Wow. If you love a proper buffalo chicken cheesesteak, do yourself a favor and go here. I have sampled many over the years from different places and this one tops them all. The other reviews of this place are right. This is real deal. What makes this one stand out is the balance and the flavor. There’s a great balance of buffalo sauce to meat and cheese, but also the chicken itself is seasoned very well on its own. Then there’s the wings. Another wow. I opted for mild sauce. Just the right amount of heat with the usual zing. What stands out here is the chicken. Every wing was very well cooked. Each piece was coated in a batter and nicely crispy even 40 minutes after being cooked. This is the way all wings should be. Definitely delicious!

Great big wings, amazing sauces, and amazing cheese steaks. I was in the area for business as we are from North NJ. Not only the food was great, the staff was very nice. And if you’re an Eagles fan this place makes you feel like you’re at home. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area!

This is a great place if you're in the mood for an amazing steak sandwich and/or some wings. We've ordered from here a few times already and have not been let down at any point. The steaks are delicious. The wings are pretty large, too. I definitely feel like I get my money's worth when we order from here. The staff has been kind and helpful with great attitudes every time we visit this establishment. Do yourself a favor, and give them a try.

Alex’s steaks has to be the best steak sandwich served right now in Montgomery County. Delicious bun filled to the extreme with so much steak and an amazing amount of cheese. HIGHLY recommend !!!

Great burgers, seriously. The roll was fresh and soft but substantial. The meat was cooked just right, juicy with a good texture. It came with lettuce, tomato and onion. The hostess is very pleasant and the owner, Alex, is very personable. The wings are very good and there are a variety of sauces. I want to try the mango habanero, the suicide was good.

Eagle cheesesteak was pretty good! Loved the Wiz cheese, and the portions were huge. Steak could have had a bit more flavor for my taste, but I would order it again. The old bay wings were below average (I'm from MD, so I know my old bay). Not sure how the wings were fried, but the coloring was off, and again, flavor was just ok. It's a small shop, so make sure to call in your order. Service was very fast, and employee was friendly! I would recommend for a solid cheesesteak in the area!

Def one of the best cheesesteaks in the area! We wanted to sample, so we got cheesesteak, buffalo chk steak, ceaser wrap, wings and fries! Buffalo chicken -meat was good chuck juicey chicken but sandwich was heavy cheese/blue cheese, then Buffalo. Ceaser wrap was decent Fries very good! Wings are breaded, go with the recommendation of sauce on the side to toss at home.

This place is hands down the best food you can get in the area! The owner is also so kind and really puts his heart into his customer service and food! I highly recommend the wraps and cheese steaks they are out of this world

Cheesesteaks are AMAZING!!! As good or even better than Dalessandro's without the drive to Philly! The Wings are also the BEST!! Large, Crispy, and flavorful!! I've never tried anything else in the menu because the cheese steaks are so delicious!!

Very clean, quick service! I ordered a 911 cheesteak online for my husband. It was ready within ten minutes. Cheesteak was cooked perfectly! Not the best cheesteak we've ever had but definitely delicious! Would 100% order again.

Heard about this place and wanted to see how it compared to some of the new, hot cheesesteak places that are popping up in the area like Angelo's and Del Rossi's in Philly. Not sure what it was but the cheesesteak did not impress me quite as much as those other places I've eaten at - especially considering the price. I might give it another shot. It was good but just not overly impressive as I had expected.

This place is tough. Super Bowl weekend, new spot, tons of orders. They kinda nailed it! I placed an order a day or so before the game for a 5:30 pick up day of. I walked it, gave my number, and my food was picked up at 5:33. Well done. Seems like the line of folks waiting weren't angry, upset, or waiting a while for their food. They were also taking orders in real time on game day. Roughly a 45 min wait. Good deal for ordering day of. Any who, onto the grub. What we snagged: -20 Wings (HUGE, meaty, and worth the price) -2 Cheese steaks with FO and cooper sharp on a seeded roll (GREAT flavor on the meat, melted well with the cheese, and the bun was nice. It was soft, but I ain't complaining. Love a soft bun) Overall, we'll 1000% be back. It's down the street and it has a great hometown vibe. I wouldn't say it's on par with the Angelo's (Philly) of the world, but good for the burbs.

Cheesesteaks are bar none the best in this area. Solid steak without having to go into Angelo's or JRP in Philly.

I see a lot of judgement on past reviews and would just say this. Not every place needs a Zagat review, or someone posting about their own inefficiencies and misunderstandings of how credit card processors work in 2025. Best cheesesteak in the area. Large menu. Ran by a great person running a great service.

Went there and it took a little while. But when I got home and opened my wings!!!!! Wow they are big, juicy and taste great.Then I opened my cheese steak and again wow!!! Lots of meat but not too much and everything was mixed together perfectly on the seeded fresh roll. It was great. Thanks

NOTE: Be prepared to pay extra if using a credit card. They should waive the fee when your total is over a certain amount. The steaks are okay, but not on the level of Angelo's in South Philly. I found the wings to have too much coating, but my man liked them enough. The burgers were fine for the price. The salad was not great, but what one would expect from a cheesesteak place. I like that you can also visit Corropolese in the same shopping center while waiting for your order and pick up a tomato pie. Overall, it's not great, but better than driving 45 minutes to Philly.

I got a cheesesteak that was small for its price. The fries for my cheese fries were half cooked, soggy and nasty. I had heard good things about Alex's and was REALLY disappointed.

Had 6 wings for lunch. Jumbo wings. Very crispy. Choice of dry rub or wet sauce. Delicious. No seating. Fee for credit card. No fee for debit card. The difference is whether the bank charges the retailer.

This new wing & sandwich shop is by corpolese. Due to the shops proximity it would be nice if they used corpolese rolls because the seeded roll offered was good but not corpolese good. For me personally, I love the giant 18" rolls that corp makes for a steak sandwich and would like to see that option available moving forward. The giant steak sandwich is king. As far as the construction of the sandwiches. The cooper sharp Cheese wasn't melted through out the meat evenly, the fried onions were sparse, & even though there was a lot of meat, there wasn't enough seasoning & was a bit dry. The broccoli bites & cheese fries were delicious. The wings were breaded & tasted good. The sauce was flavorful. Cheesesteak (911) w/ & long hots was a fair 6/10. Cheesesteak w/ onions & pickles 6.5/10 Cheesesteak w/ LTO & mayo 7/10 Cheesesteak 6.5/10 Might venture back in a couple months to see if the kinks have been ironed out & if a king cheesesteak sandwich has been added.

Found this place on the Cheesesteak site on Facebook although I only live a couple miles away. I got a cheesesteak with mushrooms and onions and is the best cheesesteak I've had in my very long memory. I've found my cheesesteak place and have gotten them before from the entire surrounding area. This is the best! I will search no more forever.

Alex makes the best steak in the area no doubt. Too notch service. Generous portion sizes and uses high quality meat/rolls Steak is sliced down fresh in house daily, doesn't get fresher than that. I'll keep coming back!

The reviews are all over the place- but we just had it for the first time and really liked it. Hubby went in to place his order. Got a cheesesteak with fried onions, cooper sharp and peppers. The sandwich fed both of us and was delicious- better than I've had in years. Maybe they saw the comment about the gristle and bone bc today's sandwich was packed with nothing but flavorful, tender meat. I love a sesame roll- typically like it a bit crunchier but the softness actually let me compress the sandwich to take a bite. Fries with seasoning were crisp and tasty. Going to withhold a fifth star because I still want to check out the wings and then if they're just as good I'll be bumping it up.

The cheesesteak and burgers here are fantastic, not a long wait time, great customer service and very welcoming ! Would recommend

Got some cheesesteaks from here 11/1/24 definitely was not impressed at all with the taste. Just my opinion. I'm sure most people from that area love but I'm from Philly and I'm just use to our cheesesteaks

Top notch cheesesteaks in the Norristown / Lower Montgomery County area! Service and quality is top tier, Alex does things with a smile! Great staff too! Always a consistent order, clean walk in space for ordering, with drink options, and many other options too.

Cheesesteaks here are out of this world, I drive by at least 5 other spots on my way to get one here Fries are great too, favorite appetizer is the fried ravioli, almost addicting

Finally tried Alex's after hearing from several people how good it was. It was great. Cheesesteaks were loaded with meat that was really tender. Cheese was mixed well with the meat. Wings were huge some of the biggest around. Only drawback was the wing sauce could have been spicier. Will be ordering from here again.

The steak is prime rib, NOT some thin shit quality beef. The bread is pillowy soft, NOT tough and rubbery. The cheese is delicious, NOT "cheese flavored product". The owner who is hands-on, is friendly and accommodating. This place is A+++. Definitely worth a visit. Note, this place is currently take-out only. A satiating delicious meal. Very clean interior.

Very good solid cheesesteak. Nice seeded rolls and they don't skimp on the meat. Make sure to pay cash to avoid the 3% additional credit card processing fees. It's minimal but worth noting.

New business opens up in your neighborhood. You check their web page says open until 9pm. Decide to support the new local guy and call to place an order at 7:56 (more than an hour before close) on a Friday night and they say they aren't taking any orders. Clearly they don't want to be successful.

So I tried this place last week after a friend mentioned it being pretty good. He said it was new and I was passing through that neighborhood, and this friend usually has pretty good recommendations on this kinda stuff. So I don't know what happened here but things went horribly wrong. Got the traditional cheesesteak with fried onions. They use Cooper sharp which I typically like so I'm excited. Got it home...looks good...smells good... I'm stoked! First bite... huge piece of gristle I have to remove from my mouth. Second bite... a large piece of bone I almost cracked a tooth on! Now most people prob would've stopped there but I was hungry and I just payed $15 for this so I'm gonna eat it, albeit cautiously now after biting into a bone. Surely this was just a one bite fluke, right? I've seen that before and I guess it just happens sometimes. Wrong! This pattern repeated itself for the ENTIRE steak!! I am not exaggerating when I say that by the time I was finished, at LEAST 1/3 of the sandwich was sitting in the wrapper - all inedible gristle. The kicker though?!! 14 pieces of bone!!! That's not a typo... I pulled 14 considerable sized pieces of bone from my mouth throughout the course of 1 cheesesteak. I should have taken a picture because it truly was unbelievable. Would love to know what/ how this is even possible. I phone ordered my steak at 2:25pm on Jan 10 if anybody working there wants to look into what could've gone wrong that afternoon. I would honestly love to know because in 40 years of eating cheesesteaks I have never had an experience like that. Now here's the thing... the few bites that were completely edible, meaning no hard gristle or (gulp)... bone, were actually pretty decent lol. It's hard to say that with a straight face, but it's honest. I hope there was just some sort of slip-up that happened on that afternoon because hidden in the pile of spit-out gristle/ bone... was potential. But if this is anything close to a common occurrence, this place will not last long because nobody has an experience like I did and goes back for more lol.

Don't be fold by it being a small shop and a small little shopping center, but I'll tell you you guys make the best food. The wings are incredible. The steaks are incredible. I haven't had anything that I didn't like . High quality food steaks are massive wings are outstanding big and juicy! Do Yourself a favor and check this place out !

Tried a cheesesteak and it was the best I have ever had. The seeded roll was so fresh and an abundance of meat made the sandwich so filling. Definitely will eat here again!

Steaks and wings are top notch! Seeded roll, steak was seasoned well, and the cooper sharp sealed the deal. Wings were ordered well done so they were crispy and stood up to all of their many sauces.

confusion when ordering they try to tell you what your name is. you correct it -still get it wrong, eagles steak - loaded , very tasty, seeded roll always preferred over regular ,garlic parmesan steak fries tasty, but very disappointed in size most were bottom of the bag stubs less then 2" long , hunts ketchup & napkins not redly available
