What a hidden gem! I tried this place on a whim based off a picture of birria on a plate with rice and beans. It did not disappoint! I asked for the same plate, bc it wasn't on the menu as a birria plate and showed the waitress a picture. What she returned with was so much more!! I got a huge bowl of birria that was spiced and flavorful and had a small spicy bite to it. The rice appeared plain looking but was cumin spiced and delicious. The refried beans had that perfect blend of bacon, lard, and well seasoned flavor. The waitress was very attentive and spoke both English and Spanish perfectly. Lastly the chips were airy, crispy, and warm. As for the dining area, it was quiet, with low playing relaxing latin music. No annoying accordions... And was very clean and well kept. I enjoyed the authentic decorations on the wall and that there were 2 distinct sides to the restaurant. We spent around $14 per person before drinks, tax, and tip, so $41 total for 2 to have a very filling and delicious lunch. Just all around a great tasting spot that will quickly become a new favorite. Give them a try!

The owner Mirna is fantastic and such a sweet heart she makes sure your food is to standard and beyond and always a great atmosphere! Their food and prices cannot be beat! Stop and try for yourself

Took my daughter to this wonderful Mexican Restaurant, this place has all the normal list of foods but all fresh and home made, not like those chain restaurants that have boxes of frozen pre-made products that they reheat, instead, this wonderful place makes there food fresh from scratch. The flavors were wonderful and the portions were perfect. My daughter had their flautas and i had their chimichanga, both dishes were well prepared and very flavorful. The wait staff was very professional and prompt, the owner personally checked on us and made sure we were taken care of. If you love Mexican food, i highly recommend that you visit this place and give them a try!

I eat here on a Wednesday afternoon so I can't speak about the atmosphere. It's a large place with lots of seating so I'm sure it can get packed and more lively. I ordered the carnitas. I have to say that they were the best I ever had. The sear on them was perfect and the grilled onions that came with them were cooked to perfection also. Everyone else got burritos and the presentation was excellent. They all said they loved them. My only complaint was the charro beans. They didn't have much flavor and not much really added to them. They definitely can work on that recipe. The horchata was also a little bland, but still satisfying. This restaurant's prices are very reasonable. Great food and great prices means I will be back. Definitely going back during peak hours so I can see if they up their game during rush hour.

This place is awesome place. It is located near my house and they are the best among all. They comes under your budget. It is located in South Frazier in the same complex where there is bingo and it is also located beside 7 Liquor. I didn't know about this place but once I went with my friend to chill out over there and I found it best. I suggest you to chelada. They are best 😊

Waitress very nice helpful in explaining menu to us. It was a slow day but she made sure we had everything we needed. Food was delicious! Beer was super cold ,very important ! Oysters were fresh!

Fabulous salsa, food was very fast and fresh and our server was really very pleasant. Even the rice and beans were over the top awesome! This is a great place to come it's a shame they don't have a bunch of them in our area and we have to drive so far to get to it or we would eat here all the time.

I'm being generous. Everything was lousy. Service, food, you name it. From the moment we walked in at 2:00 Saturday; we waited 90 minutes for our overcooked, dry food. We were part of Mom's 96th birthday so didn't want to make a scene. Our entire party hated it.

Awesome fish tacos! The charro beans were excellent. Great service and sweet people! Quiet little spot with good food.

We've given this place a try 3 times now as it is right by our neighborhood and it would be great to be able to frequent. Unfortunately, we tried the chicken enchiladas once and they were awful, not the typical shredded chicken it was chunks and tough meat.. tonight we ordered combination fajitas for two, to go and they were worse. The fajita is so dry, it's more like jerky. The chicken was ok... not tender or tasty at all really. We also did not get guacamole, cheese or sour cream for our meal. For $40, we're disappointed. We won't be back.. Id rather have chipotle honestly. I will say, the wait staff has been pleasant each time and it seems like a fun environment.. just not good food.

After hearing from the manager the only solution they would offer was that we bring any leftovers BACK to the restaurant for a refund. How ridiculous! It was already in the trash, I offered photos but nope. Food is terrible and poor management too.

Stopped by on the evening of Saturday February 12,2022 to have some late dinner . We tried the sample platter and it was great , very delicious food . Drinks were amazing . I gives this place a 10 out of 10 and will come here again and again. I highly recommend this place . We loved it !!

Pretty weak if your looking for fresh food. Not exactly microwaved... but nothing is made here. No fresh guacamole, store bought Tortillas... nothing looked authentic. One waiter for 9 people and the kitchen took 25 minutes for our order. Cheese wasn't even melted and The fajitas were mostly onions. Ordered poblano peppers and mushrooms...The peppers had no taste. Spent $40 with tip and Not coming back.

I am a fan, but feel that the last dish I had there wasn't a really good value for the money. I had the Burrito Enano. It was just not quite enough food for me. There are better things to order. Great service. Authentic food.

Genuine Mexican food, prepared and served by genuine Mexicans! I've been looking for quality, Mexican home cooking in Conroe. I think I finally found it! I hope this little place survives. They're a little relaxed about things (like opening up for business at the time the sign on their door says they open). Ambience is what you'd expect for a place that serves up home style Mexican food. Come hungry but leave your Gucci bags at home.

I have been eating here for over 20 years and make a point to eat here at least once a week. They now serve a Mango margarita that is one of the best I ever drank. The service is great, servers are friendly, and the food is amazing. All of their seafood is good, the Shrimp Alfonso's is bacon wrapped jalapenos and very delicious. One of my favorite dishes is the Del Pueblo, with quail, beef fajita meat, a pork chop and chorizo, with grilled onions, a real feast. Their queso is better than most other places and the guacamole is really good. I highly recommend you try it out.

We have been eating here for many many years. The food is always hot and delicious as well as authentic. The prices are incredible and the daily specials are always a great deal and delicious.

Usually good food. Service is spotty. Pricing is okay. Good for lunch and early dinner. Some of the wait staff are challenged with English, but friendly enough so you can make it work. Ownership changed recently and the changes were noticeable. Too early to say good or bad. Authority says the margaritas are pretty good.
