This place is so good. I sort of came in on a whim but saw pics so had to try it. It didn’t disappoint. The summer with jamon and tomato was simple and delicious. The mortadella with pistachio cream and straccitella was brilliant. Will defo be back. Service was very nice and just counter seating. I’d recommend sharing one sandwich for 2 ppl but depends how hungry you are.

Google
Just as good as the original with awesome people working here. So glad we've got All'Antico in New York now. The New Yorker is always a hit. I get it with extra beef. Tried their lamb special and wow the peppers really make the sandwich pop. The bread is so airy and crispy. Some of the best sandwiches in the city

Google
One of the best sandwiches I ever had. Bread was extremely fresh / still hot. Had the Broadway with burrata, pistachio paste, grilled zucchini, sundried tomatoes and arugula. Wasn’t too busy despite weekend around noon.

Google
I have bern wanting to try this place for a while, and when I passed by this place before the lunch rush, I took my chance without a line. I opted for La Paradiso because I must have anything involving pistachio cream. It was delicious...okay, it was a little flat for me. S little arugula? Something acidic or briney in there to break up the decadence of the pistachio cream and ricotta? The bread is delicious. Again, everything was...but I wanted to stop eating after about a quarter of the sandwich.

Google
I wouldn’t say it was on the same level as the sandwiches in Italy but it came pretty close. Their bread is soft with a crispy exterior, not too thick. Their spreads are creamy perfect for cutting the saltiness of the meat. The Favolosa and the la Dante were both really yummy. I would go for la Dante for a fresher, lighter sandwich and the favolosa for a creamier and more unique flavorful sandwich. Prices are ~$20 per sandwich. It’s pretty strep but the sandwiches are pretty big and it is West 4th. Would definitely come back

Google
We wanted sandwiches and randomly found this place. The guys working were so friendly and helpful as we couldn't decide what to order. They also made our food pretty quickly! The sandwiches are huge and we definitely could have split one, but they kept well in the fridge and made a great lunch for the next day. Highly, highly recommend this place if you're in Greenwich Village and in the mood for a sandwich!

Google
Really disappointed by the sandwich I got. Ordered L’Inferno. The focaccia was not warm and the bottom was burned. It was hard to chew. I barely finished half of the sandwich. I have been to Florence twice and this was my go to sandwich shop. They have several stores in NYC. The serving though was larger than what they serve in Florence. I guess the original is always the best.

Google
this place is good and the people are nice, but The workers need to Stop pretending like this is the most authentic Italian place in the World. I tried to add meat or cheese to my sandwich and they refuse to Cause they think it ruins the culture of the sandwich when these are literally not classic sandwiches and are completely made Up fast food, Italian chain. I just think it’s funny and there’s such a double standard with Italian places that refuse to make things the way you want it Even if you pay the price. this applies to all All’ Anticos by the way. You never find any other culture pulling this move.

Yelp
I recently purchased three sandwiches to mix and match with the hubs. First of all, the takeout service is friendly and prompt. I went at an off time, around 5pm, and there was only one couple ordering ahead of me. In general, the bread is bomb, and it puts All'Antico Vinaio on another level. The challenge is figuring out what combination of ingredients works for you. Of the creations we tried, La Paradiso was best. Even if you're not a major pistachio fan, the flavors are balanced and play well off each other. We also liked (not loved) the vegetarian La Broadway. The veggies were fresh and plentiful. It's the exact opposite of La Schiaciatta del Boss, which I thought was too decadent. I love myself some rich prosciutto, umami-laden truffle cream, and a nice, earthy slice of pecorino-- but as it turns out, they are too much together. I removed the pecorino (for later consumption) and thought it was great. I know others will disagree, and power to those who can handle the richness, but this is a warning to people whose palettes may be more in line with mine. All this to say that I would definitely return and customize my own sandwich, now that I've tried a range of offerings. Solid recommend.

Yelp
Honestly, it's a big sandwich in size-enough for two people!, but a bit skimpy on the roast beef. For $19 I'd rather a smaller size with a better quantity of beef. Nonetheless, a tasty sandwich with quality ingredients and great bread. Would have been better toasted though. I should have asked if they did that . Super friendly staff and helpful. Place could have a few tables though instead of the wall seating, totally enough room for it and it could change the vibe a bit. Overall, good place

Yelp
These sandwiches! I mean what the hell! Huge! Delicious! The staff is amazing and hooked it up!! I've seen people stand in line for this place in midtown I think and I didn't understand why, but after tasting the Sammies now I do lol. I probably won't stand in line bc I hate doing that but.. I get it!! Try it. Even if once. They're delish and they have a lot of options! Something for everyone :)

Yelp
I was very happy to eat this sandwich. You will be happy to eat this sandwich. And while I can't say for sure how you're going to feel otherwise, if you're an uncouth American like me, you may also think that there wasn't enough meat in it. I rolled with the Paradiso, which is mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio cream, pistachio crumbles, all layered on basically an entire loaf of Tuscan schiacciata bread (a little thinner and more crisp, but not far off focaccia). All the ingredients are excellent quality. The bread is noticeably fresh, the meat freshly sliced, the cheese so creamy. The shop is cute, and the staff was super nice, and clearly took great care in preparing the sandwich. Again, I'm glad I was eating the sandwich. But I live in a world where one or two layers of meat on an Italian sandwich is unacceptable. I need more protein in my life than this, especially for $20. It tastes good, but the ratios are off. Too much bread for this amount of meat. And while it's not nice to compare, Faicco's is right down the street, and they put like three inches of meat on a hero (entirely too much, and what she said). With them on the left, and All'Antico on the right, I just feel like this country is too divided right now, and we need to meet in the middle.

Yelp
The schiacciata del boss was pretty nice. I'm not entirely sure I love that everything is served on such thick focaccia, as it makes it a little hard to eat. I wish at least it were cut into halves or quarters, which I ended up doing, as it certainly cannot be eaten in the whole loaf that it is served in. The meat was really nice and I'm never not going to love a combination of cheese on truffle. Would consider coming back to try some of their other options.

Yelp
I was REALLLLLY looking forward to this place and the sandwiches. Let me start by saying the service was EXCELLENT, they gave us samples of bread and cheese while we waited. And they even kindly split the 2 sandwiches in 3 piece each (there were 3 of us). We split the pork pistachio cream one and the truffle honey salami one. I thought I would LOVE the pork pistachio one, but there was very little meat in my 3rd of a sandwich and it just lacked flavor. I preferred the salami one, though the bread was very sticky from the honey. I would have loved to have tried the mortadella sandwich too. I will definitely try it again, I just think either they (or me!) were off that day. Bummer.

Yelp
What can I say, if you are looking for delicious sandwiches downtown these are them. They have such crazy ideas that taste fantastic. They have "creams" that are perfect, they are used instead of mayos and mustard. I had a Gorgonzola cream and it was mouth watering. I would make that at home. Their bread comes out hot! Run here!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious We had 2 sandwiches both excellent the manager was awesome and told us about the restaurant we've been to Firenze and it was just as good !

Yelp
My go-to spot when I have classes on NYU main campus. The price is on the higher end, ranging from $18-21, but the portion can feed me 2.5 meals. They offer 10% discount for NYU students, so it is overall a good deal. Homey and friendly service -- they treated me fresh warm foccacia and prosciutto sample when I visited the last few times! * La Schiacciata di Manlo A combination of all my fav food: prosciutto, mozzarella, truffle cream and spicy eggplant. Their foccacia bread is always a spot on, while the truffle cream levels up the flavor profile.

Yelp
I found All'Antico Vinaio on TikTok and I knew I had to stop by while in NYC! Service was quick and kind, I asked what their most popular sandwich was and was told it was the La Paradiso. I'm not a big pistachio girl, I don't eat them often, but I trusted their suggestion and I'm SO glad I did! The La Paradiso was the tastiest sandwich I've ever had. I'd say the pistachio and pistachio cream are more like a pesto and a butter - I would take a jar of the two back home if they sold it. Ambiance is welcoming and cozy. It's a small place and lunch rush hour can get a bit crazy. My colleagues and I got in just in time to get some seating near a window. Get there early if you want a seat! All'Antico Vinaio, I love you. Your sandwiches are so damn good and I can't wait until I can visit again.

Yelp
Who knew that you could have a great business model around using incredible ingredient and being creative around how they come together. All'Antico Vinaio knew. So I decided to visit the location near NYU during their winter break to avoid the crowd and boy was it a good move. I went in and was second in line. Still took about 5 minutes before I could order but who's keep track of time anyways. Oh wait I am. But I actually needed the time to figure out what I was going to order and then how I was going to order it as I had no idea how to pronounce schiacciata. So when I came up to the register I said I wanted the Del Boss, which is the second half of the La Schiacciata Del Boss sandwich. Then the cashier jokingly ask me to tell him the full name of the sandwich. Well however it's pronounced, it was good. It comes with Prosciutto toscano, pecorino toscano, and truffle cream. The sandwich comes together well with its limited ingredients. I tasted the prosciutto alone and it was some of the best I've ever had. It was soft and buttery. My only complaint is that they give you a paper thin layer of prosciutto that the strong taste of the Pecorino dominates the experience. You have to let your best ingredient shine and the prosciutto was by far the best part of the sandwich. Regardless it was a good sandwich. Also the look and feel of the restaurant itself was ok. It's always nice to be able to see them prepare your sandwich but not sure if the ambiance transports me to Toscany. Matter of fact I can judge in that regard because I've never been to Italy which is one of my two dream places I would like to visit. Overall good experience and I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I cannot believe they brought this sandwich spot from Firenze to New York. It costs almost twice as much and doesn't contain many the spreads which Florence had to offer. The end result, however, was still delightful. One thing to note: They're not stingy with their portions. I ordered the La Favolosa, removed the eggplant, subbed the Stracciatella instead of pecorino cream. In Florence, they offer a red pepper spread which ties everything together. Anyhow, I could not finish my sandwich and realized the hubby and I could have shared by requesting them to slice it in half. We went in the afternoon on a Sunday and it wasn't as busy as it always is in Florence. All in all, I enjoyed the sandwich as it took my back to our trip in Italy. Prego!
google avatar

Bonnie T.

Yelp
Delicious sandwiches that you come in to thinking you'll surely save the other half for later but after you've finished the first half you wonder why you kidded yourself and dive into the second half. I particularly like the bread here, as it's crunchy on the outside and a little softer in the inside. When a sandwiches bread scratches the roof of my mouth sometimes I feel that it's ruined the goodness of a sandwich for me and deters me from ordering them in general but I do not have that problem here at all! Friendly staff, super clean establishment with minimal bar-like seating stationed out the window. The sandwiches themselves run a little pricey for what they have to offer (minimal ingredients), but the quality of the sandwich is good-fresh, crunchy, flavorful, etc. There's also a little bench right outside you can enjoy your sandwich if you're hungry and looking for some fresh air. You can always take your meal up to the park down the street or go the other way and sit amongst the plethora of public seating available on the corner of Bleeker and Sullivan. Will be back to try other options the next time the temp rises above 73!

Yelp
Holy smokes, i feel like i was today years old when i found the meaning of sandwich. [] La Paradiso 1000/10 Fresh stracciatella, hefty slices of mortadella, (added) arugula, nutty pistachio cream tucked between 2 perfectly thin and crispy pieces of focaccia bread. seems so simple yet so freaking tasty where each bite is a flavor bomb of sweet and savory white getting crunch for texture as well. The workers there are super sweet and offered me samples of their variety of spreads like truffle! Each sandwich is around $20 but is actually the size of my head so it can definitely be split among two meals or be extra hungry. Trust me. Beware of eating it all in one seating. Speaking for a friend btw.
google avatar

Chin T.

Yelp
The staffs were friendly. They just had their grand opening in NYC all the way from Italy. The sandwiches are mostly priced at $20, they are delicious by the way! We ordered La Paradiso (for those who love pistachio for $18), La Schiacciata Del Boss, and bresaola meat is the special which tasted delicious! Would highly recommend! There are some seating area to eat or you can stand.
google avatar

Terry C.

Yelp
Such a great sandwich place! You order up on the counter and I could see the frsh focaccias steaming as they cut it!! Everything was super fresh and delicious! I ordered 2 and shared with another friend thinking we could finish both because we eat alot! It was so much food we could each only eat half! I got 2 things La Paradiso and Del Boss. Del Boss is definitely stronger flavor with hard cheese and truffle cream while Paradiso is much lighter and fresher tasting. These two complemented each other so well! I highly recommend this combination. I would 100% come back to try more sandwiches! Don't forget there is a 10% discount for NYU students too!

Yelp
Considered one of the best street food experiences in the world, and considered by Saveur magazine to be the home of the world's best sandwiches, I couldn't wait to try All'Antico Vinaio. I planned my attack to come after 1pm, I figured the lunch crowd would thin out and its just me and the imported Italian meats. The line wasn't too long as I patiently wait for my turn. There is seating inside, there aren't tables but stools and a wall shelf. The vibe from the people behind the counter, everyone seems happy as they make these incredible sandwiches. I'm still trying to gauge these sandwich makers, are they from Italy and now living in New York? Are they seasoned sandwich makers from New York? I don't hear any accents, I'm just going with the flow. One of the sandwich makers comes into the shop carrying at least 15 freshly baked Tuscan schiacciata breads. Looking over the menu, you want to try everything. If you're looking at the prices saying this is crazy expensive, peace out? Man.. You missed out on something magical. It truly is a one of a kind experience. I'm going to buy two sandwiches, I'll bring one home for my family and one to enjoy now. After much deliberation, I'm going to enjoy the La Paradiso inside with an italian soda. My sandwich is simple: Mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio cream and a thick pistachio spread. The word stracciatella is throwing me, is it ice cream on the sandwich?? It is not ice cream but a cheese which takes the fat-rich part of the curd that's leftover from making mozzarella and mixes it with salt and cream. I'm given my sandwich and I grab a stool. I take a bite. O.M.G. There's too many sensory things happening at once. The pistachio crumble mixed with the cheese along with the Mortadella between two pieces of warm schiacciata bread? Really, there are no words. This sandwich was the best thing I ate in 2023. Highly recommended

L B.

Yelp
Can a sandwich change your life? No, don't be stupid. But it can make the time you are eating it better. The warm Schiacciata! I got the Il paradiso. I was going to get it to go, but I couldn't wait. I sat down and took a bite, I think my eyes rolled back in my head. It was that good.
google avatar

Jenny Z.

Yelp
OMG! This sandwich lives up to the hype. La paradiso stood out to me from the start, since I love mortadella, stracciatella, and pistachio... but I also really wanted a hint of truffle in my sandwich. The service was amazing... the staff offered us samples of both the truffle cream and truffle honey on pieces of bread for us to try, and we opted to add a drizzle of truffle honey to our sandwich! The sandwich was packed with mortadella and the pistachio cream and stracciatella offered such a light yet creamy, refreshing flavor to the sandwich. The bread also came out fresh -- crispy focaccia and soft and fluffy on the inside. It was delectable! The mortadella was also so so fresh and flavorful. My ideal sandwich :)
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
The sandwiches are All'Antico Vinaio were so delicious, I literally came back the next day for another fix. This Bleecker St location is a little larger than their 8th Av location, so there's a little more breathing space while waiting in line, as well as a few more seats open for you to sit down and enjoy your food. However, Washington Sq Park is only a few steps away so I would definitely recommend taking your sandwiches over there instead. I ordered the Dante ($17) which contains capocollo, stracchino, truffle cream, and arugula. While I enjoyed the greens and the saltiness of the capacollo, I did think the spicy eggplant spread made a big impression on me and was sad not to taste it. For this reason, I think my favorite so far is the schiacciata di Manolo but I'm planning to try the Favolosa next!
google avatar

Tom F.

Yelp
Had read Yelpers describe excellent sandwiches from here and a few described having to wait on line. Being a native New Yorker who lacks "line patience" & knowing I wouldn't get there till 5pm...I ordered online when I was 40 minutes away on a Manhattan bound A train. I arrived 5 minutes after receiving notice that my sandwich was ready. The shop wasn't too crowded at all, but my bag was ready to go! A smiling fella at the counter looked up & asked me my name & handed my bag to go! Very efficient & the shop's staff were all cheerful and diligently taking & executing orders. I returned home with my "La Paradiso" (Mortadella, Stracciatella, Pistachio Cream, Pistachio) + added prosciutto crudo. I unwrapped an 8"x7" golden crusted focaccia masterpiece. Granted it was $22, but it was my Knick vs Cavs pregame dinner! The combination of flavors with the fat of the mortadella, the creamy stracciatella & the crunch of the pistachios and toasted focaccia was truly satisfying. I could only eat half...but the other half will follow soon enough!!! I felt a dill pickle or, better, pickled pepper would've been a perfect accompaniment...I supplied my own! I highly recommend a visit.

Yelp
Truly one of a kind sandwiches that taste like they're delivered straight from Italy. A few favorites: LA SCHIACCIATA DEL BOSS - a must if you love truffle and prosciutto LA SCHIACCIATA DI MANOLO - the eggplant elevates this sandwich to another level, but note prosciutto cotto is more like ham LA PARADISO - pistachio's another phenomenal flavor addition
google avatar

Kristina M.

Yelp
Best sandwiches EVER! Nothing like them anywhere else. La Paradiso is so yummy! Great service too - staff is very helpful & friendly. I'll be back!
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
This shop is my NYC recommendation for where to eat. Roman shop feel inside with meat sliced in front of you and Schiacciata Tuscan flatbread unbelievably fluffy. The special, La Regina, contained pistachio cream, arugula, prosciutto crudo and was topped with sun dried tomatoes for the best bites I've ever consumed. Tasted EXACTLY like their shop in Rome outside the Pantheon.
google avatar

Deon B.

Yelp
Sandwiches are delicious and are perfect for a warm day. The food always comes out quickly. The sandwiches always taste nice and fresh and always satisfy. The sandwiches aren't the largest, but they are good.

Yelp
My bf had been dying to try these viral Italian sandwiches so we made the trip last Friday and he hasn't stopped talking about them since. We arrived before 5:30pm and comfortably took our seats. We heard 2 other customers say that they stopped by just because they noticed there was no line so I'm guessing this was a good time to go. Between the two of us, we shared La Paradiso ($17) and La Schiacciata del Boss ($20). I definitely preferred the Paradiso (with its mortadella and pistachio cream - yummm) as the Boss tasted a bit dry. But the fresh meats and schiacciata bread totally lived up to the hype. After we devoured all 4 halves, my bf had to order one more sandwich to go, and this time he customized it with mortadella, fresh mozz, arugula, tomatoes and truffle I believe. It tasted amazing even the next day. Prices may seem a bit steep but honestly not crazy for NYC especially for a legendary sandwich shop straight from Florence. It's worth the try. The staff was super friendly and personable, would recommend!
google avatar

david l.

Yelp
Italian sandwiches on in house mad bread. I was lucky to get bread fresh out of the oven. All the sandwiches are fantastic and well worth the money. One is good enough to share unless you're very hungry.
google avatar

Alan S.

Yelp
I will admit that the caprese I had here was probably not the best ever - it was a bit dry and could have used some olive oil I felt. But I still feel compelled to give 5 stars simply for the La Broadway, which I think is one of the most spectacular vegetarian sandwiches in the city. I'll admit my ignorance that I did not realize pistachio was used as a savory ingredient in Italian cooking, similar to how it's used in Turkish cuisine. The pairing of the subtle pistachio cream and soft straciatella with the crispy focaccia was mind-blowing. The arugula added some nice crunch without contributing inordinate volume - although speaking of volume, bear in mind that one sandwich here is certainly enough to feed two.
google avatar

Celes Z.

Yelp
This is a must try Italian sandwich chain store. I first had sandwiches from All'Antico Vinaio when I was on a trip to Italy. I was excited to hear that they opened in New York. This location is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Their sandwiches range between $15 to $20. Each time I come here, it has not been a disappointment. Their sandwiches are big enough to share with another person. My personal favorites are the La Toscana and La Schiacciata del Boss.
google avatar

Jenny L.

Yelp
I am stingy with my 5 star ratings but this place deserves it. There was no wait on a Tuesday morning when they open at 11:30 AM- perfect time for lunch. Half of a sandwich will have you full, finishing all of it would put you into food coma. I did not go wrong order la summer ($20). The focaccia is baked fresh, the mozzarella is so soft and buttery, the prosciutto was perfectly thin and not salty, the tomatoes were fresh, and I can taste the freshness of the basil that was sprinkled in there. All the ingredients are simple but it blended really well together. You can tell the employees enjoy being there, vibing with the music and having a very relaxed atmosphere. I've eaten other $20 Italian sandwiches from the nearby area and feel horrible after eating half of it. It can be too much with all the ingredients. With this place, the simplicity and quality outshines quantity and is definitely worth trying. I highly recommend and will be back for more.
google avatar

Olivia B.

Yelp
Been going thinking that it will be nothing special. My husband told that we will take La Favolosa, because it's number one in a menu. All people in front of me took it too (coincidence maybe).. what we can tell, it was super amazing!! Defending will come back! And I like that this location don't have big line. Everything was very fast.
google avatar

Amanda W.

Yelp
So i did not get to take a pic of my sandwich(i was too shocked at the size and couldnt wait to bite in) but i got the VENICE BEACH w added avocado and added pistachio cream. It was the best combo you dont think it'll work, but it cuts through so nicely. Fresh bread too, jusr came out the oven and when they cut it through it was steaming. The outside was crunchy crispy and the inside was filling and big. Pricy sandwich but i would say worth it if your order is everything u like in a sandwich. Service was super friendly and attentive. No tax.
google avatar

Joan L.

Yelp
The foccacia bread was really good but that's about it... the sandwiches were sadly half filled inside --- where you could hardly taste it... disappointing visit but at least there wasn't any line when we visited... $46 for 3 sammys of mostly bread is overrated
google avatar

Michael J.

Yelp
Hyped up but worth the hype. As a vegetarian, I was mostly on the outside of this meat festival staring in, but the focaccia is as good as it looks, and anything involving their signature pistachio cream is absolutely amazing. The flavors are more subtle and simple than what I was expecting, leading to a meal whose wow factor built over time until the last bite. Come hungry for the huge portions. $20 is a lot for a sandwich and a soda, but you'll leave happy and get to rub elbows with food influencers at this buzzy spot. Pro-tip: arriving before noon on a Saturday helped us avoid a long line.
google avatar

Martina S.

Yelp
Please keep an open mind and do not come here expecting the bodega sandwich you're use to getting as a true New Yawker. Forget the mustard and mayo. Where do I start?! I arrived thinking I would just order one sandwich for my husband and I to share and quickly came to my senses. There was no way we weren't ordering two. La Sullivan- Thin, melt in your mouth slices of imported Prosciutto Toscana, pistachio cream that is light and fluffy and really what dreams are made of, stracciatelia cheese, and pistachio granules all tucked into the most amazing Tuscan schiacciata bread. Ugh that bread (insert heart eyes) We also ordered La Favolosa, which was equally as delicious. The quality of the meat on these sandwiches is just "chefs kiss". Pair that with their otherworldly cream spreads... mama mia. My only con, if you want to call it that, or maybe a positive for some who don't like heat, the "spicy eggplant" had no kick to it whatsoever. I personally like a little heat and was definitely looking for it in La Favolosa. Seating is limited. This place gets busy, but they move quick! I want to kiss the person who thought of bringing All'Antico Vinaio to America!
google avatar

Liz M.

Yelp
Visited this sandwich shop in Rome and was hoping for a similar experience in NY. It wasn't. The sandwiches were overpriced and nowhere near the quality of the Rome shop. A few slices of prosciutto and cheese - that's it. I could have dealt with slightly different but the quality of these sandwiches was drastically different. The service was good but typically NY - give me your order, here's your sandwich, pay, and get out. Not the fun experience and delicious sandwich I was hoping for.

Yelp
Great sandwiches as expected. I've waited years to try this place after seeing this place on a food network somewhere and it lived up to my expectations. My only recommendation would be to maybe order more meat to go on your sandwich but that's about it. Can't wait to try every sandwich they offer. Most of their meats are imported straight from Italy with the exception of about 2. Great drink options. The lines are a little confusing but easy to adjust to. The crowd that day was a bit snobby but that's out of everyone's control and I was there to finally try their infamous sandwiches which truly are a treat and divine. Thank you

Yelp
I'd been curious about this place since it's a legit Italian import, so I was glad to see that they opened a second location in a much less touristy area. We stopped by for lunch on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet but soon started to get busier. Although small, there's a good amount of bar seating all around the store. I had Le Paradiso, which I enjoyed very much - loved the thinly sliced mortadella and the pistachio cream. My partner ordered La Schiacciata Di Manolo, which wasn't as good. The spicy eggplant is actually a spread and the flavors got a little lost with it. However, we both liked the Tuscan schiacciata bread used for the sandwiches. Staff was friendly. Prices might seem a little high for a sandwich, but the portions are actually pretty big. Overall, we had a positive experience and would probably come back to try some of the other flavors.

Yelp
My mom was traveling in Italy and told me she had an amazing sandwich at their original location there. I was reminded they opened an NYC location - so on a Thursday morning, I came in just as they opened. The staff is friendly and swift. I ordered the Paradiso, but I wish I added tomato and arugula to it! The bread is crunchy. The sandwich has a fair amount of oil on it - still good. I'd be interested in trying other sandwiches there!

Yelp
Spot was bumpin' when we pulled up. Quick to order and the staff also offered us fresh focaccia as we were waiting--it was absolutely delicious!! We had the la Schiacciata del boss, pretty good and only wish there were veggies inside! It was prosciutto + pecorino + truffle cream which is a heavenly combination but definitely needed something else to cut the heaviness and flavor. Would opt to try la summer next time :)

Yelp
I'm from NYC, so I've had this spot on my "to try" list ever since they had their first pop-up years ago. I was excited to see this new option on Postmates and finally give it a try! Now that I have, I will say I definitely expected a little more for the hype. I had the Schiacciata del Boss, which has Prosciutto Toscano, Pecorino Toscano cheese, and truffle cream. Pros: soft, chewy bread, great quality meat and cheese, and large portions (definitely enough to split with someone if you're not famished). Cons: a little skimpy on the fillings given the size of the bread, and the sandwich was kind of minimalist. I could definitely see this hitting the spot when you're in the mood for something simple & no frills! I'll be back to try other variations.

Yelp
I've been following their instagram account for a few years because I for some reason searched "mortadella" on there. Anyways, glad I didn't have to go to Italy to try it and it absolutely did not disappoint. I got the Paradiso which has the mortadella, their pistachio creme, and some added pistachio for good measure. It was excellent. Mortadella really has a pretty subtle flavor that can get overpowered pretty easily and the ingredients here don't do that, really letting the sausage sing. Great stuff. Wish they had one in SF.

Yelp
Before going to New York this spot was on my list to go to for a nice sandwich before flying back home. I enjoyed it on the plane when they serve us some refreshments. . The sandwich name I got was called boss something. I loved the truffle spread, along with the thin shaved meat. I added fresh tomatoes, and sundried tomatoes and arugula for the color and veggies. It was good and the bread was a nice touch too. . The price point was about 20 bucks and 2 bucks extra for the toppings. It was good and I would go back for another sandwich to try next time. . I went 10 mins before they open. There was around 4 people ahead of me on a Tuesday morning. After I got my sandwich it got busy, it wasn't like a long line, but it Definitely was busy. Not sure about the weekend crowd. . It's a casual deli shop, where you order and can eat inside along the walls. I took it to go for later on the plane. . Overall if you want a authentic Italian deli sandwich, give this place a try. I really liked it and would go back when I'm in NYC. They even open a LA location like a month or 2 ago which is now April 2023. So look out for other locations. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day!

Yelp
This place has been on my bucket list and I'm glad I finally got to try it! Went on a Saturday evening and though the line wasn't too long, each sandwich did take a bit of time to prepare. We had a large order and waited 25 mins in total from line to exit. There's a small sit down space in the back but it seemed like a mainly to-go establishment. As far as the sandwiches, everything was extremely fresh! The bread came out steaming, and the meat quality was really good!! All the toppings made it good too. The bread wasn't too thick so it had a good ratio of insides to bread. The sandwiches themselves are huge so despite the price tag it's worth trying! Overall recommend!!

Yelp
DELICIOUS SANDWICHES!! These are pricy ($12-20) but they are HUGE and so good. The bread is amazing. I had the toscana, and the combo of the delicious salami with the honey was to die for. The people working seemed fun and friendly and we were in and out quickly.

Yelp
We went there with high expectations having found them thru an article in the NY Times. They were very friendly...have to give them that. We got the LA PARADISO and the THE ODD COUPLE. For both we found the focaccia bread they were served on was not fresh. We also found the spreads were put on so heavy it was hard to appriciate the meats. I've looking forward to trying their food but I'm afraid it's one and done.

Yelp
Let's talk about how absolutely astounded I am by this little sandwich shop. We arrived at 11:15am on a Tuesday to find out that they open at 11:30am. We took a lap around the block and when we returned at 11:30am there was a line out the door! Within minutes, they were taking our order. Fast service!! Their menu is absolutely out of this world. My boyfriend and I ordered the La Summer (prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato, & basil) and split it. The La Summer is $20 (all of the sandwiches are $15+ (most on the higher $ end of that)) and definitely shareable. We were filled with energy after we ate. The sandwich was so fresh. They sliced the prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato, & basil in front of us. The staff was so kind and the ambiance was adorable. I felt like I was transported out of New York. 5/5 (would give more stars if I could)!!

Yelp
I do love the sandwiches here and they're tasty and huge. I have to say they are a tiny bit overpriced and difficult to eat as the focaccia is one huge square and the sandwich is not cut down the middle. Besides that, though, no complaints. Be sure to try a sandwich that has their pistachio cream - it adds a lot to the flavor and I've never had a topping quite like that in my sandwich.
