Beautiful little house converted into a restaurant that has not only nice ambiance but also great food. The moment you enter, you'll notice a great smell of food, making you feel even hungrier. The staff is quite friendly and quick to serve. Great variety in food. I had a miso soup and Beef & Vegies stir fry(spicy). Both were great, but I'll not recommend anything spicy because it made me sweat a lot. Prices are fair. It's definitely a place to bring your date, or even small groups.

EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE. Just wanted to get that off my chest before anything else. To be frank, the food was delicious. The gamjatang, bulgogi and kimchi jjigae were all really good! The waitresses were quick to provide service and refilled our kimchi at every request (free refills for this by the way). But, for a Sunday evening when the store wasn't even at it's full capacity, the wait time was simply atrocious to put it lightly. My family and I entered the restaurant and was sat at our table at around 7pm and we didn't get our food till about 7:50 - 8pm. And did I say the joint wasn't even filled!?!? We already invested enough time waiting for our food so we waited it out, but I must say... never again! The food was great but not worth the agonizing long wait. My suggestion? Use your time more wisely, skip this place and head to the many other korean restaurants around the area.

- FOOD: The beoseot bulgogi was great and reasonably priced. Very filling. - SERVICE: Took a decent amount of time to be seated. One of the servers spilled sauce over the table/me/the floor and didn’t notice, which was frustrating. Service aside, big fan of the food at Alirang (my second time here).

Great place to eat out with friends and awesome selection of food! we got seated right away but the food took awhile to get to our table but definitely worth the wait! The tteokbokki was awesome and the spiciness was perfect. We got some shrimp tempura and dipped it in the sauce. The soups all came with rice and sides to share. Plentiful amounts and very nice staff too! Highly recommend!

This was my first time trying Korean food and I am so glad I dined here. The food was fantastic. So delicious. Especially the Chicken Bokum- that’s a must. It’s spicy and hot. The vibe is great and the staff very sweet. :)

Delicious Korean food! Service was quick and food was delicious. I highly recommend getting the croquette and the seafood pancake as starters (they were also delicious the next day). The japchae noodles with vegetables was a nice light meal to balance out the heavy rice and meat. Would recommend!

We ordered the tteokbokki, the short rib galbi and the spicy pork bokum. The dishes were generously portioned and all were so delicious I couldn't choose a favourite. The meat arrived in a sizzling platter with a side of perfectly cooked rice. The tteokbokki were super saucy and the perfect texture. We enjoyed every bite. We did wait quite some time to be seated and for our food to arrive but we didn't mind because it gave us time to chat and work up an appetite. It was saturday night at peak dinner time after all and the restaurant is quite small. We also ordered the barley tea to drink with our meal as well. It was toasty, nutty and warming.

Best Korean food in town! Gamjamtang is always my number one fav. Tofu soup is perfect too when you are not so hungry. Service is always great! They are just friendly and responsive. Sometimes you have to wait a bit though, depending on the time you got there. But let me tell ya, it’s worth the wait!
