This is marked as 5 stars, but I would ideally award this 4.5 stars.||We booked into Algodon for our penultimate night of our holiday, having done a lot of travelling and wine tasting, before heading back to BA and flying home. We wanted somewhere to relax and unwind in comfort and not worry about a hung. Algodon easily provided this - the rooms are lovely, large and comfortable with open private patios overlooking the gardens. The grounds are expansive and beautiful and you can wander and cycle around them at will. Staff were always friendly, helpful and on hand. Finally, top scores for the excellent restaurant which was exceptional, relaxed and had great food and wine pairings. The wines were good too, with an interesting pint noir that was remarkable for its difference from the usual heavy Malbecs/Cabs.||The only niggle in my opinion was that in our room was a Nespresso machine and some artisan chocolates that were individually price. I'm not really sure what this was about - if you're willing to shell out on staying at Algodon and eating at the restaurant, I'd expect that a 30/40 pesos chocolate in the room was complementary (I.e. like the bikes, wine tasting, tennis courts, etc). Small things, but the difference between 4.5 and 5 stars in this case, as otherwise this place got the rest spot on and is a lovely setting to relax in.
