"San Francisco based sneaker start-up Allbirds recently opened their first NYC concept store in Soho, complete with—wait for it—a human sized hamster wheel to test shoe durability. In honor of the opening, they've designed custom laces inspired by New York City’s subway lines alongside a new, limited-edition, midnight blue colorway. We love the sustainable ethos behind each pair of shoes-they're largely engineered from temperature-regulating, odor-minimizing merino wool that's inspired by co-founder Tim Brown's Kiwi upbringing. (They're also ideal for anyone who doesn't like wearing socks.) Grab a perch at their shoe bar to be fitted if you need extra attention. "

Probably the worst pair of shoes I've ever purchased. I'm a size 8.5 women's, kind of on the narrow side in general. These shoes are so tight and pinch my feet in multiple weird places. There is also very poor traction. I almost slipped in my kitchen which is hardwood flooring and my garage which is concrete. This was in only 5 minutes of wear. I wish I could exchange these for something that might be better or be more comfortable but i was told "no can do". Which is too bad because they are expensive shoes. Do not recommend

Having frequented this establishment on multiple occasions, I must commend the staff for their consistently positive and welcoming demeanor, which significantly enhances the overall shopping experience. 😊👍👏 As a customer with specific requirements regarding footwear design, functionality, practicality, and comfort, I have found their selection of unique and aesthetically pleasing designs to be particularly impressive, leading to the acquisition of two pairs. 👟🤩💯

The entire experience at allbirds is fantastic, but Liz the manager at the NYC store is above and beyond. She has such passion for the brand, such care for the clients and support for her staff. It was a pleasure being in the store with her today and you couldn’t have a better brand ambassador for your brand and company

Allbirds produces one of the most comfortable shoes in the market with sustainable materials. In my opinion, they are suited for casual runners. Performance runners would be better served by other brands such as ASICS. These shoes however are much better for day-to-day walking as they are lighter. We were served very well by all the Allbirds staff in this store. Everyone was very helpful and patient, answering all the questions we had as this was our first time purchasing an Allbirds shoe. I would highly suggest visiting the store if you are uncertain about which shoes would be suitable for you as the staff were very knowledgable and would comment on which shoes suit an individual.

Google
The absolute best everyday shoes. I have the Wool Runner Mizzles and they are waterproof and comfortable to wear and super suitable for walking all over New York. Highly recommend. The in-store experience was also super great!

I have purchased multiple pairs of Allbirds over the years though I will say that some of the new styles seem thoughtless in design and lesser in quality (like every other brand these days). But I will not shop there anymore because my husband just purchased a pair of sneakers that weren't the right color and looked oddly bulky on him. When he selected that he didn't like the color as a reason to return them they flagged him and wouldn't allow the return. READ THIS from their return policy - Allbirds explicitly reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to limit, decline, or reject any sales, returns, and orders for any reason, without being liable for any damages or costs, except for repaying any amount received from the customer in relation to such sale or order.

Yelp
I came to this store b/c Bank of America had a cash back deal. I was on the hunt for supportive and cute not too flashy everyday walking shoes I could wear with anything. I went to this location because it's proximity to a lot of train stations and the location. The staff was very helpful and knew a lot about the sneakers for any type of use in comparison to the Hoka's i'm use to wearing. I settled on a running shoe based on the feel and height. I love that the sneakers are environmentally friendly and can be washed. That's major for me. I came for walking sneakers and came out with running shoes I wore out the door. I brought a half size bigger than I'm use to b/c the store did not have a size 8. It did feel different and there was an adjustment period. Over the last few months i've completed intense HIIT classes (some Tracy Anderson), walked 10-20k steps, and ran in my sneakers. I haven't had any issues. I feel completely supported in my sneakers and that's major. No lower back pain or anything after walking 5 miles most day. I would highly recommend this store and brand. The staff was extremely patient b/c I tried on a few shoes before I decided on one. I will definitely come back for one of the wool sneakers. I also plan on bringing family members here for sneakers. Thanks so much for being kind and helpful! My sneakers have traveled all over NYC.

Yelp
This store is located in Soho. It is quite a small store, but the workers in the store are attentive to their customers. I have been there a few times to check out their new footwear. Their shoes are very comfortable. My friends recommended me a couple of years ago. I have been wearing mine for over 4 years. I recently just ordered two new pairs from their early Black Friday sales. If you ever need comfortable shoes, and water-repellent shoes this is for you.

Yelp
Great shoes and cool location in the Manhattan. The store is a very organic and airy which I suppose echoes the nature of the shoes ... both are extremely inviting and comfortable! Their displays are awesome allowing you to view all their offerings in one place. Seems like that should go without saying but so many stores so often have very little to show relative to their product line.
google avatar

Yelp
After two months of rocking these kicks I will confirm that they are very comfy and light on my feet. I am reluctant to work out in these shoes but I have ran them through the gauntlet of commuting through rain and subtle snow fall. I did not have any grip issues while walking up and down the train stations during the inclement weather of the northeast. They were very warm during them cold winter days as I had them on during the 2018 Thanksgiving/Black Friday holiday when it was 20 degrees. The shoe doesn't absorb as much water compared to the other top marketed shoe conglomerates. The style is a very classic design and I can't wait for the brand to expand so I can have more options. You must try these so you can give your feet a treat every once in a while.

Yelp
Stopped in after their recent IPO on the stock market. Learned a little more about the company and how they produce many of their products from recycled materials. I like that and I know the younger generations give some precedence toward companies that have a socially responsible system. I liked the store because I was greeted, immediately, and was brought up to speed on the stores products quickly. Some of their shoes don't come in half sizes. Most pairs run $98. Checkout process was seamlessly completed. (I really love and appreciate that). You get a free pair of cool and sturdy laces when you leave the store after purchase. Overall, I like it.

Yelp
Great shoes. Loved the free laces. Customer service needs improvement. They forgot to bring me my shoes but once we got this one sales person, he was very attentive. We were told by another sales person that the yellow wasn't available but there it was behind the counter. I got a pair of navy blue wool Allbirds that were no longer on display but our one efficient salesperson found them for me. Try the different shoes -- I found the wool ones fit my feet better than other models. Comfy and washable.

Yelp
I visited the store on a Thursday evening around 6 PM and it was pretty packed inside! There is bench-style seating along the length of the store for you to try on the shoes and there is a large wall of mirrors for you to strut in front of. The store associates were very friendly and did their best to help, despite the mayhem in the store. Definitely shoot questions their way if you're puzzled over fit, especially if you're in between sizes like I am. According to the associates, the wool shoes stretch a bit, but the tree ones don't, so you should size up for the tree line. The shoes themselves are super plush and it's like walking on clouds...firm clouds, but still clouds. The tongue of the shoes are super soft so they don't dig in to the tops of your feet (cough cough, the new Adidas). You can go sockless, which was super attractive to me because I like the sock-less look and I always wear no-show socks with my Keds and Adidas. After a sockless day in my new tree-line Allbirds, neither my feet nor my shoes smell! Allbirds also has a super generous return policy- 30 days to wear it around the city and if you still don't like it, you can return or exchange. They donate the used pair, which I find super cool. Their confidence in their products allows the customers to be confident in their purchase. Plus, the store has a bunch of colorful laces that you can grab to mix and match with your new cloud shoes!

Yelp
Each visit to the Allbirds store has been great! This store is 1 of just 5 in the world, so I really appreciate the rare chance to try on their shoes in-person before I buy. The store has a lot of open space, so I recommend going to a sales associate directly to request your shoe/size--they have always been very helpful and accommodating whether I was picking between 4 different shoes or if the store was crowded. Plus be sure to snag some limited edition / rotating selection shoelaces after buying your new shoes!

Yelp
This place has some very cool sneakers- All natural. At first I thought no way hit when I tried them on they were superb. I walked around the store in the sneakers and will decide if I want them (maybe even today). The employees were very helpful and friendly. A huge plus. Some sneakers have wool in them so if you live in a colder climate these would make more sense. Some are lighter weight and make more sense for warmer climates. I suggest you try them on and see how you like their support and comfort. I don't think you'll be sorry.

Yelp
Cool, hip, essential and casual shoe brand that sells slip-ons and sneakers for both men and women (and additionally for the little ones). After seeing their ads all-over the subway station years back, it was just a few years ago since I've become a fan. And some. The shoes are pretty much minimalist designs with great function without the frou frou. The selection is also straight to the point and sell basically repeating favorite colors. This store is always packed when we pass by Soho. And, yes, tourists galore. No need to panic! Customer service is fast paced and the fellows and ladies there are quick that I spend less than 30 mins shopping, ending up purchasing a new pair of comfortable shoes. Oh yes, read up on their company! If you're in a hurry, just go up to someone. I'm in and out like underwear and never waiting. Get a free pair of round shoe laces too when you purchase a pair. Accepts card, cash, and Applepay. Swipe that card!

Yelp
I came to know about Allbirds through my employer and was drawn to the simple design and color combinations of the shoes. Plus they shoes are supposed to be super comfortable. The store was easy to find and was plenty busy when I dropped in. The shoes on display didn't match what was on their website at the time. I was pleased to see more color options available for purchase. It was a bit hard to get the attention of a salesperson but once I did, she was really helpful! I was trying to decide between the wood and tree runners and she was able to provide me with some information based on what I told her about my shoe wearing habits. I did try on both types and found the tree runners more comfortable, especially as my feet can run hot and swell up after a lot of walking. I was happy for the chance to try these on before purchasing them. The shoes are comfortable but are they the most comfortable shoes ever? No they aren't, for me, but they are pretty comfy, even right out of the box. I wish they were waterproof. Don't forget your free laces!

Yelp
First time I came in I was ignored. Returned a second time as I wanted to try the shoe on for size before considering buying online. The brand and marketing for the shoe would make you think it would be filled with staff who are super friendly and excited about the $95 super comfortably washable shoe that's environmentally friendly. But I found a store where you need to draw attention that you want to try something on or learn more about their product. One guy that did help me disappeared after he brought out my shoes. Then I had to find another person to ring up my purchase. And no one told me about the free laces in the store! At least until I read the yelp reviews after the fact. I love my gray wool runners in Tuke Jo (Natural Black Upper/Cream Sole). They are very comfortable and warm on my feet in the cold temps. I didn't have to break them in which is a plus. They don't have half sizes so they suggest to size up. I am a 7.5 and went up to an 8 in women's. They fit perfectly.

Yelp
I've heard before that Allbirds were fairly comfortable shoes from a lot of friends and I didn't know they had actual stores and were based in San Francisco?? I brought my gf here knowing that once we were in NY we'd "probably" would be doing a lot of walking and her current shoes, I would say weren't the best for that activity. They have a fair amount of selection in terms of type of shoes and about 20-30 seats in sets of 3 to try on shoes. The materials they make the shoes from is very eco friendly striving from sugarcane, tree fibers, as well as wool spun from sheep. Merino wool is a cool concept you'll find in the runners where it provides a nice little water resistant material so your foot doesn't get soaked in puddles (obviously it in a river though) but still keeps your foot insulated. We went on a Friday night and for awhile it was crowded, but it took awhile for an associate to help us and we ended up staying longer than planned. On the bright side you do get to pick a free shoelace once you buy a pair.

Yelp
I was introduced to Allbirds by a friend several years ago. Because I like to see the latest trend, I researched the brand and decided to get my first pair of wool runners. These are the most comfortable walking shoes. If you have a trip coming up that requires walking, these are the only shoes to wear. They are light so packing is a breeze, they are wool which means breathable and washable. What?? Yes!! I wear orthotics which were no problem for these shoes. While it may be tight, they absolutely stretch. The shop is set up simply so that you can see every model on the floor. Once you decide on your size, you walk to the back of the store to pick up the size. The staff is great. Nice and helpful. I just ordered my 5th pair. I would wear these shoes everyday if possible.

Yelp
I bought a pair of their sneakers online. There was no clear disclosure about their poor to zero return policies. I actually didn't know there was a live store in NYC until a friend told me they saw one. In any case I went to return their mediocre sneakers (I usually buy Brooks and Saucony) and nope, only store credit was an option. I looked at their stuff and wound up spending nearly an extra $100 on a different pair of mediocre sneakers. My fault, but I was trying to get something out of buying a bad pair. In any case the two stars are for the employees- they were really sweet. The sneakers/company deserve zero because they obviously are looking for a quick sell and they know their products are garbage. Just look up what happened to their activewear line.

Yelp
12/4/2020 - I bought a pair of the black Allbirds online and was just not loving the way they looked on my feet (I'm going to stick to my teal Allbirds which I love) so I brought them into the store for a refund. The staff is so friendly and accommodating - Madison handled my transaction seamlessly and I was once again in and out of the store in under 10 minutes! If you're in the neighorhood (SOHO) stop into this store. Their sneakers are fabulous, comfortable and don't show normal wear and tear.

Yelp
Just bought my third pair of these shoes today in as many years. Usually I tend to throw out or abandon old shoes once I buy new ones, but all three are still functional and comfortable. I highly recommend trying these shoes out. Separately, every employee I encountered today was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Michael. I came here with my wife and two others - we had the poor dude going down the store stairs like ten times so we could try different styles and colors. He just laughed it off when we apologized. Here's to hoping a manager sees this as our form of thank you, and hoping that the fact that each of us walking out happy with a new pair of shoes is some consolation. Thanks so much Michael!

Yelp
Went all the way downtown to get a pair! I have issues with my feet and I must say, that this is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Great service too!

Kyle T.

Yelp
Sellouts. After 30+ pairs of Allbirds shoes, I would know. I have some of the original shoes that really made me love Allbirds. Fast forward to now, sending back multiple pairs because of terrible construction is ridiculous. Being able to visually see the overlap issues, separation, glue showing, etc. tells the story of how things have changed at Allbirds. I compared a pair of shoes that just delivered to the same pair that I have had for a couple years, and wow, the difference is stark. It's really starting to be obvious to these corporate sellouts that focus on quantity/profits over quality and customer care, providing top-notch products. ESPECIALLY at the prices Allbirds has, which is absolutely ridiculous. I just expected more from a brand that hasn't even cross the threshold yet. And this isn't the way.

Yelp
Amazing shoes and good for the planet. It's exciting to see a social media startup go from a FB ad to a store in soho

Yelp
Allbirds, known as the most comfortable shoes in the world - these shoes saved my life. I know I'm exaggerating but if you were walking on the streets of Manhattan dealing with painful feet, you'd feel the same, too. I have 2 pairs of these lovelies - wool runners and loafers. I got the wool runners online months ago and then neglected to bring them to our trip to NYC because I opted to use my "hardcore" (as my cousin said so) lace-up Nike snow boots in anticipation of the cold weather. Big mistake. I hadn't worn the shoes in a long time and my feet had expanded after 2 pregnancies. And so, I was navigating the urban jungle shod in tight footwear and my toes were begging to be let out. Finally, after a meal in the heart of Chinatown, we trekked 7 minutes to this particular Allbirds location. The store is brightly lit and manned by helpful employees. Even though the ratio of staff to customers on the day of our visit was quite high, I did not feel like I was ignored. The transaction was pretty quick because I knew what I wanted in terms of design and color. The next best thing to Allbirds aside from the true comfort that they offer is that they have a generous return policy. If for some reason, within 30 days, after wearing their shoes here and there and you find your feet are still crying for mercy, you can ship back the items, no questions asked. I love this brand and in the future, would buy Smallbirds for my kiddies.

Yelp
I don't know why this place didn't get more than a 4-star rating. :( First of all, Allbirds shoes are probably one of THE most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! (Which is not really part of the review of the shop, but I thought I'd squeeze that in). This store is one of the few physical Allbirds shops they have, and it was an extremely pleasant visit. My husband had to exchange his newly-bought shoes with a different size because they weren't working well for him. They exchange shoes as long as you have your receipt/confirmation number (if you bought it online), so they were really good about exchanging my husband's shoes immediately on spot. They also have various designs of shoes displayed on the walls on both sides of the walls, and you can ask any of the employees to help you out with finding the right design/shoe size for you. If you have a pair of Allbirds, you can also choose free shoelaces (blue, green, or yellow) that you can take so that you can mix and match them with your shoes.

Yelp
We were eating nearby on our NYC trip and our friend just happened to take us to this Allbirds store! At the time, this was one of the only locations in the US and so we were so excited. He kept telling us about how awesome these shoes were and we had to try them out for ourselves. Service was very friendly and helpful. We were able to choose the style and color we wanted pretty quickly despite the many people in the store shopping. We were also able to choose a shoelace color on top of the one that came with the shoe so that was pretty cool too. All the Allbirds come in a really cool looking box that's very unique. I have been wearing my Allbirds for 2+ years now and they are still really nice - warm and stylish. I would definitely come back to this store if in the area.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday night maybe an hour to closing to try on a pair, because many of my friends have been raving about how comfortable Allbirds are. Loved the set-up of the store, and I especially enjoyed the cute displays that show you what the shoes are made of! When we first came in, a sales associate asked us if we needed help with anything, and at the time we had come in only with the intention of looking around, but we appreciated the gesture. After looking around for maybe 20 minutes, my boyfriend and I decided to each get a pair, because we both appreciated the simplicity of the design and Allbirds' commitment to sustainability. It was a little frustrating having to get the attention of the sales associates, who were standing against the railing of the stairs talking to each other. We both decided on the Wool Runners in Natural Grey. I have a habit of doing figure fours when I sit in chairs, so on the first and second day (today) I can smell a weird chemical odor from the shoe. And sometimes it feels as if my foot is burning/tingling so I'm not sure if it's the material rubbing against my foot or just because the shoes are still new and need some time for the chemical smell to wear off.. will update review if this persists.

Yelp
Best shoes ever, I can't talk enough about this brand! We get in and out of the store in few minutes but always with the best pair of shoes or slip ons, that last so long. I have been using my old ones since three years and still wear them every single day. I love the dashers for running, slip ons for work and they are the most comfortable and durable shoes! Easily by far the best pair of shoes I have had.

Yelp
Walking past Allbirds in Soho, I recognized them from my online shopping ventures, and I decided to go inside and try some on. Inside, it was pretty busy, but we were able to look at the displays located on both sides of the store. They had a variety of colors and styles from running, lounging, and sneakers. Almost immediately after seating down, a sales associate asked if we would like to try some on. She was friendly, sweet, and quick in getting my shoes and offered advice on sizing. There is no half-sizing so be mindful of that when looking to purchase. I found it amazing that despite the business and hustle of Soho, the staff was quick and efficient to tend to their customers and offered advice and guidance when it was needed. Their sneakers were stylish and comfortable, a must buy!! If you walk past the tour, it's definitely worth a pop in a try on.

Yelp
When I first bought them, I was so excited over how comfortable they were that I started recommending them to friends and family. In fact, I was originally recommended them by my sister! They're fairly cute, earth friendly, fairly priced, and extremely comfortable...for a few months. I have worn these shoes off and on for 5 months with socks. I did take them with me on an Europe trip but didn't wear them more than three days on that trip. On a normal week, I wear these shoes anywhere between once a week to three times a week. I frequently purchase expensive shoes so imagine my dismay when these shoes didn't even make the 6 month mark before holes started forming! Allbirds claims you can wear them without socks. I tried it once. It was disgusting and made my feet sweat. Okay, no biggie. I can wear them with socks like I do all my other shoes. Allbirds claim they're washable. They recommend cold water, remove the insoles, place in laundry bag, and air dry. That's pretty easy since I put most of my stuff in laundry bags anyway so done and done! They came out looking absolutely terrible and lost its shape! It looks like I had wore the shoes daily for several years! Sure, they're technically washable but they're disgusting to look at after the first wash so be warned. I see nothing environmentally friendly about having to repurchase a pair of shoes every 4-5 months. I'm so disappointed and should've been more wary since my sister had hers for only 3 months before recommending them to me. There's a reason allbirds does not make it easy to review their shoes on their social media and website. It's because they know their shoes are crap. The real reason other retailers don't make wool shoes is because it simply does not hold up!

Yelp
I've seen ads for Allbirds around Manhattan probably every other day for the last year and was just waiting for a good enough reason to pull the trigger on buying them. After starting a new job that had me on my feet for extended periods of time multiple days in a row, I needed a comfortable shoe that would alleviate the stress I was feeling on my back. I noticed almost everyone at work was wearing Allbirds and, after inquiring about them, they all insisted I get myself a pair. I decided to go to the store instead of ordering them online so that I could try them on and make sure I got the right size (one person told me hers ran big, and then a store clerk told me they run big, so I definitely recommend trying them on if you can make it to the store). My Allbirds store experience was seamless and pleasant. They have a ton of employees waiting to help out, so I can't imaging anyone ever having to wait long to be assisted. I tried a couple of pairs on and checked out in 10 minutes flat. They also have colorful free laces you can take on your way out. I got the wool mizzles and so far I am obsessed! They're great for weight training in the gym, long days on your feet, and walking long distances. They are water resistant and machine washable, which is honestly a dream for a NYC dweller. Shoes are great, the store is great, there's really nothing not to love!

Yelp
Trekked all the way over here only to find out that they are temp closed. No advanced notice on website or adjustment of hours on google or Yelp?? How is that acceptable

Yelp
I bought a pair for my mom and I for a trip. I wore it the entire trip and we walked alot. I think I walked min 5 miles daily for a week. My feet didn't hurt at all, no blisters and didn't smell at all without socks. It made my trip very pleasant because my feet were happy.

Yelp
5 stars for the shoes. NEGATIVE 5 stars for the store. Horrendous shopping experience. If you look at my other reviews, you'll notice I'm typically not a point out the negatives type of reviewer. I like to call attention to great service, products, and a job well done. I was really excited to visit the store. As soon as you walked in it was pure chaos! No order and mediocre service. The employees are overwhelmed. Maybe if you go on an off time during the week it's better but we made the mistake of going on a Saturday. Regardless they need a better system or need to queue people outside like other stores and only allow a certain number in at one time. This would solve the overwhelmed employees and lackluster service. I have a pair of woolrunners and LOVE them. Wanted to pop in to purchase a pair for my husband and daughter. I also wanted to check out the new models and get a second pair for summer. We were so turned off by the experience we couldn't wait to get out of there! They tried on a pair to check the size and we hustled out of there as fast as we could. If you know your size, do yourself a favor and order online. Great product and you'll save yourself from a not so great experience.

Yelp
Horrible Service and poorly designed concept with the Genius Bar model. When the store is crowded, they are understaffed and it's hard to understand where to go for help with boxes strewed everywhere. The employee today was overwhelmed trying to sort the inventory first and help customers. I asked for a size 6, 5 minutes later she handed me a size 8. Then I corrected her and she took another 5 minutes to check and finally told me they were out of stock. I asked for a size 5 and she said she'd get them. She then proceeded to help 4 other customers, gave them their requests and completely ignored or forgot mine while I waited for another 5 minutes standing right in front of her. I ended up leaving without trying them on as she moved on to helping the rest of the crowd. The product however is great and having a brick and mortar presence definitely helps. They should think about the service design and wayfinding of the store so people know where to go if the staff are helping other customers at the moment.

Yelp
I'd been thinking about purchasing a pair of lace-up Allbirds for months, but I kept pushing it off because I wanted to try them on first. Due to some recent swelling and pain in my ankles and feet, the majority of the shoes that I own don't fit well anymore. I dread wearing them because I know to expect aches a couple hours into each day. To my delight, Allbirds opened their first NYC pop-up store last week, and now I'm the proud owner of my very own pair. I bought the NYC exclusive "starry night" (navy) color with the white bottoms, and so far, I'm loving my new shoes! Not only are they stylish, but they make me feel like I'm walking on clouds. Since Allbirds don't make half sizes, I opted for a size 9 because I typically wear shoes in size 8.5. They fit nicely without socks, but there's still enough room for me to slip into some socks if I feel like it. The store layout looks well-designed and inviting, and the employees are quick to grab the size and color you want to try. The employee that helped me didn't remember to remind me about the free NYC subway-inspired shoelaces available with purchase, but I made sure to grab some on my way out. I chose yellow and purple to rep the N and 7 trains, the two subway lines that take me home to Queens.

Yelp
Love this store and love my Allbirds!!! A few of my friends raved about their Allbirds so I wanted to stop by and see the shoes in person. They are truly SO comfortable and I was hooked as soon as I tried them on. They currently have two styles (lace-ups and slip-ons) in a variety of colors (their regular few colors as well as some limited edition colors). They also have "Smallbirds" for kids. They're direct-to-consumer but have this store in Soho -- originally marketed as a pop-up but it's been there for months now, so I hope it's permanent! As for the store itself -- it's on the smaller side, but all their styles are clearly displayed and there is plenty of room to try on shoes. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly with questions about how the shoes fit, how to care for them, etc. They have a big display of different colored shoelaces by the door, and you can take as many as you'd like to mix and match with your Allbirds. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back!

Yelp
Would give this store zero stars. No one even made an attempt to help me with trying on a pair of shoes. All of the sales reps were just standing around and ignoring me. Very rude and would not even buy these shoes online after this experience. Waste of my time!

Yelp
Super crowded location. How do you even get around to try anything on? Getting some service was practically unheard of. For that very reason, we walked out because we didn't manage to get any attention or help. On the flip side, still are interested in grabbing a pair of Allbirds because I hear it is super comfortable. The price tag on these shoes are so affordable, you really can't beat it.

Yelp
Allbirds, I love you! I would highly suggest not going around the middle of the day on the weekend because the store is absolutely bananas and you may be waiting for a while for staff to help you. The space is small but the staff was fortunately very tentative even though each of them were helping handfuls of people at once. (Seems as though there should be someone on the sales floor cleaning up and gathering all of the shoes that the customers do not want as it was getting a bit overwhelming with unwanted shoes in there). Let's move onto the shoes- I picked the lace ups in the sand color and I'm absolutely obsessed. So comfortable and very lightweight. Just an overall great everyday shoe. I took them back home to Los Angeles with me- please open a store here!

Yelp
LOVE these wool shoes; who would have thought? They are so comfortable and snuggly that I don't want to take them off even at home. The staff at this location was very helpful and friendly as well although we happened to go there on a BUSY Saturday. I can't wait until they release more colors. Tip: Don't forget to grab your free pair of laces on the way out...

Yelp
Very cute pop-up store in NYC. Shoes are light and definitely have that walking on clouds feel. One downside is their cute animal cushions aren't for sales.

Yelp
I've had great service both times I was here- quick, easy, and painless. The first time I bought a pair of the Tree Breezers 1/2 size more than more normal shoe size. It turned out to be too small as it pinched and really blistered up the back of my feet. I had already used them outdoors but under their exchange policy I exchanged it for a full size up and they fit much better. Staff is friendly as well.

Yelp
I had a pair of wool runners. When tree skippers came out, I jumped at the chance for a cooler pair for summer. tried so hard to love these shoes, but the construction was terrible. One would always feel like it was about to fall off and rubbed the skin of my foot until I needed bandaids. I took these back to the store, as this is obviously a defect, waited about an hour in the madness and was told by a manager to email customer service. When I emailed, they were no help as 30 days had passed. I threw them out. It's a cool concept, but the store is a disaster and the product is cheaply made.

Yelp
Love this store. Bought my Allbirds here back in March/April of this year. My mom and brother bought another pair because they're THAT comfortable. They allow you to look at the different styles and try them on! Going to go back to get a different style!

Yelp
THANK YOU FOR THESE SHOES! I had to walk an epic trade show across a whole city, easily 50 miles over two weeks, and my feet were so comfortable and cosy the entire time. And I didn't wear socks and they are as fresh as new. I would LOVE to see additions to the collection in leather with more fashion/street boot styles as the sneaker look can only go so far style wise, and the idea of wool and breathability with natural materials can go further in that fashion context. I've been slowly changing my wardrobe over from plastics (polyester etc) to all natural - wool, silk, leather etc - materials in harmony with nature and our human history on and within the ecosystems of this planet. I'm done with petrochemical textiles, they're more harmful (and uncomfortable!) than people realize.

Yelp
May be the worst shopping experience I've ever experienced. 6 people working and no one asking customers if they needed help. I went up to an employee who was annoyed I asked any questions because "she had boxes to unload". I couldn't try on one pair of shoes even to order online because they didn't have any. (She was unloading a new order). I asked another girl if there was ANYTHING I could try just to check for size and she told me every shoe was different. We walked out. Honestly, you couldn't pay ME to buy a pair of Allbirds and advertise this establishment.

Yelp
NOT the most comfortable shoe. I just purchased a pair of wool runners and was super excited when they arrived in the mail yesterday. Walking only 5 steps in them today I could feel the back grating into my heel and knee I was probably in trouble. By the end of the day I had 2 painful blisters on each of my heels. Additionally I had sore toes and the tops of my feet (tarsal-metatarsal joints) were sore. My feet were hot all day (it wasn't even 80 degrees outside). I don't know if my feet would tolerate another day or 2 to break them in. The past 2 pair of shoes I bought were Danskos and Sauconys ... those are comfortable shoes. 12 hrs in them on day one and there were no blisters and no sore or aching feet. I am not impressed at the moment.

Yelp
My girlfriend has been obsessed with Allbirds for quite a while but I am not big on wearing sneakers so didn't think they were for me. She convinced me to go to the store and I tried a pair on... They really do live up to all the hype. The shoes are so comfortable and I Love the environmentally conscious corporate model. I got a pair of the slip bonds which are perfect for bumming around your house or doing errands and then the sneakers which are great for commuting or touring the city. I highly recommend checking them out! Most of their business is online but I really like being able to try on a shoe so it's great that they have the show room in the city.

Yelp
This place was absolutely amazing. Ashley was really helpful and so personable! I was a little intimidated by the price at first but as soon as I put the first pair of shoes on, I understood why! (Also, it is amazing that you can wash them!) My husband and I both walked out the store in the shoes we bought. Unbelievably comfortable!

Yelp
Absolutely terrible service for an alright product. Was gifted a pair of shoes that were the wrong size, and the store refused to exchange them because the original buyer paid cash and they couldn't locate the transaction. Hyped up brand that doesn't deliver on the one thing small brands should be best at, experience.
