Boston Restaurant Openings, December 2022 - Eater Boston

"A new Haitian American restaurant, Alex Good Taste, has opened in Stoughton. Owner Alexandra Armond launched the spot with an all-day menu that includes Haitian favorites like griot (marinated and fried pork), kalalou (a gumbo), and pate kode (a breakfast patty packed with fillings like hot dogs and peppers), alongside eggs, waffles, burgers, salads, and wraps." - Erika Adams

$27 for Haitian spaghetti and a patty. First time having Haitian food. Not sure what I expected but not my cup of tea

First of all, The food always give me a headache, no sure why but the fact that you have to wait, ALWAYS!!! Extra time in between 20-30 min after you already gave them one hour to have your food ready! Sorry but this is not a first. I give it a try but I am probably never ordering again from them, also my pork was just fat and bones, like what???? Why in the world they leave a giant bone in there, like that was half of my plate! They need to do better.

I live in the area & always have a hard time finding authentic hatian food. I found this place on google. The food was amazing & fresh. The customer service was great. & the timeframe I got my food was amazing. I have been telling everyone about this place I will definitely be back!

Every time I go the Y, they never have any food to serve, they always claim they have no food no matter what day you go but I feel like serve to the Haitian people instead of the white people Alot of people that go the basketball games on Saturday feel the same way they don't want to wait on people and never have food available too and assuming they reach out to the y directly about this too

Food is USUALLY good BUT today was a disappointment. For starters called my order in was told 20 mins it will be ready. When I arrived order wasn’t ready. I had to wait an extra 20-30 mins. I ordered the pate kode and bouyon. The pate Kode was okay. Unfortunately it didn’t taste as good as it did the first two times when I tried it from this restaurant. Today the dough seemed very thick and soggy. As for the bouyon I’ve always had bouyon with beef meat. Today was my first time ordering it from this restaurant. I’m not sure what type of meat was used (I’m thinking some type of animal feet) but while I was inspecting the meat I couldn’t help but notice black hair on the meat. Immediately lost my appetite and threw the soup away. Waste of money today.

The food is delicious! Meats are well seasoned and perfectly fried. Rice is really good! This is the best Haitian restaurant in the area!

Not for me. Way better Haitian restaurants around. The pikliz no good, my griot had hairs, cabrit Is always big pieces so they are not tender. The chicken drum were big like turkey legs. The bean puree is bland. For me it's not worth it. Drive to Brockton for your authentic Haitian cuisine.

Very disappointed to come here at 930a and it be closed , when it states they're opened at 9am. I can't review food, service or atmosphere. Based on gpijg to the business at a time it says opened ans them not be there is why I'm giving this review.

Yelp
So, my friend was telling me about this little diamond in the rough with some good Haitian Food. So, I went to try it out and i was at the YMCA, oconfused I walked in and there was little restaurant in the back. I was greeted by a lady with a smile. I ordered fried turkey, rice and peas, with pikles. The turkey was so good, not hard and dry like some places. Please check it out!

Yelp
They are so unorganized and unprofessional. No one is able to communicate in english. How can you have someone taking orders who doesn't understand and can't speak in english so you can understand
