Best price and service in town!! I've recently purchased a new Tacoma truck since my poor faithful lexus has reached its lifespan. I messaged Alexandria Toyota and within minutes, Ted Yohannes reached out to me right away. I came to the dealer the following day to look at a couple options on the lot. Then when it came to the numbers, Ted brought in Marcus from the sales team to give the most aggressive and impressive number. Plus rebate and factory discount. If you are looking to get a new ride and price is one of your concerns, come here and ask for Tes and/or Marcus. They will make sure you have options before you leave. Super nice gentlemen. I had the pleasure of working with Darwin and Maverick for the purchase of my new vehicle. I wanted to take my time to write this review because I have a lot of good things to say about my experience specifically with with Mickey Debebe and all the staff at Toyota Alexandria. I lost my dad in 2022 and typically he would be the one I would call when I needed to discuss car, so when I arrived I was a little scared and feeling a bit flustered. But from the moment I drove in everyone was so friendly and showed me where to park. Everyone had a big smile on their face and when I met Mickey he was so patient and helpful, walking through the lot with me to show me the options that fit my budget. He then pulled the Car Fax report of the cars I was interested in and we went on a test drive. He treated me as he would his own daughter and advised me on the best option. He was warm, personable, honest and reassuring. After that I met Maverick Moreno who was a complete delight to work with in finalizing the financial transaction. He calmed my fears about the process. I could not believe my eyes when I drove out with a really pretty Mazda CX-5 which was certainly an unbelievable upgrade from trusty old 2011 Nissan Sentra. The dealership let me park my Nissan there till I could come back a few days later to pick it up. Oh This was a 10/10 experience. You know in the movies, they show American car dealerships as places where you'll meet the most sleezy and dodgy individuals but that is 100% not true with Toyota Alexandria. Every one was great and professional and kind and I can't wait to come back in a few years to upgrade my car. I guess the downside of selling good cars is you may not see your clients again in a long time. I would 100% recommend this dealership especially to young women like me who may be unsure of the buying process. They're absolutely the best! Thanks Guys!!

No one ever enjoys having to purchase a new vehicle. It can be an exhausting, dauting process that can take hours, days or even weeks! HOWEVER, my experience with Alexandria Toyota has made me a believer in a much less painful process! And it's all thanks to Surafel Hunechew (Sales Rep). He was the first person to greet me when I arrived looking for a Toyota 4Runner Limited, and for the next several hours, my experience was quick, effortless, and even fun! When all was said and done, he even drove my new 4Runner to my home while i drove my old one!! Talk about customer service! I would also like to to say thank Hamid Mofidi, the finance manager, for helping me find a lower interest rate than what I walked in pre-qualified for from my own bank!! And Monica, with customer relations, had too much energy for that time of the morning, but she was fun and refreshing! :-) They are a wonderful team at Alexandria Toyota and I would not hesitate to purchase from them in the future!

I've had so many mixed experiences at Toyota dealers and this by far was one of the best. The service advisor I had, James Moore, had the best vibe, concern for service and attentiveness I've ever experienced from a service advisor! The service itself was fast as well, it helps that there's a nice little shopping plaza across the street you can walk around and browse to kill time. They seemed really efficient at getting people through and most importantly, they were never pushy with add ons or additional services. They recommended and explained but never forced it on which makes me personally more likely to come back when I do need more intensive or expensive services just because of that. Thank you! Highly recommend this dealer for Toyota service in the DMV.

Sadly Toyota is not winning any medals on either end of their service provision in my short year experience. My sales experience was negative stars and this parts retail was abysmal. Parts person was solo waiting on someone else when I arrived at 9:38 on a Friday morning. The person was getting work done and basically wasting the persons time by lingering asking for parts he had no plans to purchase. So 15 minutes later he began to wait on me and asked for my vehicles registration to check VIN to match item to OEM. Then he spent the next 25 minutes entering #s into the data base to find both wiper refills ($16 each) and black lug nuts (sold in packs of 6 for $25). It took at least 5 more minutes print the items out for the cashier who had me out the door in 24 seconds flat. It took 30 minutes to retrieve 2 items which I had called about in advance. If this is what this dealership believes "service" looks like, they are blind. Let's not even weigh in on how salty the person who waited on me was. Suddenly after waiting 15 minutes to be waited on, when slow motion Mo began to "help" me, another employee came out to wait on a customer who just arrived and was waited on in 30 seconds after popping up to their counter. Slow Mo had to print out the order so all told, I spent an hour total at this dealership with one person in line ahead of me and all I purchased was the exorbitantly priced wiper refills (thin pieces of rubber which cost Toyota $1.75 and the color matched lug nuts at $25 for 6). I also did not receive a bag so the rubber refills are picking up lint and dog hair from my vehicle as they were not contained in any type of plastic or protective covering. Such a sad excuse for a shop the likely serves the Alexandria VA area which I have called home over 30 yrs.

Hate paying for anything related to my car which I barely ever drive but when something goes wrong this dealership offers excellent customer service. From the person answering the phone to the person greeting me when I drive in --J--the financial pain is made more tolerable by their professionalism and empathetic attitudes. And you can pass the time in the waiting room with free coffee or hot chocolate, tv, and space to work on your computer.

Dane - the salesman. Borderline discriminatory against same sex couples. Misogynistic and condescending. Squared up to me and said "you need to get it through your head" when I was not convinced they had actually fixed the scratches on my car. He implied that the rental I had to use was out of my price range, and even said the scratches were " not that bad" - on a brand new vehicle!? Buying process - we were there until nearly 10:30 pm, arriving before 6. We waited at least an hour and a half just to get our finances looked at, but of course they ran my credit at 8pm so what was I going to do then. We began the paperwork, only to then have to redo the process because they forgot to add in the trade in. They were unwilling to honor the military rebate until we were going to back out of the car. Saying it did not apply to me, although my spouse is active duty and was with me while purchasing the car. Scratches on the car - it looked like the wiped the car with sandpaper. Photo attached. This was attributed to the plastic wrapping that the car is shipped in. Bad paint job - the GM, Thomas Kody, was involved and noted that he has seen this issue with the paint before. He offered me the solution of trading cars for a different color since it was known to be the paint itself. He told me to not speak to anyone else, only him, going forward as he didn't want more people involved. I have emailed him 4 times since this conversation and he has since been unresponsive. I've had this car since March 12 and it's April 26 and I haven't even received a response for my TAGS! The paper tags have been expired over 2 weeks, and again, this dealership is over an hour drive for me to just pop in and check. Overall bad experience, these are just the highlights. Wish I would've paid the extra grand and went to Koons.

I researched multiple dealers and looked for positive reviews of sales staff when I started looking for a new car. Alexandria Toyota and Mr. Sangar Rahimi made my short list. I had a very positive experience with Mr. Rahimi. I emailed him and told him what I was seeking, but I was not in a hurry and willing to wait for the right model and trim package. Mr. Rahimi was extremely responsive answering my questions, honest with expectations, and very transparent with pricing. It made the car-buying experience much easier and hassle free, compared to my experiences with other dealers. Also, my interactions with other staff have been very courteous and helpful as well. To be fair and clear, other staff do make a couple of attempts to upsell on packages and warranties, but it was not high pressure. You just need to be comfortable with what you want and don't want and be clear and firm with your needs. I would recommend Mr. Rahimi and Alexandria Toyota as one of the better options to buy a Toyota in the DMV.

Visited Alexandria Toyota for my service appointment and they got me in and out in a timely manner. I showed up a little early for my appointment and they had no issues getting me checked in. Once I was checked they had a roomy waiting room with comfortable chairs. Complete with a coffee machine and a TV on for you to watch while you wait for your vehicle to be done. Once my vehicle was completed they have valet services for you and someone brings your car around for pickup. Can't recommend them enough for your next service change great customer service and care done.

It was a seamless process to replace my car mirror cap. I ordered two parts and they came asap; like the next business day. Thomas Ramey, Assistant Service Manager, went above and beyond to replace my toyota mirror cap and provide me with parts knowledge for future reference. I had an excellent experience here. The worst service I can imagine. Came from Teslas , Acura, chevy etc and with a growing family and family being big on Toyotas I figured hey let's give it a shot to see if it's worthwhile. Started communication with Dane who is on the sales floor, and at glance relatively nice guy took the time to explain stuff as best as he could. There were some things that he wasn't familiar with, and clearly did say he did not know which is fine was looking at a 2024 Toyota RAV4 XLE. Overall, the car looked OK. It was a bit dirty so I wasn't really able to get a clear depiction of what the car look like. Regardless of it being new whether their significant scratches, etc. wasn't clear. Once we started the sales transaction is where everything went downhill the salesman Dane Had to go back-and-forth in communication with his manager because his manager did not have the realization that it's a bit more appropriate to come to the desk, 14 hour customer impression, and two for his employee. . I count maybe five different times where he had to go back-and-forth and the manager never once came by, which left a really bad taste in my mouth. Going through the customer negotiation process they have the audacity to imply we are wasting time and are not really here to get the car if we decide to come back Monday, and was not giving us a clear price sheet with the updated negotiation, which at first they said their worry is, may take that and go to another dealership. Which we explained hey we're here to make a sale. It's your job to make this worthwhile for us so we can get this squared away We had an agreed amount of what this new car would be out the door and basing my potential car as a trade-in by market value would give us the respective cost . Now coming the next day being that it was a bit dirty I asked the salesman. Hey can you please give it a wash just so I can see it in his state which he assured me yes, we'll do so. Afterwards the assessor for the trade-in had a very obnoxious type of demeanor, which the salesman said he doesn't allow certain things to happen as I wanted to watch as the person assess the car which doesn't really make the most sense, because when we get into a test drive, they sit in with us and this is my property, what harm that do but that gave me a clear visualization of how they interact as a team. The assessor parked my car horribly and stood in the car, more than what was needed on a phone call, which we eventually got my keys back and once we got to the desk to my wife and I dismay, they lowered the price of the car for the trade-in basing it by calling another dealership on what they would sell the car at . Which had me in a Mental main matrix how the hell is that an accurate price by calling the dealership where I purchased the car at? Where is Kelley Blue Book other sites to verify trend in the area where this car is being sold at . The rep then says oh we don't use Kelley Blue Book and I already knew what the intention was to try to scam us out of our true value for the car to get more money for potential finance, which is clearly obvious as we had an agreed to price out the door two days prior. Then, at my wits end decided we did not want to move forward and day. The salesman says oh let me get my manager at this point there's nothing the manager can do as the manager never came at any point prior and what differences it's gonna do with this ridiculous logic of trying to call the dealership where the car was purchase at to verify what it's cost is . Then say we don't know what the price of Acura is but they have a Porsche on their lot certified, which contradicts the whole point many dealerships sell cars as used that they do not deal in. Then the salesman says hey, I tried to accommodate you all with you all's baby, etc. which really made me mad because we are here as a customer. Our baby has nothing to do with anything you didn't accommodate anything you are here to work for us as we're here to buy a car . He then says to wash your car as an accommodation lol don't buy a car here. All in all they look as customers as an inconvenience rather then a convenience. Dane and management need to work on there customer services 1 on 1 just thought for DANE to say they accommodated our baby because we had to come back another day is a lack of respect and makes no sense. DO NOT BUY HERE AND GET BETTER

Be aware of the hidden fees when you trade in your car at Toyota Alexandria. I traded in my car and had a new Toyota Car waiting to be delivered at Toyota Alexandria. I was given a loaner car to drive in the meantime. However, the date of arrival for the new car kept changing. I was concerned that I would not get a car at all. On the day that the new car was supposed to be delivered, I was told that it would be delayed. I was then told that I would be charged for the loaner car for the entire time that I had it, even though the delay was not my fault. I tried to talk to the dealership about this, but they were very rude and unhelpful. They told me that I would not get my deposit back and that I should "talk to my lawyer" if I had a problem. I am very disappointed with the way I have been treated by Toyota Alexandria. I have been a loyal Toyota customer for many years, and I am very disappointed that I have been treated this way. I would not recommend Toyota Alexandria to anyone. They keep changing their story to suit their own interests, which is unprofessional. They will charge you for things that you are not responsible for, and they will not be helpful if you have a problem. Here are some tips for avoiding this situation: Get everything in writing. Make sure that you understand all of the terms of the deal before you sign anything. Be aware of the hidden fees.

My significant other and I took a day trip to come up to northern VA to look at some cars he had picked out online. We started our day around 10 am at Jack Taylor's Toyota, and we met with Sangar. He promptly greeted us, and had the most kind & patient demeanor. He was not pushy or in a rush at all- he made us feel like family friends, and answered any questions we had. We took the Toyota for a test drive, immediately liked it, and then left to go check out other cars on our list. We did not get the same service anywhere else that we looked at cars. The car was great, but Sangar's service & hospitality was really the selling point! We went back the next day and discussed the car more, took it for one more quick spin, and then closed the deal. This Toyota dealership is lucky to have this man to represent the Toyota company. His service literally went above and beyond. I'm so glad we didn't buy with anyone else or anywhere else! If you're heading this way, definitely ask for Sangar by name.

One star both because they sold me a car with a bunch of problems AND because they have horrible customer service. I had my 2016 Honda for literally less than a week when the plastic undercarriage completely came off. THEN, LITERALLY THE NEXT WEEK, the anti-theft car alarm would not stop going off at random times. I called this dealer to see if they would be able to cover it (considering I paid extra to go to a dealer with all of those extra fees to quite literally avoid this exact thing of random issues) and first they transferred me multiple times--with no one seeming to know what to do or who I should talk to--to transferring me to a voice mail and then never actually getting back to me. Sh*tty service, sh*tty cars. You should purchase a used car off of Facebook Marketplace instead. At least there, you know what you're getting without all the falsity of being helped/taken care of and cheaper prices, too. Worst dealer experience ever.

I can't say enough good things about both the dealership and customer service center at Jack Taylor Toyota. I have now purchased three different Toyota Highlanders from them, and every time they have given me the best deal of any of the local dealerships. Their service is also so honest and trustworthy. I have been to Toyota dealerships in both Fairfax and Arlington, and in both instances they tried to upsell me, suggesting I spend money on additional maintenance or repairs that were not necessary. That has never happened to me at Jack Taylor Toyota. I went in again today for an oil change. Not only did they do an oil change, but they also identified a nail in my tire and fixed it for almost free. I told him I was going on a car trip to Virginia Beach, and my service rep Thomas Ramey spent extra time making sure everything in my car was in working order. My safety inspection was expired and they did an inspection; my wheel alignment was off (so many potholes in DC!) and they fixed that as well. My tire pressure was low and they filled my tires. Overall, I have been going to them since my first Toyota purchase in 2006 as a broke 22 year old, and they have always treated me with respect and honesty.

I was in this contact for 6 months with the dealer and was finally able to get my car with exact same spec. The good thing about the dealer is that they sell at MSRP but beware they force you to get the exterior/interior protection package which how this they make there money. I took an uber in to purchase the but was told it wasn't ready but they made up for it by paying for my uber home and delivering my car since I live an hour away. Last thing was that they forgot to the safety inspection. Overall they have great customer service but they need to communicate better.

We went jack Taylor dealer In root one to check our toyota 2015 prius, service person Thomas he said you need about 3200 dollars to fixed booster brakes cylinder and pomp booster And we said give us diagnostic print out, and he refused to give us the prined results of our car, then he said we don't give any more because we are new ownership and we don't have old systems any more..then he got mad on us, Finally we west our money because of these new a ownership, after that we have to go through another diagnostic check another toyota dealer and pay another 188 dollars . I call to talk service manager he never responded to me, no general manager available...any more complaints to the new ownership, because they don't have chian of command everyone is is own boss, that is why I don't recommend the new ownership our families and friends to do any business to the jack Taylor dealer Alexandria VA...

I bought a car from this place 3 years ago and they gave me bunch of coupons which includes free car wash. Went there today and used my free car wash coupon. This picture is after they washed my car 2 times. First time it was worse and i asked and showed them my car. Then somebody washed it again. I guess the reason is i had a coupon but why they gave me those coupons in first place if they treat me like this. I gave them 3 stars because their sales people and front desk people are actually nice. Otherwise, it would be 1 star. I have an idea for you guys. Just don't give those coupons, then nobody need to waste their time. Also, if you have that free car wash coupon don't ever think about to use it. Because they just spray water that is it. Shame on you guys who did this job. Stupid me because i thought toyota is professional in their all levels.

The service was fine but, several weeks after I visited their business, they mistakenly charged me for the work done to another car. I spent several months trying to get a refund to no avail. Now my credit card company is disputing the charge on my behalf. Go somewhere else.

Very specific review for using the service department for state requirements only: I come here for emissions and safety inspections because I can walk home during the wait. I like that you can 'wait' but still walk away (you could shop across the street, they call you when it's ready) and the employees have always been super nice. It's even dog friendly and my very good boy loves the affection and treats he gets while we're checking in and checking out. Absolutely no complaints here, but again, my use case is very limited in scope.

My husband and I came in here on a Saturday and returned on a Tuesday with a new 2018 RAV4 in black currant (purple)! The sales team is kinda forceful (they hit you when you walk in the door, actually before you walk in the door) but the salesperson we had, Al, was great. He wasn't pushy and gave good information about their products and services. We weren't thrilled with the financing options (my husband and I have great credit) so that's why I dinged them with 4 as opposed to 5 stars. I also found the finance specialist to be one who didn't listen to our needs (kept trying to upsell on products we were clearly not interested in) but I guess that's car sales for you. Overall I think they are reasonably priced, we price matched in the area and the price could not be beat. We have a new car and left happy. A small note for management: the coffee is not great and the powdered creamer leaves a lot to be desired. I think a few upgrades here would make visiting the dealership a little more pleasant :)

The whole experience was the easiest i've ever had when buying a car. contacted the dealership at 4:30 about a car I saw on cars.com... showed up to the dealership an hour later where Mickey Dedebe had everything ready in the event we were to buy. The car was washed, fueled, financing and numbers were all set up. No negotiation needed, top dollar on trade, below kbb on sale, and interest rate in the 2%'s right off the bat. Highly recommend the dealership and specifically Mickey and the financing gentlemen was great. Hope to deal with again and hope every car buying experience is this well. I bought a car there last month. Went in there to put a deposit on a corolla. This clown show is now adding a disguised market adjustment over MSRP. Other dealerships charge a market adjustment and then give you free "packages". This place tells you no market adjustment then tells you that you have to buy an Auto Armor Package. The other weird thing is that they have to make sure they can sell to you based on what part of Alexandria. I guess based on skin color? No idea why I needed to get the OK to talk about buying a car.

We have been using Jack Taylor Toyota for our 2004 and 2009 Priuses, even though we now live in Mt. Vernon. We originally bought the 2004 from this dealer. We have been very pleased with the service and support, especially in the service department. Manny Rivera has been our service technician over these many years. We trust his advice, and he has been outstanding in his support. This time was no exception. We have only been to Jack Taylor for service, and we only ask for Manny. Hubs says he gives five-star service.

Went in on august 18, 2023 looking for some new RAV4 hybrids/ primes. We were greeted immediately after coming in and our salesman was very nice and helpful. Prices looked good with no commission fees. This is where the good ends. We were told that it would be at least a 6 month wait for a new rav4 hybrid and that no rav4 primes were being sold in VA. We were also told that we couldn't even customize a rav4- just wait and hope one would come in that we would be fine with. Amount and selection of cars was not anything worth talking about, but the customer service side of things was fantastic. If you are looking for any rav4s, maybe try another dealership. Seeing all the good reviews for this place makes me disappointed to make this low one.

Traveling from Arizona and needed 5000 mile service on my 2022 Highlander, also while on the road another vehicle in front of me struck an orange construction barrel causing it to come in my lane. Damage done to my front underside. At the dealer they were extremely helpful in securing everything so I could finish my trip and completely repair all when I return home. Kudos to MOHAMMED the service advisor who worked with me. He took a big load off of my mind as I have a long trip ahead of me. Jim Brotherton (Sales Manager) and Mike Nguyen (General Sales Manager) were always open and honest (within reason of course) throughout the buying process. They clearly communicated all variables at play to ensure there was no gap in expectations between us. They kept me informed throughout with regards to the timelines and made sure I was ok with the wait. The vehicle arrived much earlier than the estimated timelines and I was kept informed throughout. Within a few hours of the vehicle arriving at the dealership, it was made ready for pickup and all the paperwork was organized seamlessly, painlessly, and without any stress. Sales Manager Jim Brotherton and General Manager Mike Nguyen were completely excellent and went above and beyond for me. I can say this because at one point, my vehicle was not going to have 'spare tire" which was a deal-breaker criteria for me. But I still wanted to take the vehicle as I had waited a while and the spare tires were in short supply according to Toyota when I asked the dealer why my order was without a spare tire. But Mike and Jim went on calls with Toyota and within 16 hours confirmed to me in writing that the production schedule was updated "with spare tire". They then called the day or prior to the production day to ensure everything was on track. This is truly going above and beyond and surely the best experience I have had in the past 15 years of buying motorcycles and cars. I recently purchased a 2022 RAV4 Hybrid from Jack Taylor's Alexandria Toyota and I could not be happier. Mickey Debebe, the Sales Consultant who assisted me with my purchase, was extremely helpful and not too pushy. Before going to Jack Talyor's, I test drove the RAV4 at the Koons dealership in Arlington. The SUV was great, but they tried to sell me the same vehicle for $5000+ over MSRP. I purchased the same vehicle from Mickey at Jack Taylor's for MSRP, which save me the extra 5k. I highly recommend this dealership if you live in the DC area.

I went there for regular service on my 2022 Toyota. Waited for 2hrs When I check if the work was completed they lost the paper and has no clue if the work was done even where the car was. They gave me back with the old sticker on. No paper work what they did. This so unprofessional the service manger was very rude if you go there careful follow up. They might forget you till closing.

Pretty standard 50k maintenance during a snow storm two weeks ago, so while I was very appreciative of the needed service I drove my car from VA to OH where it is 16° only to find out that these guys used WATER instead of regular 2$ BLUE washer fluid for wipers to top them off. Now I cannot use my wipers until the water unfreezes which could take a while. Unbelievable of them to try to pinch pennies this way. Not only is it cheap to use real washer fluid, but it's UNSAFE to use freaking water!! DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE!!

Jack Taylor Toyota charges $140.00 to check the "check engine" light. I just learned that I can go to AutoZone and get a reading on the light for FREE. Wish I had known that earlier.

This place is terrible! DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE. I went in for an oil change. Got told one amount - got a receipt for said amount and at the end of the day was charged an additional $30 in supplies and fees that was not on the bill! Then a diagnostic I was told was free ended up being charged for. This place used to be reliable but not they are dishonest about their practices and upcharge you in an egregious way. I will never be back here and I encourage you to go somewhere trustworthy and reliable.

Test drove and got a pretty good quote for a new 2020 Prius. Would have purchased the car here but (1) Jack Taylor only had a premium color that cost more and was not willing to match the price from another dealer but on a non-premium color Prius, understandable and (2) we thought the trade in price Jack Taylor gave was a little low compared to estimates we found online. Did our due diligence and got another quote for the trade in from another dealership, who gave a price that was double the price Jack Taylor offered. Ended up buying the Prius at another dealership because I was pretty certain Jack Taylor would not be able to increase the trade in price. Overall, the staff here are professional and the location is great. Will be coming here for servicing in the future because it's close.
