All'antico Vinaio Music Row - Review - Music Row - Nashville - The Infatuation

"The Music Row location of All’antico has many of the same offerings as its Gulch counterpart, but with closer proximity to Vandy. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

We got here before it got busy. It was pretty good. If you like a drier type sandwich definitely for you. They have saucier options ofc. I got the la district and hubs got la summer. I’ll definitely order different next time. Mine wasn’t bad it’s just not for me. I went with a suggestion and should have went another direction.

Incredible sandwiches. I got the La Favolosa and it blew my mind. The staff is very thoughtful and told me all about how the bread, vegetables, cheese, and meat is authentic and fresh. Got a free sandwich on opening day. Will definitely be back to try the rest on the menu!

Yummy sandwiches with fresh ingredients! Not sure if it’s worth $20 a sandwich but they are big enjoy to split between two people. Glad we tried it!!

This Italian Sandwich shop was recommended by my brother-in-law who lives in Nashville so I thought I would give it a try. I drove to the restaurant location and was quickly irritated with the fact that in Nashville, there is literally nowhere you can park for free, even to pick up a simple sandwich. I first started to park at a PMC parking location and there was a minimum $15 charge for parking which I was not about to pay to park for 15 minutes. I circled the block several times and finally settled on parking through ParkSmart which was much more reasonable and was able to park 30 minutes for $1.73. They do put a $20 hold on your card but should get that back. Now to the sandwich shop. It was a typical deli setting with a few tables for sitting. As you walk down the line to order, you are treated to the display case with a few of the meats, cheeses, sauces and toppings available for the sandwiches. The first thing that stood out is that most of the sandwiches were priced in the $18 to $25 range and could increasingly go up by $3 per adding topping. This was very pricey to me, especially for the cost of add-ons. Still, I got two sandwiches, the New Yorker and the Venice Beach. The Venice Beach I took to my daughter at work so didn’t get to try it but she said it was very good. Now for around $20, the sandwiches were good size. One sandwich can feed two people unless you are really hungry. The New Yorker was very tasty but what stood out was the bread. This was some of the best bread I’ve tasted. The sandwich is cold meats but the do warm the bread but I was taking mine home so didn’t get to enjoy that. The service was a little slow considering it wasn’t super busy inside but it was a reasonable wait. While the price of the sandwiches are pretty expensive, for most people you can get two meals out of one sandwich. So, if you look at it from that perspective, that’s about the price of a sandwich from anywhere else. This is definitely a place I will return to and try the many other delicious looking sandwiches they have on their menu.

Really wanted to love this place, had heard great things about it and always saw a line out the door. When I went they weren't busy and I was able to order immediately. The staff was standoffish and not very welcoming. Even though there was an "order here" sign, we thought we were doing something wrong because no one greeted us, despite the fact that there were three workers behind the counter. We got two different sandwiches, the L.A. Fadeaway and the La Favolosa. The "spicy" toppings on the L.A. Fadeaway were flavorless (sorry, but true), and there was only a sprinkle of arugula. The Favolosa did taste better, but there was barely anything on it (pictured). It was just super disappointing paying $50 for two sandwiches that left us still hungry. I honestly would not recommend this place, extremely overhyped. Too expensive for what you get!

Google
Visited the new place on Broadway recently. The line was out the door, but moved so quickly. Ordered the Venice Beach with avocado. I was not prepared for how delicious this sandwich was! The bread was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had!! The service was perfect! The staff absolutely knew what they were doing! Definitely will go back!!

Google
Visited for the first time and we were a little underwhelmed. we waited in a line out the door for a mediocre sandwich with ok service. set up was confusing on how to order and you have to wait awkwardly for your sandwich after paying. The people making the sandwiches behind the counter were very friendly and fast but the girl behind the register was very rude, barely said a word which was off-putting. Also they had a lack of actual menus around, only the names and prices of on the wall which is not helpful if you dont know whats in it. Bread was good but overpowered all three of the different sandwiches we tried. Definitely not worth a $20 sandwich for the small amount of meat/toppings.

Google
A fantastic restaurant. We had lunch at the one in the Gulch and enjoyed it so much we went to this location on Broadway to get sandwiches for dinner. We drove from the Knoxville area to try this restaurant out and we were not disappointed! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was excellent. We can't wait to go back! Great food and a great all around experience!

Yelp
Probably the best sandwich I've ever had. The Regina. Props to the staff K-mo and Sam for making a killer sandwich and caring enough to ask how it was!

Yelp
Excellent service! Interior very clean. Way more tables than I anticipated inside. About 6 outside. Suggest off street parking for the better deal bs a paid lot. Great sandwiches! They are big enough to split but it's better to have a half for later! We got the Philly special - provolone cream, red peppers, arugula and the most perfect roast beef. Also the Summer - prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, and tomato. We would ask for a drizzle of balsamic next time. Highly recommend

Yelp
Cute little sandwich shop! Only has a couple of people working, so your food takes a little bit to come out but it moves fast! They have 3 vegetarian options, 1 being the classic caprese and two others being similar sandwiches with grilled vegetables, cheeses, and a spread. I liked the bread, but wished it was fresh out of the oven. I could tell it was sitting out for a little bit since it was a touch dry. I tried The Broadway. The fillings of the sandwich were good, but the pistachio spread was really rich and could have benefitted from balsamic vinegar or something acidic to cut through it. I liked the grilled eggplant, but the skins were a touch bitter. The quantity was large and sufficient for two meals!

Yelp
Wow ok I get it yall!! This place is soooo good. Had some friends from Florence recommend this place as it came from there originally and I had to try it here since the ones in LA and NY have crazy lines still. The only 2 things to know: The charge will for some reason show up as tootsies orchid lounge. For a second I thought I got hacked and my cc was being used. Not sure why but the time and the amount line up. Looks like they need to figure something out. The bread while so yummy will scratch your mouth and tear it up like crazy. Maybe it's a me problem but it's been days and my mouth still hurts from eating this Sando. Kind of worth it though.

Yelp
We went on opening day. I didn't notice any problems or glitches. My friends and I got different sandwiches, and they were all quite good. AmaIng bread, just like the sandwich shop in Florence, Italy. They do load on the meats. (They evidently ran out later in the day, according to a review.) Service was perfect. Very entertaining, as well as efficient. There are seats inside and on their patio, making for a nice ambiance. The wine offerings look good, as well. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Italian Sandwiches come to Nashville. The ingredients here are fresh, and your sandwiches are made right in front of you. The bread is really special here. But the sandwiches are super rich. It's best to order one sandwich to share. The staff are friendly and they allow you to easily add ingredients to your sandwich. I added sun dried tomatoes to my sandwich, the Dante. Simple decor and seating for about 40 people.

Yelp
Amazing sandwiches, while it is a little pricey it is plenty of food for two meals or to split! Service was fast and while there was a line it took us no time at all to get our order placed.

Yelp
Genuinely the best sandwich (La Broadway) I've eaten in Nashville. I came after hearing about it on social media. The food came within minutes and was plentiful. Each sandwich half was as big as my hand, and I was full after one half. The sandwich was moist and filling, and the focaccia bread was good. I came on a weekday around 3 pm with no wait time. I am looking forward to coming back. Bathrooms (single stall) were very clean. There is parking outside.

Yelp
Great concept but the hype did not match. Staff was robotic. Asked to have the sandwich cut in 4 and was told "I can't" there were no customers in line and they already cut in 2. It took her longer to say I can't than the nano second to cut it. I had ready paid and given the staff a 22% tip, which I regretted. The Venice needed some salt, acid and fat like sea salt, pesto, mustard, mayo as mozzarella and tomatoes were flavorless. Turkey was tasty but dry. The Paradiso was had quality ingredients that did not agree with me. For the $50 spent it was not the experience looking for.

Yelp
Delicious sandwiches, fresh ingredients. We got one sandwich - the la favolosa to share and thankful we did because it was more than enough food for two. They were generous with the cheese and artichoke spread. The worker was nice and added on arugula too. Nice new restaurant with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Paid parking in attached lot.

Yelp
So exited that I get to taste a little bit of authentic Italian sandwiches in Nashville TN. I've been following them since my trip to NYC. These sandwiches come packing full of flavor and texture and ooooey goodness. You can't go wrong with any sandwiches-while the bread is cooked fresh and anything with the truffle cream is chefs kiss! They carry different Italian meats and sliced in front of you while they prepare your meal. Love the small bodega vibe and how everything is right in front of your eyes! You can get a simple sandwich with Prosciutto toscano, pecorino toscano, truffle cream, or something paired with the spicy eggplant! Won't disappoint! Sandwich is gigantic to be shared four ways with friends.

Yelp
Went on a Monday around noon and there was a decent line of about 20 people. Had the La Dante and added sun-dried tomatoes which was solid overall. There was not as much meat as I had seen in other photos and less than I expected for $18. The person making my sandwich put way too much truffle sauce, so had to wipe some off. Not a huge fan and it's rich/little much. Otherwise bread and ingredients were really good.

Yelp
AMAZING! So so good and super fast. The staff are very friendly and helpful at offering suggestions

Yelp
I've been to the one in Florence and while this doesn't compare to eating the fresh sandwiches in Italy, it's pretty darn close. It takes maybe 7-8 minutes for them to make your sandwiches, and the focaccia is warm and still crispy. They are expensive but the portions are generous. I want to leave it 5 stars for the district sandwich, but the other one we got (dolcezze dautunno) was not good. The district was PHENOMENAL! The interplay of the creamy pecorino, the salty pancetta, and the fresh bitter arugula was to die for. However the dolcezze dautunno was almost inedible for us. The Lardo is this white meat that has the texture of raw chicken and tastes like pure fat. I had to take out the meat to finish it. The honey and truffle are good, but even then, it was so rich. It could use something fresh to cut through. If you come I would definitely go for the more exciting sandwiches (the ones with the pecorino cream, pistachio, truffle, etc), as that's where they shine!

Yelp
Wow!! I've been on the hunt for some delicious food since moving here from LA (RIP good food). This place is delicious!! Beyond the fresh ingredients, the employees are so sweet! Samantha made the experience so great!! So glad I can start my short list of yummy food! It also has plenty of seats, lively music and a chill atmosphere.

Mackenzie M.

Yelp
My girl Samantha hooked me up!! I loved sitting and chatting with her while she made my sandwich. I got the la favolosa and that shit made my taste buds dance like it was no tomorrow 10/10

Yelp
The La District and the Caprese sandwiches were delicious. The ingredients were fresh. Will definitely return.

Yelp
So pumped they opened two locations in Nashville! A true Italian sandwich spot! I'd highly recommend the la toscana. We love coming here!
google avatar

Alexander D.

Yelp
Nashville has a shortage of these types of places. Focaccia was light on the stomach and truffle sauce was dank on the La Dante

Yelp
Do Not Eat Here. See my pictures below of what real All'Antico sandwiches should look like form Italy. If you can't do it right don't do it At All!!! How can you ruin such a great sandwich. These are not the original recipes. They have made these versions as cheap as possible while charging an astronomical price. Ate at both locations in Nashville to try them and will never go back. They were both out of Burrata and we were the first people in line when they opened. Poor management and the sandwich makers didn't even know what was supposed to go on the sandwiches. We had to show them the menu - because they left out ingredients. Do Not Waist your time or money. See my pictures below of what real All'Antico sandwiches should look like.

Yelp
Food is amazing. Great service as you're waiting in line they give out free tasting of the bread or meats. Service could be more organized & could be better. Like when you order they give a number to call out for you when ready, vs now when ordering it's a little chaos, bc the sandwiches can get done & no one knows who sandwich it's for. They just yell out the sandwich, but what if 3 ppl ordered the same sandwich. Just saying it could be a little more organized. Also there's not a lot of seating. Ppls finish but hang out at the table & the restaurant doesn't enforce any rules in that. So we ended up having to leave.

Annie A.

Yelp
I love this place so much! Everything I've had here is so tasty. My favorite is the LaDante. The bread really does make the sandwich! Also the best worker here is Kelli she is extremely attentive and here to help!

Yelp
All'Antico is the most famous sandwich in Florence, Italy. The chef making the sandwiches is from Florence. When I was in Florence, the lines stretched around the block for hours. I ordered the L'inferno sandwich. When he cut open the focaccia steam poured out it was so fresh. The sandwich was stuffed with fresh pork, eggplant, ndjua, and a hot pepper spread. It weighed at least 2 pounds. It was so good, delicious, and filling. The price was$20, but worth every cent. The best Italian sandwich in Tennessee by far. Trust this NY Italian, there is no place better.

Derek R.

Yelp
Amazing service and sandwiches are incredible! Not a bad option on the menu, two wonderful locations to choose from in midtown and the gulch
google avatar

Yelp
This was my first time in and I came 20 minutes till closing. Was a little afraid of showing up like this. To my surprise Cami helped me out and did a fantastic job suggesting The Hot Italian sub. Not only was the sandwich a 10/10, but her customer service is the reason I will continue to come back and support this business!! Cami deserves a raise!!

Yelp
The Venice Beach was out of this world . Best sandwich I have had in a while!! I recommend this place for sure . They were so nice taking orders. Very clean

Adam M.

Yelp
Amazing sandwiches and incredible service! The place was spotless and everyone was so friendly. Definitely a must-visit in Nashville!"

Kim N.

Yelp
A great sandwich shop! It has been quite busy since the opening but the focaccia bread was amazing. It's what makes the sandwich. It had a perfect crunchy and fluffy consistency. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. I've visited a few times to try various sandwiches and they all offer unique flavors that haven't been seen in Nashville yet. My personal favorite was la paradiso but you can't go wrong with any of them. The sandwiches are pretty big so you can definitely share. I'd recommend checking it out for yourself.

Tim I.

Yelp
Only slightly pricey, very large Custom sandwich. I can see why they are popular in their own country of Italy.
google avatar

Robert K.

Yelp
Best sandwiches in the world and amazing service! Italian hot is so good, highly recommend!

Judy S.

Yelp
Delicious! Just like the sandwich shop in Florence. Sandwiches are big - so you can save for later or share with a friend.

Dan C.

Yelp
The staff was very pleasant and made me exactly what I wanted in a timely manner. Fantastic service and food!

Mike L.

Yelp
Just went there for dinner. Wasn't bad. They have opening day jitters but they will work them out. Sandwich was pretty good. Look forward to trying others besides the Boss that I had.

M J.

Yelp
Hit this spot for lunch on our last day in Nashville and so glad we did. I had the Venice and my spouse had the daily special hot Italian. Sandwiches were huge and one of the best I've ever had. The seasoning was perfect and the bread was amazing. They sliced the meats fresh for every sandwich and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend - and I'm not a huge sandwich fan!

Kelly S.

Yelp
From the service at the front door to the counter ordering my sandwich was perfection! Hands down the best GF bread I have ever had and trust me I have tried them all!

Daniel V.

Yelp
Just as good as the original in Florence. Kudos to Tomaso the manager for great work.
