First time at Alice & Friends. Staff was friendly and food was fantastic. We ordered the bhan mi and runaway potato. Not being a vegan, I didn't know what to expect. Both dishes were delicious. I especially liked the runaway potato. I took home half of it and my son (also not a vegan) loved it too. I didn't take any photos of the inside of the restaurant. But I know we will be going there again so next time I will.

Google
Hile visiting family in Chicago we found this place. They are culinary creators for Vegan cuisine. We started with a rainbow roll which was delicious and nutritious! I recommend asking for double peanut sauces. Our party had the chow mein, Kung Pao and Sweet and Sour Cauliflower. Kung Pao had the most flavor. Chow Mein needed a bit more flavor. Cauliflower was a treat. Big Portions, but we still tried Chocolate Mouuse Pie, Carrot Cake and Raw Tiramisu. Group agreed Tiramisu was the best.

My first time visiting Alice & Friends at their Glenview location! Aside from it taking a substantial amount of time to complete my to go order, Joey was a whole vibe! Helped me choose some great dishes (enjoyed my thai chai tea, chow mein and crispy spring roll most! Didn’t care for the walnut shrimp much with the brown rice. Rice was too mushy and walnut shrimp mainly tasted like dough that lacked a lot of flavor.

Coming here was a great experience. I have had this place on my 'places to go' list for a long time, and I'm so glad that I went. The theme of the restaurant is adorable, I loved all of the suspended teacups and saucers that were mounted on the counter. When we came there were a lot of seats already reserved but there were a few that were still open. We were seated rather quickly but in the future I likely will reserve a seat to make sure I don't miss out on great food. As far as what we ordered, we got the walnut shrimp, kung pao, the drumsticks and tom ka soup. We also got a slice of chocolate cake to go. The walnut shrimp was creamy and the side of broccoli was seasoned well. The brown rice was perfectly chewy and the walnuts were candied & crunchy. The kung pao dish was also a delight. There was a sweet and smokey flavor to it that I absolutely loved. While I would usually personally prefer to have kung pao more spicy, I still wouldn't change anything about this dish. The drumsticks were pretty good and it was nice to have the 'eat chicken off of a bone' again experience. The tom ka soup was umami and flavorful and is better than others that I have had at Thai restaurants. Most vegan cakes I've had have a crumby and dry texture, but that wasnt the case with the chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was rich, moist and decadent. The staff was incredibly friendly and our server JoJo was fantastic. She was very attentive and checked in with us a few times. She really added to the enjoyment of our visit. She also was truly sweet. This place, hands down is the best vegan restaurant that I have been to and I have been vegan for 8 years. My non-vegan family members also agree.

Delicious and creative veggie fare. The menus are very well labeled to include all allergens. The culinary creations are wonderful and fresh. They nailed the Alice in Wonderland vibe with the decorations. A must try if you're in the area!

Google
The owner & their staff of this location have been extremely friendly & the owner’s ambitions for this business & restaurant are well warranted & deserve a reward to match. The food they prepare is not only quite healthy, but tastes outstanding in comparison to the many different restaurants & locations I have ever been to. The fact that they did so while remaining vegan & provisioning the healthiest of ingredients in their food makes this a far superior restaurant to eat from. I had friends & family who had poor experiences elsewhere with vegan food, absolutely love the vegan food here at Alice & Friends, so much so, each one vowed interest in returning again in the future, especially myself as I have four times within a month! Every single time myself & those I brought along come to eat here, we can’t help but share portions of our meals with one another, as the food here is astoundingly above par & beyond simply delicious. This is NOT something we did at any other restaurant, ever. There is definitely a truly remarkably noticeable culinary skill that the owner & their employees have honed, both the visual representation & especially the taste of the food definitely truly shows it. Everything on the menu is genuinely crafted extremely well & tastes just as well, as I have practically tried almost all of their options within such a short time frame; it goes to really show just how flavorful the food here really is! I could honestly go on & on, so in conclusion, you simply can not go wrong with eating at this location when it comes to the food. You are kindly encouraged to support their business & give their food a try. If you enjoy it, I too hope you invite family & friends & share your experience as I have. I kid you not, I haven’t had vegan food that tastes as good as Alice & Friends’ anywhere else. Versus non-vegan, nothing could genuinely top Alice & Friends. Would have taken pictures of meals to share, but each & every single time, got too caught up in how delicious everything was to remember to share the visual experience! If I somehow break this cycle, I will be sure to update the review with images.

Mango lassi and green tea cheesecake was really good but the curry and mac and cheese was okay. Can be pricey but it’s perfect if you’re craving cheesecake but you’re vegan or lactose.

WOW! This place is GOOD! Chicken drumsticks with ranch were so delicious! It's a three piece appetizer. Don't be fooled. They are very big. Crab Rangoon was perfect. My soup (I can't remember the name 😭) tonkotu??? had a really smooth broth, and the spices were blended to perfection. It's a very large bowl. I have another meal for tomorrow. A wonderful selection of dishes on the menu. I'll be back to try others. It's worth it. The carrot cake is worth busting your belly.

Yelp
This is a welcome addition to the short list of good vegan places in the suburbs. It's probably going to supplant my previous go-to. I got the Kung Pao Ding, and it was perfectly cooked with all the ingredients I ordered and none I didn't. You basically get two meals for the price of one, with generous helpings of tofu and veggies rather than a surplus of rice. The menu here is broad and appealing. The service seems diligent and attentive to details. The prices are about what you'd expect for The Glen. Hope Alice's becomes a permanent fixture there rather than another of The Glen's short-lived dining experiments. This one deserves to last.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant, with a clear vegan mission and warm atmosphere and servers! Love the chairs and lighting. -The food was really good, even to my friend who wasn't fully prepared to try vegan :) He wanted to learn the recipe for Mushroom Wonderland! I found the larger mushrooms in it too chewy, but he liked it. -I loved the tofu/miso appetizer; lots of gluten free options! -The cocktails were great, but they ran out (!) at 4:30pm and we'd each only had one-- there were not many other people there either. -I had to remind them to give the happy hour discount.

Yelp
I recently added this place to a bucket list of restaurants that I wanted to surprise my wife at. We booked reservations to this establishment online prior but it seemed out of place to book reservations upon arrival because the establishment was empty. Sure business picked up afterwards but we could of walked in instead. That's the only thing negative I had about the business. This rest of this place was incredible and it was beyond our expectations. My wife is vegan and there were food items she had never seen before or had in a really long time. We had to try the crab ragoon. I happened to try one of their burgers with a side of fries. Portion size is absolutely worth the money too. We happened to have some dessert too afterwards and had a cake to go. Absolutely amazing! The wait times aren't bad, staff was absolutely friendly. Bathrooms are single stall, the decorations, the theme and everything was gorgeous. I'm not vegan at all but this place exceeded my expectations. 4.5 stars

Yelp
Looking for a new place to try for lunch, my husband and I opened up Yelp and found we were in the vicinity of Alice & Friends at The Glen. We are not vegetarians but the pictures of the menu items looked tasty. The decor was bright and inviting with huge mushrooms brightly painted on the walls. There was seating in the front as well as in a back room. Small and large tables for all size parties. The staff were very friendly and helpful with food and drink suggestions. We enjoyed our entire meal of crab rangoons, agedashi tofu, cornbread, roasted sesame miso ramen, sautéed mushrooms, and the German apple cake and chocolate mousse pie for dessert! They offer lots of drinks including smoothies, teas, lattes, as well as alcoholic drinks. Alice in Wonderland themed.

Yelp
So happy to have such a delicious restaurant in Glenview. Service was great, restaurant very clean. We had the crab Rangoons - I think best I've ever had. We also had the kung pao ding - so good. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Great & Tasty! The menu was amazing & the food was just as delicious! I loved the beverage options and the dessert! I'm a vegan and loved that I could pick and eat so many things here!! The vibe is random and cute, and the staff is great! Our waiter was amazing and uber helpful on taste recommendations! Plenty of off street parking or pedestrian parking.

Yelp
Tried a few new items today! Banana chocolate shake-- pretty good, but definitely very banana-y. My husband who's dairy free always craves vegan milkshake, and he thought it was good enough but I think he just doesn't like banana that much. He compared this with Chicago Diner's shakes and prefers Chicago Diner's peanut butter chocolate shake more. We were wondering if Alice and Friends would be willing to have more shake varieties on the menu, even if just rotating some of the options. Burmese noodle salad with kelp noodle-- the kelp noodle is a "today's special" since they typically have other noodle options. The kelp noodles texture is a lot like jellyfish, I like it but not so much for my husband. I really liked the flavor, and the vegetable mix, it's kind of creamy either with a sesame paste/nut paste base. Definitely a bit spicy actually. However, we both would've preferred maybe less saucy, though I understand why it is. Perhaps next time we can customize it to be less saucy. My husband who grew up with Burmese food said it doesn't really taste Burmese other than the fried onions up top. I think it would be missing the fish sauce flavor, though I think the sourness in the vegan sauce mimics it enough, just not the savory component of the actual fish sauce. Overall pretty satisfied with it still.

Yelp
Recent addition to the Glen, Alice & Friends is a secondary location to the restaurant name. Offering Asian vegan dishes with healthy ingredients. Located in the Glen across from Eggspresso, Alice & friends offers a warm and inviting restaurant that certain plays into the Alice in wonderland theme. When we walked in we were told we could sit anywhere and someone will be right over. We were brought a bottle of water while we looked through the menu. Our server shared the appetizer and entree specials for the day. We decided to share the charsiu baos, and the rangoons to start. Both of these were super flavorful and delicious. The baos were a bit wet at the bottom but still were great in flavor. The rangoons had a great crisp to it and tons of filling. We also decided to split an order of the masubi. The vegan spam shocking tasted just like the original spam. The seaweed wrapping did feel a little soggy which made it hard to chew but the flavors were still great. Entree wise, we shared the banh mi and the kung pao with mushrooms. The kung pao was delish. The flavors and the vegetables were cooked perfectly with a great crunch. Even with the sauces you're still able to taste the flavors of each vegetable. The let down for me this visit was the banh mi. The vegan protein that was on the sandwich resembled jerky texture but it was rock hard and stale. The bread as well was a bit hard. I wished the protein was put under the vegetables and the sauce like a traditional banh mi because it may have helped the dryness. Overall, we had a great experience and would revisit and try other menu items.

Yelp
Good food and good service. I have eaten at their chicago location, but the first time at the Glen location. Inside space is good size and parking available around. Recommended to make reservations, especially on the weekend. Made meal out of their wide choices of appetizer. My favorite was their special dumpling made of mushroom and soy mix. Highly recommend adding it to their regular menu. Joyful bliss is my go-to shrimp dish here, but I would try something else next time. Coating is getting too thick for me. Crab ragoon is good too, but not my taste. Protine skew is decent. Also tried their special bao sweet and spicy mix. All dishes come with their own sauces, which is good. For spice lover order chili oil. The first time, I tried mango cake, not super sweet, filled with a chunk of mangoes and vanilla cream. Really enjoyed. Also, I'm taking my favorite lasko soup to go. This is a filling meal perfect for any season.

Yelp
My second time dining here and both experiences have been wonderful-- food and service is exceptional. I look forward to returning and trying different menu items.

Yelp
I am so happy there is a vegan restaurant in the area, I was particularly interested in vegan chinese food. My husband and I ate here on a Monday night and ordered a lot of food! The service was excellent and the restaurant has casual seating. We will be back for dessert!

Barb L.

Yelp
Well, now i did it! I bragged on this place and now i can't get in without advance reservations! I've eaten here twice now and its delicious.

Nam D.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants, and not because their Vegan, but the good is fantastic! I've been to their location in Edgewater before and was excited that they opened up a new trendy location in the suburbs. The atmosphere is trendier and more open than its previous location. Service was great and attentive. This time I got the Laksa and it was soooo good! Really hit the spot! Very flavorful broth and you'll be surprised how it's Vegan!

Kylie K.

Yelp
Yelp elite squad person recommended this place about a week ago, I had a chance to go check out this place today. Food was nice. Heavily sauced for my palette, but this was my first experience to a vegan restaurant so I do not really have a comparison. I may update review as I try other vegan places.

Cher H.

Yelp
Location is SOOOO much better and easier than the original location, so that's a super plus! Environment was clean, quiet and had cute decor. The service was great. Friendly and tentative staff. The food is amazing, like it always has been, it never fails. I love that they expanded the menu. Looking forward to more trips out here now that this one is SOOOO much more closer to us

Anne Marie H.

Yelp
I have not eaten at this location but have ordered carry-out and delivery many times. The food is amazing! Some of my faves: appetizers - crispy spring roll, drumsticks entrées - bi bim bop bowl, kids' mac n cheese with broccoli desserts - apple cake, tres leches (when they have it on special) I've tried a lot of their dishes, and the one thing I have learned is that many dishes seem to be cooked in heavy oil and smokey flavor (in my opinion), so I always make sure to ask for light oil and no smokey flavor and they accommodate. I am looking forward to eventually trying everything off the menu! I highly recommend this spot for vegans and non-vegans too!

Stephen L.

Yelp
Alice and Friends has THE BEST kung pao I have ever had anywhere. Period. Great flavors, many vegetables, and a delicious protein with crunchy outside and tender inside. I made my own kung pao the week before our visit. Even though we all loved mine, we all agreed this was far better. I love their satay appetizer, too. It has great flavor, texture, and a good peanut sauce. We have had their potstickers too, also very tasty. The wonton soup is very good too. It comes in a large bowl chock full of vegetables and wontons with a good flavor. It could be a meal. Desserts are always great. Last night we had tres leches. My wife doesn't normally like such desserts. She raved today about last night's tres leches dessert. We have had other desserts there, too, and always enjoy them. Strongly recommend a reservation if you plan to arrive between 5pm and 6:30pm, else you might be waiting awhile for a table.

Yelp
Love this place. I could eat their heavenly Roasted Sesame Miso Ramen every day and be happy -- a big warming bowl of noodles in an extraordinarily flavorful broth. I'm also a fan of the dumplings, the super spicy potato stew, and the apple cake. Jojo was welcoming, thoughtful, and so kind when I was going through a rough patch, with my mom on hospice. Thank you!!

Zetska O.

Yelp
Alice & Friends has been a wonderful go-to restaurant for vegans and also non-vegans for many years. Food is consistently fresh, delicious, and homemade with care. Crab rangoon, shrimp appetizer, wings, spring rolls, etc are AMAZING! So is the Korean beef dish and the Tom Ka soup! Also don't skip the desserts! Amazing! Lemon cake is a favorite and you can get a whole cake here for your special occasions. Service is always friendly and short wait times for food. Have been going to the location in the city for years but completely delighted to have one at the Glen too!! Can't wait for the city location to reopen, I'm sure the remodeling is going to be beautiful!!! LOVE ALICE AND FRIENDS!!!

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
Another 6 out of 5 stars for food, service, ambiance. Our server, Jojo, makes our dining experience perfect... great service and attention.. the best. My favorite restaurant in Chicago!!!

Zenith C.

Yelp
Love every bite! Found this gem when I accidentally came across it on Yelp. Had Laksa and oyster mushroom Kung Pao Ding. Even my meat loving husband was very satisfied. Als had their Lychee beer (can) & dessert special pumpkin cake cheesecake. Both excellent. Will definitely be back and on my list of favorite restaurant in Glenview

Deb D.

Yelp
Pretty good food. Ramen was delicious. Just need to figure out what to order. I like the byo leftover container offer.

Van K.

Yelp
I heard of Alice and friends opening at the Glen but didn't know they have upgraded their menu! It was eye opening on the different choices they have available for fellow vegans! We are vegetarians but absolutely don't mind eating g there! I had the Laksa noodles and my daughter had the dumplings. Chai tea was delicious. Bathrooms are modern and clean! Seating is spacious. They have outdoor seating or sit by the bar. Next time, we will try some dessert as well! Lots of desserts available!

Mike M.

Yelp
Tried last night for first time. 2 of us are not vegetarian and 1 was. Our server was fantastic, I think her name was Jojo. Wasn't really sure what to expect, but was very happy with our choices which our server helped us with. We started with the Crab Rangoon and Dumplings. I actually think the Crab Rangoon was better than any Chinese restaurant that I've tried. The Dumplings were just ok. Might have been better steamed versus fried. Our main courses were great, we had the Korean Bbq, the Kung Pai Ding and Ramen. Everything was delicious and portions were definitely large enough to bring some home. For a non-vegetarian, I will definitely be back. I'm hoping given all the restaurants that haven't made it in The Glen that this one sticks around.

Marcus D.

Yelp
Great to see a vegan restaurant open in the northern burbs especially in the Glen. Nice and welcoming decor and excellent service. There were four of us and we ordered a number of different dishes and they were all good, some outstanding like the kung pao tofu with brown rice that I ordered. Looking forward to going back and trying other dishes.

Greg S.

Yelp
Delicious. Everything Ive had works. Kinda expensive but worth it. Flavor matters. Ive ordered from the one in the city for years. Glad they opened this local-- hard to find great vegetarian in the suburbs.

Beverly L.

Yelp
Just had lunch at Alice and Friends. The decorating is creative, the service was very attentive and the large menu had so many delicious choices that it was difficult to choose! We each enjoyed what we ordered. We will be back!

Syd P.

Yelp
This place(including their Broadway location) makes me a very happy vegan! I love their Bao. I LOVE it. I've had it a few times. I can't come here without ordering it. I also love their noble burger. And it comes with a generous amount of fries. Fries, might I add, that are SCRUMPTIOUS! The crab rangoon are an interesting, tasty appetizer. It is nicely complimented with some fresh veggies and a dipping sauce. Their carrot cake... wow. I aim to try each dessert at least once. Buuut, I, so far have ordered the carrot cake every time. Very nice atmosphere. Seating seems limited so I would suggest making a reservation, especially during peak times. Staff are polite and friendly.

Archana S.

Yelp
The food and service were excellent. Both the kids and the adults loved the food. The menu had so many items and I will definitely come back again to try the other items. The place has a cute Alice in wonderland theme.

Mark W.

Yelp
Good vegetarian food with delightful service. It was easy to get a reservation and parking is good. We didn't get to try the desserts but they looked great too. We will go back again soon.

Pamela K.

Yelp
This is THE best vegan restaurant I have ever been to and I've been to a lot of them! Not only is the food incredible but the staff/service is warm, friendly and helpful. I'd give Alice and Friends 100 stars if I could!!!

Wayne S.

Yelp
Believe the reviews. We carried out the rainbow roll, heavenly curry and royal pho. All were delicious and we can't wait to order again.

Arie R.

Yelp
Overall a mostly good first experience here! Would go back. Definitely want to try more of their pastries :) 4/5 Rainbow roll - they're version of a spring roll at a Vietnamese restaurant. It was fine but it fell apart really easily. For that price it should've come with a protein 1/5 Mac and cheese - super duper salty!! Not edible salty. No one ate it unfortunately, it was not enjoyable. Even if it wasn't salty we didn't love the flavor but the salt ruined it so hard to know for sure. 4/5 Kung pao - a little too sweet. I thought it was going to be a little bit spicy but it was really sweet. Got it with the mock protein that was the last of the protein options written on the menu and it was really good. We did have one issue with this dish though. We ordered it with no chilies because we were eating with someone who has a medical issue and can't have the food cooked with chilies. We were very clear. The waitress came back at one point and said they accidentally added the chilies but they could make another one and without it. Normally we wouldn't care because this was a medical issue we asked if they could make it without chilies please. But then the dish is made with chilies anyways and that person eat the meal without realizing and her mouth started inflaming immediately. So that wasn't good. I'm not the one with the issue so I enjoyed the dish but I felt really bad for her and she couldn't eat anything else after that. 5/5 Sweet potato fries - so good! Crispy and warm. Portion not that big 4/5 Golden breeze - they're version of a vermicelli beef bowl at a Vietnamese restaurant. Pretty good! I'm used to this with fish sauce but it was a sweet and sour to be vegan. 5/5 Tiramisu - was $9.50 I believe? Moist and absolutely delicious. 4/5 Service: our waitress is extremely nice. They were busy but she was still fairly attentive, as much as she could be for how many tables she was covering. They were also diligent on filling up water. Atmosphere: it's a little bit cramped and very loud but it's pretty cute inside. They do not have a double door so if you're anywhere near the front it's pretty freezing every time someone walks in or out. They have a huge curtain that looks like it blocked off a little part of the restaurant for a private event. They have a nice big pastry case with cakes, cheesecakes and tiramisu. One weird thing is they didn't have paper towels in the bathroom, there were regular dining napkins coming out of the paper towel dispenser and those dont really absorb water well so you need to use more than you would a normal paper towelAlso, When you pay they calculate tip after tax, which they shouldn't do.

Fara K.

Yelp
I love the food, as a vegetarian it's hard to find options when eating out and this place delivers. The prices are high, but the portions are decent. My only suggestion would be not to charge extra for a little extra sauce. It ruins the experience and I don't know if you gain anything by doing that.

Jessica A.

Yelp
I am not a Vegan. I love bacon, fish and a great bison burger. That being said, I eat here regularly and am never disappointed.

Ray B.

Yelp
I've been to the new Glen location twice now and this place never disappoints. Great food!

Glenn Z.

Yelp
Food was great, nice menu and great service, if you love chile oil they have a really hot one, worth the 2.00

Happy Vegan T.

Yelp
Alice and friends is great. I'm so happy they opened this new location. The decor is so cute and the service was great. Everyone was so friendly. Our food was DELICIOUS. The shrimp and mushrooms were my favorites. The crab rangoon was a little too oniony. I don't like onions, though, so any amount of onion is too much for me. We finished with carrot cake which was moist and yummy!

Kris A.

Yelp
Been here several times. Food is excellent but service tonight unacceptable. We had a 7:15 reservation but were told they didn't "hold" a table for us and it would be 10-15 minutes. The guy apologized so all was ok there. Fast forward to our server. Someone in our party asked for tequila on the rocks, which she's ordered several times previously. The server said they'd have to check, but then disappeared and never came back with drink. Then server proceeded to ignore our table and stand around. After 15 minutes of being ignored we had bad vibes so decided to leave. Told the host we wanted our check since our server seemed to forget we were there. I hope a manager reads this, and has a chat with the server who was working Friday night, November 1st. Server was wearing a Halloween costume. Definitely needs an attitude adjustment and needs to improve serving skills.

Julie V.

Yelp
Great food! Friendly staff. Everything we tasted are so good we would come back. I wish there are more restaurants like this. We need more restaurants like this. It doesn't only take care and promote good health, it also takes care of our Earth.

Caryn B.

Yelp
First time at Alice and Friends in Glenview. I had the Thoke, which was so tasty; it reminded me of my favorite Malaysian restaurant in the DC area (though without the chicken, obviously). Only complaint was too many large pieces of raw onion. One recommendation to the restaurant is an option for long strips of chewy fried tofu for some added protein Nonetheless, I loved thoroughly enjoyed the dish. The Chocolate Mousse Cake was also quite yummy. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu!

WK W.

Yelp
Terrible Service, full restaurant, no line and two empty tables with two chairs each table. Our party was three. We were not seated because the person in restaurant (seating person) said to us that those tables are for two parties of two not three. he made us wait. Really??!! Wow! we left and still no one was waiting nor arrived inside restaurant after we left. I could not believe what happened.

Asha S.

Yelp
Wonderful food & service! The menu has many options & love the Asian forward options. Will be back for sure

Rebecca G.

Yelp
As a long-time fan of the Chicago location, I've been eagerly awaiting this expansion and was very impressed with the results! Their menu has continued to grow, now including cocktails! and the food is even better than I remembered. It's uncanny how much the faux meat resembles (and even improves upon) the originals. I really enjoyed the Crab Rangoon, as traditional versions tend to be too heavy on the cream cheese for my taste. The Kung Pao Tofu had an amazing smoky, spicy, and caramelized flavor. Honey Walnut Shrimp was top-notch; my only suggestion would be to include a dipping sauce (or sesame oil for the table), as the side of rice and plain broccoli was a bit dry. Banh mi was a tasty mix of sweet and savory packed into the perfect crispy-chewy bread. Mung bean bao were yummy and the Lychee Margarita and Lychee Beer were delicious and perfect summer drinks. Service was courteous, efficient, and down-to-earth. Prices may be a bit on the high side but it's totally worth it given the quality and unique plant-based focus. Can't wait to return and try even more dishes!

Yelp
First time here! The dining experience here is absolutely wonderful - amazing service, food, and overall environment. Our server, Jo Jo, helped us with recommendations and answered all the questions we had. Jo Jo is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk to! The food is excellent. There is a wide variety to choose from, so there's something for everyone!

Stephen M.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place! We started off with a Rainbow Roll, it was ok great choice of vegetables, but you could almost taste the sanitizer or water they cleaned them with. We had the pork bun! That was great! Both meals we ordered were a solid 76% Here's why I have 3 star the service was absolutely horrible, upon being rudely greeted at the front door, she pointed us to two empty tables and said sit wherever you want. Ahhhh OK... The waitress was god awful everything just felt rushed- zero hospitality- from begging to end ! No silverware, napkins. Special drinks were NOT good either! I was totally turned off by the use metal straws!!! All i kept thinking was bacteria bacteria bacteria! They were dirty inside Oh well!

Yelp
So great to have a vegan restaurant in Glenview! I've visited the city location and could not wait for the Glenview to open. The best dessert too!

Yelp
Delicious food and even better service! I had been to the edgewater location in the past and have since moved out of the city. This is a much needed vegan restaurant in the suburbs. A destination for sure. Apps (fried mushrooms were my favorite) and entrees were all good. Took home some cheesecake bc we were too full to eat it there (raw key lime and regular were both delicious). Can't wait to go back and try more things. Oh and our server was so helpful and friendly.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant, at least in this country. The creative, delicious food, the thoughtful staff, and the varied enormous menu. I would eat here every day if it were closer.
