Great service, really good food and fabulous vibe! Love the atmosphere here. It’s a really great value.. if this was in Miami it would be 3x prices. Cozy atmosphere. The GM nick was super nice too. The waitress not even serving us came up and introduced yourself too. The staff is really friendly and service oriented.

Google
I made a reservation for 8 people for a birthday dinner and I was so impressed by the service and food! Our waitress was SO NICE and lovely! So attentive and always checking up on us. The food was phenomenal. We had sushi, Brussels sprouts, and several appetizers. We did NOT have one bad item. Everything was so delicious! The room they set us up in the back was so cute and they had music playing. Overall, this was such a great place and I definitely recommend for drinks and shareables.

Google
Such a legit spot. Very good sushi. The cocktails were superb! Definitely check it out for yourself! You won't be disappointed! I promise.

ALICE is a wonderful place to host a small event! Our book club held a meeting there and not only did we have ample communication from the venue, we even had a private room for us to hang out, drink, and discuss our book of the month. We had nearly 20 guests and it was such an easy going night. Nick was wonderful and really provided an exceptional experience for us. Our server, Molly, was attentive, patient, and kind! I would recommend this place, 10/10.

Google
Dined for the first time today after hearing good things. The ambiance is very nice and the staff very friendly and attentive. The food was good and portion size reasonable although on the smaller side. Pricing on the high side. Pad Thai came after 10 minutes but the sushi rolls took over 25 minutes. The waitress apologized saying they only had one sushi chef. I had the passion fruit margarita and it didn't taste like passion fruit. For dessert, we had their chocolate pie and it was good. Not bad but probably not a place I'd come back or recommend.

Google
One of the best meals I've had in Dallas! I went with a friend and tried all kinds of stuff: table steak, fried rice, lettuce wraps, Korean BBQ wings, shishito peppers, rainbow roll, and key lime pie. I'm not a dessert person, but I would go back for that pie in a heartbeat! Excellent service and really cool vibe. It's a tiny place so you'll need a reservation.

Google
I love this place. It's so intimate and beautiful inside! The food was delicious....especially if you like sushi. Our waitress was so wonderful. She made she we were happy with our food and she was so pleasant. My brother in law is the General manager so of course we felt a little spoiled and got extra attention, but the whole place was getting extra TLC. I also tried the steamed buns and the chicken pad thai. Honestly everything was so great! Had the dumplings as well. It was nice to try a little of everything. even got dessert and had a few cocktails!!

Google
I’ve been here twice in 9 months and I can confidently say this place is great portions are small-medium so order a lot of food and share them between you and your party. The service is a bit slow bc they’re understaffed, but didn’t deter my server from going above and beyond. Roughly 35$ a person. They have a plethora of options ranging from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and more! Menu changes from time to time. I got the rock shrimp, salmon fried rice, Brussel sprouts, Baja roll, rainbow roll, calamari, and steamed buns the first time I got it with chicken, second time I got it with beef brisket, duck fried rice, Alice roll, and a couple of other options probably forgot the name of.

Yelp
I love it, there's ladies night on Thursday and each week has a special menu for about $15! Manager and servers are exceptionally helpful and nice! Great service. Highly recommend

Yelp
Haven't been here for a long time. I think the last time I visited was around the time they opened. I typically don't like Asian fusion, but I'm always open to trying something twice. Staff was very nice and service was good. Food is on the pricey side for portion size. Flavors were ok - not good, not bad. Over half the items were VERY salty. Drinks were decently strong. Overall, I think this place is fine for people who have never had Asian food before and are testing the waters, but it's not for me. I still would not recommend this place, and I would not come back.

Yelp
Came here for a girls night. There were 9 of us and making a reservation was easy! We got seated once half of our party arrived. The hostess was very sweet. Our server was somewhat attentive. It was weird, she stopped by frequently but would only take like half of our tables order if you were on the side that got her attention. I get that it was busy and we were a large table but maybe you could've been more consistent? For food and drinks, everything was very mediocre. I ordered the shang-ria and it was a regret. It seemed yummy on paper but it was literally just some bad tasting prosecco that was colored pink. No other flavor. My friend got the White Lotus and that was good. It was coconut based, I should've gotten that. For food, I had the yellowtail sashimi, baja roll, and shared some other plates. The yellowtail was a very small portion, like even smaller than a regular sushi restaurant. Good but overpriced for what you get. The baja roll was good but just your standard roll. The calamari was yummy and crispy though! So was their rock shrimp. The pad thai was way too peanut-y. I think if you're a foodie, I wouldn't really recommend this place. For the vibes, sure. It's dark and they play good but very loud music. I don't find myself coming back here for sure.

Diana D.

Yelp
Cute place but vibe-killing playlist including Billy Idol's Mony Mony, Reelin in the Years by Steely Dan, Billy Joel and the Bangles. WTH?

Alexis R.

Yelp
Alice has been one of my second homes! The staff there is absolutely amazing. Trish is one of my favorite gals there, she is always recommending the best dishes and new specials. My favorite days thus far have been Thursdays for Girl's Dinner!! The ambiance is so unique... makes me feel like I'm in a 70s movie.

Liz R.

Yelp
Great ambiance for our city and the drinks! Brussel sprouts were on point and delicious.

Nan T.

Yelp
Absolutely loved my experience at Alice. Super fun, cozy vibe with ample neighborhood parking. The food was amazing -- highly recommend the lettuce wraps, steamed buns, and fried rice. Calamari and fried ice cream were fine, wouldn't order again. Service was great. Look forward to coming back!

Dani A.

Yelp
We celebrated my birthday in the back room one year, and it was an absolute delight. I love this place! The food is delicious, the service is top-tier, and the owner makes his rounds to make you feel at home. I highly recommend for group dinners and date nights.

Alex B.

Yelp
Have a found my new favorite cocktail?! The Hot Shot is SO good- ended up ordering a second one because it's so refreshing. Atmosphere is lively with average/loud music. Dining room and bar were north completely filled but it's a relatively small place so not overwhelming. 100% made to be trendy with the decor and a top place to go for night life

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Came for date night and we enjoyed the cozy, romantic, casual ambiance. Food is shareable small plates, so come hungry and try a lot! We got the Lychee Martini, edamame/shishito peppers, lettuce wraps, steamed buns (brisket), pork ribs, and skirt steak. My favorite was the pork ribs. Flavor was so good & meat fell right off the bone. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Is it super authentic Asian food? No. But it's good Asian fusion and variation on authentic dishes, which I always enjoy trying. Loved the vibe of the place and recommend if you're looking for something lowkey cool. There is street parking or valet ($10).

Julissa B.

Yelp
I love that Alive is walking distance from my house! I normally come here for sushi but their whole menu is amazing. The decor is cute inside and out and the wait staff is attentive. Highly recommend on a Friday night! Make a resy as it's usually busy on the weekends!

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Desperately wanted to like this place because we live in Bryan Place near Exall Park and love walkable restaurants/bars. We ordered the Alice roll, the spicy chicken steamed buns, and the kimchi fried rice. Of the three, the Alice roll was the best tasting but you could get the exact same roll for half the price ($22) elsewhere. The kimchi fried rice was decent but very greasy. Again, there is tastier fried rice for a better deal elsewhere. The steamed buns were not only super bland but they brought out the wrong order and didn't bring out the right order until my family was already done eating their meal and ready to leave. No apology was given and we were still charged for it. The upside was the staff and service (aside from bringing out my dish at the end of the meal) were top notch. Everyone greeted you and were kind to us. For the price though and in this economy, I think there are better sushi/food options elsewhere.

Codi B.

Yelp
Super eclectic divey spot. I didn't realize it was Pan Asian until I saw the menu. This place is super dark inside; not a super fan of that..... but that's a trend with restaurants these days. Our server was good; not overly friendly but also not rude. The menu has a very nice selection; price to portion size is decent. We definitely left full! Love the small plate options. My favorite thing here was the sesame salad; the flavor profile was just amazing on that particular dish. The steamed buns were next; the chicken ones; the brisket ones were a tad disappointing flavor wise. The edamame shishitos were a third on my favorites. Everything thing else was yummy but not show stoppers. The sushi rolls were decent. The pad Thai was probably my least favorite thing we ordered. It was too peanutty. I wasn't a fan. The drinks were delicious. All in all; super vibey spot, great drinks, good food and I left full!

Yelp
I came here for dinner with a few friends on a Wednesday night. It was everyone's first time coming to Alice and will probably be our last. Overall, nothing stands out as that was the worst service or worst meal that I've had but there were several small things that would prevent me from returning with so many other great options in the area. Let's start with the good things going for this place. First, the decor is on point. The restaurant is pretty small but gives off an upscale lounge feel that you would get in nicer parts of town. At dinner time the music was at a good level that we could hear it but not too loud that we had to yell in order to have a conversation. Second, the staff were all welcoming and friendly throughout the time we were there. However, as I mentioned before, there is definitely some room for improvement. In my opinion, the actual food is the most important part of the dining experience and sadly I was not impressed with any of it. After food, I would say the overall level of service is the second most important and while our waitress was nice she wasn't really attentive and the timing of food from kitchen to table was not impressive. We ordered family style and had a variety of items, including: Pu Pu Plater, Calamari, Fried Rice, Panang Salmon, and a variety of sushi rolls. I found the appetizer platter was only deep fried food that lacked real flavor. It got mixed reviews from the rest of my friends at the table. The Panang Salmon was the most disappointing in my opinion as I ordered it "medium" but it came out well done and dry. The panang sauce that it was served with is not traditional Thai panang so that was also a bit disappointing. The sushi roles were all okay but nothing better than you would get from a Deep Sushi or Blue Fish. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and do not plan to return.

Yelp
If you are into huffing glue and retrieving your own car from valet, then this pair is for you! In addition, it will rain on you at your table!!

Yelp
Was in the area for an event, so of course, I had to check out my namesake & I was not disappointed. Ordered the brussels sprouts appetizer, skirt steak & yellowtail sashimi, which turned out to be my favorite, thinly sliced & very fresh. Servers definitely took care of us & good music. It does get loud but its expected.

Victoria D.

Yelp
Alice is a one of a kind Vietnamese fusion restaurant that captures you with the restaurants ambience the moment you walk through the door. I can honestly say that in all the times I have eaten in the restaurant or gotten food to go, I have always had a fantastic meal! The Alice role, dragon roll, brussels sprouts, and the yellow tail are some of the all time favorites. They take food allergies very seriously, including separating dishes into different bags whenever we have ordered food to go with a food allergy concern.

Teresa S.

Yelp
Dang. Apparently I wrote a review and in a foggy moment discarded it. This place deserves a great review. Let's start with Trish. She was amazing and even though we were the only ones on the patio she never forgot us!! The food was fantastic! Everything was delicious and we ate a lot! The drinks were great too. Definitely will come back again.

Yelp
Unfortunately here to write about a truly terrible experience at Alice last Saturday night (Jan 13). We made dinner reservations for my bachelorette party at 8:45 PM for a group of 10. We were not SEATED until 9:30. We were not greeted by a server until 9:45. At 10:15, we still had not received any food or drinks; shortly after we were informed that there was an issue in the kitchen and over half of the menu could no longer be prepared/cooked/served (either the fryers broke or the sprinklers were going off - not relevant). Ok, that's fine, we came for the sushi & rolls anyway. 30 minutes later we were finally served a few rolls, but not what we ordered and not enough to leave full (even sushi full). Several of us spoke with the server and manager, so everyone was aware of the situation. They gave us a round of espresso martini shots on the house (thanks, I guess, but 1 - they were terrible, 2 - we did not order / ask for / want them); we would have preferred to have our actual drinks or what little food we were served to be comped, or to have been seated on time per the reservation so our order could have been placed before the kitchen issue. I will not be returning to dine at Alice and I would caution others going in a large group or on a weekend.

Keli M.

Yelp
Cute place, but there is not a lot of room. The bar was packed, the dining area was packed. Went with a group of friends, and ordered a lot of items to share. We got the Pupu platter, Brussels sprouts, one of the rolls, ribs, and wings. There was 80s music playing all night, and the dj arrived around 9pm on a Friday. I think there is also karaoke later in the evening. Service was good, and they have valet parking.

Christina M.

Yelp
An underwhelming dinning experience and quite honestly no desire to return. Although the our waitress (autumn ) was great , the timing of food to table from kitchen was ridiculous - specially since they are small bites. This place is not equip to handle big groups as we came in for a bday dinner on a Tuesday night at 730 as a group of 10- The food- specifically the AYCE dim sum has about 9 small plates in the menu for about $40 pp. We thought we'd get to try different things from menu - however in the 2+ hours we were there they we unable to bring us what we ordered. Instead we could get the same item over and over with 20+ mins in between and the quality getting worse and worse every time. The "crispy rice" was so hard it was like biting into a hockey puck, the spring rolls were burnt , the dumplings were undercooked and hard on the ridges. The pork ribs took over an hour to come out , the shrimp& pork dumplings never saw our tables but were "checked on" for over 2 hours. About the 2 hour mark we realized we weren't going to get the experience we had paid for and asked to speak to a manager - it took more than 2 request and over 30 mins for him to address us. Although he was defensive at first he corrected the night by taking care of our meal- but I would be doing a disservice by not sharing our experience - don't fall for the tik tok tricks this place is not it. It's over priced with underwhelming food. Drinks 3/5 Service 2/5 Food 1/5

CeCee S.

Yelp
I absolutely love the decor. There's a front room and a "secret" back room. 2 completely different looks. Aesthetically very pleasing and great for pics. Small restaurant, not a lot of tables so definitely make reservations for popular nights. Tapas are my favorite especially with groups. We ordered one of everything. The menu is small, the food was ok and the drinks were fun. Our server seemed to be working a couple different stations and at some point forgot about us. We never received our pad tai. Nevertheless, the experience was light and comfortable and fun. I'll likely give it another try and visit again.

Elijah L.

Yelp
Alice is FAB! One of my new favorite Asian restaurants in DFW. Not a traditional sushi joint - think Asian tapas! Great for groups of friends and sharing plates. The live DJ is absolutely grand, and the mood is incredible inside. Don't skip on the espresso martini (thank me later), and the yellowtail sashimi is DIVINE! Can't wait to dine again!

Joanna M.

Yelp
I came to Alice for a Christmas dinner with my friend. We shared the Pu Pu platter for $45. The meatballs and ribs were the best part of it. The fried calamari and teriyaki chicken were kind of dry. The Bao buns were standard. We also shared a small fried rice -- emphasis on that it was quite small, but tasty. We had a few drinks--wine, cocktails. Overall, the service was great. The waiters were very attentive and helped describe menu items. When we arrived, we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Thursday at 6; but by the time we left, the place was packed. The look and feel of the restaurant were nice. Very upscale. For how gorgeous the interior was, the food did not match up for me especially for the prices. I don't think I would visit again.

Michelle B.

Yelp
Hubby and I were seated on time for our 7:30 Saturday reservation. We somehow snagged the perfect booth table right by the front, cozy and prime location. We shared the rock shrimp which was yummy and 2 rolls (dragon roll and baja roll) which were good. I only wish they had more substantial dishes that were more filling. Otherwise, a nice spot for a date night. I would definitely be interested in utilizing the private back room which I believe is used for karaoke.

Kelli H.

Yelp
5 stars all the way around! Food. Drinks. Service. Decor. Atmosphere. Everything is served small plate style which makes it perfect to try it all of you go with a group. Justin is the bomb! I will always recommend this spot.

Tiffany J.

Yelp
Alice was so delicious!! A friend had recommended it to us and I'm so glad we came. Fun pan Asian style cuisine. My favorite was the shu mai. The nigiri was also very good and they come dressed. Lastly, we tried their passion fruit martini and margarita that they had on special and they were both so good! The only dish I had that I wasn't wowed by was the chicken pad Thai (not pictured). It was very greasy and there was not much chicken in it

Anastasiya T.

Yelp
Absolutely cannot call this one of my favorite places. Service is good, food is very mediocre. We ordered chicken and brisket steamed buns, brisket steamed buns were awful in MY opinion( it is all up to your taste. Cocktails were meh. It's different so maybe worth visiting but absolutely nothing outstanding

Joanne R.

Yelp
Alice has some good food! It's not the best food I've ever had but definitely some good stuff. My husband and I tried the Mama Bear Rolls, Duck Fried Rice, Korean Wings and some cocktails. The duck fried rice was probably the best dish we had while there. I enjoyed their cocktails and thought they were really really good. There was a clash in decor, music and food at this restaurant. I enjoyed everything individually but together it was a little strange. The restaurant feels more like a lounge/bar than it does an actually restaurant. I think it's a nice place to try out but not somewhere I'd go back pretty often. I'm giving them 4 stars because I think, separately, they do a good job. Their decor is cute, the food is good and I enjoyed the music. I don't think it's for everyone but it was fine with me!

Mackenzie A.

Yelp
Went with my husband last night and the service was great, our waiter was wonderful and extremely attentive. I think her name was Anna, she was fantastic. But the food and the ambiance just didn't do it for us. Just know if you go on a Saturday they have a very loud DJ so it's hard, if not impossible, to have a conversation. The food we had was fine but was overpriced for what it was. It definitely wasn't bad just very, very bland. I would go back for drinks but won't be eating there again.

A P.

Yelp
Came to Alice for my girl's birthday dinner. Wasn't sure what to expect, from outside the location looks bigger but it's really cute inside! Very luxe and cozy, lots of velvet; swanky but not overdone. Also enjoyed the music, literally every song was perfect. We ordered a bunch of things at once and honestly that's the best method given how the kitchen works. Rolls take the longest so there's really no way to start with them, unfortunately. I had the Two Old Dogs Sauv Blanc, which was yummy. Edamame and Shishitos were SO good. I'm not sure what the seasoning was on the shishitos but it's perfection. I also had fried rice, it has shrimp and Chinese sausage, was delicious and just the right amount of rice. Finished with a Mama Bear Roll that was divine. I would definitely come to Alice again for some light bites over a drink.

Theresa C.

Yelp
Vibey, started at the bar for a wonderful espresso martini! Was sat with Sawyer, she must have served her for a long time, she was knowledgeable regarding the menu, and the service was timely! I would return to Alice, the lettuce wraps are keto king friendly and tasty!

Ryan O. J.

Yelp
The sushi is amazing not a fan of some Of the other items were not not what I expected but I love the atmosphere it's a very nice place to have dinner and drinks hours are great service is great

Ayudhia S.

Yelp
Went to Alice on a whim and felt like it's such a hidden gem in Dallas! Not only was the food phenomenal, but the service and environment was also great. The intimate setting of tables in the front make for a great date spot, but also great for friends as well. We ended up ordering a bunch of things on the menu to share: (1) Espresso Martini - one of my favorites in the city. It was strong and the beans are from the coffee shop next door. (2) Yellowtail Sashimi - they gave us a generous amount given its sashimi. Loved the added touch of sliced oranges to spruce up the flavor. (3) Steamed Buns - the texture of the buns were very fluffy and chewy and was a great combo with the brisket. It could've been better with a dipping sauce as the meat was on the drier side, but still flavorful! (4) Chinese Noodles - devoured this in less than a minute! The quail egg added a fun touch to our meal. (5) Alice roll, mama bear roll, and dragon roll - You HAVE to get the mama bear roll if you visit Alice. This was the table FAVORITE - the torched salmon on top of the roll added a smoky flavor and all of the add-ins worked very nicely together. (6) Korean BBQ wings - if i wasn't so full, these would've been great! They had such a strong Korean BBQ flavor come through and they was definitely more than enough to go around the table. I have been raving about this place non-stop since I've ate here but will definitely be visiting again!

John F.

Yelp
First time here, cocktails were perfect! Place was clean, bathrooms were spotless. Server was good, not great but I think it's a kitchen problem. There were 6 of us and everyone at the table received there orders 1-2 at a time. By the time everyone else was finished, my order arrived. We tried several different sushi rolls and they were all delicious. Valet had the evening off but parking was easy around the restaurant. We will return.

Alisha S.

Yelp
Cute little date spot. Nice, dark, and cozy. I got to try the lychee martini and it was delicious. So were the steamed buns and pork meatballs. They really hit the spot. Customer service was a 10/10 as well.

Yvette S.

Yelp
Alice is cute!! I went with my gals and had a good time. I will say if you're going with people who take food seriously -- this isn't the spot. We had the brussel sprouts which were DUNKED in sauce(personally, I have no problem with this so if you're not a saucy person maybe steer away?) The vegi roll was poppin, very crispy very yummy. The pad thai was pretty sad :/ it tasted like something you could buy in the refrigerator aisle -- which I'm not knocking refrigerated food! But def not worth the $. I forgot which cocktails I had but I was loving them!! The interior is cutesy! Lost of Alice in wonderland themes. Muy moody and velvet vibes. Who doesn't want to dine in a flamingoes galore?! All in all, I would go back to hunt down the drinks I liked and other food items -- because maybe that day just wasn't their day(when it comes to the pad Thai) and that's okay!! Excited to go back and see what else they have!!

Ben A.

Yelp
The food was good. That was the only nice thing I can say. We had a reservation and we're on time for that reservation. However, we were told it would be a half hour wait. We ended up having to cancel our reservation and sit at the bar. And they were not very accommodating. almost not worth having a reservation. The restaurant is small and loud.

Nicole L.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. It was okay - nothing really stood out and overall, the food was salty. They sat us in some back room with one other table and it definitely killed the vibe we got when we first walked it. Drinks were good though!

Lauren K.

Yelp
It was my birthday last night and they refuse to sit us until the full party arrived.... With traffic it took my friends a bit longer so they tell us we only have 30 minutes to eat and enjoy our night...... unbelievable as I made a reservation!!!

Mia D.

Yelp
Drinks are incredible, food is incredible. Love the atmosphere for dinner before a night out. A little bit loud for date night.

Admin O.

Yelp
Super hot and no central AC, just small units around the restaurant. BE AWARE. We had to wait almost 30 min for our reservation, we were literally sweating by the time they tried to seat us. Decided to leave and it ruined our 1 night out with a babysitter.

Celeste R.

Yelp
Came here for my best friends bday dinner and it was just sub par. It was a group of 6 that was originally suppose to be 8. We got seated, ordered drinks and our food. Drinks were great, food was ok but nothing to rave about. Overall we felt rushed to finish dinner. We could've been out at a decent time but everyone's food came out at different times. So one person would get one thing and 10/15 mins later another persons order would come out. The host came by and asked if we were about done and if the other two people would join us to which we said no they weren't goin g to make it. Then he comes back 20 mins later asking if we're almost done as he has another reservation to seat at our table. At this time we're still waiting on one persons food, so we tell him that and it comes 5 mins later. We finished dinner and went on our way. Cute place for drinks just don't expect to sit and enjoy your meal at the same time as the rest of your party.

Mark G.

Yelp
I've had a nice experience at Alice before, but as a neighbor of this establishment, I'm done with their valet service constantly parking cars on the sidewalk on Ross Ave. I've asked them not to before and I have used the 311 service to report the issue multiple times. Now I will just post a one star review for Alice every time I experience this inconsideration for those of us who live in the neighborhood.

Rayma D.

Yelp
My sushi was great as well as my drinks, the DJ was a bit loud and couldn't conversant much but definitely a cute spot to check out! They've got karaoke in the back room too!‍

Michelle J.

Yelp
Alice is a pan Asian fusion restaurant. Their food and cocktails are amazing and they have a very sexy vibe in there. The decor and ambiance is great for date night or girls night. The service is fast and the servers are very prompt. I definitely recommend.

Donna A.

Yelp
This is the first time I was able to stop by this restaurant I think it's a great place located I a nice area but don't take my word for it drive by there yourself they have a wonderful valet name Ivan who spirit , personality, professional, happy guy who will make yours stay great. And as for the menu just be sure to check out whatever you like I think you're like the food there . All these things that I've said are only my opinion nevertheless go there see all the happenings for yourself..............,.

Cute little spot for date night or a girls night! I would recommend ordering several things off of the menu and sharing the plates with the table. Food is all right but nothing really stuck out to me however the drinks were great. I personally did not partake but I do know that they have karaoke. Restrooms were clean and picture worthy. Would definitely go again if I had some girlfriends in town or just to hang out at the bar.

Yelp
Service and Ambiance were great! We also loved their playlist. All the food is served tapas style, which I love but none of the dishes wowed me. Definitely worth checking out and it's great for a date night, girls night out or an intimate party.
