Very nice aperitivos! The artichokes served with slices of fish in olive oil was so good! Very good platter options, all very delicious. I think you can choose anything and it won’t disappoint. The toasties are quite big, they have good selection including meat and fish. We had artichoke as entry, then came the platter and then we decided to order toasties too. Very happy with our selection. The ambiance is nice as well, every one seemed to be enjoying their time.

A place with a good atmosphere, calm and cozy. We found the food to be very good, traditional Spanish cuisine. The menu is interesting and offers a good variety, as do the wines. The service, however, was not great; we had a surly waitress, and the service was very slow. Nevertheless, the food made up for it.

My kind of place. Tithe uninitiated, they might even call it a Bodega. Tasty treats. Good wine ( mostly) - some house wine not drinkable. Great great atmosphere. Loud and cozy and odd!

Great local spot for wine tasting and some tapas, I recommend the jamòn iberico y pan con tomate — toast with fresh tomato and sliced iberico ham

We used to frequent this place and absolutely loved it. It had been over a year and a half since our last visit, and taking advantage of having some guests, we decided to go for an evening snack/dinner, as we hadn't been in so long. The place is still fantastic – an old grocery store combined with a deli, cleverly adapted with tables and waiters who, despite how crowded it gets, always try to provide great service. My disappointment yesterday was that I found the place quite dirty. It's possibly an isolated incident, but it wasn't as it usually is. Now, I don't want to give a bad review for something that might be a one-off, but cleanliness should definitely be a priority in any food establishment. I hope you continue to be that typical, traditional, bustling bar – the kind that gets packed at night. You deserve it because you do so many things well, but please, don't neglect essential aspects. As a tip for all clients, their cheeses are especially good, and the variety is exceptionally large. As for the wines, I haven't had a single bad label there, and their homemade vermouth might just be the best in Madrid.

Super cool place for a dinner/aperitivo in Madrid city center. Try the Quiroga’s appetisers selection from the menu and you won’t be disappointed;)

This is one of the most amazing dining experiences that we had in Madrid. Amazing food, great hospitality and superb vibe in this traditional restaurant. Our best pick is the anchovies in chopped tomatoes and olive oil, u shouldn’t not miss it at all. The baby squid in its ink with rice looks not as appealing but the taste is 10/10. Highly recommend this restaurant to any foodies in the world.

Absolute recommendation for tapas and wine. Their selection of hams and cheese is great and they offer a variety of mixed platters. So everyone will find what they are looking for. Service is friendly and if you aren't full or can't stop after your meal they also sell the wine in cheese to take home.

Lovely wine bar where we stopped for a glass of wine and to rest for a few minutes. Although we arrived not hungry at all, only a few minutes passed before we were tempted to order a cheese plate. We ordered the Euro cheese plate for 20 euros and it was a huge portion and so good. Also loved the olives served with our glasses of wine.

Heriberto is te funnest most awesome server one could ask for and he made our night!! Superb traditional Madrid spot I would highly recommend !

Great place and even greater service. We got here randomly walking late on the Friday night, when it was very busy and crowded and still got top notch service. We were recommended combination of the meat plate and combinations of cheese plate . For the 2 of us it was plenty and we couldn't even finish it. Server was knowledgeable about the wine , which was refreshing. We are wine lovers but didn't expect to be picky at this place , however-she asked all the " right " questions when taking our orders. Atmosphere is casual, non -pretentious and lively. Good gem for ham , cheese and wine lovers.

Our wine was absolutely spot on and the servers were helpful. We had Rioja and Voche vinos and ordered a plate of cheese with crackers.

What a find! Popped in while making the bar rounds and so happy that we found this place. Excellent service, top notch wine, tasty olives, lots of cheese, and tapas for days. I love Madrid!

Alimentacion Quiroga is a gem, from the quality of housemade meats, to the highly palatable €4 glasses of wine, to the service with a smile. I was there with several chefs and other friends, and we all concurred that the charcuterie and quesos were just excellent, particularly the cecina de buey (thinly sliced smoked bull), de caña de lomo Iberico, and the warm truffles queso. I'd highly recommend Alimentacion Quiroga for a lovely evening and may go back tonight.

We've just arrived today. This cheese and wine bar is in a great neighborhood. The service was fantastic as was the wine and cheese and the music was "good" mellow 80's style. We managed to stay up until nine pm and this spot was packed and getting busier as we left.

Great find near Plaza Santa Ana. Not touristy, but the kind of place locals might stop in after work for ham and cheeses to take home. Tapas are fresh and great. I just ate a whole dish of (free) olives and I never eat olives- very lightly cured and marinated so that the pucker factor was nonexistent. Lots of wines by the glass. Everything is reasonable to medium- priced especially for the quality. This isn't a tourist tapas bar with the food sitting around for days. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the local who just stopped by to buy a jamón bone to take home for ? Soup? Pop in, if only to buy some salt from Ibiza to take home.

Cute little wine / charcuterie / goody store by day....tapas/ wine bar by night. That's the best t describe this little gem my S.O. and I found walking in the neighborhood. We enjoyed several glasses of good wine and jamon!
