We visited this seafood restaurant yesterday. The place is very small, and the atmosphere inside felt uncomfortable — the tablecloths were wrinkled, and the glasses had some kind of white residue on them. The servers were friendly enough, but they kept forgetting things — glasses, sauces, and other small details.
The most unpleasant part was the visible dust on the windowsills everywhere, which gave the overall impression of poor cleanliness. Since we were invited by friends, we decided to stay, but later we even found a piece of something like a sponge in the food. The staff quickly removed it, apologized, and replaced the dish — though I’m not sure if they actually prepared a new one or just took it away. On top of that, one of the kids had an ant floating in their drink. Clearly, sanitation needs serious improvement.
As for the food, I would rate it a 3–4 out of 5 overall. The scallops were very good — tender and nicely cooked. The spaghetti with meatballs, however, were a big disappointment. The meatballs were tasteless, extremely dry, and each one was the size of a fist, making them nearly impossible to eat. Desserts also didn’t impress: the chocolate cake looked big but tasted bad, and my child didn’t eat it. We later learned it was gluten-free, but no one informed us. It was so hard and dry that it was almost impossible to break. The fruit cake was more or less fine.
Overall, I would give this place a 3 out of 5, maybe 3.5 at best. They really need to work on cleanliness and order inside, because the lasting impression was below expectations.
