take in the atmosphere. The decor is unique and reflects the culture of the restaurant.
I was craving a salad, so I ordered the taco salad bowl. I also ordered a margarita because it was happy hour. I put salt and lime on the rim of the glass before even trying it, and it made the drink so much better. To top it off, they gave me a mini shot with my drink, but I'm not complaining! The food was delicious, and the drink was just as amazing. The presentation of the food was also impressive and added to the overall dining experience.
Overall, my experience at Alero Restaurant was one of the best I've had in Washington D.C. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area.
