All Aboard Candy

All Aboard Candy is definitely a visually appealing shop. The displays are colorful, well-organized, and full of unique candies and gift items that make you want to browse for a while. The selection is impressive, from nostalgic treats to more modern sweets, and the store layout is fun and inviting. Unfortunately, my experience with customer service left a lot to be desired. While I was shopping, I had a question about one of the products. The only staff member in the store at the time was sitting near the counter, deep in conversation with her friends, enjoying ice cream. I waited for a natural pause to ask my question, but it quickly became clear that I would need to interrupt in order to get any help. When she finally notice me standing there, she looked annoyed, set her ice cream down, and answered me in a way that felt rushed and uninterested. It’s a shame because the store itself has a lot of potential and could easily be a go-to candy stop for locals and tourists alike. With more attentive and welcoming customer service, it would be a much sweeter experience all around.

I was diagnosed with celiac a few weeks ago and was hoping I’d be able to still eat my favorite Swedish candies. Some people were over by the bins so I was looking at the packaged candy to see what I could have. I asked the person working if they knew if anything was safe for celiac because it was hard to read the labels on the bagged candy. They said that the owner has celiac and is careful about labeling the GF candies. I asked how often a child will cross contaminate with the scoops and they said they’re very careful to replace the scoops if they see any cross contact. I was really happy to know that the person working & the owner were knowledgeable. They also label things “vegan” or “contains gelatin.” I really like the mix of stuff they stock. I’ve been to both locations of bonbon in NYC many times and I think All Aboard Candy has the best options of any Swedish candy store I’ve been to.

Sweetest shop on the block! Ideal location right next to the local fav of 1-900 & a short walk to Rittenhouse. The selection was incredible, dare I say better than Bonbon! Only downside is I live dangerously close to it!!! Would recommend the pink&blue skulls & the sour lips🍬💗💋 welcome to the neighborhood All Aboard!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !! I rarely write reviews, but my experience here has been SO bad that I had to warn the public. I haven’t seen customer service this bad in a very long time. The cash register is situated right by the door, so staff can clearly see you as you walk in, yet they refuse to say hi, look up from their phones, or pause whatever miscellaneous tasks they’re doing to greet customers. Don’t bother asking questions, because they act like it’s a problem that you’re talking to them. I honestly feel uncomfortable every time I’ve been there. I went in this week and felt so unwelcome. No greeting and no acknowledgment that a customer had entered. I almost thought I was in the wrong for coming in. That's how bad it is! It’s a shame, because I do like the candy and the shop is very cute, but I’m so put off by how the staff seemingly refuses to interact with customers that I’d rather go to the candy shop a few blocks away or just order online. This terrible customer service has happened almost every time I’ve been in the store, and friends of mine have had the same experience. If you don’t mind feeling incredibly awkward in a tiny shop with rude staff, then come here. If you’d rather spend your hard-earned money somewhere you’ll at least be greeted, go elsewhere.

All Aboard Candy is the best addition to Rittenhouse! The candy selection is amazing. My son makes me take him at least once a week and we now have a big glass candy jar we add our new candy to each week :)

honestly the best selection of candy!! everything is so yummy, and the store is decorated so cute too! it’s such a great vibe. I ordered their candy boards for a gift and everyone LOVED them!!! definitely my new staple in philly!!

Absolutely loved my first visit to all aboard candy!! Not only was the candy so delicious but it’s also a great spot for unique and fun gifts. The staff was so friendly and keep the store so clean. Will definitely be returning soon!

Customer service was outstanding and supportive and the candy was delicious. So fresh. We’ve had Swedish candy before and it was lackluster in flavor. Each type of Swedish candy we got was a burst of flavor. It was our first time visiting and it won’t be our last.

I think this place is so so cute! It's right next to the popular 1-900-ice-cream, at the corner of the street. They have a large variety of candies, ranging from sweet to sour, including some BUBs. They are constantly replenishing the stock and they have some packaged candies when you first step in as well. I spend a good amount of time just browsing, and debating which candies I want, they have bags to the left of the candy boxes. Each box of candy has its own scoop to decrease cross contamination and the staff is super sweet!

Such a cute new spot, and in the perfect location (next to 1-900-ICE CREAM) to complete a block of sweet treats! I had to try this place since the Swedish candy craze has been taking over the internet. They had all the viral candies (bubs, piggies, skulls) but also lots of less trendy options, so everyone is sure to find something. It's definitely a little pricey at $4.85 per 1/4 lb, but for a boutique candy store I think it's a fair price. Plus, you have the option to just spend a few bucks buying a couple pieces, or to really splurge!

They have amazing candy the owners and the people there are very nice and the nicest thing is that they allow dogs inside their store
