I didn't have the best experience here recently. The samsa/samosa was chewy and the bread was a bit too thick, but still better than the ones at Jahunger. The dried beef noodles on the other hand were not the best I've had when I ordered takeout. They didn't taste fresh and they stuck together quite a bit, which made me feel like they were cooked earlier in the day. I've had Ali's separately during an event that catered from their restaurant and found the food to be much better. I don't want to be too harsh given the mix of experiences, but I'd be willing to give them another shot.

Today we visited this restaurant and I really regret that I didn’t find this place earlier. It's so delicious that I can't even describe it. The portions are so huge that we even took some with us. and the best part is that it is halal. my family were happy, thank you! UPDATE Unfortunately, I have to change my review. After the last time, when we really liked it, we came this time to eat their delicious lagman. The portions have been halved, the taste was completely different , everything is served in plastic dishes, last time it was large ceramic bowls, and there was so much food that I even had to ask to take it with me. The pilaf we ordered was fatty, no salt, just greasy rice with microscopic pieces of meat. but they returned the money for the pilaf, almost arrogantly. It’s a pity to write such a review about a halal place, but it is what it is.

Wow! This unassuming stall in the 88 Food Connection is home to some really excellent food. We thoroughly enjoy the lamb pilaf and beef noodle soup. The chefs are also very nice folks and we're happy to support this place. Recommended for locals and people passing through!

Very unique flavors. The spicy beef noodle actually has a little heat to it. The fried dumplings are full of flavor and the Somsa (beef pastry) is amazing. Fast and easy to get to go.

Food that’s just good for your soul. Lamb soup will cure your winter blues and dumplings will put you in your happy place. This needs to be your halal fix. Come hungry. 😋😋😋

Just dined here after seeing some recommendations and driving into town after 3 hours. We love Dry Fried Laghman Noodles, so we ordered it and received nothing like it. Our immediate first impression was that it looked like Chinese lo mein. Having tried this dish many times elsewhere, this tasted too much like soy sauce and black vinegar which was not tasty. It was also not dry but seeping wet in these two liquids. There was no hint of cumin or other spices that are usually present in this dish. We went back up to ask the front worker (who was frequenting the kitchen back and forth) what this dish was and he confirmed it was the dish we ordered. After some time we decided to speak with the manager to see what was up. We asked what the ingredients were and he replied back that it’s soy sauce and black vinegar, which confirmed what we were tasting. He also confirmed that there is no cumin in this dish. We explained to him that we’ve had this dish several times in many other places but it never tasted like this. This confusion from us seemed to piss him off because as we waited for him to respond back to us, he immediately averted his attention elsewhere, rang the bell to call up the next customer to pick up their order. He had no explanation or not even an apology. It was straight up rude. Maybe they had other more accurate dishes, but I would not recommend eating here since he left a very poor impression; aside from the misleading dishes that he sells.

Amazing restaurant specially with the uniqueness and delicious "halal" (clean pure healthy food tradition experience there!) Meet Mr. Noory (I think he is Manager?) who has been veey generous. He is also very patiently explain each characters of food there which I have never experienced before. The price is also not too pricey...But the quality is like five diamond restaurant👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️ I was grateful when I visited during the snow. So I can explore more of their amazing delicious festive experience!!!

Yelp
Third time getting food from here! Almost always get takeout. We did eat here one time. Food is really good here! We Always get the chicken kebab sticks really tasty and tender. Also the big plate chicken is really good - it's basically like a chicken stew with potatoes and veggies. Hubs got the stir fry beef with veggies. Also got the spicy tofu this time. Service was friendly and efficient - didn't have to wait too long. Prices are reasonable. As for ambience it is the food court at the Super 88 so it is what it is but it's decent. Place wasn't too busy around 6pm on Sunday, so we got the food fairly quick. Everything was fresh and piping hot which is how I like it! Definitely go try this place if you haven't already!!

Yelp
Had the Stir Fried Beef with rice. It was really delicious. Will be back for sure. Next time, I'll have to get the larger stir fried beef that doesn't come with rice b/c the beef is so good.
