London’s New Restaurant Openings

"Like our commitment to face-framing layers, All’Onda has found something they like, and the restaurant is sticking to it. In this case, risotto. There’ll be at least five risotti on the menu at this Fitzrovia spot—including an artichoke and sweetbread variation, lobster bisque, and a Milanese. But those with an aversion to grains will still have options. There are also Italian plates like roasted pigeon and glazed aubergines. " - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Top notch food. Tables nicely spaced apart so it doesn't feel crowded. Great service with good drinks recommendations. The bread starter with the two types of butter really sets the stage - and the bread is warm too, almost freshly baked. This itself sets this place apart. The risotto is incredible. The lobster one is what I recommend.

I adore Risotto, had heard about All'onda through friends, and so was excited to get a table just after opening. The restaurant is beautiful and has been thoughtfully decorated, it seems every detail from the art to the tables to the lighting has been considered. The result is really lovely and relaxing atmosphere. The head chef I believe has come from the 3 Michelin starred Connaught, and his genius with food is clear to see - all we ate was completely delicious, absolutely perfect in every mouthful! It was also very beautiful to look at, and the portions were well sized. We aren't big drinkers but there seemed to be a very wide selection. The service was impeccable and attentive. All in all we had a really enjoyable and somewhat long and happy lunch, so try and get a table while you can!

We came here for dinner during their soft launch and between the two of us, we shared the white asparagus (really nice and beautifully presented), the lobster risotto (delicious with large chunks of lobster), Milanese risotto (I found the flavour too strong with the lemon overpowering the dish, so I didn't really rate it) and the chicken (small portion but enjoyed the flavour). The waiter suggested two risottos between two alongside the starter and main but I think one is enough if you also get a main. The menu is small and simple, but it works as most of the dishes were executed well. The service was welcoming, helpful and friendly.

the place is very nice, the atmosphere is fantastic. the food is delicious, especially the lobster risotto. I highly recommend it for people who want to eat good Italian cuisine and spend some quiet time! the waiter Valery was fantastic. We were approached by Manager Marco, it was incredible! great eye for detail and an immense knowledge of the wines as well as the description of the dishes!!! I highly recommend this place!!

Everything was perfect! Food is fantastic and great service. The best lobster risotto and the apple pie is a work of art! I want to come back soon!

Andrea Granzarolo the previous senior sous chef at Helene Darroze at the Connaught has taken his skills over to this exquisite new Italian restaurant in the heart of Fitzrovia. My new favourite place to dine in London. 1. Beef Tartaccio topped with pickled onions, an anchovie sauce and Parmesan snow - this is a remarkable take on the classic beef tartare and is wonderfully executed 2. Milanese Risotti cooked with saffron and bone marrow and dressed with veal - an extremely delicate and flavourful dish. Probably the best Risotto I have tasted 3. Tarte tatin (not pictured unfortunately) laces of apples beautifully caramelised and then placed in a remarkable pastry base. The light acidity from the cremefraiche balances this dish out perfectly Had the lunch with a couple cocktails including the Bees Knees which was equally as good as the food This place is absolutely unmissable and raises the bar of the other restaurants located on Charlotte Street
