Frenchies Replaces La Boheme in Detroit’s West Village | Eater Detroit

"Welter is the owner of Things From Detroit, a gift shop located inside the former Parker Street Market space on the same block as the restaurant, and he often sees tour participants finish their visits hungry, which helped motivate opening a food option nearby." - Brenna Houck

Google
All things Detroit is a powerhouse of a store! Jennyfer Crawford is truly the Queen of Small Business and is truly a Amplifier and Advocate for small business owners. If you have a product that you want to sell look no further than All Things Detroit. IF you want to shop local and support local businesses, All things Detroit should be your absolute first stop!

Google

Yelp
My go to spot for local shopping. All Things Marketplace carries so my cool items to buy for yourself or even as gifts. The thing I like the most is that they are curated from small businesses. I picked up a cute handbag, a Detroit Riverfront Conservatory hoodie, some postcards, a giftable mini cup and some amazing smelling soap. All small businesses and right in the heart of Corktown. Follow on social media for updates on events and offerings. Tip: you can buy online for shipping to your home or pick up in store. It's great for those who like to shop online. Me included. Detroit Monopoly was my favorite online order. Pleasant staff. Lots to choose from with affordable pricing.

Yelp
This is my go-to local shop! Jennyfer, the owner, is incredibly kind and does so much for the community. I love the selection of clothes and accessories she offers. I've picked up several pieces representing all the teams from the D, and the quality is outstanding! If you're looking for sports gear in Corktown, this is a must-visit. Jennyfer is truly a trailblazer, especially for female-owned small businesses.

Yelp
Great Detroit merchandise to show your love for not only the city but local artists as well. They have unique items that you can't just find everywhere. Any and all questions you have can be answered and if something is out of stock they can even point you to the vendor that it's from. This is just priceless for a D Girl like me. I love that you can get unique pieces here and you won't see everyone in the world with your stuff on!

Yelp
I didn't see their phone number on Yelp or anywhere actually. Am I missing something here? They don't have a phone, only email. It's not easy to locate. It's on Trumbull. We went to pick up a few items. They ship 85% of their local vendors items are offered in the store. It's a small quaint space, packed with lots of fun stuff. Cute shop. I picked up a Tiger's coffee mug and a Vernors beer mug. Owner is super friendly.

Yelp
Celebrating Black History Month with Yelp! I attended Yelp's virtual event to support local business in Detroit. So many nice treats including clothing, candles, body care products and more! The concept really impressed me, sell items from local businesses...like Amazon, but on a smaller scale...and locally. A very nice event presented by Jennifyer Crawford Check them out: AllThingsMarketplace.com Thanks Annette for being a great hostess!

Yelp
Located in the new condo and storefront complex being built at the Old Tiger Stadium site. Limited pay street parking. I talked with the lady running it, the concept is Detroit centered and produced items, in particular black made items. She described it as a local amazon type internet buying site, where they ship. Detroit themed pint glasses, tees, hats, fun little things. The prices were a little high and the selection a little light. But the lady was nice and the stuff she had was nice.

Yelp
Love this store. What a fun place with so many Detroit treasures. Great clothing, jewelry, lotions and so much more. Definitely stop by next time you're in corktown.

Yelp
Cutest store!! Went in to get my Yelp Goodie Bag and left with some cool local goodies I purchased. This market sells items from local businesses so it's like a small business that is supporting other small businesses, which is awesome. While speaking with the owner Jennyfer, she shared that they also have a lot of pop-ups and you can learn more on the website. She is also super knowledgeable about the products and businesses at the store. She is also beyond friendly. This store and what they do is the exact reason we need to support small businesses! They are also a distribution center for small businesses. How awesome is that! Check them out. Buy local, support small businesses, and support black businesses.

Yelp
I'm so glad that Yelp has had pickups here for various events because I may not have known about All Things Marketplace otherwise! Everything in store is made by local artisans or businesses. They have an excellent selection of Detroit apparel for those of all ages. There are some gorgeous cards, jewelry, bath and body products, and snacks. Jennyfer is so kind and a wealth of knowledge! She has a passion for small business and does it well. There's some nearby lot parking and street parking. All Things Marketplace is a short walk from Corktown as well, right down the street from the train station. It's worth stopping in as they have something for everyone!

Yelp
Awesome little shop with handmade things from individuals all around Detroit! Unquie finds which is what I love.. Support small businesses! They also have pop up shops on the weekends of other small businesses around the area and they are always changing, Such a great idea! Support small businesses especially this holiday season! I also got to meet the owner when in and she was such a absolute sweetheart and you could tell this shop was her pride!

Yelp
I never knew about this place until recently, and had the chance to stop in to pick up my Yelp award that I had won at an event earlier this year. I am familiar with the area since it's located where the old Tiger Stadium used to be and it's in Corktown which has tons of great restaurants and some shopping located here as well. Pulling up, the building is shiny and new with a variety of shops and some limited parking available. I got there early since I wasn't sure how traffic would be with the I-75 construction going on, even on a Saturday. (it sucked as anyone would expect. I hate driving through expressway construction! LOL) Anyway they have a little doorbell to ring for someone to let you into the shop. It's also connected to Build Detroit which I had never heard of before. The store itself isn't huge, but has an awesome collection of items from local artists and locations to choose from. Things like magnets, socks, T-shirts, lotions and a bunch of other cool stuff. The gal that helped me was super fun to talk to and answered a few questions about some items that I had questions on. She also informed me that I can have items shipped to my home if I'm interested since it's about a 25 mile drive for me to go down to her store. She also does curbside pickup and is entirely touchless electronic with payment. I was grateful since I bought a few items while in her store to pickup my award. (I mean, it was March 13th, which is 313 day, aka Detroit's area code.) I would gladly stop in and shop here again after restaurants open back up and the weather gets nice. Not the biggest store I've ever been to, but clean, organized, fun and has a great selection of stuff to choose from. Go check it out, I'm really glad this place is open for business!

Yelp
A fun business located in the heart of Corktown! All locally sourced and procured products. There's nothing better than shopping small and keeping money within the community. An assortment of products ranging from greeting cards to candles to apparel to coasters to personal care products and more. Staff was beyond kind and gave us a great run down of the products in the shop. Items are available for purchase online and can be shipped or picked up in person.

Yelp
Cute and small store dedicated to black artists. Some nice tshirts, sweatshirts, and knitted caps for adults and kids alike. Also, purses and a variety of products. Purchased a really cool wristlet made out of cork that is super light and was reasonably priced. When in are will definitely check out again

Yelp
So much fun stuff!! The kids and I headed to All Things Marketplace to pick up a beautiful bouquet of flowers, fruit and chocolate that I won from an event Jennyfer did, sharing Lekker Choco Treats and the other great products at her location. Nikki had fancy popcorn and cheesecake set up on the day I went, so guess what I'm having for dessert?!? YUM! My daughter especially enjoyed picking out the great old-D earrings, a fantastic smelling Red Pop candle, and a bath brush she's looking forward to using in her next pampering bath. I was so busy taking it all in, I may need to make another trip back to shop for myself :) Thanks, Jennyfer, for having such a great collection of unique products, and a fabulous venue for small businesses to get some wonderful exposure!

Yelp
Just had an opportunity to pop in to all things marketplace. I found so many fun gifts for future birthdays. Lots of great local businesses are being highlighted there, it will be exciting to watch it grow as it is in a nice location right there at the old Comerica Park. I absolutely adore the skyline of Detroit mask I bought it is super Comfortable and everyone keeps complementing me on it.

Yelp
Love love this place! Friendly folks and well organized. I bought some face soap while there and it smells amazing. They have hand made soaps, Detroit tees, cups and mugs. They even carry CBD oils. If parking on the street, download Park Detroit and put a visit card on there. It'll save you from driving around looking for a parking space.

Yelp
Such a nice place. I did have a difficult time finding the location initially while driving. The white lettering on the door blends in with the white inside wall. But once I parked and got out my vehicle, I was able to find it. Jennyfer was the young lady who was there to tell me about this very niche store. She was extremely pleasant and informative. I love businesses that support others and important causes. I also really enjoyed the unique items for sale that local Detroit artists made. I did buy a few items that really sparked my interest and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Yelp
I visited today to pick up my goodie bag for the Yelpies. However, while inside I couldn't help but look around and purchase some black owned items. I will definitely be back and I have already told my friends to check this place out. Although the address indicates Michigan Ave the door is actually on Trumble. It's on the ground level of the new condos being built.

Yelp
If you are looking for Detroit memorabilia, this is the place to go. The selections are great and the artwork which feature up-and-coming Detroit artists Is fantastic. The staff are very Knowledgeable and professional

Yelp
So many local Detroit products in one place! This was a life saver for one stop holiday shopping. Not only did I leave with a bunch of cool and unique gifts (and a little something for myself), I felt good about spending my money with small local businesses (the marketplace itself is black woman owned and curated!). Great location in Corktown right off Trumbull, just look for the sidewalk sign. They even have an app you can shop on from home then quick pick up in the store. I think this may just be a holiday popup, but I'd love to see it become a year round thing. Stop in, get yourself something awesome, and support Detroit small businesses!

Yelp
This shop features lots of locals artists and even carries my favorite Michi-gummies (if you haven't tried them yet, run don't walk and get yourself a bag)! They had some Farmer Jack shirts and things that really took me back to my childhood. The woman working told me that the store started out at Eastern Market and moved to Corktown a year ago. I will definitely be coming back for gifts and picking up some things for myself too! Just so you know the address is Michigan Ave but the entrance is on Trumbell.

Yelp
Nice little shop in the heart of Corktown that features all locally made goodies. A great place to shop small and check off a gift list! The owner was super friendly and helpful. It was easy to park on Michigan Ave and walk around the corner. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Support local business! This place is awesome! They have a variety of beautiful items all locally made. The lady that works here is super helpful and offered a wealth of information about the items available and the business. I didn't catch her name but I'll update this review with her name the next time I go in because I'll definitely be back. I love the messages they have on the apparel and the overall optimistic vibe the entire shop radiates! Supporting local businesses proves vital to our community especially in the current pandemic. They offer shipping and curbside pickup online for those who'd prefer contactless shopping! There's no excuse not to shop here!

Yelp
What a great place. We got to stop in for a local yelp event. We haven't been to Detroit much since the shut down. It feels so different. It's so quiet. Parking is convenient. It made me sad to see some of my favorite corktown locations shut down. But this place was a beacon of hope for me that Detroit is still alive and well. This place originated in eastern market. They sell only local stuff. What a great way to support local companies. They need our help now more than ever! Even if you aren't in the area its worth the trip. They just opened this location so check their times on line! I wish I knew about this prior to Christmas! What great gift ideas.

Yelp
What a cute little shop! It is a perfect Marketplace for All Things Detroit. The shop is nestled among some promising new locations in Detroit on the former Tiger Stadium grounds. I saw the cutest Detroit themed t-shirts. Even better, the t-shirts were 25% off! The staff member was friendly and helpful. This shop is a little gem if you are looking for Detroit themed gifts. It is part of the city's revitalization. Support your small local businesses.

Yelp
Easy to find location, good directions in email to come off Trumbull instead of Michigan Avenue. The staff was was quick and efficient and friendly when picking up for Skrew 2020 event. Good social distancing and safety protocols in effect.

Yelp
Great variety of local goods like clothing, accessories, cards, candles, etc in a broad range of price points. The perfect place to shop for Detroit made items!

Yelp
These ladies working hard to get Detroit products to the masses. I came here to pick up my yelpies goodies, but also picked up this lovely lip balm and a sweet Detroit shirt. I wish they had my kiddos hat size, but it was nice to see that they had some kiddo products.
google avatar

Yelp
You all have to go check this spot out! It is going to be happening!!! I got a great old English "D" t shirt and a beautiful, funny card for my husband at great prices and supporting a small business!

Stephen F.

Yelp
Buyer beware!! All sales are final despite there being no information on the website or receipt. Don't bother with customer services cause nobody will pick up. Poorly ran operation with bad business ethics.

Yelp
I love the variety of Detroit merch and the price points are super affordable for the quality. Staff was helpful and prioritized COVID precautions. As a customer makes me feel great knowing I can support so many local businesses by shopping in one place!

Janice R.

Yelp
Love that the staff wear mask and they let you shop with no pressure very helpful and friendly. Love the cheesecakes, pound cakes and other things they have in the store. I can't wait for National All Things Day.
