" This rock ‘n roll-themed spot on Rosecrans Avenue feels like a cross between a Hot Topic and a Mexican torta restaurant. The walls and tables are covered in band posters and they have a small stage in the back where they host bi-weekly musical performances, but you’re mostly here to consume massive sandwiches. If you’re in the mood for lots of meat, get their La Famosa Cubana Torta, which comes loaded with fatty sausage, crispy chorizo, pulled pork, breaded steak, and a slab of ham. You can also build your own torta or just drop by for a basket of fries and some live punk rock. " - nikko duren, sylvio martins

First time purchasing here placed a delivery order of $95 total paid was $100 the reason I’m leaving a review is because as we are eating we noticed the torta Cubana had small specs of mold here and immediately stopped eating but then we take a look at the drink and notice something small and black and as soon we looked at the bottom of the drink was a roach that’s when I everyone stopped eating any of the food purchased disgusting!!

I wanted to give it a try since there was so many great reviews . The tortas were big however the meat had no flavor whatsoever. I had ordered ahead of time and when I arrived my order was not ready . Once the order was ready I only received 1/2 of my order which I realized it Once I started to drive by home. I called and the lady said it was not showing on her end . I told her I was charged almost $43 and I'm able to see it on my end .She then proceeded to tell me that she was able to see it now and she overlooked it. I had to turn around and wait for the rest of my order. We ordered 2 tacos as well 1 al pastor and 1 chicken and they did not even smell like it . It smelled like old oil and obviously we did not eat them . Overall the lady was apologetic but food was not worth the price.

Visiting from out of town. Walked in to order the famous Torta Cubana in size: grande. They have fast service from my experience. The Torta was much bigger than I had anticipated, and it was stacked. I recommend regular size if you dont have a big appetite. The torta is really tasty. Authentic taste, like a real mexican torta. Salsa was on point as well.

This place should have a higher rating. It is a true gem in Compton. You walk inside this hole in the wall and you see posters of classic rock figures such as Kiss, Mana, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The doors and even the popular El Chavo Del Ocho. The service is excellent, the duo there work at a fast pace during the busy lunch hour to get your order ready. I got the torta Cubana which was loaded with milanesa, cheese, weenie, egg, onion, chorizo, ham, lettuce, tomato, in between a big bolio sourced from a local bakery. You this sandwich is massive and you need a partner to help you finish it. I also got to try the California burrito which is loaded with guac, carne asada, French fries, cheese, pico de Gallo, and crema. This place is worth checking out. Specially if you have a big appetite.

I tried this place for the first time on what happened to be their last weekend open. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. I hate to see this place close after such a wonderful experience. I hope they continue their excellent work in some capacity in the future.

So my father who knows all the little spots brought me here. I got the $5.95 burrito…no it is not small. It was so tasty. The Cuban Torta is bomb. This place has all kinds of Antojitos to match your taste.

Saw this place on IG and had to check it out. Drove out on a Saturday night with the familia and dug in!! Had La Famosa Torta Cubana, asada fries, surf-n-turf burrito and La Bamba strawberry pineapple house lemonade. Portions are perfect for husky Latinos but might be a little too much for those watching their weight. Know what I mean? It was pretty damn good and the prices are reasonable. Cool ambiance. Staff is pretty chill and friendly. They will gladly give you suggestions. You gotta check this place out. Keep doing y'all thing. That La Bamba drink tho....💯💯
