"Meanwhile, Luckley Tavern & Grill from Oliver Wharton’s A Perfect Bite hospitality group is on the brink of opening. The pub’s design draws inspiration from the English hilltown of Cotswold, while the lunch and dinner menus from chef Alex Resnick will feature items such as lollipop-style buffalo wings, lobster pot pie, a 32-ounce tomahawk steak, and table-side ice cream sundae cart. Expect an upgrade on the bar side as the Rio is adding a number of signature drinks and local beers." - Ryan Slattery

We stayed at the Rio hotel Las Vegas, and ate twice at the All-American bar and Grille. The food is delicious! The first night I got the hummus plate and the wedge salad, which was spectacular. The next afternoon for lunch I got the all American breakfast. Best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had, crunchy on the outside soft on the inside and delicious scrambled eggs. Not an easy feat. The staff and servers were welcoming and attentive. The decor is absolutely beautiful with stone columns on the wall and blue wave lights on the ceiling. I highly recommend you eat there when visiting the Rio hotel in Las Vegas!

We visited this establishment on Tuesday 7 November for dinner due to a $60 comp. We were seated right away. It took awhile to get our beverage order. After that everything flowed. I ordered the patty melt and my wife got the mushroom Swiss burger both were $20.99 each. The order didn’t take long and the food was hot especially the fries which had a nice crispy texture which I usually judge while eating first. Our server kept checking on us. On the way out we saw a back seating area which is more appealing if you don’t care for the smoke which I would of preferred. We wished we would of shared as there was plenty of food and it always gives another option to try another place if sharing.

It has been a long time since I ate here , but I got a $50.00 comp , so I decided to give it a shot. I read a few bad reviews , but at the Rio there is not many places to eat and the ones that are still there may have limited hours. I honestly didn't think it was that bad. I got the Ribeye Steak with Real Mashed Potatoes and Vegetable Medley which was Green Beans , Carrots , and Jicama which is a Mexican Turnip. My steak was cooked to my liking , a little smokey taste , and it wasn't seasoned much so I used a little Heinz 57 sauce. When I make my steaks at home I season it well that I don't need to use any kind of steak sauce. The mashed potatoes were pretty good and a good amount. The vegetable medley was okay , green beans not very fresh , but the Jicama was good and seasoned pretty well and the carrots were also. My waiter was Jose and he was friendly enough and the lady that brought me my drink , brought me a refill without asking when I was almost finished so good timing. I was gonna get a draft beer which was on the menu , but Jose said they only have bottles of beer and they need to update the menu. I decided to get an Arnold Palmer then , but he said they had no lemonade. So Pepsi it is ! Not really my choice with a steak , but I didn't want a bottle of beer , I wanted a cold draft beer. With my Comp I only owed $1.06 , so the bill was just over the $50.00 . I noticed a lot of the other things on the menu were way overpriced like cheesesteak sandwich and others for $20.00 . I can't say I would come here again for the prices and the food just being average. My steak was good , but more tasting like a steak and eggs kind of combo at like a Denny's or something. I remember when the Rio was the place to be in the 90's , but it is empty on the casino floor , but I did see a lot of people coming out of the comedy club when it let out. It is of course booked up with rooms for like $25 dollars and there was a long line for check in even at 9 o'clock at night !

Not our first time to eat here. We have been many times throughout the years when we visited Vegas. Never disappointed. This visit for breakfast 😋 was very good. Reasonably priced for Vegas. Restaurant is located in the Rio Casino, which we enjoy staying at.

Google
Overall a good restaurant. I ordered the super Nachos and my wife ordered the cheese burger and fries. I must say a bit pricey. The Nachos are really good in my opinion, the ground beef well seasoned you actually get that real nacho cheese sauce. The chips are fresh, the only complaint I had was the beef to tortillas chips was off. By the time I got done eating I had way more chips and no ground beef. As far as taste and flavor this entree checked all the boxes in my book.

100% best place to sit, enjoy a meal or a brew. We've enjoyed a delicious breakfast here and had a great bucket of peel em shrimp that was great. They have a huge dining area in the back. Very friendly staff and it's always a "yes" whatever you need. A great eatery at Rio!! Thank you.

Google
There wasn't a lot open currently at the Rio, so it was either this or Smash burger. I can't remember if Guy's was open. I had the french dip, it was fine, around the same price as one on the strip. Can't say it was the best hot sandwich and fries I’ve had, but it wasn’t the worst. It was just fine. Wait staff were good, and on point.

Google
Great food at great prices and very hefty portions. Ate here while staying at the Rio Hotel and really enjoyed it. Had a hard time finishing the plate. The fries were absolutely amazing 😍!!!

Yelp
Well if I could sum this place up in one word I'd have to say exorbitant. Instead of All American Bar and Grill perhaps "All American Highway robbery" is more fitting. The restaurant itself consists of a bar area in front and what resembled an old steakhouse in the rear portion. There was actually a staircase that led to an upper level in this rear portion of the restaurant. The menu was painfully simple, and as i mentioned before, the prices were comically high. The service unfortunately was also on the dreadful list. No refills of dinks, no anything. The tiny breakfast sandwich i had tasted good, but was thin and barely any ingredients. The price tag for this sandwich was not worth it. I cant wait until Rio brings in new concepts. This place needs to go.

Yelp
Pretty terrible experience to be honest. The one star is purely for the host at the front who was friendly. Our server looked so miserable the entire time, even when I went out of my way to be nice as you never know what people are dealing with, but honestly he had zero customer service. There were two girls on one side of the bar being so loud and throwing out racial slurs and nothing was being done about it. Every other table clearly had a problem and were looking at them and the staff did nothing. On top of all this, I was pretty sick after our meal there. I don't know what it was as I just ate a burger and a few fries but something wasn't good with it. I know there aren't many places open at the Rio on weekdays but I would still avoid this place if you can.

Bryan M.

Yelp
I was a bit put off by the really poor reviews and honestly was not expecting much. I ordered the Cobb salad with chicken ($27...) and was surprised by how much food came out. A huge salad bowl came out and it was overflowing with food. My mom got a burger and my dad a Reuben and both said they were great and plenty of food. I am giving this place 3 stars because of the prices. For three of us to eat, without cocktails, was over $100 and sure, we got a lot of food that was all good, but for bar food, this was extremely pricey.

Amanda R.

Yelp
I came here because the options were limited and we were hungry. The place was empty yet the service was still slow. The menu is typical but pretty expensive. Granted, in Vegas everything is expensive but this was definitely not worth the prices. Do not recommend unless you are starving and even then as hungry as I was I couldn't even finish my mediocre meal. Lastly, bring a sweater it was pretty cold in there.

Yelp
It's very difficult to write about the food! I totally understand that RIO is the worst resort in LV but still you expect something. Let me tell you this way the food quality is the exact match with the rooms. The service was okay but the food was one the worst in the LV. Just stay away, order from food deliveries or have some snacks instead of going there.

Harper F.

Yelp
Came to this place because I was staying at the Rio and it was the closest and easiest option. The food is very average and overpriced. I understand it's Vegas but the food quality wasn't worth the expensive bill. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Our table was against a half-wall that opened up to the casino. We had fun people watching while eating our lunch.

Bridgett S.

Yelp
As the Rio is upgrading this restaurant is closed for good they are building a new one. Not many others to choose from

Andrea W.

Yelp
This was the worst food I had for years!! The price is ridiculous. Not a grain of seasoning on anything the beef tasted like I was chewing on my own tongue.. very very chewy, plain and dry The chicken Alfredo is a joke. No flavor at all the service was so so nothing interesting about the place or the service.. tacky gaming machines inside the restuarant. The only reason it's open is because there is no where else to eat.

Alishia R.

Yelp
We went for breakfast ended up getting lunch! I ordered fish and chips and it was really good the fish was crispy, flakey and well seasoned and it was more then enough good for the price! My wife got spicy chicken tenders and fries she said they were good but could have been sauced a little more but all in all it was really good! Service was good too!

Zack H.

Yelp
----We came last month for lunch---- - We were seated right away on a dirty table. - The server came in to greet and only wiped half the table. - Attitude wasn't the nicest - Service wasn't attentive - Food made us sick... Especially for me in the table... Never coming back again

Yelp
The food was good, big portions. Our waiter was very funny and attentive to us; continued to check on us great service.

Yelp
While this review is long long long overdue, I'd like to mention that my visit happened well before covid happened... Since we were staying at the Rio and had the biggest hunger pains kicked in quite late into the night, I decided to hop on Yelp to see what was tasty and within the area. Lucky for us, All-American Bar & Grille looked super promising and we immediately headed down. The establishment was occupied but I wouldn't consider it busy due to the time of our visit. There was no one in sight so our group of 4 took it upon ourselves to grab a table. We sat until we could grab someone's attention and menus were brought out. We settled with: Dozen Hot Wings 14oz NY Strip Steak 20oz Prime Rib Soup & Salad Combo & a few beers to go around Food was okay. The NY Strip was over cooked as opposed to the medium rare that was requested.Wings were good but nothing spectacular. Prime rib was massive and well cooked, the condiments only added to the delicious flavors. Salad was good but the soup [chili] could have been skipped all together. 3 stars overall. Service could have been a little more attentive given the fact that AABG wasn't busy at all. Food portions are HUGE but depending on what you order it can be a hit or miss.

Sam M.

Yelp
They let us walk in. Look at us. Don't say a word. Once we ask for a table for two: "no guests, we're closed. No guests, we're closed." How rude they were. What an awful experience.

Jennifer O.

Yelp
Food , atmosphere and the customer service was amazing. The bloody Mary's were perfect, we came here a few times once for lunch and for breakfast both times were great . French dip , fish and chips, Denver omelette and a breakfast sandwich , breakfast was my favorite with those crispy country potatoes yum .

Brett P.

Yelp
Very overpriced for bar food, two of our party ordered the same salad one wisely stopped eating it saying it didn't taste right the other unfortunately did not stop and was sick for two days. Luckily I had the the cheese steak and it was so overdone it couldn't have any contamination. They could do better but reading the reviews it doesn't seem they are interested. If you stay here keep food in your room and go out to eat to be safe.

Nette B.

Yelp
Came here because we were all hungry after watching WOW. Service was okay. They forgot my friends beer. My Crown was water downed. The food is was also okay. It's bar food. :( The cheesesteak was meh. The meat had no flavor. If you're drunk and need to sober up, stopped by here. For me, I wouldn't return.

Robert E.

Yelp
Well.....it's Vegas! Located in the Rio, an Old hotel with below average rooms and cleanliness, you have to expect about the same if any restaurant in the same location. It was edible. Ordered the breakfast platter the first morning with POWDERED eggs, sausage links, breakfast potatoes and toast. All was fine except the powdered eggs. Price is high for the quality, but again it's Vegas. However, here's a tip to remember when ordering breakfast. Don't ask for scrambled eggs or you will get powdered eggs. Ask for over easy or sunny side up and surprise!!!!! You'll get real eggs. Shame on you Rio. That is tacky!

Tony H.

Yelp
Rio all American bar and grille still standing . Middle of the road for me . Had breakfast but can see they do have other meals for the day . Nothing special just had the breakfast sandwich . I requested to our waiter Jose for him to jus break it up and not put it together and he was able to do that . Soft scramble eggs with sausage . Sour Doug bread nice and toasty . Jose was great with his service and polite . I hear changes are coming for the Rio so we will see . Next time will try try something different . Maybe lunch

Kamaria S.

Yelp
This review is for nick and Spydr. Unfortunately I had a terribly rude experience with Spydr. Nick was there to smooth things over and take control - like a knight in shining armor! Maybe because I'm a woman of color, I was treated differently of other ladies coming to dine- who had fairer skin? Maybe spydr assumed because I was darker, I didn't know better or was unfamiliar with acceptable tipping percentages ? I'm seriously unsure ... I asked "hi. is there a drink menu I can take a glance at?" Just to see the types of wine they offered and the price list--without having to bother the bartender. Spydr replied "no". So I replied "Sorry no worries! what kinds of wine do you have ?" He replied " cab... merlot...you know 'wine'.." I replied "okay I guess since you only have red I can do a red. What is the price difference?" He replied " uggghh $14 and up" . Keeping the convo extremely short - although there were only two other parties at the bar at this time.

N M.

Yelp
After playing at the Kiss mini golf at the Rio hotel & casino, we were looking for somewhere on property to eat around 9pm. Party of 4 and a baby, we were seated promptly. Our waiter was fast and friendly. The food came out quickly and it was a lot better than I expected. I ordered the Rueben sandwich, everything about it was good, the fries were amazing which was a plus. Overall it was a good experience.

Michael S.

Yelp
The Rio should be embarrassed! Even with everyone emerging from the pandemic, you can't reopen with basically 2-3 restaurants open. Certainly if you do reopen any of your restaurants, at least be prepared with quality employees and food. From subpar food, dirty bathrooms, less than knowledgeable staff, Rio has dropped the ball with their reopening!

Sunonda W.

Yelp
Service is great!! Wait staff is awesome! A good variety of food choices on the menu. I have been here twice and both times we had great food and drinks! I definitely recommend!

Lila C.

Yelp
Not a bad restaurant to eat after a night staying in Rio. Easy to get to the restaurant and have a view of the casino. Surprisely the French toast is very good with fresh strawberries. Healthy omelette is also good, very Healthy with only egg white and a cup of fresh cutted fruits.

Brett B.

Yelp
Good place for any meal time. Limited menu due to covid restrictions but tasty food nonetheless.

Erich H.

Yelp
Decent food, high price, watch da gamblers gamble. Rio not so great for gambling... Enjoy!

Steff A.

Yelp
Restaurants in Casinos are generally overpriced for the quantity and/or quality of food you receive...All American Bar did a pretty good job of keeping things in check..and exceeded expectations. AABG Service and ambiance: It was a little slow getting seated by the hostess but eventually we did. Our server was very friendly once we got situated with our order. He kept the soft drinks and the waters fresh, and the kitchen got our orders to our table quickly. Obvious sports bar decor with a bar showcased in the middle. There's plenty of flat screens around throughout the restaurants if you're getting your game on. AABG cuisine: They keep the menu simple which I'm definitely ok with for a sports bar & grille. I went with the Bacon & Eggs burger and I was impressed. The eggs were cooked to a perfect over well, there was plenty of cheese and my patty was at a medium as requested. Big pieces of bacon that weren't too crunchy wrapped up this very tasty burger for me. Big wedged fries brought everything together. The BBFF had a salad and it was fresh and generous in quantity. Overall, we were very happy with our visit here. If you stick to the grilled entrees I think you're going to be just fine here. I don't get to the Rio often, but when I do I'll definitely consider the All-American Bar & Grille for a quick casual meal. Enjoy!

Sal M.

Yelp
Had a chicken quesadilla!! Great taste!!! It was delicious!!! It was late dinner!! It was crunchy and tasty!!

Andrew A.

Yelp
I ordered the omelette and an orange juice and little to my knowledge that was enough to give me food poisoning.

Van D.

Yelp
This little restaurant in the Rio is busy. The wait was about an hour for breakfast on a Friday morning. The service was a bit slow and the food meh. The "healthy" omelet came more scrambled and scorched. The fruit bowl, a side for the healthy omelet was mainly melon and two grapes. The melon was hard. They had two servers for the entire place which was probably the reason why it was slow. Our server hustled but I could see he was super busy. Nonetheless the food order was correct and we got out of there for $50 not including tip for 2 coffees and 2 omelets. No flavored creamer available for coffee and the toast comes unbuttered. The omelets lacked simple seasoning so I understood when a plate of butter, jelly and salt and pepper packets was dropped down along with our food. The price isn't terrible for Vegas and the food is most certainly nothing notable.

Michael G.

Yelp
I had their Cali Club to go and it was very very good as were the fries and pickle. The food is pricey. The first time I tried this place I got the nachos. Their nachos aren't good because they don't use real cheese. Makes no sense why they would use fake cheese and some pseudo sour cream instead of just melting some shredded cheese and putting a dollop of sour cream Seems easier and more sensible

Nina B.

Yelp
I met up with my Co-Workers here for a late lunch before a big meeting. Service was quick and attentive. I ordered the cheeseburger and when I first saw my cheeseburger it was beautiful. The bun was soft and toasty in the inside and did not break at all. The size and portion of the burger was perfect. My coworkers were surprised as well. Will be coming back here again for work lunches.

Jeremy H.

Yelp
Menu has been cut down post-Coroney. The food is OK, it's pretty much the same stuff they serve over at the Sports Kitchen but this place is the only one that has breakfast. Take-out fee here is higher ($3 vs $1), and they'll deliver to the room but charge $10 for some reason. You can just walk in and order take-out at the bar. Expect a meal w/ drink and tip to be around $25.

Jim B.

Yelp
This was our first time here - we enjoyed it. This restaurant is inside the Rio Casino. We met to local friends for dinner. The place smelled great (char grill). I ordered the Ribeye Steak Meal. I had 3 Grilled Shrimp added. I ordered my steak med-rate. It was closer to medium but still had great flavor. I ate it cos having them make another and I was happy with that. My wife ordered the Sirloin Steak and Shrimp meal. Her steak was done med-rate but was a bit tough. She wished she'd have ordered the filet. One of our friend's ordered a burger. It was really tall and he enjoyed it. Our other friend ordered a Filet Meal. Hers came med-rate as ordered and she enjoyed it. I felt this place was a bit pricey for. "Grill" in a casino.

Tim K.

Yelp
Just like the name suggests, straight-up all American food grille in the Rio hotel & casino. Various American fare, including 2 salad options, French dip sandwich, hamburgers, Reuben's, and chicken strip platters. Decent food but not phenomenal - my Caesar salad was $12, $18 when I added the chicken (not heated, not a big fan). Easy to get a seat during a busy time, and the service was good.

Sean K.

Yelp
Me and my wife went here to sit down and play some video poker/blackjack while we waited for our show at the comedy cellar to begin. While playing the games, the bartender came and told us our drinks were comped by the house since we were betting. We were very happy, until she brought us the bill. They didn't comp anything, literally lied to us to get us to stay and keep playing. Full charge. Such shady, disgusting behavior from an establishment already charging a 800% markup on drinks for guests anyway. I'll make sure to stick to the LINQ where my room is and avoid this shithole like the plague

jason l.

Yelp
A simple menu and my expectations weren't high but it was delicious. The shrimp bucket appetizer is awesome big sharing portion. Delicious hot and crispy fries , juicy burger. Service was acceptable. Can't wait to go again!

Victoria G.

Yelp
Food was good, pricy but good. Friendly waitress and waiters. Clean restaurant. Fast service.

Kelli O.

Yelp
Came here for a quick breakfast before we parted ways with our families flying home. The staff was kind and helpful, and checked in with our table often. The food was good but price a tad high. Nevertheless, our visit was enjoyable :)

Jennifer K.

Yelp
I have no idea what this 3 star rating could be about. We had an excellent experience! The food was mouth watering good! They really know how to cook a steak! And those fries!! Have to be the best I've ever had! Truly no joke! The customer service was wonderful! Richard was an excellent server! Engaged in conversation talked about the meal with us asked our opinions of it but also didn't talk too much either! With your players card and a local ID you save 25%! Use your Yelp for a check-in and get a free draft beer! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! And btw, it looks like just a bar from the front but there is quite a nice little restaurant in the back!

April M.

Yelp
The food - the eggs were not real or from a bag. please see pic. it looks like the egg has multiple layers. - The fries: tasted spoiled and reheated. - The Vegetables: the vegetables were from a bag and still frozen. -The Fish: no seasoning but decent. tarter sauce and BbQ helped. - The service: rushed and dishonest. The are also located in a hotel off of the strip. The attempted to charge 200 to watch the Super Bowl as we are. No food or drinks but a seat to watch the Super Bowl. The drinks -I ordered a hot Tottie. it came out with a tea kettle and a glass with a shot. no lemon no honey. the kettle was way too hot and I was not informed and it was dropped on the table and floor and on someone's foot and they had pain since it was so hot it buneed her. my finger is still burning ( you know the feeling when you get burned) My clothes wet. it was not ok.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was great. Didn't have to wait to get served. Bacon and eggs super good.

Tynequa B.

Yelp
The garlic mash potatoes were great everything else no bueno .. the chicken was sooo dry I legit had to take every bite down with water no flavor what so ever !!!!! My veggies were overly cooked and non seasoned as well .. I won't be back !

Lacy T.

Yelp
We came from California and our rental car would not be ready until the next day so we ubered to our hotel and decided to eat here. It started out bad with the server passing us up and getting the food for everyone else around us. We got up and left, but something told me to ask for the manager. Brian came out and greeted us with so much respect that we came back and was served immediately. He turned our stay to the best pleasant experience since it was our first time eating here. Thank you Brian, the food and experience was great!! We really appreciate it. We definitely will be back because of him.

Bill P.

Yelp
Really good food. I ate here when I stayed at the Rio Suites back in December and I will eat there again on my next visit to Vegas. The soup was really good. The cheeseburger was really good too. Recommended restaurant.

Dan L.

Yelp
we went here and it was just okay $22 for a French dip and fries.$40 for a steak. Service okay as well as quality . But serious vegas ain't cheap. Folks spend $500 a night for a room, $200 for a show, $400 for a dinner for two, and gamble $5000 fior the weekend. Me give me a free campsite outside hoover dam and let me count the stars . priceless

Dave S.

Yelp
This place has been in the Rio for a long time. It used to have a steak house in the rear, but that moved to the other side of the casino. I was here a year ago just after covid and the food was meh. The sale of the hotel a few years ago also seemed to effect the quality of the hotel and food, but just this last visit, they seemed to have the casino and food improved. I would come back until it gets too lavish and expensive. For now, it's just right for my budget.

Syl T.

Yelp
This place is open today, info says Closed. We sat at the bar to avoid waiting in line for a table. I ordered the Steak & Eggs and my hubby went for the Bacon & Eggs. Food was good. The issue we had was with the cocktails. The bartender took our order for a Bloody Mary & OJ Vodka. After a minute, the bartender came back to say they were out of Bloody Mary mix. He brought out what we thought was the OJ Vodka. My hubby took a sip and couldn't taste the vodka. He called the bartender over and he told us that he had run out of OJ and had to use pineapple juice. He had also run out of A1 so he brought us two bottles for the Steak & Eggs! This poor guy! Erik told us today was his first day back after 16 months! He was trying so hard to serve, take orders, bus, make drinks. Give the guy what he needs to do his job!

Ms Darth V.

Yelp
This is a great place to have a full filling meal before heading out for a night on the town! Prices are little high but you get a lot of food for your buck! The chicken nachos were soooo good. The humus was delicious. The shrimp (appetizer) was pretty tasty. The club sandwich was freaking delicious. The wings had a kick and were cooked perfectly. Bloody Mary was awesome. They put a piece of bacon in it. Steak & eggs were great!!! The French fries crispy and seasoned pretty great. The service was really good too!
