Overall, great stay! Got upgraded to the Alila ocean view suite and we faced the bar and it was amazing to see and hear the oceans during the day and night. Staff was very kind and helped me with dropping off and picking up laundry. We were in L02 and you can hear the beach club next door. Beware if you are a light sleeper! Luckily, we brought a noise machine and we had some really early tours so we were exhausted by 9-10pm but the club doesn’t close till midnight or 2am depending on the day of the week. We really liked the family pool since it felt a bit more private and had better views of the ocean compared to the main pool. They provided us a breakfast box for a 3.30am tour we had, which was very kind! Very secure hotel and beautifully kept clean. Rooms were spacious! Just make sure to ask for a room away from potato head beach club if you are a light sleeper.

This hotel is outstanding services and super professional, friendly hospitality. I will definitely come back here with my family again. All staff members are really smiling to me, great attitude to escort all customers. I was super happy, satisfied to stay there! Especially the woman staff was standing outside to say goodbye to me for palms together 🙏 Thank you guys for your great service and making my staying awesome ☺️

Enthusiastic repeat customer |It's one thing to leave a 5 Star review it's another thing to come back and be a repeat customer. The Alila Seminyak was awesome when I visited the 1st time and it was just as amazing this time as well. The location, the property, the rooms, the staff....... everything makes this the ultimate Bali vacation spot. Last time I stayed here seven nights this time I was here for nine nights. Incredible customer service story...... my travel buddy had a small injury and when the hotel staff saw it they asked if she needed a doctor. She said no and they asked how about a first aid kit and she said yes please. We headed to the room and a staff person was already at our door before we even got there with the first aid kit. How is that even possible? I've been to so many parts of Bali and this is the best spot to come and stay then venture out to explore. Absolutely I will be back.

I am often critical of 5 star resorts that charge a lot but don't deliver. This place, Alila, delivers excellence in every sphere. Led by GM Christiane and Executive chef Mandy, the service, food, rooms and positioning could not be better. I don't think I've stayed at a better resort ever. If you have the chance, come to Alila. You will love it..

Just returned from this wonderful hotel.|Such a lovely resort.|My room was clean and comfortable. There was noise from the beach club next door, however I kind of liked it, whilst sitting on the balcony and inside the room I could not hear it. It did not impact on my stay.|I ate in the restaurant and took breakfast. The breakfast is out of this world and so much choice, I wanted to stay longer just to sample everything!|The staff are lovely and courteous.|I loved my stay here and miss my beach walks!

Absolutely terrible experience – would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Our stay was beyond disappointing, and I am demanding at least a 50% refund for the following reasons: 1. Horrible hygiene standards – we found dirty towels with lipstick stains on them, clearly used by someone else. I never used them, yet they were left in the room. 2. There were worms/insects in the bathroom and shower area. Completely unacceptable and disgusting. 3. My sister was injured due to broken tiles in the swimming pool area. She had to undergo surgery and get stitches in her foot – this was 100% the hotel’s fault due to negligence. 4. The balcony was full of insects, making it unusable. 5. Non-stop construction noise every single night. We were not informed about this in advance, and when we complained, the hotel staff denied it—even though we could clearly see and hear the construction right in front of us! This was a health hazard, an unsafe environment, and a complete lack of professionalism from hotel management. I strongly advise others to stay away from this property.

We had an amazing stay at Alila Seminyak. The hotel is stunning — beautifully designed with breathtaking ocean views. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast spread was lovely, with something for every taste. What truly sets this place apart is the service. Every single member of staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Special thanks to Cakar at the pool, who took great care of us, and to Wendi at the spa, who gave me a super massage. The spa itself is serene and high quality — well worth a visit. A note for beach lovers: the ocean here is too rough for swimming, but the hotel’s pools more than make up for it — they’re beautiful and relaxing, with stunning views and great service. The location is also excellent — right in Seminyak, close to great restaurants and shops, yet peaceful and private. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back.

Without doubt one of the best experiences my wife and I had staying in a hotel in any country. Could not speak highly enough of the staff - Amazing recollection of our names by all staff. Management could not do enough for us. Food and service was exceptional to the point when one of us was unwell due to a pre-existing health issue they went out of their way to assist with anything. Congratulations to management and staff for a memorable visit. Definitely will recommend and return.
