All India Cafe - best restaurant in glendale

Tried out this place recently. It’s such a great spot. The ambiance is spot on. The food was delicious. Especially the Chicken Tikka Masala! The service was also incredible. The Garlic naan is the best.

Their title is appropriate. After trying 4 other Indian restaurants around LA, this was excellent in all regards. The food was authentic, we had the Baigan Burta and we could taste the smoked flavor, spices were limited allowing you to taste the eggplant. No cream or gimmick. The dal was great too. 👌 the hostess/server was very polite and humble. Samosa looked wierd ( See picture) but tasted authentic. We also saw the owner eat his own food, a good sign :-). Restroom and corridor were clean unlike other restaurants. Overall a great experience. We'll done All Inda Cafe.

Amazing Indian Food for Glendale But ‘A La Carte’ Everything Makes It Insanely Expensive. I’ll give it the credit it deserves, really delicious and fresh Indian food. Naans were crisp to perfection and Tikka Masala was perfectly spicy with large chunks of meat. But man…$20 entrees that don’t even come with basmati rice? Or naan? That’s a big no from me. Made the mistake of ordering their new appetizers and they were just as expensive as the entrees with way less food. If you can order in a smart way or split it, definitely worth it. But $90 bill for two people with no drinks is outrageous to me.

We had an amazing experience at All India Cafe! The food was so delicious that we didn’t even get a chance to take pictures before diving in. Every dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was just as impressive—Arshdeep took great care of us and was incredibly kind and attentive. The restaurant itself is very clean and the atmosphere is really nice. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!

Just happened to see this place while walking to another eatery. Glad that we decided to eat here instead. We enjoyed all the plates we ordered. Love the atmosphere and decor. And Jenny, our server, was such a delight. We'll be coming back to try other dishes.

We had a late dinner (after 9:30 PM) on a Friday night here. Loved the interior decor and service at this restaurant. The food tasted authentic, fresh and was not excessively oily. Spice levels were adjusted perfectly to our request for each dish. Especially recommend the tandoori rotis, saag paneer, jalfrezi and ginger flavored ice cream. Garlic naan and aloo paratha were good too. The entrees don't come with rice or naan, so you have to order them separately. Street parking was full but there were paid parking lots available close by.

Had a wonderful experience here, and introduced my Audiology doctoral extern + her husband to Indian food! Maddy was our waitress, and was attentive with great suggestions. We went with the veggie special (muttar paneer), saag tofu, and chicken tikka masala with rice and garlic naan. We also enjoyed our mango lassis as a perfect dessert. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back! Edit - 2/1/26 - came here for their DineLA deal, competitively priced at $35. Solid value!

Well this a pretty nice little spot nestled at the heart of Glendale. Just walking in, it's easy to be enamored by the lovely decor and intimate lighting. . Now, when it comes to the Punjabi cuisine, they stuck with your traditional dishes, and added an interesting Gulabi Farfalle Pasta dish that saffron curry base with bell pepper, coriander, turmeric, and cumin. To start with, the Pani puri shots made from tamarind and mint spices was a refreshing amuse bouche that helps cleanse and prepare your palate for the delicious food to come. The potato samosa was dense, but in a good way, with more potato than breading, which you can get from some other places. The mint and tamarind chutney paired well with the samosa. The onion pakora similarly struck a nice balance of crispness and savoriness without being too oily. Simple, but delicious! On the drink side, the mango laasi was one of the thickest I've had and yet it wasn't too sweet, either. It was refreshing. The same can be said with the Chai which was spiced well, but not sweetened at all. It tasted like actual Chai. As for the entree, the two best were the butter chicken and the Gulabi Farfalle Pasta, while the Saag Paneer and Tandoori were a bit underseasoned and less memorable. But the tandoori, which was not red because they don't use red food coloring, struck a nice level of tenderness and was not too dry, which I have found with some tandoori chicken. The garlic Naan had a very nice crispy texture to it, but I would love a bit more kick with the garlic. So the best two are the butter chicken, which you can never go wrong at any Indian restaurant, and particularly here. It was savory, filling, but not too heavy. It can be too salty if not balanced with some basmati rice, but it's not too rich, either. The Gulabi Farfalle was the most surprising and adventurous of the dishes tonight, combining two different worlds in one dish with bow tie pasta and the saffron curry base with bell pepper, coriander, turmeric, and cumin.

I had an appointment in Glendale and, like any reasonable Angeleno, decided I'd rather kill time with food than sit parked on the 5 pretending it's a parking lot. Yelp told me I was dangerously close to All India Café, which had been sitting on my "to-try" list, so in I went. The Chicken Tikka Kebab came out sizzling and fragrant--juicy boneless pieces that hit all the right notes of cilantro, ginger, and garlic. But the real MVP? The green sauce on the side. Bright, herby, tangy--it was so good I considered asking for a to-go tub and calling it dinner. The little pickled veggies were a fun bonus too. The Peshwari Naan was sweet and nutty, almost dessert-like, though it came with a jam that didn't really do it for me. Still, naan on its own? Yum. I also ordered the Gajar Al Hawa dessert--warm, carrot-based, and surprisingly comforting. Unique flavor, but I was into it. For drinks, I tried the Maharaja's Fashion (their Indian Old Fashioned with saffron bitters). Couldn't really taste the saffron, but the bourbon and orange combo still worked. Service was warm and attentive without hovering, and since I rolled in early evening, I pretty much had the place to myself. Definitely worth the Glendale detour, and I'd happily come back to work through more of their menu.

We were working for a place to eat and happened to stumble in here! Immediately, we were greeted by our server who offered us lounge seating on the floor or a standard table (try the lounge). As a vegetarian, Indian food is typically an amazing option and this place was no exception--our waitress was able to provide several recommendations and options and we tried an assortment of things all of which were delicious. All dishes on the menu were well-marked as vegan, vegan option, and gluten-free so there was never a concern. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you're in the Glendale area and craving a cozy, delicious Indian meal!

We recently visited the Arcadia location and enjoyed it so much that we decided to meet up with friends at the Glendale spot. My friend and I ordered from the Dine LA menu, while another friend chose the Frankie wrap, and my husband went with the fish tikka masala, onion naan, and a salad. The Dine LA combo was such a great deal--it came with a flaky, flavorful samosa, chicken tikka masala, salad, gobi aloo, dahl lentils, garlic naan, Indian iced tea, and rice pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. The naan was especially memorable--fresh, warm, and perfectly cooked. My friend loved the Frankie, which was like an Indian burrito packed with flavor. The service was friendly and welcoming, and we all had a great time. Street parking is available, and there's also a 90-minute lot nearby. The interior has a trendy vibe, complete with a beautiful mural that adds to the experience.

I was craving Indian food and never noticed this place in Glendale and boy am I happy to find it!! The curry and garlic naan are so delicious here. Ambiance is great. Service was wonderful and the recommendations were exactly spot on based on what we liked. I will be back to try more of the recommendations. I honestly don't remember what the ball thing was but it was delicious and the way it was served was unique as well.

Some of the best Indian food we've ever had! Garlic naan was made so well. We ordered the fish tikki masala and Vegetarian Tali. Vegetarian Tali came with nirvana tofu and it had so much flavor. Our waitress was very young, polite, and professional. We ate at one of the lower tables. Great experience but it was uncomfortable for me. My legs were too long and I'm only 5 ft 6. The ambiance is quieter with background music. Great place for connection and socializing with your company. Lots of seating available at this location. 100% recommend. EXCELLENT INDIAN FOOD IN GLENDALE ================================= I have been to All India Cafe's newer restaurant in Glendale many times and I can't believe I forgot to write a review. My husband is a regular at their restaurant on Fair Oaks in Pasadena and he says he can tell a difference between the chicken tikka masala. I really can't. We are hooked on the chicken tikka masala so we always order the lunch special. See my photos. We especially love that salad dressing. We ordered the Pani puri shots and they were great. I also ordered a Maharaja Fashion to drink and that was delicious. They add a little saffron and that was a nice addition.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! We were in the mood for Indian food. To my fellow Yelpers, THANK YOU. Yet again, you came through. Met up with my cousin and her husband here for lunch. This was the first time for all of us eating at All India Cafe. I don't rate many restaurants with 5 stars, but this place was on point on everything - food, ambiance and customer service. Our waitress was Prit. She elevated our dining experience to the next level with her recommendations and friendliness. What we ordered: Drinks - Mango lassi, Indian ice tea and Indian lemonade. Mango lassi is always a fave. It wasn't too sweet. The lemonade was refreshing. It's a perfect summer drink. Indian mint ice tea with sweetener on the side was also a solid choice. Appetizer - Samosa and Vada Pav sliders. Samosa are a must every time we eat Indian food. This is not negotiable in our house. The samosa was exactly what we expected. I love the mint chutney with this. Vada Pav, recommended by Prit, was a first for us and OMG! YES, please. Prit did not steer us wrong. Lunch Plates - Chicken Tikka Masala, Fish Tikka and Chicken Tikka with saffron rice and of course, garlic naan. Chicken Tikka Masala is always a fave. Fish Tikka, recommended by Prit, were thick cuts of fish. The pieces weren't dry and the seasoning was perfect. The seasoning didn't over power the fish. My cousin's husband liked the chicken tikka too. Ambiance - The decorations were beautiful. They had a Bollywood movie playing on the TVs. The Indian music playing in the background was not too loud. I didn't find myself yelling across the table to be heard. There's a beautiful mural on the left wall when you walk in. Will we come back? My bestie and I met here for lunch during our work break. I bookmarked the Pasadena location a while back after it showed up in my feed a few times, and later realized they had a second location here in Glendale, right off of Brand - easier for my bestie to get to. After being seated, we were handed a traditional menu as well as a shorter menu of fusion/street food options. We opted to order from the second menu, sharing a plate of Vada Pav sliders and the Gulabi Farfalle. The vegetarian sliders were small spicy potato patties in buns, a twist on a popular Indian street food. The gulabi farfalle was a creamy tomato pasta with a hint of Indian spices. Both dishes were pretty good, making All India Cafe a solid choice for Indian/ fusion food. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

After years of living in Glendale, we finally got a chance to have dinner here and am kicking myself for not coming here sooner! The owner, Deep, was so incredibly lovely and guided us through picking the perfect choices for the perfect meal. I will have dreams tonight about the Nirvana Tofu! Everything was perfection and traditional and every bite was an explosion of flavor. We can't wait to go back. Thank you Deep for an incredible meal and we will back very very soon!

The service was nice. The ambiance was good. We fortunately found paid meter parking just in front of the restaurant. The food? Well, terrible. We opted take out for two of us. Idlis were from frozen to luke warm but hard as a rock. Shrimp vindaloo, far away from what it should be. Got 5 shrimps for $19.95 . Masala dosa I want to believe was frozen to served, small one for $13.95. Total was $78. We had one serving and decided to dunk the rest. Sorry guys, this was not our cup of tea. Perhaps the chef was away and hope you don't walk in on a day as ours.

My friend was craving butter chicken, so we decided to try All India Cafe. The service progressively got worse through our visit. We wanted Samosas, but the waitress kept showing a variety of options on her phone trying to get us to order potato sliders. We don't want that. They didn't want us sharing an entree but one was enough. We ordered saffron rice but received basmati. When we asked is this saffron they said no it's basmati and walked away. You get a free dessert with yelp check in but the desserts are all very similar and none seemed appealing. My friend has already vowed not to return.

Constantly order delivery from their site and it is consistently fresh, hot and full of flavor. Came in last night to eat in the restaurant and it was so special. Ambiance was sexy, custom cocktails looked delicious and the service was so warm and helpful. Started w the pani puri and they were flavor bombs served on the sweetest Indian table cart. My favorite is the Navratam korma add paneer and my husband got the transcendently spicy vindaloo chicken. Naan came fresh and were recommended to order another fresh batch midway. Homemade ice cream was such a delicate flavor and cooling after all of the spice. Highly recommend delivery or dine in!

My partner and I love going to All India Cafe. It's a short walk from our home and the service and food are exceptional. I love their chai tea. I'm always switching between the curries and the flavors are great. For dessert you can't miss the gaarjar halwa. It a seeet carrot pudding, like a warm gooey carrot cake of happiness. Sorry I don't have a lot of photos. I was too busy eating.

All India Café on Brand in Glendale is my favorite Indian spot in Los Angeles. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentic -- you can really taste the care that goes into every dish. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, which makes every visit a great experience. The prices for the daily specials are unbeatable for the quality of the food and the service. It's rare to find a place where you feel like you're getting such incredible value without sacrificing taste or atmosphere, but this café delivers every time. If you're looking for delicious Indian food in LA at great prices with wonderful service, this is the place to go.

For starters, the service was phenomenal! Staff was warm and welcoming. I ordered the Masala Dosa and it was nostalgic. It reminded me of a dish my grandma used to make me when I was a little girl, absolutely delicious. I'm not normally in the area, but I also don't get to have a lot of Indian food and I'll definitely be back!

NAVRATAN KORMA! 10/10 I search for korma that I love in so many places across LA and finally found one I adore! Based solely on that dish I'll return! The bonus is that other dishes like their vada pav (Indian street food potato pancake sliders), samosas, and vindaloo are also super tasty. We came for my father's birthday as he enjoys a laid back celebration and were really pleased with everything. Even more of a bonus: the service was so lovely that even if the food wasn't as good as it had been we'd have had a great time! The owner (I think she's the owner) is so sweet, warm and charming that she really makes every guest feel special and welcome!

From the moment we walked by this restaurant the hostess was friendly and welcoming. That first impression carried on and lasted the entire time we were there. We tried the samosas, chicken biryani, kachumber salad, garlic naan, cheese naan, tikka masala's and 2 drinks for 96 dollars. The portions were a good size and the flavors were amazing. I dont have anything negative to say about this place and we will definitely be coming back!

I drove two hours just to eat here, and the food her did indeed help curb whatever hangry feelings were in the air. The food was delicious, and I have yet to be disappointed by Indian food. (I hope I did not jinx it.) I have a huge sweet tooth, so I'm glad I got to try two different desserts on my visit here. The table I sat at had me basically sitting on the floor, which was fun. The lighting is muted and made for a more romantic ambiance, if that is what you're interested in.

My family and I had a great opportunity to try this place as we were touring Glendale. Food - 5/5 The food is delicious! The quality of the food is top-notch. You can taste the seasonings, the delicate crunch of the appetizers. The nice soft, fluffy, warm garlic naan, paired with the butter chicken. You will leave happy here. Value - 3/5 I will give the value of the food a 3/5 purely because it felt like we didn't leave full. However, on the other hand, the quality of the food was FANTASTIC! With our party of 9, the appetizers were very small for how much they cost, so we had to order multiple. Even though they taste wonderful, I couldn't justify the pricing for it. Regardless, this is a minor thing for me because I'm a bigger guy. Service - 5/5 The service is impeccable! The waitress has done an ABSOLUTELY GREAT job n taking care of us. She has offered many recommendations along with being very attentive to our needs: water, napkins, and questions. The entire staff is employed by Middle Eastern Indians, which I loved to see. It felt like I was in India itself! SHOUTOUT TO......Pwetty? I am so sorry for butchering your name, BUT SHOUTOUT TO YOU AND YOUR AMAZING SERVICE! Ambiance - 5/5 The entire setting of the restaurant is beautiful. It has a very clean, modern, Indian-style aesthetic with paintings and a television casting Indian music videos throughout the night. It is a very nice place to have a date. Conclusion Overall, I am very confident in recommending this restaurant to anyone who wants an authentic taste of Indian food. Come hungry and leave happy, unless you're a big guy like me. You might need to order 2 entrees, ahaha.

Happy Mother's Day. We came for dinner and they were not busy at all since most mothers go out during the peak lunch hour period. The interior is spacious and the decorations are better that most Indian restaurants I've been to. We ordered the Chicken Vindaloo, white rice, and garlic naan. We asked for a spicy upgrade and was recommended medium spice. The food was pretty good and there was a lot of chicken and few vegetables in the serving. But next time we will stick with our favorite which is Chicken Tikka Masala.

I had a really bad time last year around this time. I gave this business another try and WOW. Everyone here is so nice and attentive, the meal for 2 option was so convenient, and the food was DELICIOUS. 10/10 this place has gotten better and is a need-to-try hot spot for authentic Indian food. If you don't know what to try, just ask!!

We just had the most amazing experience at this restaurant! The owner is so attentive and very informative about their options. The staff is so polite and we're always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was sooooooo amazing! I will never go to any other restaurant. There's no need. The food was perfectly season, spice was on point and the ice cream was the cherry on top. Homemade ginger, mango and pistachio ice cream. You won't regret coming here. Your only regret would be to NOT eat here!

Loved this place! I ordered takeout and got two of the lunch deals with palak tofu and butter chicken. The food is fresh and flavorful. This is a great deal if you're looking for a hearty portion for a good price. Love that there's so many vegan options (I am not vegan) so it is a very diverse menu. Upon pickup, the restaurant is cute, medium sized with decent tables. There's also a few outdoor seats. Overall, casual spot! Staff was straightforward and nice. Would definitely return if I'm in the area!

Summary: 5 stars for taste, service, and alcoholic drink options. Portions seem small for the price, but I still end up having a little bit of leftovers. *** I liked the darker ambience inside the restaurant. Service was great, from water refills to check ins and plate clearing. My bf and I visited a couple times at 5-6 pm before Brand Blvd gets crowded. If needed, the Public Parking structure on Orange St is free for the first 90 min. DRINKS ORDERED - Mango Lassi ($5.95). Fresh, thick, and mango forward. It's not as sweet as the mango lassi I've had from other places. I'd like to try the cocktail version next! - Maddalena Cabernet ($12 per glass). I don't remember much other than it being a smooth red blend that I enjoyed. - Dirty Chai ($13). This cocktail was strong and heavily spiced with a sticky sugar rim. I love it when things taste like potpurri, but I thought it was missing something. Perhaps a warmer spice profile? APPETIZERS ORDERED - Samosa. I got one during Dine LA and it was impressive: crispy, but not oily, and generously stuffed with fluffy potato and peas. The filling was deliciously savory. I preferred the garlicky mint chutney over the tart tamarind dipping sauce. - Aloo Tikki. We also tried this pan fried potato pancake during Dine LA. I was wowed by the umami flavor and fluffy texture. - Tandoori Wings ($9.95). Pretty good! The wings were tender and charred, served on bed of lettuce and topped with tasty pickled cauliflower. - Chicken Pakora ($9.95). The white meat chicken was so soft that I thought it was dark meat! I enjoyed the fragrant batter, which was between crispy and soft. I don't know how this wasn't oily either. The mint chutney does a lot of heavy lifting here; I preferred it again over the other sauce, which was a super sweet tomato chutney. ENTREES ORDERED - Lamb Frankie ($18.95). My bf ordered this and I took a bite of the frankie topped with creamy raita. Lamb isn't my favorite, but I still thought that was a good bite. The meat was not too gamey, and the inside was saucy without making the wrap soggy. I thought I could taste some sort of stone fruit flavor in the sauce. - Fish Jalfrezi ($18.95). There were mixed vegetables and pieces of soft white fish simmered in coconut yellow curry sauce. The mild curry was sweet, coconutty, and tomatoey. We would have licked the bowl clean if we weren't in public! - Shahi Paneer Thali (paneer in cashew red gravy). This was part of the Dine LA deal. For $35, we got 1 glass of wine, 1 appetizer, 1 thali combo, and 1 dessert. The red gravy was sweet, fruity, and umami, surrounding toothsome chunks of fresh squeaky paneer. Omg so good!!! I also enjoyed the lentils and the Kabuli Cholay (chickpeas). The Kheer (rice pudding) was served cold, but the "fiery" taste of cardamom shone through. It was not too sweet. The rice pudding was good, but I probably would have preferred it warm. - Vegetarian Thali ($18.95). I went for the Malai Kofta this time. The gravy was tomatoey, nutty, and had a hint of fruit from the raisin. While the sauce was bomb, I thought the potato and cheese balls were too dry and firm for my liking. The daily lentil had a vegetal, almost tea like flavor which was nice. I also enjoyed the warm spiced flavor of the chickpeas. Fluffy basmati rice soaked everything up. I decided to try the Kachumber; it was an herbaceous salad of cucumber, onion, and tomato. BREAD ORDERED - Garlic Naan ($3.50 side or $1 added to thali). This was really good. The flat parts of the naan were crusty, flaky, and crispy, but there were also pillowy and chewy bubbles of dough. I'm not sure if the naan was unleavened, but I thought it tasted yeasty and good. I appreciated the kiss of garlic on the naan rather than garlic overload. - Tandoori Roti ($1 added to thali). The roti reminded me of a whole wheat tortilla. Even thought it was slathered in butter, I couldn't taste much dairy flavor. I preferred the naan.

A truly special dining experience! We had such a wonderful time at All India Cafe -- not just because of the delicious food, but because of the incredible hospitality. The owner, Deep, welcomed us so warmly and took the time to share the background of the menu and her personal story. You can really feel the passion and heart she puts into everything here. The food was flavorful, authentic, and clearly made with love. Every dish we tried was amazing -- rich in spices, perfectly balanced, and comforting in the best way. But what really made the experience memorable was the way Deep made us feel like guests in her home rather than just customers in a restaurant. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for not only great Indian cuisine, but also a truly personal and heartwarming experience with a great ambiance ! We'll definitely be back!

All I can say is: GET THE GULABI FARFELLE! owner's father was an Italian chef before and it shows in this dish! Wow. Ate it 2 days ago and I've still been thinking about it. Can't wait to come back. The other dishes I tried were good too, especially the naan, not too doughy and the perfect crisp. But whew that pasta... so good.

First of all, I came here for the pani puri--it's tough to find outside of street fairs. We also had the vada pav sliders (fantastic!) and the idli. The lamb curry and chicken jalfrezi were delicious, and the cocktail menu offers a solid selection with their own unique spin. The space is lovely--clean, neatly decorated, and perfect for a date night. The staff were warm, patient, and genuinely attentive. The only small downside is the usual Glendale parking, but otherwise this place is a solid 10/10

This place is incredible It was my first time and my friend treated for my birthday every dish was absolutely delicious! The service and the ambiance is also wonderful I cannot wait to come back!!

Ever since we lost one of our nearby favorite Indian food restaurants, I have been hunting for a suitable replacement that isn't too much of a drive from Santa Clarita. When I noticed the good reviews All India Cafe got in Pasadena and saw there was one in Glendale, I was elated. We tried it this weekend, late afternoon (to avoid any crowds and get parking easily) and I am happy to say we like it a lot. First of all, it is bright and clean, decorated appropriately in the colors and ornaments that one expects from an authentic Indian place. It's cheerful and the staff are friendly. I loved the fact that I saw Indians eating there too. There are large screen TVs showing Bollywood entertainment (love that!) and the menu is vast and varied. My litmus test for a regular Indian restaurant is whether they have Masala Dosa and carrot Halwa. All India Cafe has both, as well as many other dishes. When I am new to a place, I start with a vegetarian thali. It comes with a dal, raita (cucumber and yogurt), rice, and a choice of two side dishes. I chose chickpeas and potatoes with cauliflower. My friends had other dishes including a jalfrezi vegetable and some in a korma sauce. We ordered garlic naan, which comes with the thali, and then appetizers of pakora and masala dosa. Some of us ordered hot chai tea and others had lemonade with ginger. Everything was very good. The tea and lemonade were bottomless, so refills came regularly. There was enough food to take some home. For dessert we shared the halwa and gulab jamon. All of this positive. I like the location on Brand, as I had lived and worked in Glendale and am very familiar with the main streets. If I come again, I am going to avoid the very confusing electronic metered head-in parking (it took 15 minutes of coins and cards over and over to even get a ticket to put in the dashboard -- frustrating and a waste of time). If you come, park on Louise -- there is always a free spot there in the late afternoon. What would I suggest to the owner to make this particular place meet the highest standards anywhere? The thali looks a little bare. There should be a better rice -- this may have been basmati but it just looks like boiled Uncle Ben's on the tray. The chai should be hotter -- they are generous with it, but keep it in a thermos so it does just become lukewarm by the end of the container. It is a bit on the high-priced side (but maybe that is everything nowadays -- can't fault them) so everything should be the very best it can be. I felt the masala dosa filling was also spare and dry. The sauces were good. The desserts were perfect. I liked All India, I want to love it next time.

If you're in the mood for Indian, look no further. Great service! Great food, convenient price range. Parking in back with back entrance too. Very cultural feel to it, they even have a few traditional floor seats, Bollywood music in the background. Now food!!! Highly recommend the pani puri shots, the butter chicken was fire especially with that garlic naan and safran rice. The samosas were not to my liking but my husband loved. It comes with two pieces pretty large in size. They have some alcohol, soft drinks and tea as well. Service was great, very personal and informative. Would definitely go back!!!

first of all, the food isn't even the star of the show, but the SERVICE is incredible. Both the server and the owner consistently checked in on us and were so incredibly kind, and the server has such amazing energy when giving us her recommendations (which she was absolutely spot on about btw!) Honestly 10/10 and so welcoming. The food only makes it better, with both the presentations and flavors being absolutely what you would expect from amazing indian cuisine! the appetizer Pani Puri Shots were SOOO GOOD and the presentation was beautiful. our final check after ordering around 5 items for two people came to around 50 dollars which is GREATTT for LA! We will definitely be back!

One of my fav spots for Indian food. It is probably a 4.5, and only goes down a notch because the consistency is not 100%. That might be a little unfair, but the service is so good and the people so nice it is impossible to say anything. Love to sit inside, outside you are removed from a lot of the elements and decorations. I visit every once in a while and it never disappoints.

The food is delicious and many vegan options are available. Lots of homemade recipes. Simbran snd Santos are so welcoming. Please try this restaurant... it won't disappoint.

I love this place. My husband and I went to India for our honeymoon and once a year we find an Indian restaurant. We love the Tandoori chicken, the chicken tikka masala, the garlic naan and of course the mango lassi. Service is fast and very friendly. We've sat down and done take out, and every year during Dine LA we always do a lunch take out.

Get the Malai kofta! It's creamy and good for vegetarians. The service is friendly and prompt.

This was my first time having Indian food and I absolutely loved it. Defiantly try their homemade pistachio ice cream.

Great Indian restaurant downtown Glendale. It's affordable, the food was great and the service was warm and efficient. Chicken tikka masala and butter chicken tasted very decent but identical to me. My wife and the waiter disagreed on the identical taste so I had to retreat and rest my case. I had Taj Mahal beer and wasnt a fan. The crunchy sphere things we had for appetizers were amazing!

This place did not do it for me. The tiki masala was pretty good. The malai kofta you can tell was just the balls with sauce poured over them vs them cooking in the sauce. Dry inside. Would not order biryani from here. Maybe their street food is better, but won't be a repeat for me to find out. They were very nice at pick up. Parking is a challenge.

Delicious and fresh food. Everything was so good and felt like eating authentic Indian home cooked meals. My favorite is the Biryani but the place is always packed and everyone seems to enjoy this cute little spot!

Nice mural when you walk in, All India cafe has an Indian food lovers dream there chicken tikka Marsala was the best dish I've tried yet it's very authentic. The service was great they served me quick and fast we only waited about 5 minutes and our food was ready we ordered the fun for 2 royal feast combo, it came with plain naan but if you want you can upgrade to garlic naan which is way better but it was still really good. The ambience of Indian culture was amazing they have beautiful Indian painting in the background they have panjabi music playing that soothes your ears.

A hidden gem! The food here is incredible and the service is always excellent. The street food menu really sets it apart from other Indian restaurants in the area, too.

I've been to this place many times and always had an excellent lunch :) It's never too crowded and the food comes out really fast. There's many options for vegetarians and I love how rich and full of spices the meals always are.

SERVICE - located near a section of restaurants and shops off of the main road - metered street parking in front - plenty of indoor and outdoor seating - servers come to table relatively quickly - food served when it is all ready - ambiance good for semi casual lunch or dinner MENU - variety of Indian appetizers and entrees - vegan and gluten free options - average price ($15 per entree) FOOD - kabuli cholay (5/10): spicy chickpea and tomato curry. This is a staple dish in most Indian restaurants and is a safe option for vegans. The portion is good for one person when ordering a side of rice or bread. The chickpeas were cooked and soft however the gravy was very runny. There could have been more spice and flavor. - saag tofu (6/10): puréed spinach with soft tofu chunks. I appreciated having a vegan version of the classic saag paneer. The spinach was very fresh but also could have used more spices. I would have liked more tofu cubes as there were about 5 small pieces in the entire dish. - onion naan (8/10): grilled yeasted flatbread stuffed with sautéed onions. I had not seen onion naan in many menus so wanted to try this one. The texture is more similar to a paratha as it is crispy on the outside. The portion is quite large and is good to split between two people. There is not a pungent onion flavor but rather a slight sweetness from the caramelization. - garlic naan (8/10): fluffy yeasted flatbread topped with minced garlic and cilantro. This is also a staple in any Indian restaurant and pairs well with any creamy dish. It was soft and good for soaking up the flavors of the chole. WOULD I GO BACK? If you are looking for reasonably priced and reliable Indian food, this is a great option.

We were originally going to go somewhere else nearby but decided to pop in here instead. Glad we did. We ordered Fish Tikka, Masala Sauce, Saffron Rice, Garlic Naan, Uttapam, and Paneer Jalfrezi. The fish tikka was perfectly grilled and seasoned, so it didn't need any sauce but the masala sauce managed to add something nonetheless. And I feel like this is a high compliment to the fish, as I spent last week on the Yucatán peninsula eating fish with almost every meal. This stacks up to every fish dish we had there. The paneer jalfrezi was also very well prepared with a great spice profile and really good veggies that blended in with the spices overall. Everyone inside was super friendly and helpful, it had a strong familial vibe despite us being first timers.

All India is my go-to Indian restaurant in Los Angeles. I love it! The food is always delicious, there is a wealth of vegan options, and the staff is some of the kindest I've ever encountered. Not to mention, they have these fun "lounge tables" where I can sit in my favorite position: criss cross applesauce. I can't believe I haven't written a review for this spot before, considering it is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The new street food options rock the house. The tofu jalfrezi is out of my dreams. The samosas are worth writing home about. If you're looking for Indian food in your area, All India cannot be beat.

The saffron martini was out of this world and so many vegan options made my heart happy. Excellent service and a great location. I will definitely be back!
