Seattle Restaurants That Stepped Up for Their Communities in 2023 | Eater Seattle

"I was moved by Alida’s Bakery in Everett, which has consistently and beautifully advocated for a number of causes throughout the year, sharing the owners’ painful stories as Kurdish refugees and raising money for people doing hard, vital work on the ground in the Middle East and around the world." - Eater Staff

Climate Change Is Making Bakeries Even Hotter | Eater

"Run by Nechirvan Zebari in Everett, this small flatbread bakery produces items like pita, naan and za'atar manakish by placing dough on a 500-degree rotating disk inside an open-front oven. The work is intensely hot and physically demanding: a fan and plentiful water are used for relief but there is no air conditioning, and Zebari reports spending roughly eight hours a day in front of the oven. Heat has already forced temporary closure—the bakery shut down during the 2021 heat wave—and staff retention can be difficult because some hires simply cannot tolerate the conditions." - Deborah Reid

Google
Found this bakery after seeing a post on Instagram. The owner's post are meaningful and touching accounts of his family's journey to the US. I was so happy to learn he is located in Everett! We jumped in the car and headed north. I had my heart set on pita bread but the naan (so nice and fresh)was still warm. Will go back for pita this week. We tried the cookie butter, chocolate and the ube tiramisu croissants, all were so darn good! Love the cream filling! We also got labneh(yogurt), which was the best Ive ever had. It's so rich and creamy. I am a fan!

Everything from their croissants, manakish, to their baklava is truly made with care and attention as if it were made personally for you by your family, friend, or neighbor. They are incredibly warm and quick to answer any questions you have about their food. The croissants are buttery and flakey, and the fillings are generous yet balanced. You can see and taste every gorgeous laminated layer. There's always some new amazing flavor for you to try, because the owner loves to innovate! (I grabbed ube dough w/pistachio filling- so good!) We also took a knafeh home and popped it in the air fryer. It made our apartment smell sooo lovely and the taste is balanced with savory and sweet. I think the best food comes from family, friends, and neighbors. Every year on my birthday, my friend's grandmother would bake a huge tray of baklava just for me. I've been chasing that taste for many years, but I never found anything that came close. I can stop now tho, because the baklava at Alida's Bakery is that amazing! It's perfection- soaked in honey, delicate and rich, made with as much love as grandma's. I'm still thinking about that first bite and planning my next trip to Everett to order more. So anyway, consider supporting your neighbor, Alida's Bakery, for your next sweet (or savory) treat!

Google
Came here for the variety of amazing croissants (my fav is the biscoff & vanilla tiramusu) and in-house made Dubai Chocolate. Coming back again for the fresh bread, baklava and kind service. You really can't go wrong stopping here.

Google
Such good Pistachio Walnut Baklava! It’s the best I’ve had. So many other good treats there too 🙌🏼. Highly recommend trying it out.

BK Y.

Google
I have to say, this is the best baklava I’ve ever had—though I’ll admit, I’m no expert. Based on the few samples I’ve tried in the States, this one stands out as my favorite. It’s far from one-dimensional; there’s a beautiful balance of texture, layered flavor, and just the right touch of sweetness. The croissant, too, was impressive—crisp on the outside, chewy within, and perfectly complemented by the pistachio cream. Note on my rating scale: Sharing this for transparency, as I recognize that a 3-star review may be misinterpreted as reflecting a mediocre experience. 5 stars – Exceptional: Outstanding food, service, and/or overall experience. Truly worth going out of your way for. (For example, we frequently make the drive from San Antonio to Austin just for Uchi.) 4 stars – Very Good: Exceeds expectations in quality, service, or ambiance. 3 stars – Good: A solid experience that meets expectations. I consider any place with 3 stars or above worthy of a return visit. 2 stars – Disappointing: Falls short in food quality or service. 1 star – Poor: Not recommended.

Google
I got a lotus biscoff croissant, tiramisu croissant and baklava. The croissants are buttery, flaky and delightful. Strongly recommend trying the bakery. Nice customer service too.

Google
I discovered this place after following the baker’s inspirational Instagram content, and I’m so glad I made the trip! It’s a small, humble bakery in Everett — nothing pretentious, simple décor — so I walked in with zero expectations. But I was completely surprised by how many tempting items they had. I planned to grab one or two things and ended up leaving with four full boxes: croissants, künefe, lahmacun, basboosa, and more. Everything was fresh, beautifully made, and absolutely delicious. It’s a long drive for me, so I was hoping the haul would last the weekend. Definitely worth the trip.

Google
Wow. Best Baklava Ever. I originally came here just to try their croissants, which I saw on Instagram Reels — and they did not disappoint! Every croissant I tried was incredibly buttery and perfectly crisp with beautiful layers. But the highlight of my first visit was definitely the baklava. It was absolutely fantastic — the best I’ve ever had. I’ll be coming back just for that. Also, the person at the front who helped with packing and payment was very kind and friendly. Great experience overall!

Yelp
I was about to give up on finding good baklava until I tried this place. I've had baklava in Greece (from a famous bakery in Santorini), and Alidia actually beats it. This is hands down the best baklava I've ever had -- I'm addicted. The phyllo layers are perfectly crispy, lightly sweetened with honey, and beautifully fragrant with spices, with very generous pistachio filling. The Dubai chocolate is also amazing -- packed with pistachios and made with high-quality dark chocolate. The prices are on the higher side, but I'm more than happy to pay for this level of quality.

Yelp
I came across this bakery on Instagram, while I was looking for some good baklava. I have been watching their videos and wanted to try their croissants as well. This is more of a "come in, order, take out" type bakery, rather than a "sit down" type restaurant. The service was efficient and helpful. I have very little experience with middle Eastern cuisines, so I tried the meat manakish called Lahamacun. It was a flatbread with ground beef, tomatoes (chopped or cooked) with spices. It was ground or cooked so fine that it was like a flavorful meat pesto. It took a few minutes to prepare and I read a magazine about Kurdistan while I waited. The manakish came folded into quarters in a box to go. Delicious. The flavor profile was new to me, but really tasty. The spices were not the kind that burn with heat. I inhaled the manakish. I intended to share some with my husband. I did not. I regret nothing. Frankly, the food was divine. I sampled the chocolate croissant and it is easily the best chocolate croissant that I've had. It is a lighter filling than some of the heavier dark chocolate French pastries. Also, I learned more about Kurdistan and Iraq reading in the few minutes that I waited than in all of my years. If you have time to swing by Trader Joe's at the Everett Mall, this place is a block or two west on the opposite side of the street. It is tucked in a corner of a strip mall. It is definitely worth a stop.

Yelp
Best baklava. Aromatic, not too sweet. Service is nice. Have one or two tables and a few seats. But most people bought it Togo. So they are unoccupied most of the time. Recommended menu: baklava, Dubai chocolate.

Yelp
This place is an Everett GEM. All the pastries are incredibly delish, you can taste the high quality ingredients and passion the owner puts into his products. One of my favorite things from here is the pistachio cream they make from scratch for everything, it's to die for. I've had it in a croissant and in their Dubai chocolate bark which is also amazing. It's not too sweet, but the right amount! The fresher baked pita here is also amazing, we love to eat it with fresh Italian sausage or with hummus. Their za'tar bread is also great! I highly recommend stopping in to try this place, or making the journey just to try it!

Yelp
If you haven't been here you are missing out! This place is wonderful! The croissants are huge and perfect. The filling is such a good consistency, their savory food is really good too! The owner is super sweet and young and nice and he is open about sharing his culture online and it's a really cool place to be. The place is just big enough for take out, there's the big kitchen behind the order counter which is cool to see and so worth it!

Yelp
A little late to the game, but Alida's Bakery ( @alidasbakery ) came in clutch, with the world famous #DubaiChocolates !!! As far as I know, they're the only ones selling it, in my area! I had to drive to Everett, WA, but it was worth the drive, to taste those subtly sweet and nutty morsels! I even shared, with my close friend and he enjoyed them too! Their products are #halal , so it's a great gathering place, for many in the community! The kindest lady even bought me a packet of pitas, because I told her I had never been there before and she felt that I "needed to try the best, in town!" Don't forget to also purchase some of their crispy buttery #Croissants (different flavors, each week), #Manakish , #Naan , #PitaBreads , #Kanafeh and #Baklavas !!! Everything is made fresh daily and, they seem to sell out regularly - the regulars buy their breads handfuls at a time! It was crazy! Their hours are 10am - 6pm! Continue to support our local #smallbusinesses !!! #AlidasBakery #HalalKurdishfood #SouthEverettWA #communityfavorite #supportlocal #supportsmallbusinesses Instagram: @NelzLovesIt

Yelp
This place is so good. I have been following them on Instagram for years and just tried it. I wish I had tried them earlier. They have the best croissants I've ever had! We tried the strawberry and biscoff ones. They are amazing. The biscoff one is really good with coffee. I can't wait to try more. It all looked really good. There is a little table inside and a bench you can sit on. I wouldn't plan to eat in though since there really isn't much seating available. It's also pretty small inside, so we left after we got our food. The person that helped us was friendly. We ordered and got our food pretty quickly. They went through the line fast. The parking lot on a Sunday afternoon was very busy. When we got there, there was only 1 parking spot open. We will probably not come back on a weekend, but try a weekday instead.

Yelp
I've been wanting to go support this bakery for awhile now. I follow them on social media and love their content. The owner works his butt off trying new flavor combinations and perfecting his craft. How can you not support that? They are located in a busy little shopping center. When we got there in the early afternoon there were only a few parking spots open. The shop had people eating in, waiting to order and a busy kitchen. We were greeted warmly and they were patient with our ordering. It's a very basic looking shop but the treats are the stars. We tried the Nutella, pistachio, chocolate cream and plain croissants. I also grabbed some fresh pita and some honey baklava. So far, we've tried the pistachio and chocolate cream and YUM!! Flakey and perfectly flavored! They were perfect paired with coffee. I will definitely be back to try more flavors of croissants and pick up some other breads to try. They tossed in a freshly baked triangle pita and I devoured it before we got in the car. Omg it was fluffy and chewy and warm. Thank you Alida's! See you again soon.

Yelp
Having moved to Seattle recently from near the center of Arab America in Dearborn, Michigan, I was certainly not expecting to find a Kurdish bakery nearby. I decided to drop by, hoping to find some Iraqi-style khubz and samoon, which were the flatbreads I ate most in Michigan. I found that Alida's does bake samoon, but not khubz. Instead, they have a wide variety of other flatbreads, including pita, something that looks similar to sangak, Persian pebble bread, and naan, along with other baked treats. Unfortunately, all of the bread is packaged in plastic bags, with the heat causing condensation inside. I wish it were more like a traditional bakery where the bread is continuously pumped out and placed directly onto tables for the customers to choose from, but beggars can't be choosers. Large Naan ($4.50 for 4) - Thinner, slightly sweet with a good chew. Taste is nice, maybe a bit undeveloped and floury but nice. For some reason they dock the naan to prevent it from rising. (4/5) Samoon, White ($4 for 4) - Thick, pillowy with a very nicely developed chew, very bouncy. The pocket is well developed and easily separates out (I've had plenty of samoon in the past where I actually had to use a knife to widen the pocket). Very, very solid samoon. This place can compete against all of the Chaldean bakeries in Sterling Heights, MI and the Iraqi bakeries in Dearborn. (5/5) They also have knafeh, cooked to order, baklava, yogurt, gaymar, etc. Lots of stuff for me to try the next time I go! It's a bit of a trek for me to get up to Alida's Bakery, but I'm just happy there's somewhere around to get some high quality Middle-Eastern bread. Now if I could only find a place that has decent freshly made hummus...

Yelp
Delicious! Service was quick. We were in the area and wanted something sweet. We typed in bakeries Everett Mall Way into a Google search and this was the first thing that popped up. Of course I clicked on the website and checked the Yelp reviews. The croissants and baklava were highly appealing and the reviews were positive. The restaurant we had lunch at just so happened to be in the same parking lot as Alida's so we walked over after lunch. We arrived after noon and a lot of the pastries were gone but they still had some goodies left. I already knew I wanted Baklava so I got a container that included a cashew and pistachio kind. I couldn't wait to eat it, so as soon as I got outside I opened it up. Oh wow, it was phenomenal. I was full from lunch, had I not been, I would have purchased more. I'd like to go back to try the croissants, more baklava, and definitely the Klecha. Everything looks scrumptious and I love the variety of flat breads and breads marketed on their social media. Definitely check them out!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious and well priced :) There were a few men in there making everything fresh and they were so sweet to my son. I'll be sure to bring back my family and friends to try everything else, I came in right when they opened so I assumed they were still stocking up.
google avatar

Yelp
Fresh baked everything , the best baklava, croissants, outside of moms. Service was excellent , the guys were so sweet. Price was very reasonable! So good. A must stop in when in town.
google avatar

Krystle G.

Yelp
10/10 pistachio croissants, baklava and Knafa! Go early though because the baklava is sold out if you don't get there in time. Knafa is baked fresh after you place an order. They also have Dubai chocolate that they make in house-- it's mid, a little kinda lacking in the kataifi filling. I've made it at home before and prefer a thicker bar with less chocolate and the pistachio cream and kataifi texture being the "main event". Overall, good place to try yummy baked goods! I met Mo and he shared they wholesale their goods around the state of WA. Great way to support small businesses! I'm a big supporter local businesses
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious! The softest pita bread. It was amazing. I will be back. And the videos he posts are my favorite.
google avatar

Mae F.

Yelp
Thick & perfect dark crunchy chocolate blankets a well balanced sweetened cheesecake topped with pistachios! Your eyes feast on a treat that looks like Christmas & tastes like heaven! Don't walk, run and buy one, you'll need the exercise because you might grab a second one for the way home! As my husband & son said...****AMAZING Alida's you did it deliciously superior ! One of a kind!
google avatar

Nausheen D.

Yelp
Love this hidden gem! Their croissants are worth devouring. Their Lahmajoun and Zatar breads are very flavorful and their Kunafa and Baklavas can be an amazing dessert! We also always pick up Pita Pockets from there for our week lunches - really good quality and reasonably priced.
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
Love love this bakery! Great service and you can see their open kitchen freshly baking goods. The croissants were so fluffy. Dubai chocolate was divineeee. Will definitely be coming back!!

Yelp
I made Alida's Bakery my destination when I made my way from California, and I wasn't disappointed. Nech's croissants are to die for, as well as his baklava! He's very particular about his croissants and ensures every one of them are perfection. With the assorted xream fillings, it's a challenge to choose a favorite, but I would say the Biscoff and strawberry are my two favorites, but you'll have to decide for yourself. His story behind his bakery is humbling and inspiring. If ever there was a small business to support, this is the one.

Katie L.

Yelp
Friendly staff, prompt service, fresh bakery items made daily. The food was delicious. Baklava was one of our favorites, along with the pumpkin croissant!! Inside the bakery was quick and easy to order food! Would definitely go back.

Yelp
This bakery is soooo amazing!!!! The owner has put so much love into the baked goods he makes you can taste the time, effort, and love that goes into his baking!!! I highly recommend this spot! Tucked away off Everett mall way! He shows his love for his bakery on TikTok make sure you check it out and follow him!!!

Yelp
Alida's Bakery is Everett's hidden gem. They have some of the best baked goods Everett has to offer. From the fresh baked pita, to their amazing sweets, such as the pistachio croissant and chocolate covered cheesecake, they are a place you don't want to miss. Though their location is not front and center, they truly deserve to be. Not only is the food great, they are incredibly helpful and nice. When asking which bread to choose for making lamb arayas, they immediately pointed me to the perfect pita. These guys rock. Treat yourself and give them a try plus a follow on their instagram @alidasbakery

Yelp
Get the croissant their unassuming and delicious u won't be disappointed.the baklava will leave u speechless nuff said.

Sami T.

Yelp
When you walk into the store right when they open up, like we did, the whole area is cool and smells like freshly baked bread. For those from Middle Eastern countries, it certainly reminds of the street bread that's at home; heavenly. We ordered their viral Pistachio and Biscoff flavored croissants, and let me tell you they were delicious! Filling was light but truly flavorful, without feeling chemical. Only comment on the croissants would be that the dough tasted a bit yeasty, otherwise it was superb. Service was fast, with them automatically skipping the tip screen (so make sure to have cash handy!). Definitely coming back here and will be sure to visit for their Ramadan specials next year!
google avatar

Yelp
Hours need to be updated!! I drove all the way from Auburn and made it prior to posted closing time, but the bakery is already closed and there's no sign. That was a very long drive and I checked everywhere on the website, on Instagram ,and on Google and everywhere it said that the bakery is closing at six. But 5:42pm it was already closed.
google avatar

Rosette T.

Yelp
So glad to have Alida's Bakery close to me! Not only is everyone so kind and helpful but their pita, naan, and manakish are top tier! I've been the lucky the last few times to come in and their pita is just getting finished. The cost for a bag of pita is $3.50 for 5 pieces which I think is a great deal given the quality of the bread.
google avatar

Yelp
My new addiction! Delicious soft fresh homemade love in every bite. I don't know how else to describe it. Not from a box super fluffy delicious melt in your mouth croissant amazingness. Tried the pistachio, the berry the baklava and of course the bread I always take a bunch home cause I'm not that close but worth the trip every time

Yelp
Best bakery in town. Thank you we love your IG videos as well. Keep up the good work, we'll be back for sure

Yelp
We went into Alida's bakery Saturday. I'm in a powered wheelchair and the parking and entrance were easy to navigate. It was our first time there and we were immediately met with smiles and welcome in from the two men working the counter. I had read the article in Live in Everett and wanted to try the pistachio croissant. There were so many treats to try. The baklava is absolutely divine, not overly syrupy. The croissant was buttery and flaky and the pistachio filling was not overly sweet with a creamy almost flavored whipped cream flavor. The REAL star was the pita's!! Its been nearly impossible to find a good pita. The one's they sell in the commercial grocery store are thin like cardboard and tear easily. Alidas are soft pliable and hold up perfectly. I made chicken salad and it was sooo good. We had the pleasure of meeting Nich the owner before we left, he was so genuine and kind. I can't recommend this place enough. It's been added to our weekly grocery trip!
google avatar

Priya M.

Yelp
We got lahmacun, cheese bread, filled croissants and Dubai chocolate. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The croissants tasted just like the ones we had in France, they were perfect! The service was fast and pleasant, there was this fresh warm flat bread steaming in bags that looked delicious, will definitely be going back to pick some up . This place is tucked away in the corner of the little strip mall and looks unassuming but it's a hidden gem and it's worth a visit.
google avatar

Alyssa P.

Yelp
Their baklava was so juicy and delicious! We also got the Dubai chocolate was so fresh and good
google avatar

Alyshia N.

Yelp
Well, don't let the shops appearance influence your decision on picking up some treats from Alidas. We got the biscoff croissant and dubai chocolate. Both items are PHENOMENAL. I'm disappointed I wasn't aware this place even existed for the past few years I've been here! The dubai was a must try after seeing it so much on my fyp but the star was that croissant! My bf and I were fighting for the last bite of it lol. Must say, definitely dangerous living so close to Alidas but can't wait to try more items!
google avatar

Unknown U.

Yelp
Owner takes great pride in his bakery and you can tell by the products he serves. Everything taste fresh, homemade, and amazing. The quality and variety of options are amazing! Must try if you are in the area!

A. S.

Yelp
Delicious food and even kinder people behind it! You can truly taste the heart and care that goes into every dish. We sampled just about everything--my favorite was the baklava, hands down. The lahmajun was fantastic, and my kids devoured the cheese version. So happy to support a place like this!

Leapin' L.

Yelp
The bakery is tucked away in a strip mall and pretty industrial feeling inside. It isn't a stop and stay place, but meant to be taken away. We got almond baklava, large naan bread, and Dubai chocolates. Everything was so delicious. I would highly recommend all of those items. I can't wait to go back to try some of the other items. It does seem that they sell out so probably best to go early for the best selection.
google avatar

Maryam G.

Yelp
Alida's Bakery is one in a million. Hardly anywhere in the greater Seattle area makes lahmajun/lamacun/lahembajeen as good. They are huge! Made with a thin and crispy-edged dough and covered in a beautifully spiced beef mixture. We drive up to Everett just for these beauties! They also have other flatbreads and all kinds of tasty Kurdish cookies and desserts (that will also be familiar to Arabs), but they are perhaps best known for their fluffy, freshly baked bread. You can find their bread in a few shops around the area, such as Byblos market, but I believe you have to go to their bakery to get the flatbreads. The bakery itself is takeout only, and the service is friendly, professional, and efficient. I would say not to miss it if you're in the area, but I think it's worth the drive even if you're not!
google avatar

Sierra J.

Yelp
The food is wonderful! We loved the croissants, probably the best baklava I've ever had and the bread is just so well made! Definitely give it a try!!

Pam A.

Yelp
Wow, what a nice place. The croissants were amazing, the filling was just the right sweetness, the baklava was excellent and the pitas fresh and we have been using them all week. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner who was very kind and gave us a sample of fresh warm pita. I will return.

Mory A.

Yelp
Wonderful, delicious, fresh, tasty products. It is very affordable, cozy, great service, friendly and respectful to customers, Thanks

Yelp
Great bakery, everything is delish. Staff is super friendly! Dubai chocolate a must try.

Yelp
Disappointed during my first visit on Monday, June 16, at 12:30, I found they had hardly any items. No white pita bread. No deli items. They said it was a slow day and that they were not baking much. Go figure. They told me to come back on Thursday when they would have more.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing desserts, especially baklava. Must try their fresh breads too, so soft. People are nice as well.

Yelp
Alida's Bakery is located in a popular strip mall which I frequent to visit other businesses while in Everett. It had caught my attention earlier, but had stopped by on Wednesdays or Thursdays when the bakery is closed. After placing a takeout order at an adjacent spot, I lucked out and Alida's Bakery was open (1/14/22). I was excited to finally check it out after it had been recently featured in The Seattle Times and KING5 Evening. It is located at a non-descript corner of the strip mall, but clearly those in the know are here and I joined the line. There's plentiful fresh pita and flatbread on the metro shelf to the right. I overheard from the front counter being told to another customer that these are freshly baked, no preservatives, and freezes well - definitely notable pro tip! I was anticipating getting to the front counter and to see what what featured in the pastry cases. I was so giddy that I even forgot to snap a photo of the menu board. I wished that the items had signage, but thankfully the folks behind the counter were willing to field inquiries and had their system down pat to ring up and bag purchases. I hate being that person who holds up the line not knowing quite what to purchase with my first time visit. No worries there as my queries were answered with such enthusiasm and welcoming smiles. I ended up just getting three items: *Happy Honey Baklava box with four pieces each of pistachio walnut and cashew caramel baklava ($12) *two pieces of Za'atar pita, Mana'quish ($2 each) *a half pound bag of Klecha ($7) There is also something to be said visiting a spot without any preconceived notions. All I knew is that it was a bakery I had never visited and had some recent media exposure. Because once I got home and started sampling the goods, I was absolutely blown away. My Yelp tag line mentions in search of dazzling flavors and does Alida's Bakery deliver. I was also concurrently receiving DMs from another Yelper currently in Paris and the flavors were so amazing that I had to simply just focus on the moment. I actually DMed back that if I suddenly die, eating these bites made my life complete. Might as well cue the aria. Even my college age son agreed wholeheartedly when he ate the same items later in the day. I thought my favorite baklava was at a frequented North Seattle cafe. Have to say this baklava box with two flavors is tops hands down. Nice and crisp and not cloyingly sweet. Perfect flavor and texture. It got all gobbled up the same day! The Za'atar pita was so fresh, fragrant, and delicious! Za'atar is a spice mix that can be a variant of the following: oregano, majoram, thyme, cumin, coriander, sesame seeds, salt, and sumac. I wonder what the signature mix Alida's Bakery uses, all I know is that it an amazing combo of tangy, herbal, nutty, and toasty. Delicious solo, but I can see this an accompaniment to grilled meats. The Klecha was also terrific purchase - delicious date nut and cardamon pastry bites. Perfect sized amount for gift giving or to bring to a gathering. All I needed was some strong coffee or fragrant tea. I definitely exercised restraint not wanting one of each item upon my first visit. Based on their website, they also have their products at other indie shops. I'll have to recommend my nearby Mediterranean shop in Shoreline to be one of their destinations too. But there is an advantage to shop directly onsite for supreme freshness. I definitely will have to return and start exploring the pastry case - there are so many cakes, puddings, other flavored breads, and items in containers to check out. The website is also worth exploring, I enjoyed reading about what brought the bakeshop into existence. I encourage others to check it out, it evokes family warmth, the desire to share their Iraqi Kurdistan heritage, and true local, indie spirit. Major Yelp Elite seal of approval! Support family run, local, and indie. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Honey baklava - fantastic! Bought a couple other things we've yet to try - but the baklava worth the trip by itself.

Yelp
Decided to check this bakery out after dinner at the pho spot next door; and I'm so glad I did. Picked up Dubai chocolate, pistachio croissant, and a couple slices of baklava. Everything was delicious and just perfectly sweetened. Honestly, probably the best baklava I've ever had. I'm so glad it's close to home! Definitely coming back for more and trying their other offerings as well.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this bakery for so long. I finally got to stop in and what a delightful experience. I wanted to get some of the manakish (a flatbread with toppings) to take home for lunch with the hubby. I told them I had been wanting to come in for a long time and I was excited to finally try the manakish. They were only $3-8 each - depending on the topping. So I presumed at that price they would be quite small. So I ordered one with pepperoni and cheese, tomato, zatar, and jalapeno and cheese. I was told they make them to order. So I waited about 5 minutes. When the gentleman came out he actually made me one of EVERY flavor. And they are bigger that I thought they would be. So he also gave me beef and a cheese - on the house. And then he gave me a free bag of pita! He wanted me to try them all. Now that is a wonderful way to treat a new customer. Needless to say - we had leftovers. My favorites - pepperoni and cheese, beef, tomato. Hubby's favorite - jalapeno and cheese. I froze the pita bread to enjoy another time. We will be back!

Yelp
My mom told me about this bakery because she picks up pita bread from here. When I went to get some pita, it was super fresh and warm! You can taste the freshness and very tasty. I got some baklava as well and it was also very delicious. I hope to try more things here next time. This place is family owned and the service was spectacular. They make you feel as if you are part of their home. Wonderful place to check out!
