The Best Shaved Ice In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This small shop near Alki beach may specialize in scoops and boba—but the bingsu is worth a visit on its own. Here you’ll find colorful little bowls of the stuff, each elaborately decorated with tons of toppings, fruit, and syrups (and manageable enough for a single serving). The creamiest flavor is the mango, and those who want contrasting textures should opt for the original version, where red bean paste, mochi bits, and strawberries all get along together." - gabe guarente, kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo

Alki Ice Cream & Bubble Tea serves good bingsu near the beach - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This small shop near the beach may specialize in scoops and boba—but the bingsu is the main reason to check it out. Here you’ll find colorful little bowls of the stuff, each elaborately decorated with tons of toppings, fruit, and syrups (all manageable enough for a single serving). The creamiest flavor is the mango, and those who want contrasting textures should opt for the original version, where red bean paste, mochi bits, and strawberries all get along together. Grab one for a sunny stroll on Alki and clock everyone's jealous looks." - Gabe Guarente

Google
I have no idea why this place doesn’t have more reviews or higher ratings because this was hands down the best shaved ice I’ve ever had. I’ve been to countless spots from Hawaii to California, and this easily makes my top five. The shop owners were incredibly kind and still welcomed us even though they were closing in five minutes. The texture of the ice was perfect, and the toppings were super generous. I wish I lived closer because I’d be here every week. In the photo I got the mango shaved ice bingsu. So so good!

Every spoonful truly feels like happiness! 🌈🍦 With its unique and natural flavors, it goes far beyond the usual ice cream experience. It’s refreshing and puts a smile on your face. My favorite is definitely [your favorite flavor] – you absolutely have to try it!

It was my first time coming to this spot. I highly recommend it to people that are visiting or around the area. I know Spring/Summer is coming up so they are slowly opening up for the warm weather. It is a family owned business which I like to support. Their Boba I got was the Fresh Strawberry Smoothie was amazing and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough was on point and very good. If your around the area come check them out! The owner/workers are very welcoming and very nice.

Pic is a single scoop half eaten, we got excited and ate it before the review lol. Anyways, great spot along the beach. Super nice staff. Fair priced and clean. 100% would come back.

Man this place is good, I got the boba binsu, so many different flavors and it was exceptional. I highly recommend this place! Staff was super kind too.

Google
Great place to stop by and get, Shaved Ice, Boba or Ice Cream. My family tried all 3 options. Here is a photo of my order it is the original shaved ice bowl. The next day I was craving the shaved ice again. The customer service was great and we will stop by when ever we are in West Seattle Alki Beach.

Google
An absolute gem of a spot with dangerously craveable bingsu - a shaved ice dessert with sweetened condensed milk, fruits, jellies, mochi, sweet red bean, and a melt-in-your-mouth texture that's perfect for these summer beach days. Reminds me a lot of halo halo but the shaved ice texture is so much finer! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go back to try one of their other bingsu flavors!! This is the original, and they've got mango, strawberry, matcha, and a few more too.

Google
Great little spot! The owner is SO SWEET! I’ve seen her on multiple occasions give young kids a little treat for free (with parents permission) if she sees them upset or just because. Ice cream is always tasty.

Yelp
This was basically place side of house. The bubble tea and ice cream has 2 different lines but it actually the same building. It has very chill vibes and decor, reminds me of boardwalk in the sunnier cities like LA or Honolulu. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. We got the Mango Bingsu Shaved Ice, which was a decent price and had lots of toppings as well. Overall, would I go back? More than likely!

Yelp
Stopped to get bingsu after dinner on Alki! The bingsu itself was okay and a bit on the pricier side ($14 for one) but split it between two people. Got the matcha one and maybe since it was towards the end of the day, the red beans were too mushy for my taste. Loved how close this place is to the water and the inside. I liked how they sold old time candy. It's a fun place to stop if you're in the area for a sweet treat.

Yelp
This place is beyond tasty! Upon approaching the building there is a line out of the door, customers seem happy to be patronizing the shop. There are over ten unique flavors to chose from among a wide assortment of bubble teas and flavorful juices. There aren't many places to sit but a slight hop across the street will land you on a beach front facing the pugent sound. The customer service immediately greeted me and offered me samples of as many flavors I could stuff my face with. Overall, I highly recommend trying the ice cream! Next time, I ll try the bubble tea.

Yelp
Their ice cream selection looks decent, but that's it. We ordered a brown sugar boba and coffee boba with 50% sugar. What we got tasted like they added extra sugar to both our orders. We couldn't drink it, and their bobas were hard as if it's getting old.

Yelp
there was a metal nut screw cap in my ice cream. Absolutely disgusting zero out of 10 do not recommend. Who knows what else they're putting in their ice cream...

Yelp
My partner and I decided to have a little dessert before we left Alki. The service was great, so was the location and ambiance of the shop! One thing we wanted to mention was that the teas/ice creams were more on the pricey-er side. Tea only will cost you about $8 and a double scoop of ice cream will also fall around that too. In total, for a cup of tea (no toppings,) and some ice cream it came out to 16 (no tax included.) We forgot to take picture of our food before we ate, so here's a during picture! :)

Yelp
Excellent ice cream. Friendly service. Very clean. So glad it's summer time and they are open!

Yelp
We loved the ice cream here! Had a cotton candy (surprisingly good!) and chocolate (very rich with some chunks of chocolate). Will come back for bingsu another day.

Yelp
It's all ice. You could only order through an iPad or there use I would have said less ice.

Boomer A.

Yelp
Rude people, 7 bucks for a hot coco that wasn't full and like warm tasted like crap. Definitely not a place to come back too

Y L.

Yelp
Bingsu is so delicious. It's a light and fluffy shave ice, perfect for summer. Daughter begs to go back daily.

Yelp
I will never come here again. The man at the counter gave me and my family a spoon out of the used spoons cup, and when I picked up the cup of spoons to inspect it he said "those are used." The spoon was very obviously used, but the child in our family used it without thinking. The ice cream also fell out of the cone right away after leaving the store because they didn't push it down. Don't come here- wouldn't be surprised if there are more health concerns about this place...
