Alfredo Authentic Italian Restaurant & Underground Cocktail Bar

The octopus salad was the best that I had across all Italian restaurants that I visited all over Sydney. I love the margarita cocktail that I ordered, it’s strong, that’s what I am looking for 😄. Tiramisu was great. Pasta… was fine. We sat outside, it’s lovely and quiet. There was someone played piano inside, romantic 🥹 will come back again

Lovely authentic Italian restaurant with friendly wait staff and a welcoming atmosphere. My wife and I ordered the garlic bread, penne con salsiccia and melanzane ripiene and the tiramisu for dessert. The melanzane was a standoutdish, the combination of sauces with the pasta and eggplant was wonderful. Otherwise the food was quality but not exceptional. We really enjoyed the live piano music I was annoyed that upon leaving I was asked for a tip by a very brusk man at the main desk. I don't expect to be asked so straightforwardly for a tip in Australia, especially when the prices were about 10% above what was on the website. I had to remove a star for these reasons

I came in there on the 3/02/2025 to celebrate valentines day with my girlfriend as would would not me able to celebrate it closer to the day. It was by far an amazing experience. The staff were so professional and kind. The staff that we met were by far some of the nicest people ever. Luciano and Saverio (apologies of i spelt the names wrong) looked after as. My highest compliments to you and the rest of the staff. The food was some of the best i have ever tasted and im looking forward to the next opportunity purely so i can go again. Would reccomend this place 100000%. Thank you so much.

This place has been here for as long as I remember. Food real good, I could have had a bigger serving, but maybe that’s just me. Shame they don’t do Italian wood fired pizza also. Would round out the menu nicely. Owner a lovely guy. General staff seemed a little scattered, perhaps they were new, they were trying. If they had asked if we needed anything else, they would have sold us 3 times the drinks!! Worth a visit. Warm and cozy inside.

Came in for a late dinner on a week day with no reservation and our dog, they organised a table outside for us immediately and we received a lovely service by two waitresses. The food was phenomenal! The quality and flavour are jaw dropping. The melanzane ripiene was divine and the pappardelle al pesto and caprese salad delicious. Complements to the chefs, they clearly know what they are doing. Will be back with friends and family for sure! Amazing experience

The place was lovely, we've never been so decided to give it a try. We had a booking and when we arrived there was a bit of confusion nevertheless a waiter took us to our seats. The staff were attentive, and the restaurant was busy, a bit noisy, but still enjoyable. The food was great. There are plenty of wine options, too. I would not say it was better or worse than any other Italian in the city bar fine dining. Price was on the high side but expected in the city

Superb food and service. Very clean. Underground is a fun lounge for drinks after dinner. Would definitely return visit. Back five years later: 03 26 2025. It's still just as good. Quality is top shelf. Service is great. Highly recommend.
