ReelHouse Opens in Quincy’s Marina Bay | Eater Boston

"In Foxborough, I visited Alice in the Village (266 Patriot Pl.), an Alice in Wonderland–themed cafe offering high tea services with 'Eat Me!' and 'Drink Me!' menus, macarons, cake pops, scones, salads, soups, and more than 150 loose-leaf teas from Harney & Sons; the cafe takes reservations for tea service." - Dana Hatic

We were around for a festival & HAD to come here for the cute decor.. also needed to try their tea of course. I personally loved the taste of mine. It wasn’t too sweet & was very cute. The service workers here are very kind & helpful with the menu. Good recommendations! The building itself is just aesthetically pleasing. They separate the room where you order & where you pick up your drink. Ideally, not somewhere you really stay in and enjoy your drink since it’s pretty small indoors Try it!

Google
My review currently is based upon decorations and theme, as I didn't try either the tea or desserts. I am a huge Alice in Wonderland fan and this little shop made my heart so happy. It is absolutely gorgeous and worth a visit if you are in the area. There are so many details and it is obvious how much love has gone into making this place as beautiful as it is. I can't wait for a return trip to try the food and drinks Highly recommend for any Alice fans.

Google
This place came up for places to visit when we went to Mystic, and my wife was really interested in it. So we decided to make a stop and check it out. The place is named after Alice in wonderland. They have a menu full of different kinds of tea. They also had a section full of Lilo & Stitch items that were available for purchase. I think they change what they have depending on what’s popular. It has some very nice decorations and some snacks to have with tea

Google
Came back here in July, the prices are pretty pricy. But what you were getting was definitely worth going! The macaroons were so pretty and tasted so good!! The drinks were excellent too! I also couldn’t get enough of the decoration here too, it really makes you feel like you’re in Wonderland. Will definitely be coming back!

Google
Super cute little tea shop in the Olde Mystic Village. The aesthetic is cute and the menu items looked plentiful. The interior design is beautiful and we really enjoyed our time there. The staff is friendly and quick to help. Now for my standard comments. Location is well kept and clean.

Google
Loved it here! The decor inside is so fun and special. The drinks we chose were so delicious. Highly recommend, can't wait to go back next time I'm in the area.

Google
Such a cute cafe, I love the decor and Alice in Wonderland theme. The tea was good 8.5/10. I got a matcha, which wasn't the best but it could have been worse, 6.5/10. Overall I give this cafe a 4.5/5 ⭐️

Google
If you love books that contain thriller, horror, mystery, paranormal, imagination, and great authors, Alice in the village was a wonderful store to visit in Mystic Village. The decor of the store was done really well.

Yelp
Such a cute place! I went here with my girlfriend and a friend and we all had a great time. Their menu had several seasonal items. I got the tiramisu hot chocolate which had to be the best drink I've ever had. I also got 2 tiramisu macarons. When we walked in the place was busy but the cashier was quick with taking orders and making sure the drinks got out on time. If you're ever in mystic and want a nice place just hang and talk to your friends, definitely go here!

Yelp
Finally stopped by this tearoom in Mystic, and it's such a cozy little spot with a whimsical, Wonderland-like vibe that makes it feel special as soon as you walk in. I tried the blueberry butterfly pea tea topped with an edible flower; it was refreshing, lightly sweet, and looked gorgeous. They have a big variety of teas, including bubble tea, matcha, chai, and fun themed blends, plus plenty of mini desserts like macarons, scones, cupcakes, and pastries. It's not a full afternoon tea setup; you order at the counter and grab your tea and treats yourself, but it still feels like a nice experience. Seating is limited, with both indoor and outdoor options, so it's first come, first served. They also have a cute little shop full of gifts, books, and stationery, which makes it fun to browse while you're there. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area, and I'm already planning another visit.

Yelp
The decor is spot on! I love the window into Nextdoor and the little door into the next room! We joked that the macrons would make us tiny to go into the bookstore haha. The tea was lovely and the staff was quick and friendly!
google avatar

Meg M.

Yelp
This spot is adorable! It's very whimsical and the drinks and macarons are amazing! I've been a few times and have left very happy every time. There's always a ton of food traffic going in and out of the store, but you never have to wait long for your drink! If you're an Alice in wonderland fan, this is a spot you gotta put on your to do list!
google avatar

Monica B.

Yelp
That's an amazing place I think. I love a combination of half bookstore with spooky ambience and half café. This is a must if you visit Mystic . Service was good so many great books, yummy snacks, and perfect for Halloween or anytime of year.
google avatar

Sabrina A.

Yelp
My friends and I went here during a day trip to mystic. I got the Thai tea with boba and it was very good but wish it was colder. The staff was friendly and the drinks came out fairly quickly. The stop itself is gorgeous with tons of fun flowers and Alice and wonderland themed decor - food influencers dream. I would go back if I'm in the area. Not sure if this is the same place that does high tea since it looked very grab and go and didn't see too many food options on the menu besides macarons and scones.
google avatar

Tony B.

Yelp
If you were to drop this tea shop in the middle of Manhattan, it would still be a solid 4+ stars with a great variety of delicious teas and friendly employees. Being the only place where you can find matcha in the Village, this gets 5 stars. The ambiance is awesome whether you're 8 or 80.
google avatar

Yelp
Am I caught in the time warp for Alice in Wonderland? What a beautiful place. Every single detail complements the theme, from the name of the drinks, to the decor and names of the drinks. I got a coffee slushie with a coffee jellies. I like how one room, you order, and the other room you sit down and there are paintings and chairs you just like to take home. I strongly recommend.

Yelp
LOVE the decor in this place- perfect for photos!! My fiancée and I cherish this place whenever we visit Mystic as it reminds us of one of the first movies we saw together in the theatre when we were teens on a date- Alice in Wonderland. Service is typically prompt and there has never been a long line when we have visited the establishment. Here are my rankings on the macaroons: 1. red velvet !! so soft, gooey, and deliciously decadent 2. cookies and cream (delicious oreo-like flavor) 3. chocolate raspberry (perfect combo of sweet & fruity) 4. funfetti (basically vanilla but so pretty!) 5. vanilla (decent flavor, shell was a bit hard/stale)

Yelp
Alice in the village was a very decorative shop that gave me that nostalgic vibe from all the Alice and Wonderland statues and characters around the store. We got some teas to cool down a bit. I had the mad hatter colada with coconut and pineapple slush with a pineapple gummy and a sugar cherry. I added mango bubbles to it too. Refreshing sweet and hit the spot lovely. My girlfriend had the blueberry butterfly pea tea. Topped with an edible flower. I got to try it and it was delicious. They also have an assortment of different macaroons. I didn't buy any this time but my next go around ill give them a try.
google avatar

Antonietta D.

Yelp
Such a beautiful whimsical little place! Staff is super friendly! The macarons are amazing and bubble tea so delicious! Definitely a must when in Mystic!!
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
I have never had macaroons and they aren't bad, but it's definitely an acquired taste and texture! Different varieties to choose from including original flavors like chocolate and vanilla to fruity and sweet like mango and cotton candy Cute Alice in Wonderland theme too!!
google avatar

Lizzie R.

Yelp
The shop itself is super cute & well-themed. They even sell Alice in Wonderland books & other items. You can make your own bubble tea flavor combo but I never know what to put together so I choose an existing special - the Pink Flamingo. It was DELICIOUS and definitely more of a dessert. There's a few tables in the other part of the store and some fun chairs & couches. It was a nice touch. I will definitely be back next time I visit Mystic. Next time, I'll have to try the macaroons.
google avatar

Lauren C.

Yelp
Such cute decor!!! Ordered the scones which were decent. There's also a check-in offer for 10% off a tea. Great place for photo ops!
google avatar

Yelp
Alice in the Village is a unique store and Tea Room located in Olde Mistick Village. Once you walk in, you notice the beautiful decor and brings nostalgia to the classic Lewis Carrol tale "Alice in Wonderland." The menu offers food and teas. They also have books, stationary, china, and toys. I ordered the lavender milk tea bubble tea with tapioca. It was very good and tasted like lavender. Service was friendly and the drinks came out quickly. Alice in the Village is worth checking out the decor even if you don't order anything.
google avatar

Cheyenne M.

Yelp
This is a must-stop for bubble tea and Alice in Wonderland enthusiasts alike! The decor in the waiting/seating area is gorgeous and makes for a peaceful place for a date. If you're more apt to enjoy the fresh air- there is outdoor seating available as well. The waiting line for the ordering counter is surrounded by a shop filled with Alice in Wonderland themed gifts. There is definitely some unique things worth buying in there. We haven't tried any of the baked goods here, however the bubble and milk teas are amazing! As pictured we ordered matcha, strawberry, plain and mango teas. All creamy and delicious! I noticed that the drinks used to be served in cups with cat ears and a cute label, but it seems they have stopped doing that since! Those little details are cute, but not necessary to enjoy the product!
google avatar

Tiffany B.

Yelp
Stumbled in out of curiosity and was blown away upon entering. The interior is absolutely beautiful and they killed it with the Alice in Wonderland theme. They have trinkets and tea cup sets for sale, as well as food and drink to theme.
google avatar

Sarah F.

Yelp
After adopting Ducky, my boyfriend and I came here for me to grab tea. Excellent and affordable chai but MAN the decor here?!!! It's incredible and so on theme. There's flowers on almost every wall and decor from the ceiling. It feels so much like Wonderland. Definitely the kind of place to grab tea and sit for a bit, maybe even take some Insta pics. I will say I had to wait in line for a while, got impatient then left then came back and still had to wait, but it was perhaps just a busy time. Either way, I recommend stopping by even just to see it.
google avatar

Chelsea C.

Yelp
Atmosphere is everything! They went above and beyond with the decor here and it was like stepping into a new world! I ended up getting the Queen of Hearts based on the employees recommendation and it was so refreshing! It tastes like a chocolate covered raspberry. It was so nice on a hot day. I really liked how it was a slushie/smoothie consistency with bubbles! And the presentation was on point ! Would love to try more next time !

Yelp
The store was very unique and so cute! I bought a green Matcha latte and it was delicious. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Sierra G.

Yelp
After listening to the teenagers behind the counter call each other bitches within earshot of children, someone handed me the nastiest, watered-down matcha that was leaking everywhere. Macarons were delicious though

Lee S.

Yelp
If you want a variety of Boba or fruit teas, go elsewhere. The place had a small charm but was really let down with the ability to customize my tea. I wanted a basic flavored green tea, with my choice of adders, not milk, not slush not whey and it wasn't available. While I like black tea, green is so much better. This might stick to a high tea piece and maybe I am not too enamored with the Alice piece since Disney ruined that as well
google avatar

Shelley L.

Yelp
I took my kids here because I thought they would enjoy the aesthetics of the cafe. It definitely screams Alice in Wonderland. It's cute, quaint and unique. Also one of the few places in the village where we could actually get something versus trinket shops. Kids love bubble tea so this was a must-stop location as there are very few bubble tea stores in the area. We must have arrived during peak time because it was a long line and a long wait. A bit unbearable but I think it stemmed from many patrons' questions about what the beverages were and how to customize. Ordered a thai iced tea bubble tea and mango with strawberry popping bubbles. You pick up your order in the room next door which has a few seats and some Alice themed chairs. The bubble tea was actually okay. Quenched our thirst and went about our day. Pricing is okay, too.
google avatar

Jenny B.

Yelp
This place is beyond adorable! My daughter and I loved our beverages and can't wait to return! Such cute decor and family-friendly.

R M.

Yelp
It's lost it's charm just like it's other sister stores in Mistick Village. They had maybe 6 or so varieties of macaroons today, the case did not look anything close to the case in the pics in the reviews - and it used to. No chocolate, matcha/green tea, vanilla, etc. They did have rose though but we still left empty handed. Less merchandise to browse as well. Underwhelmed. What's going on with this group of stores (Arisu/Cloak & Wand, etc.)??
google avatar

Katie C.

Yelp
Fantastical cafe! Fully decorated in an Alice in Wonderland theme, complete with themed drinks and macarons. Staff was friendly and helpful, service is quick. Recommend this Instagram worthy cafe!
google avatar

Cassie R.

Yelp
This place is absolutely magical! I was visiting a friend in NYC last summer, and she took me out here as a special treat. When you walk into the main room, there is a plethora of Disney inspired tea paraphernalia on display for purchase, and they have a huge menu of drinks and desserts to choose from. If you order the Vety Merry Unbirthday, it comes with a lit birthday candle, and they sing for you - its also delicious! The second room is a cozy and whimsically decorated seating area. Space fills up quickly, so try to plan your arrival between rushes. This place made me feel like a kid again, and I would definitely make the trip over again for it!
google avatar

Helen Z.

Yelp
Super cute Alice in wonderland themed cafe with bubble tea, regular teas, and small selection of sweets and macarons. We got peach iced tea and Thai milk tea with coffee jelly and they were both tasty, but be sure to remember to ask for less sugar if that's what you want, as they were a little too sweet.

Lynn L.

Yelp
I thought " what a great idea for a gift, assorted teas in an Alice in The Village tea tin (as described on their website)". Except they don't carry tins anymore, but I was welcome to a paper bag. Maybe time to update your website. I made a special trip for this. Bubble tea was good. Ambiance was very Disney-forward (what has Lilo and Stitch to do with Alice?). Definitely visit the bookstore next door. It's perfect.
google avatar

Yelp
This gets 5 stars for being perfectly themed. I loved it. Boba was good and service was mediocre but the ambiance was fabulous

Yelp
Must go to the "MYSTICal'" wonderful wonderland inside Alice in the Village in Old Mistick Village in Mystic CT. This MAGICAL AND MYSTICal shop beautifies and brings to life the Alice in Wonderland theme with decor that DAZZLES the eye! Yelp
We have been there twice in the last few months. It's actually the whole reason I wanted to go to mystic in the first place. I absolutely love Alice in wonderland. I think the service is as quick as it can be but the line can get really overwhelming. I didn't want to get a drink. I just wanted to look at the store and it was kind of hard to do with the line there. I did purchase a locket which was gorgeous and a good price. The inside is totally worth it. Just checking out. It feels like you entered the rabbit hole into the wonderland. However, I think the food and everything lacks a little bit that could just be my opinion. I got the Boston cream bonbon. I don't know what it was called exactly but it was really good. However, my mom's gotten multiple drinks and hasn't liked any of them, but it could just be what she's used to but they look adorable.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is an absolute must if you find yourself in Mystic! It's a cute little cottage in the Mystic downtown area where other shops are located at. When you enter inside, it is a inspired design of Alice in Wonderland. It is absolutely stunning. There are also items on sale such as cups, stuffed toys etc. They are known for their boba teas and it did not disappoint! I ordered the taro boba and it was super good. Not too sweet and the tapioca pearls were great. They also sell macaroons! I will definitely try the next time around. After you order, you go to the other side of the store to pick up your items. Plenty of seating to choose from. Loved this experience. 100% recommend!
google avatar

Francesca F.

Yelp
The way this little gem operates has changed through COVID but the ambiance and quality of food and beverage were worth suffering through a kind of DIY tea party process. The memorobia is absolutely incredible with every inch of the place covered with all things Alice! It's required that you spend $25 on food to get a tea tray, but it's definitely worth it for the aesthetic and for a nice sampling of all the flavors they have to offer.
google avatar

Kevin D.

Yelp
A very whimsical and fantastical display of baked treats and teas of many types. I am not a tea person, so I let the girlfriend go wild. She had a hard time ordering a green tea with flavoring. She had to send her drink back because they used macha instead of actual green tea. The bakery had a giant display full of macaroons. We got a dozen and we had a few. They were very tasty and very pretty! It's a great place to visit and get a little sweet treat. If you're in the area give this place a visit!
google avatar

Pedro V.

Yelp
We ordered a milk bubble tea and scones, chocolate chip and cheddar chive. Everything was so yummy!!! The service was great and the staff were very friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
my mom loved her macaroons! I got her chocolate and pistachio. very cute place! i loved the big pink chair. love that it's alice in wonderland themed! staff was very nice too.

Yelp
I absolutely adore this cute cafe!! I visited only because the outside was decorated whimsically and I wanted to see the inside. The decor is fun and playful. There are a good amount of trinkets to purchase while in line. There is a tea area that is for reservations only. However, you can order drinks and sweets in the line. Service was friendly and fast. I purchased a dozen macarons and a bubble tea. Everything was absolutely delicious!! I have no complaints about this cafe. I'd love to come back and try the tea sitting area.
google avatar

Gina M.

Yelp
What a cute find! The decor was lively and picture worthy, and the gifts in side were cute and unique. We got tea and macarons and both were delicious and refreshing. I would say it was a bit cramped to wait for everything to e made but I would still return. Tons of photo ops or insta shot potentials. Price: reasonable Parking: tons but you have to walk to this location because it's a mass parking lot for all the shopping plaza. Service: fast
google avatar

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Such a cool little shop! The inside is super cool with items to purchase. I got the watermelon tea with strawberry popping boba and it was delicious! The peach with tapioca was good, too.
google avatar

Megan H.

Yelp
Soo cute! Very fun! Also delicious! Loved the vibes! 10/10 would go again! Tried a bubble tea and a chai and both were delicious!
google avatar

Myly N.

Yelp
I'm bummed they removed a lot of their tables. We knew it would be fcfs if we wanted to sit down and enjoy our boba tea and "afternoon tea tower" (spend at least $25 in food). I bought 4 drinks (some with boba and some without) and a dozen macarons. The boba teas was underwhelming. It's not flavorful nor worth the cost. We had one drink that was really watered down. The macarons were tasty, though.
google avatar

Syp V.

Yelp
Wait...boba in an Alice in Wonderland themed shop?! YES and YES. I was a little sus at first on the quality of the boba and if their concept was trying to do too much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Correction: blown away. I didn't realize they mainly specialized in bubble tea plus had an adorable cooler case of sweet treats. Got a tasty lemon poppy macaron because why not. When you step in, every detail is nailed. Look up and you'll see gorgeous flowers adorning the ceiling of the shop. Then in the flower-framed doorway to your left is a seating area (a.k.a. The Mad Hatter counter) plus where you pick up your order. Instrumental Disney songs filled the air. So cute. I was thinking they'd do well if they threw tea parties on this side. A sign on the counter in front of the beautiful pink tea cubbies mentioned you can make a custom tea blend. What a great gift idea! Back to the shop side though, you'll see all the Alice details...melting clocks, mirrors, tea pots, etc. A few shelves of gift items...books, mugs, activity kits. Wow, just wow!! And I'm not even an Alice in Wonderland fan (admittedly haven't seen the movie fully...deprived I know). My drink had arrived and I had nearly forgotten why I was there! I had gotten the taro milk tea with almond milk and regular boba. Delish! The boba was soft and taro flavor was on point without the almond milk impacting the flavor (being from Cali, we've got high standards for our bobas). My only wish was that the drink could've been colder. It seemed like the ice was melting super quickly in the warm tea. Maybe if they cooled it with a shaker first (or longer?), it could've been better? I think it was only a staff of 2 people so can't complain. It definitely didn't take away from the lovely experience. Highly recommend for a unique experience in the Mystic Village shops. What a gem in CT!!!
google avatar

Alexa R.

Yelp
Super cute whimsical Alice in Wonderland themed tea shop! They actually sell tea from my favorite tea brand, Harney & Sons. I recommend the Hot Cinnamon Spice or Cherry Blossom green tea! Some economical considerations when deciding what size to get: the hot tea pot is $6 and has 16 ounces, whereas you can get two 16 ounce cups for about the same price at $6.25. Therefore, we got two 16oz cups, which come with two tea bags in each (12oz will come with one tea bag each). Be careful though - they serve the tea piping hot!
google avatar

Bridget K.

Yelp
This store and tea shop is absolutely adorable! This place took my breath away... the theming, the merchandise, and the food were all incredible. They sell books, stuffed animals, fun knickknacks, and more that are all Alice in Wonderland, Disney, Tea, Cats, etc. themed. Of course we had to get a snack while we were here. My mom and I got peach ice teas, and a chocolate truffle bomb cake. Both were delicious and the cups had cat-shaped lids! So so cute. Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Saha S.

Yelp
This is a nice little shop you pass as soon as you enter the Mystic Village. The service is great and they have a pretty cool Alice in wonderland theme. I tried the blueberry scones which which pretty good and not dry. They also had chive and cheddar scones which tasted excellent. They also had several types of drinks. I tried the mango milk boba and the mango juice boba. The milk boba honestly tasted a little bland but the juice boba tasted perfect.

Yelp
The store itself was beautiful. The decorations and theme were very well played. The staff was discourteous. My wife wanted to do a tea blend. I waited on a long line and she went to the check out area where the tea was. My wife pulled me off the long line as an employee said someone would be out to help here shortly. We waited for ten minutes. When we asked we were told we had to get back on line. A patron sitting near the tea even said they were told to wait here. We went back on the line for another 15 minutes to be told we didn't have to be on that line. This place was a joke in terms of service.
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
Such a fun and whimsical store in Mystic! We wandered in just expecting bubble tea, but found so much more. The decor inside is an Alice in Wonderland fan's dream from Alice coming through the ceiling above the macarons to flowers and colorful lanterns across the ceiling and walls. The bubble tea was good, but nothing memorable. I felt the ratio of tea to boba was a bit off based on what I drink at my home stores. We did see some cute teas being served to other guests. I can see this being the perfect place to bring a child for their birthday! The treats looked delicious and seemed fairly priced.

Yelp
Veryyyyy cute alice in wonderland based bubble tea/macaroon/book shop. They have all sorts of figurines and books for sale. Its a very detailed shop and an overall cute experience.
