Philadelphia Restaurant Openings to Know, June 2025 | Eater Philly

"A charming candy shop near Rittenhouse Square from co-founders Alyssa Bonventure and Emily Grossman that grew out of a pandemic project selling colorful candy charcuterie boards online—those candy boards and a wider selection of sweets are now available at the physical location." - Erika Adams

All Aboard Candy is definitely a visually appealing shop. The displays are colorful, well-organized, and full of unique candies and gift items that make you want to browse for a while. The selection is impressive, from nostalgic treats to more modern sweets, and the store layout is fun and inviting. Unfortunately, my experience with customer service left a lot to be desired. While I was shopping, I had a question about one of the products. The only staff member in the store at the time was sitting near the counter, deep in conversation with her friends, enjoying ice cream. I waited for a natural pause to ask my question, but it quickly became clear that I would need to interrupt in order to get any help. When she finally notice me standing there, she looked annoyed, set her ice cream down, and answered me in a way that felt rushed and uninterested. It’s a shame because the store itself has a lot of potential and could easily be a go-to candy stop for locals and tourists alike. With more attentive and welcoming customer service, it would be a much sweeter experience all around.

Absolutely loved my first visit to all aboard candy!! Not only was the candy so delicious but it’s also a great spot for unique and fun gifts. The staff was so friendly and keep the store so clean. Will definitely be returning soon!

Sweetest shop on the block! Ideal location right next to the local fav of 1-900 & a short walk to Rittenhouse. The selection was incredible, dare I say better than Bonbon! Only downside is I live dangerously close to it!!! Would recommend the pink&blue skulls & the sour lips🍬💗💋 welcome to the neighborhood All Aboard!

All Aboard Candy is the best addition to Rittenhouse! The candy selection is amazing. My son makes me take him at least once a week and we now have a big glass candy jar we add our new candy to each week :)

Best candy in Philly! The customer service is top notch. Marlee helped me find exactly what I was looking for to celebrate my sister’s engagement. I will definitely be back!

Its such a cute shop, great selection but the customer service needs improvement. No greeting, seemed uniterested in questions. The oddest part of the experience was watching the cashier seemingly unselect a store branded bag, which there were two sizes, and put our order in a plain white bag. Strongly feel they desire a certain type of person carrying their bags as we seemed to be the only people given a non store bag when they were available. I had nothing to photograph for my side business/local newsletter. The bulk candy bins are also hard to access as the heights are awkwardly spaced and too high in certain spots.

Yelp
I think this place is so so cute! It's right next to the popular 1-900-ice-cream, at the corner of the street. They have a large variety of candies, ranging from sweet to sour, including some BUBs. They are constantly replenishing the stock and they have some packaged candies when you first step in as well. I spend a good amount of time just browsing, and debating which candies I want, they have bags to the left of the candy boxes. Each box of candy has its own scoop to decrease cross contamination and the staff is super sweet!

Yelp
Such a cute new spot, and in the perfect location (next to 1-900-ICE CREAM) to complete a block of sweet treats! I had to try this place since the Swedish candy craze has been taking over the internet. They had all the viral candies (bubs, piggies, skulls) but also lots of less trendy options, so everyone is sure to find something. It's definitely a little pricey at $4.85 per 1/4 lb, but for a boutique candy store I think it's a fair price. Plus, you have the option to just spend a few bucks buying a couple pieces, or to really splurge!
