Great location with solid coffee and matcha! The service is super attentive, and it’s definitely a spot where you can snap that perfect IG photo :) The space is clean, and they offer a variety of healthy products for sale too.

I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Havana at Alfred’s in Glossier Alley, and wow she made my entire day. From the moment I walked in, her energy was so kind, welcoming, and effortlessly warm. No matter how busy or chaotic things got, she stayed gracious, patient, and incredibly sweet. She has this natural charm that makes you feel seen and appreciated as a guest, and it’s clear she genuinely enjoys connecting with people. Whether you’re just grabbing a quick drink or enjoying the Glossier x Alfred summer experience, Havana brings the kind of positivity and care that takes everything to the next level. Truly a gem! Our visit to Alfred's Coffee, nestled beside Glossier on Melrose, was a delightful experience. Opting for their signature pink matcha, we were treated to a refreshing and Instagram-worthy beverage. The vibrant pink hue of the matcha was as eye-catching as it was delicious, offering a unique twist on the classic green variety. Sipping on this trendy treat amidst the bustling Melrose scene was the perfect way to recharge and indulge in a bit of West Coast charm. Alfred's Coffee offers more than just great drinks; it's a trendy hotspot where style meets substance, making it a must-visit destination for any visit to Melrose.

Alfred Coffee at Glossier Alley is always a vibe. Every time I stop by, the whole team just gives off good energy — no matter what kind of day it is or how busy they are, they’re consistently cool, kind, and welcoming. Shoutout to Connor especially — seriously one of the most down-to-earth people you’ll meet. He always greets you like a regular and makes the whole experience feel easy and personal. It’s the kind of place that instantly lifts your mood. Great coffee, great people, and great vibes all around.

They were a recommendation from our hotel staff. Our coffee was amazing, and we ended up ordering a few times during our stay in Los Angeles. I hope we get to visit a store in person next time we are in town. Definitely worth all the fuss!
