Ali's Pizza & Burgers

This place has the best fried chicken sandwich in all of Metro-Detroit (Chicken 65 sandwich). It's crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and, packed with flavor. It's unique and can't be found anywhere else. It's absolutely stunning and everyone should experience it. There is exactly one issue with this place: the hours are inconsistent for lunch. I've gone there at the posted times of noon for opening only for it to be closed and waited forever to have it be in vain. So now I just call in advance to make sure they're open for lunch. I hope this place never changes physically but I do want them to sell a lot of sandwiches and be successful. That sandwich is addictive.

Really bad quality food I saw a picture of the chicken Sharma pizza and ordered but when I see it in the real life it’s totally different cuz they just put the fake pic for the people and aslo the price is way to high comparing to any other store and it’s not worth it for the price😤

I’ll go ahead and give them 3 out of 5 stars only because the food was edible. Don’t get me wrong they make really good food but one thing they do that really butters my biscuits is the portions. Why am I paying you extra for a combo only to receive 13 pieces of fries (yes I indeed did count them) with a very smelly beef patty. Can’t lie whoever the old owner was he shouldn’t have left 🫡

I was regular customer of Ali’s pizza. But after last few times we are not going anymore. The quality and taste of food drastically changed. Even though I moved from the city, I went few times to get food from there because I couldn’t believe the change. I was specially disappointed last two times, almost felt like throwing up after eating.

They are the nicest people and their burgers and pizzas are the best in town! I wished we lived closer! And they are zabiha certified halal!

First time I got the tandoori deep dish, it was fire. Literally we all loved it. So naturally, I order again. Second time I got the beef shawarma pizza. I hate, absolutely hate mayonnaise. No need to worry usually, most Arabic places that list shawarma sauce, is toum, garlic, lemon, oil, salt. Every shawarma I've ever had uses toum. Now, non traditional places serving Mediterranean dishes will make some kind of garlic aioli in place of toum, trash. Or they'll stretch actual toum with mayo. Never ever had to worry about this in Hamtramck, didn't even think of it. I get my pizza, all I taste in the garlic? Mayonnaise. I had to cover it up with hot sauce to make it edible which made it a completely different pie than I ordered. This pizza would've slapped!, with actual toum. This was a mayonnaise sauce pizza it was awful for my taste.

i love the chicken tenders with signature sauce on and if you are a spicy lover you should definitely get the nashville chicken sandwich. They got best one so far.

I've been here a few times and the pizza is always fresh and delicious Expect to wait 30 mins or so because unlike some pizza joints everything is made fresh I also like that they use halal meats The service is always very friendly and I recommend this pizza place

The pepperoni pizza is pretty good , me and my brothers get it now and then, but I do have to say that it is pricey, a large pizza was $12 (with pepperoni) and it was smaller than I thought it would be ... and the service was just ok.

Service was BAD, the food was Ok. I just wish I never went inside cuse the place was dirty, and it ruined my appetite. If they cleaned the place up and offered better service I'd go there again. THE MENU PRICES ARE WRONG, DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TOTAL OR YOU WILL BE PAYING MORE WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Beef Shawarma and Nashville burgers are great. Definitely recommend try these. Chicken 65 Burger is also nice recommend trying this.

This establishment have changed in many ways and not in any good way. This is not the first time this happened. I place an order (via DoorDash) and they ALWAYS (this is the 3rd time) change the order to something else or modify the order for a surcharge. Most recently I ordered a pizza and a burger. They switched it to a burger and charged me MORE! I'm sure they could have substituted for another pizza or give a courtesy call. They lack the integrity in the business and I had enough! I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I was lucky to have an employee that I have had the pleasure of working with for 18 + years bring me some of this family owned restaurant amazing food. The Shawarma pizza is amazing. I have never had a better pizza! My husband said the wings were delicious. I would highly recommend the restaurant.

I finally decided to stop by Ali's after hearing good things for awhile. I wasn't feeling pizza, though their menu looked interesting. Went with the chicken 65 sandwich, and some chicken shawarma fries. The fries were very rich and delicious, and the portion was great for the price. The sandwich was fantastic. The bun was soft and fluffy, while still keeping it together. The chicken had the perfect amount of heat, and was tender and juicy. The service was great as well. They were friendly and professional. Ill definitely be coming back for these items, and likely try others on their menu.

So another pizza place in Hamtramck, excited? You should be. The place looks very simple from outside. Nothing fancy or extravagant but the pizza is yummy. The gentleman in the counter (naheed) is an amazing dude. Very easy to talk to and he recommends according to your liking. I got the deep dish chicken bar-b-q and i dont remember the other one but man o man. Everything was fresh the crust was thick and soft and the toppings very good in quantity. My only reservation is the oil. I am not sure if it was done by mistake or thats how he cooks but it had more oil than usual. Other than that everything rocked. Good job guys

Gave Ali's Pizza a try over the weekend. There are so many options here that you cant go wrong with. I really enjoyed the beef shawarma fries, signature and chicken 65 wings. Oh and the mixed shawarma rice platter was really good too. Overall food was good but I did have to wait almost an hour for my food. I had called in my order ahead and was told it will be about 30 minutes. When I got there I was told it will be another 20 minutes or so. Besides having to wait so long, it was a good experience. I will probably keep this in mind next time I order from here.

100% halal certified local pizza shop with lots of interesting/original flavors. They also hire local kids from the neighborhood. We recently ordered their chicken 65 pizza and tHeir naga pizza and we loved them both. Their food is extremely fresh and flavorful. They offer a blend of American/Italian flavors with an East Asian twist. Prices are reasonable, I just wished they had more of a sit doors area (we live a bit far, so we take out). Go in and try things with an open mind!

My co worker told me to check out this place. And I wanna say is that the shawarma fries is the best thing on the menu! Their sandwich is good too! I had a spicy sandwich it was different, goood but the lettuce was kinda brownish but it was still delicious. Definitely love! But the shawarma fries so delicious. You have to try it!

Loved the bbq wings. Great flavor and medium sized wing dings. Not whole wings do you may want to order more.

Amazing food!!! Try their beef shawarma fries and chicken 65 burger. It is also clean and they provide great customer service. The best part is everything is 100% halal. I highly recommend!

This was my first time ordering pizza from here. I ordered the deluxe, it was flavorless and reminded me of frozen pizza. I also ordered one with Pepperoni & Bacon, It was good & so was the garlic cheese bread.

The reason this place is not getting 5 stars is really just because of the lack of customer service. Don't get me wrong they are very nice and kind but it's the little things. Like giving napkins with the order for takeout or spoons for dine in. The food however is amazing. The burgers are spectacular, there are so many to choose from and I'd say almost all are my personal favorite. Pizzas are also amazing my favorite being the chicken 65. It just pops with flavor on the first bite. I would recommend any of their burgers or the chicken 65 pizza to anyone that asks me. Also another plus is that this place is certified halal. Unlike the other stores that claim they are, these guys have proof and get inspected every week or so.

Poor management, the other day I went there and there was a guy at the register, I was looking for the manu, he could say "hello how can I help you" instead of asking me that he went back at the kitchen and never showed up in like 7 mins than I came out, never go back. They should teach the cashier how to talk to the customers.

We tried this new Ali pizza recently Especially because they are approved by halal advocates. The cheese burger was amazing, and loved the chicken tikka pizza! Everyone in our family loved it. Thank you for the good food!

My friends and I probably frequent this place once a week at a minimum. This place is known for its Shawarma fries (which if you are unfamiliar of are chopped chicken, lamb, beef, fries, hummus, sauce, and other ingredients depending on where you dine at.) The fries are large in quantity and you probably could share it with another depending on how hungry you are. Another signature item I would recommend is the Chicken 65 burger. This burger holds its own against the Popeyes sandwich and Chic - fil a sandwich. They also have a wide variety of pizza and other products on their menu. This is one of those hole in the wall places that a lot of people are unaware of, if you have never been I know you will get hooked after your first visit. The parking lot is attached to the location and I would suggest you order at least 20-25 minutes in advance to avoid any delays in pick up. Low quality pizza , don't try barbq chicken pizza ...horrible ... Go get at Amar pizza

I don't know why people are getting so worked up about their cheap pizzas because I've tasted better pizzas in other restaurants. Like the chicken Alfredo pizza it feels like they use the cheapest cheese it's nowhere near alfredo. Also the pizza is soo tiny for $10 like honestly? Their burger patties taste so nasty I feel like they don't fully cook it. Sometimes they can't even tell what on their own menu.
