Me and my daughter went to the amazing bookstore today. This store and owner is a wonderful person, who made my daughter feel seen and safe. Plus the owner dog is super cute. This is a wonderful and safe space. Great quality books and kid friendly.

Highly recommend All She Wrote Books! Owner, Christina is a lovely human. I discovered the store on Instagram through a post promoting the Wedding Marathon event. My partner and I were honored to get married in the bright, beautiful, welcoming space. It is really a special place for community to gather and connect. We can’t wait to come back and explore the thoughtfully curated book selection! Shop local and support this wonderful gem in Somerville.

One of my favorite book stores near the Boston area! Their new location in Somerville is right off the Green line and a quick 4 min walk. Very inclusive, cozy and welcoming environment. The owner Christina and their staff does a great job at giving recommendations to people of all ages. I've been a loyal customer since 2020, and I've never been disappointed with the book selections available. If I can't find what I'm looking for, I can always ask to place an order through the store!

This is like my favorite book store in the Boston area. The vibes are great and the owner and the staff are always so welcoming. They're great at recommending books too if you don't know what you're looking for yet. They have a solid collection of queer and intersectional feminist books. The space is kind of small so the selection is a bit limited but they make great use of the space, and manage a good variety for the space they have. They also have a children's section which is great if you're looking for diverse books for kiddos. They have really great stickers to boot. They hold a bunch of different events from author talks to children's book readings to their summer pride book fair which is always a hit! Depending on the day, you might see Ruby around who is the bookstore corgi. She is nice to humans but a little territorial to other dogs and animals 😅 she's a herding/working dog so that makes sense she's fighting instinct there. Speaking of Ruby, the bookstore also has a membership that's called "A Friend of Ruby" (play on "friend of Dorothy"). I find it's very much worth the price if you like the store and see yourself coming back regularly Anyway, 100% worth a visit!

Google
A book store with a mission to curate and lift up diverse voices. Regardless whether or not you identify as queer and/or feminist, I highly recommend this book shop. The owner Christina was very friendly and made great recommendations. They also have book club events every month featuring feminist/queer authors and sometimes authors visit. Selection was highly curated and this month had a lot of independently published unique poetry books for poetry month. They even have a small corner of dog accessories in addition to a kids corner. Definitely worth a stop!

Google
Because the space is small, the selection is rather limited, but they make great use of the space and have a decent variety or queer/feminist books. There is also a little corgi that walks around sometimes that is very cute and well behaved (but does NOT like pets) so if you are allergic be aware, and if you aren't then DEFINITELY visit!!

Google
Fantastic bookstore! Giving four stars instead of five because I drove over an hour with my daughter just to shop here on a Monday and they are closed. I should have checked their hours first but assumed a store so close to Boston would be open every day. You should visit, but make sure to check their hours first.

Google
This book store is welcoming, cozy and fun! Even though it's small I was easily able to fill an hour looking at various titles - finding things on my list and new to me authors. The owner is very knowledgeable and accommodating. They have a line up of great events coming up that I can't wait to check out

Yelp
Writing about the relocation. A really cute space in a lived in neighborhood that is much Cozier than it's former environments at the assembly mall. The books are laid out cleanly and neatly. Stuff is super helpful. Ruby the dog is super cute and always willing to greet visitors!! Well curated and an invaluable resource for the community.

Yelp
This incredibly well-curated bookstore is complete with a knowledgable team and an adorable dog. I received great recommendations of books for my dad, my sister, and myself! Books that I wouldn't have stumbled upon on my own, but have been enjoying immensely! There are even fun stickers and cards for unique, affirming occasions. So grateful to have All She Wrote Books in our community!

Yelp
Beautiful store highlighting traditionally marginalized voices. Helpful staff who were happy to provide a recommendation based on a previous book I enjoyed. Feel good about supporting a local business!

Yelp
Great little bookstore with an eye towards diversity and inclusion. Broad selection including a section on children's literature. The sales associate Tim was helpful in recommending titles and even offered to order and ship a book that we had asked about but wasn't in stock.

Yelp
This place is great! A feminist bookstore that has all kinds of genres to make finding a book easy. This isn't just about white feminism, there are books written by & for POC which is huge that everyone should make it a point to read. They have something for everyone. The bookstore is in Assembly Row & it's a pretty good sized space. The also have various stickers & other tchotchkes. Supporting a woman owned business is important. So please stop w/ the amazon crap & support local LGBTQ+ folks.

Yelp
An excellent bookstore that is absolutely worth supporting before and after their upcoming move. Businesses like this help make the community feel like home.

Yelp
Popped in a few weeks ago when I was in the area. Feminist and Intersectional indie bookstore which is wonderful since we lost both New Words and Crone's Harvest among others years ago. Have also ordered from their website. Like the website the bookstore is very well curated with interesting selection of books both fiction and nonfiction, as well as children's books and games, including Middle Readers/YA and also some gift items. Will be returning and/or order as for my cousins as they age up for diverse books that are age appropriate. Salesperson was friendly, if you want to browse and do not have a mask (I did) they have a box at the door for you to take one. They also offer gift cards both in traditional and via e-mail format--actually they were out of the traditional/plastic gift cards on my visit--Pride month was busy for them (a good thing)..

Yelp
I felt singled out here for some reason. I brought my daughter to shop and while she looked i sat and waited with my son. After a while an employee came over to us and asked if we had masks or if we needed them. There were plenty more people there without them but only we were approached. Maybe we arent their ideal customers or they thought we were just hanging out but took my daughter and left.
