Chicago’s best Italian beef sandwiches | Eater Chicago

"A new Lincoln Park deli and market debuted earlier this year, offering prepared foods, grab-and-go items, dips and spreads, and more. Owner Mitchell Abou Jamra, who also runs All Too Well’s neighboring restaurant Evette’s, pays tribute to his family and upbringing through a lineup of delectable sandwiches. The “Sheffield & Westwood” (named after streets Abou Jamra and his grandparents have lived on) is a Lebanese-influenced Italian beef that gets elevated with sumac giardiniera and crumbled pieces of ground beef kafta. It’s dipped in jus to finish. Online ordering is available here." - Eater Staff

Awesome sandwich - I stopped by at lunch when I was craving something with a panini crunch and wanted to get out of the loop lunchtime rut (potbellies and overpriced salads on repeat). Super excited to find a spot with creative and well crafted sandwich options to add to my lunch rotation! I went for the Bombay Chulet and it was SO good. Perfect mix of savory spices / sauces and a hint of sweetness from the fig jam. Absolute perfection with the crispiest crust. The sirens call of Stracciatella on a crispy panini cannot be ignored... 10/10. It was pretty busy right around the lunch rush (12:15ish) but they moved super quickly with in person and takeout orders (waited like 5 min tops), so kudos to the staff for managing through food hall chaos. Sandwich held up well for the trek back to the office. Sure, in the abstract it is a little pricey for a sandwich (chips should prob be included IMO because they're basically air)... but the prices are ABSOLUTELY comparable with other lunch options in the Loop. Dare I say a much better value for the $$?? Its clear that the ingredients are top notch/locally sourced, and probably way more expensive than whatever is going into my $16 Big Corporate Salad Company order. Excited to come back and try more options on the menu!

A sandwich, chips, and a can of water was $25 before tip. 😨 The food was good, but not $16 per sandwich good! I would expect to see that in a full-service restaurant, but counter service? $3 for a can of water‽ And for a small bag of chips‽ I'm trying to understand where the expense is coming from. Is the owner buying their chips and drinks at full retail and then marking them up? Absurd prices for mid quality.

Tried the vegetarian sandwich. The beet pesto was so good and the bread was fantastic. Really comfortable and clean food hall, too.

Great service and attitude. Really take pride in their Sammie’s and the authenticity in the work and preparation behind their unique Sammie’s. Such good bread and high quality meat. The CK1 is the bomb! Highly suggest trying them out, it’s worth it!

I had the Sebastian which was really good. The amount of food was def worth the price. I wish the bread was toasted a bit more, but otherwise it was a good sandwich and I def go there again.

Unreal toast on the bread. What a crunch. Creamy avocado really complimented the sharpness of the cheese. “I would eat this everyday” -my boyfriend “Can I eat your scraps” - also my boyfriend

Inventive and slightly up scale menu choices. Crafty names. Good alternative to fast food subs . Toasting is a nice touch 👌🏽

Yelp
I went to the food hall with coworkers and everyone ended up ordering All Too Well. Everyone got a different sandwich and loved it. The sandwiches are super unique with things like spicy fig jam, shaved lamb, and pickled raisins. The bread was extremely fresh and the perfect level of crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The sandwiches are made to order and are relatively quick. The one downside is how expensive the sandwiches are. Mine ended up coming out to about $18 after tax.

Yelp
I love food halls and this one in Chicago has a ton of great, varied eats! I tried All Too Well (not affiliated with Taylor Swift) and I need to come back! Friendly staff and the sandwiches are made right in front of you! This charming sandwich shop is convenient to the Monroe Station on the red line and is in the heart of the loop. I ordered the Bombay Chulet, which I was told is a fan favorite. The bread was crispy, crunch, and soft. All in one bite! The turkey was juicy, the arugula was fresh, and the spicy fig jam was delectable! The textures and flavors were all there! Now, I say I must come back because of this punch card! I had a hard time choosing my sandwich here because they all looked very interesting and delightful! This isn't your typical sandwich shop! I'll be back because of the punch card, got to try them all!

Yelp
We love the LP location so we were happy to see a location in the loop. The sandwiches are $16 and chips are $3 but we love the Oh Yeah! so much that it was worth coming in from the Chicago cold to enjoy a warm sandwich. Service was fast and friendly!

Yelp
An already great food hall with unique options finally gets All Too Well. A delightful shop that has the greatest sandwich in the history of the universe lovingly known as ... I Make You Lamb. I will go to the mat to defend that statement. It must be experienced.
