This place is an indie bookstore that will make an average person question their reading comprehension abilities. It has books and zines I’d never imagine be written about topics I’ve never considered may have a book about it. It’s pretty cool. Would recommend, vibes immaculate. You’ll find books here that you’ll probably find no where else in the entire state of Texas. It seems to be a safe space for the weirdos, freaks and geeks of society. A place where those who don’t conform to societal norms can find a book about their niche way of non-conforming. They host cool events too.

This is an amazing, independent book store where the punk vibe and literary taste intersect. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It has one of the best Spanish collections I have come across.

Great independent bookstore focusing on lesser sold titles. It has fun displays and events, nice art to compliment the attractive book covers, and several cozy places to sit. Fortunately for UT students this place is in walking distance of the campus. It also has several restaurants and bars nearby. It shares a small parking lot with a couple other businesses.

Cool indie bookstore. Employee there gave great book reccs to everyone who walked in, music was super cool and different. definitely a cool place to shop if you’re tired of your local Barnes and noble.

The man working was awesome, I had purchased a book previously from him. Not a factor of this review. Not sure if the other worker was having a bad day but I did not appreciate the condescending way I was spoken to. I was going to come back to repurchase a book but I will go to another independent book store. My book was lost to a house fire and was wondering if there was any way to receive a discount, but had extremely low expectations and was totally fine with re-purchasing at a later time. The worker said that if I wanted free books I should go to a public library. I was not rude or demanding when I asked this, and the store was basically empty. Probably won’t be returning

C. is the certainly the single most helpful bookseller I've encountered in probably 15 years. He went out of his way to help me over the phone with a stack of Broodcomb Press books (on a weekend!), and they were in the EXACT condition that he said they were when I got them. This. shop. ROCKS, and is the perfect antidote to the soulless megacorp stores. SAVE THE BOOK! Thanks again, C - I'll be back!

Best bookstore in Austin, with the best and kindest booksellers. Their selection is amazing, with a wonderfully curated focus on independent publishers and literature in translation. They also do a great job building literary community with cool events and readings. I’m thankful bookstores like this still exist! I’m overjoyed by their commitment to sharing literature from around the world and from a diverse range of perspectives. There’s no safer place to be in times like this!

They have a variety of books both fiction and non-fiction. I did notice there are alot of books from other countries that have been translated to English, and that's really cool because not alot of bookstores do that.

Yelp
Coolest bookstore in town. Love this place and they host live music in the evenings sometimes. This is just the kind of place we need in that special old part of town... the parking lot brought back good memories of the old Vulcan Video, Oat Willie's, Conan's pizza.... It was a fun adventure and you'll definitely find some very interesting books.
