Been here many times, it will always be in our rotation. Have never had a bad experience here. The staff are friendly and helpful. The drinks are insanely good and there has always been something new to try! Photos included are from multiple visits!

One of my favorite cocktail lounges in the Omaha area! I love everything from the decor to the actual drinks. I love the speakeasy vibe to it since it is a little tucked away. This place has such a whimsical charm to it. The bartenders and servers have all been great! The drinks I have tried from their menu have been delicious and unique.

Google
Alice is actually in the lower level of the building and I am not sure what they serve down there. The main level is Legacy Chophouse and that is what this review pertains to. I had the cold water lobster, plus a crab leg "enhancement" with charred sweet corn and calamari. My wife had the steak kabobs with asparagus and French onion soup. The calamari is the best I have ever had. We both enjoyed our food a lot, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and service level was great. Tables are generously-sized, and the chairs are very comfortable and upscale. It was 5:30 on a Friday so it was busy. The parking is on the tight side, but after the adjacent credit union is closed you can park in their lot. They do need to update their online menu to remove the $80 seafood platter as it is no longer offered. We will be back again soon!

Google
Alice is a great cocktail bar. Tucked away in west Omaha, this is a one-in-one-out bar that doesn’t get overcrowded, so you always feel you have space. Décor is very nice with couches in the middle and tables around the edges and a bar. I loved the Saturn tiki-themed drink so much I had to double up. Brothers Grimm is also a top notched cocktail for those seeking a little more than a standard old fashioned.

Google
Alice is a standout cocktail bar tucked away in the suburbs of Omaha, offering a unique and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for a laid-back night out. The drink menu is definitely something special—full of creative, well-crafted cocktails that use fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Whether you're a fan of classic cocktails with a twist or want to try something completely off-the-beaten-path, Alice has you covered. The bartenders are friendly, skilled, and happy to guide you through their exciting list of offerings. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with stylish décor that creates a comfortable yet vibrant space for both casual sippers and cocktail connoisseurs alike. It’s a place that feels like it’s designed for conversation and enjoying a good drink. However, the one thing that threw off the vibe during my visit was the music. It was noticeably too loud, and the upbeat, club-like tracks didn’t quite match the more relaxed, intimate feel of the bar. It made it a bit challenging to carry on a conversation, which, in a bar like Alice, feels like it should be the focus. While Alice excels in drink quality and overall atmosphere, I’d highly recommend dialing back the volume on the music—this isn’t a nightclub, and the space feels better suited for a more subdued playlist that complements the chill ambiance. Still, with the great service, inventive cocktails, and cozy environment, it’s definitely worth a visit. Just maybe bring earplugs—or hope they’re working on adjusting the soundtrack!

Google
Alice creates an intimate atmosphere with its decor and magnificent staff. They create wonderful brews for drinkers and non drinkers alike. The furniture looks and feels amazing further bringing patrons into a sense of comfort and conversation. Everything about this space is intentional, aesthetic, and cozy. I love it here and so will you.

Google
Excellent experience! Loved the Alice in Wonderland theme and the extra attention to detail with the menu (it looks like a novel). The staff, and our waiter in particular was very knowledgeable and gave us excellent recommendations. My wife ordered the mystery elixir, which was quite refreshing, and our friends both got the Bartenders choice. The waiter had them give him their flavor preferences, and he took it to the bartender, who then created 2 of the cocktails from the menu that matched their flavor palate. One got The Saturn and one got Love in a Nutshell. They loved the recommendations. We all thoroughly enjoyed the smoke and flaming cocktails. It was just a fun experience all around, and we loved the chill music and dark ambiance. It just felt like a proper speakeasy. The drinks were very well made too.

Google
True to the speakeasy form, this was somewhat hard to find in the basement of a large, almost vacant building. Was this ever cool! Of course the theme is Alice in Wonderland and the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. The menu is a little book 📖 which the waitress was very good about showing the vast array of drinks. While they do have appetizers, we didn't order any this visit. The drinks were really fun and creative-- and the tiki drinks were lit on fire right at the table. 🔥 Service was fantastic, and don't be afraid to try something new (see: Electric Dust).

Yelp
This was real fun! We went with friends on a double date and, thankfully, there wasn't a very long wait even on a Friday night! We stopped over after a Yelp event at Spin and it was a great way to end the night out with some friends! Our server was great and she even pushed us to try something that wouldn't usually get. That they have very unique drinks and we could always get our "normal" ones when we go somewhere else. Not pictured is the drink they set on fire and it was a fun and unique show!
google avatar

Yelp
I loooove Alice! The atmosphere, drinks, service are all top notch. My husband and I came in for a drink after a social event nearby on a Friday evening. It was busy, but not packed so we're able to be seated right away at the bar. I highly recommend bar seating at fancy cocktail bars like this because it's so much fun to chat with the bartenders and watch them work. Soe took care of us on this night and was so much fun to chat with! I didn't know exactly what I wanted, so asked for something not too sweet and a little fancy in presentation and got the King In Yellow - a Tiki drink lit on fire, which was perfect and exactly what I wanted.

Yelp
Great little speakeasy that has outlasted a few restaurants upstairs! That says a lot right there. The greeting was friendly and accommodating, when we were walked in they led us to the bar and sat us together. The bartender was sunny and talked to us about the menu. We placed lir orders: Brothers Grimm, Smoked Old Fashioned and the Zombie were all expertly made. All were delicious and smooth drinking for a pleasant cocktail experience. I highly recommend giving this spot a try!

Yelp
Wow!! Love, love?Love everything about this hidden gem! The concept, the decor, the themed drinks, and the service. We came for a double date night after dinner and had a great time sampling some of their staple drinks and seasonal options. Will definitely come back!

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet! This is one of the coolest basement bars in Omaha. Indeed, I've not seen a better basement bar anywhere else. The staff is cool, both barkeepers and servers. The place is beautifully decorated. Seating is great. The bar is long and well done, plus well-stocked. One of the favorites, for me, is that it's largely hidden. No sign outside, at least last time we were out there. Used to be that the stairs down to it had no indication that it was there either. One just had to know to go to the door and come in. I have several great memories from being there and am actually sorry I've not already reviewed this YEARS ago.

Yelp
What an adorable little spot and surprisingly not that busy when I visited late on a Saturday. Their menu is expansive and all the drinks I tried were so good and unique. Our bartender was very passionate about the menu, giving great options and walking us through the cocktails to make it a true experience. Clover club ended up being my favorite but rope bunny was a close second.

Yelp
I have been to Alice a handful of times and it is always such a great experience. The staff is incredible, friendly, conversational, and professional mixologists. I had two of the best espresso martinis in town here. The presentation is worth the cost of the drink alone! They are also now serving THC infused drinks too! They do not offer food, but the legcy chop house upstairs looks like a good place to start.

Yelp
You need to check this place out in West Omaha, and make sure to wear a sultry and fancy fit, because that is exactly how you will feel walking through these doors. Couches and tables, all with elegant touches of fun decor, and wallpaper of floral bugs was simply a divine ambiance. The mystic continues as you get a large book style menu, each drink carefully and uniquely crafted. The menu has a legend that lets you quickly find some special features, and I would recommend trying a little something unique, just for the fun! Out server, Sonya, was fantastic. They walked us through the menu, recommendations based on our palette and preferences, and consistently ensured that we were well taken care of. I went with a friend, but this would be a very romantic and unique date idea as well! My friend and I wanted to cross mixologist off of our bucket list, and this was a great place to do it! My drink was the Sweater Weather Sipper. While I think there are more fun drinks on the menu, it was delicious and warm both in temperature and in flavor, and generous in the size compared to some other drinks. My friend got the Saturn, which includes a palate enhancer, and I do recommend giving it a try! My friend also tried one of the dessert cocktails, and it included a fun fog bubble effect, and was absolutely delicious. This joint in pricey, which is understandable for the elite mixology used, the thoughtful design, and elegant atmosphere - but it is a memorable experience worth giving some unique drinks a try!

Yelp
Something different - Alice in Wonderland themed speakeasy! Have been hearing about this place for a while now, so we decided to finally try it out. First, the location of this speakeasy is in West Omaha instead of downtown, which was a nice change of scenery. However, we did not expect it to be that busy! As a group of four, we waited in line for about 30-40 minutes before they had 4 spots open at the bar. It wasn't the most ideal seating arrangement of the night, but I actually enjoyed watching the bartenders work their magic on all the creative drinks. The ambience of the speakeasy was nice - not too quiet, not too loud. The drinks were very aesthetically pleasing and creative - loved reading the creative menu. I got the Saturn which was a gin-based cocktail - highly recommended, it even comes with fire! They also have some very creative and aesthetic mocktails as well.

Yelp
Alice was a true delight. A speakeasy that embodies the feeling of exclusivity, high end, with intentionally well crafted cocktails. The bartenders care about the process and are well versed in their crafts. Alice is ideal for a date, a casual night out, or if you're looking for a unique experience. Be sure to keep the front door closed though.

Yelp
I don't think their strongest team was behind the bar on the Monday before Thanksgiving...when we asked for descriptions of a few drinks on the menu, she seemed uncertain and resorted to reading select words from the description on the menu. Since we can read, that wasn't super helpful, and my first round ended up being a too-sweet riff on an Old Fashioned (despite me asking and then being assured that it wasn't too sweet). Our second round was much stronger, as we decided not to rely on any bartender suggestions this time. We went with the Velvet Rabbit (mezcal, falernum, Benedictine, lime, egg white) and a pour of the Sweet Grass bourbon. The Velvet Rabbit was equal parts weird and delicious, and not too sweet. It was unlike any drink I've had before, which is quite the accomplishment. Honestly, it was perfection and one of those drinks that I'll remember for quite some time (and hope it's still on the menu next time we're in town for the holidays). Prices have gone up since we were here a few years ago. The Monday before Thanksgiving, we were the only customers in the place when we walked in around 7 pm, but very shortly after we settled in, several large groups came in, so it stopped feeling weird. The bartenders (again, maybe not their strongest crew on a Monday after I'm sure their first-line crew worked the weekend) weren't chatty at all and generally avoided us, even though we intentionally sit at the bar in order to chat with the bartenders, learn more about various liquors and mixers, and find out what's hiding up their sleeves off-menu. We had a great experience with our bartender here last time, but last time was a Saturday, so I'm thinking our mistake was going on a Monday.

Yelp
Really fun place to get a drink! We waited a bit for a table, only 5 mins or so, and liked our table location. The menu is fairly extensive, but nicely organized by flavor profile. I loved the indoor ambiance and decor, it felt like we were walking back into the roaring 20s with the velour seating and fancy cocktails. I ordered the "love in a nutshell," which came with a coffee scented smoke bubble. That was seriously a cool touch, the first one burst but she added a second that stayed for a surprising amount of time! It had a nice coffee scent to it. My friend ordered the Saturn which came with "electridust buzz powder" that kind of numbed your mouth when you took a drink, an interesting mouthfeel with that and the drink flavor combined. The velvet rabbit was fabulous, the volcanic black salt was a unique addition to the sour-sweet flavor profile. Another win was the Brothers Grimm, the fat washed bourbon was a full-bodied pairing to the light cinnamon honey flavor. Kind of an odd location for this level of bar, but worth the drive out!

Yelp
A great Omaha secret! It's a lot less secret now, as there is a beautiful sign above the stairwell leading down. There is a guest stand in the hallway before the entrance. We didn't need a code or password to get in. Be prepared for a wait if you go on a weekend night, but it's worth the wait! The vibes are immaculate. The lighting and decor and wonderfully Alice in Wonderland themed. They have a great menu selection with plenty of descriptive options. Some are smoked, firey, THC, or use specialty ice. The firey cocktails are so fun! You can tell the servers and bartenders really like their jobs and put the proper time and care into each drink, even if it's super busy. They also have snacks and mocktails as well.

Yelp
Came on a for Friday date night. This speakeasy is one of the easiest to join, literally just need to stand in line to get in. There was a variety of seating and getting our drinks was an experience since one of them was on fire. Good for a date or group get together when we went they let everyone take their time.
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
Loved the speakeasy ambience and Alice in Wonderland theme! Drinks are creative and on the pricier side which is to be expected for a higher-end cocktail bar. The Velvet Rabbit drink was excellent and customer service was top notch as well. This is a great place to stop for pre-dinner drinks in West Omaha. Very limited food menu with just a few snack options, but plenty of parking. I will definitely be back to visit again.
google avatar

Madison J.

Yelp
The vibes, service and drinks here are all 10/10. Friday and Saturday nights when busy can be a little slower, but nothing that should steer you away from experiencing this incredible bar. Drinks are a little more expensive than the average Omaha bar, but worth every penny! Every single drink we have had has been absolutely delicious and unique to anything we've tried before! Perfect for date night or night out with friends!
google avatar

Yelp
fun speakeasy in west omaha! cocktails are super fresh, unique & if your choose wisely, on fire! loved the menu as a book & stain glass nod to alice in wonderland. lots of cozy seating!
google avatar

Tope B.

Yelp
We love this place! It has the coolest atmosphere that is cozy yet trendy and a perfect place to go for a relaxed but upscale night out. The drinks here are incredibly unique with a variety of ingredients. All drinks that I've tried there are beautifully presented and well balanced and delicious. The service is always excellent. Drinks are on the pricier side but worth it!
google avatar

Clara L.

Yelp
I am not totally sure the names of these two drinks but I went to Alice after few months after my 21st to experience a speakeasy! The drinks were really pricy (for show) but it didn't seem like the employees were too excited to "give the show." My mom ordered a drink and they made the same one as mine instead of hers, and didn't say anything, but her second drink she got was terrible. She couldn't drink it, but they did make her a new one. My drink was mostly ice which i get, but for it being really expensive I would typically want a little less. It was a very nice casual place people were mostly just on dates and the vibe was pretty cool of the place. I would go back, but not my ultimate fav.
google avatar

Andrea B.

Yelp
Really great service and such a cute speakeasy with a fun these. Tasty drinks and whimsical ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
Omaha loves a speakeasy! Alice is a great one. The service was great and everyone was so friendly! I had a great time and can't wait to get back.
google avatar

Pamela S.

Yelp
The staff members were fabulous. Ambiance was perfectly moody. Great drink selection. Would highly recommend for a date night or a fun night out!
google avatar

Austin B.

Yelp
We got there a little after 10 and waited about 20 minutes to be sat which we were expecting! The place looked fun and we were ready! After being sat we had no service. No service and no server. We eventually had to pull someone to grab our order. After waiting about 25 more minutes and no drinks, we left. Very unfortunate as we had been looking forward to this place.
google avatar

Jen R.

Yelp
Alice is of course a "speakeasy" so the price of the drinks were totally expected! I was not expecting a long line to get in, which in reality moved very quickly! The ambiance was very unexpected too though! Aesthetically, it was all perfect under the Alice in Wonderland theme, but the music was not the vibes. It was royalty-free techno club music. Service was great though! They gave awesome recommendations and were great at explaining different drinks and snacks! Overall, not what I expected, but still a really fun place to go to have a girls night or a special, romantic date night!
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
Alice is a fantastic bar/speakeasy located in west Omaha as part of the Maven group. We had a bit of a unique experience visiting, since not many other people were willing to brave the snow storm for their cocktails, but I think they were well worth it. The interior is decorated like Alice in wonderland although the very impressive array of liquor is what caught my eye. The bartenders were very polite and knowledgeable about the menu; they were even willing to accommodate some special requests as we came during a time where they were changing the menu over. Both of the cocktails I had were well balanced, flavorful, and very enjoyable. I'd recommend Alice to anyone wanting an elevated cocktail experience and I certainly hope to be back soon.
google avatar

Kristy H.

Yelp
Can't believe I've never reviewed Alice before. It's my favorite bar in Omaha! I've been a raving fan since it opened years ago. I absolutely adore the ambiance, playful staff and the attention to detail of the cocktails. This is what craft cocktails are all about. Can't say enough positive things.
google avatar

Li'Son H.

Yelp
Love the cool dark speakeasy, they added a beautiful sign before you walk In that pulls the look together. Drinks are crafty and delicious. I've always had kind services. Looking forward to my next date night here
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
This was my absolute favorite bar I've gone too. Drinks weren't horribly priced and tasted AMAZING, had a delicious charcuterie board there. The server was so fun to talk to and did a great job explaining to us how to do the absinthe drip. She also was just super funny and we had a great time. We went when there wasn't many people, and we had a blast. The lighting was so nice, the wall decor was really interesting to look at and just all around we had an amazing experience here. Fridays and Saturdays there's a magician that comes in, so we will have to come on one of those days.
google avatar

Linda N.

Yelp
Alice is a hip and cool bar serving unique drinks. The semi hidden speakeasy has a large menu of mixed drinks with plenty of high end spirits to choose from. I belie We ordered a couple of drinks that the server lit on fire for an interesting show. I'd like to try all of the interesting drinks I saw. This is a great place for bachelor/bachelorette parties looking for a chill vibe. It would be good for first dates as well.
google avatar

Rick H.

Yelp
Always a pleasure. Service, cocktails, and atmosphere always top notch. My drink was on-point and the staff that helped us was good.
google avatar

Krista H.

Yelp
Posh / Edgy / Covert Great place for going out for drinks with friends! We all got different cocktails and had a blast trying out different ones. I got the El Diablo and loved it. It had tequila, ginger beer, lime and simply syrup. My only complaint was that it was very hot and humid in The restaurant.
google avatar

Shannon W.

Yelp
This place has a beautiful vibe and always amazing service. They really are mixologists and not "just servers". You can order a martini and they'll ask you every question to get the exact martini you want. Their expertise elevates the experience and I highly recommend stopping in on a date night out!
google avatar

Tracy L.

Yelp
Alice never disappoints. The drinks are amazing every time. I love trying new things and asking about different drinks. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the ingredients they use. They are a little pricey, but you are paying for the experience. Check them out!
google avatar

Whitney S.

Yelp
Fun hidden bar underneath Jams resteraunt. Elegant place with Alice in wonderland vibes. Service was great and presentation of drinks were amazing. Prices were more than we were expecting for the amount of some drinks!
google avatar

Lucy N.

Yelp
We LOVED this hidden gem! What an unexpected location for such a fantastic speakeasy. We had been to a couple of the other related bars, so we were thrilled to realize this was only a short drive from where we were staying! The atmosphere as you descend into this magical land was EVERYTHING. From the ALICE on the wall to the backlit bar, to the tons of different seating options, we were totally sold. I loved the storybook menus and the staff was so fun and welcoming. The flaming drinks? Amazing.

Linda B.

Yelp
I take all my out of town guests here. The atmosphere is great and the drinks unbelievable. You don't need to stay too long, you pay a good price for premier drinks, but at least stop in for a couple rounds
google avatar

Ambre M.

Yelp
I was with a smallish group as an "end of season" celebration on a weeknight. We were able to be seated quickly. The decor was cool- unique artwork and gels over lights. Had a nice ambiance. Our server chatted a bit about the drink menu and gave us suggestions and opinions about our choices, which was nice. Overall, I will make it back and try a few more drinks and hang out.
google avatar

Madeline P.

Yelp
A cozy, romantic spot to enjoy hand crafted cocktails. Located under Jams out in West Omaha. Alice brings some of the magic of Alice in Wonderland to Omaha. Every cocktail is unique and complex. The service here is always amazing! Their mixologists can make you something off the menu if you just tell them what kind of cocktail you like! There are different seating areas, all interesting and fun! It's fun to sit at the bar and watch them create each cocktail! I highly recommend trying out Alice if you haven't yet!

Mohanad S.

Yelp
This used to be our favorite spot because of their great selection of unique and funky drinks. However, the recent staff changes have been disappointing--several team members have been rude and indifferent. The manager, Owen, seems to be struggling to maintain the quality and atmosphere that once made this place special. Unfortunately, after multiple bad experiences, we won't be returning.
google avatar

Jackie R.

Yelp
If you can only choose one bar to go to, choose Alice. Probably the coolest speakeasy I've been to. Love the Alice in Wonderland theme; it's obviously based on that but also very understated. Which makes it both classy and mysterious, with a touch with eeriness but not creepy. They really outdid themselves on on the tiny details and ambiance. It's one of those places, you can just sit and spend hours just looking at everything. Ok drinks. Drinks were equally amazing. I loved that they have a great selection of different drinks : fruity, bitter, nutty, etc. They all have a great selection of what the drink tastes like and it's on point. Service was awesome. They are super busy on weekends, and there can be a wait. Even though they were busy, our server was super nice and checked in letting us know he'd be with us soon. We maybe only waited 10 minutes to put our order in and I was so busy taking in the place, I didn't notice the wait time. Just be patient. They get packed and bust their butts to serve everyone. We got there about 10:00pm on a Saturday and our wait time was only 10 minutes. If there's just two of you, you can probably get in sooner - more seating for two. It's worth whatever wait you have though. Truly. Especially if you're an Alice in Wonderland fan! I now have to stop in here every time I visit Omaha. Side note: when you get there, you wait outside the door for the hostess to take your name and party number. She regularly is coming back out.
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
Hands down a must-do when in Omaha! Having been born and raised in Omaha I have yet to see a concept as well done as Alice. This is truly a hidden gem. The ambiance is perfect with the dimly lit rooms and perfectly-selected décor. You can't go wrong with any of the drinks. Each one is as unique in its presentation as its flavor profile. I will certainly be back to Alice any time I'm back in Omaha.
google avatar

Andrea T.

Yelp
We enjoyed ourselves. It's located in Jams on the bottom/basement floor. I think that's great! You could go to Jams for something to eat, and get either a before or after dinner cocktail. Between the two of us, we each had three drinks, which ran us about $100 with tax and everything else. I understand some have balked at the prices, but they're well-made. Strong, but not too strong, that works for us. They have a nice variety to chose from. We went early, around 5:30 on a Saturday. We had no problem finding a table, nor did we have any bad service- all good. I imagine that might be a different story if we went later in the evening. My husband and I are old and lame. We're usually home before 9, so it works to our advantage. Like with any new establishment, there might be some service issues. Have some patience. The only other thing I would suggest is to maybe offer a happy hour?

Anne E.

Yelp
Girls weekend. 5 pm on a Friday. Great drinks! Pull hard on the door as we thought it was closed at first because we couldn't get the door open!
google avatar

Analisa P.

Yelp
Such a great venue for an elevated evening cocktail. The bartenders all know their offerings inside and out and can make knowledgeable recommendations if you aren't quite sure which beverage to choose. I went with (I believe) the Saturn, which was set on fire and had a very cool sensory aspect added on. I don't want to spoil the surprise for those who haven't ordered it before, but just ask for the drink with the blue powder on the side of the glass.
google avatar

Big B.

Yelp
We loved Alice! and while we loved the ambience and the spirit of the endeavor, we also loved the two (female) bartenders. We initially ordered the Sazerac and the Planters' punch and we were happy with them (clearly the booze handnt hit us) we them ordered the Zombie (cray cray!) and the Last word...and man, were we floating.. anyways. great drinks, lovely place and wonderful staff! our new fav place for a Sunday evening!
google avatar

James V.

Yelp
Delightful ambiance and fun menu, but pack your patience. Service is incredibly slow.
google avatar

Kara H.

Yelp
Alice has been a go-to spot to take friends and family from out of town. Drinks that light on fire, a cool ambiance, and a perhaps a clever performance from a magician are all reasons to check out this to go speakeasy.
google avatar

Josh N.

Yelp
Stopped in a Saturday evening around 8pm, the place was pretty full and quite vibrant. We were able to get a seat without a wait but a line quickly formed out the door after us. The drinks are all $13 which is reasonable yet a tad high. The staff was friendly and helpful. The menu's are pretty neat design and the décor is fun and clever. Overall a very nice place to chill and have a cocktail. Hope to be back in the future. I recommend any drink they light on fire for a little fun!

Yelp
Good atmosphere, love it! Customer service was great nice ended to a date nite definitely a vibe.
