I had such a lovely dining experience at Allora. The ambiance is elegant, the service is thoughtful, and every dish was beautifully prepared. The off-menu pasta special was incredible, and the dessert — especially the crème brûlée — was the perfect finish. The team made the evening feel calm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be returning!

Google
Elegant spot for a date night, family/friend gathering, or even a business dinner. The food was delicious and the service was genuinely friendly. I also loved the light background music — just the right volume for conversations without feeling noisy or too quiet. Overall, a really lovely dining experience!

Google
While staying at LeMeriden we enjoyed breakfast each day! The manager and all staff provided exceptional service and hospitality! Breakfast was well cooked, tasty and served quickly. The experience was great! The bartender made a great martini and remembered our previous order. Great experience added to a great stay at the hotel.

Google
One of the best in service and the food was delicious. We ordered the Ceasar salad and did not expect the dressing for the salad to be made table side. AMAZING! The ambiance was low-key casual but definitely a date night spot. We will be returning when in NYC.

Google
Visited here on a Saturday night and the place was almost empty while we had dinner around 8. Service was good, got the rigatoni bolognese and pollo mt etna, tiramisu for dessert. Bolognese and Tiramisu were not personal favorites.

Kermit Z.

Google
The wife and I had dinner here last night, and it was a treat! If I could give six stars for each category, I would. The service was impeccable. The waiter and his assistant were professional and very attentive. The food was exceptional. My pasta course of Rigatoni in a meat sauce was perfectly prepared. My steak was cooked exactly as I requested. The chef sent out a couple of small plate complementary appetizers. What appeared to be the owner and his wife each visited our table to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. I love coming to NYC to dine because they really know how to do it. I long for service and food quality like this back home. We will definitely be back when we come to the city again! I highly recommend Allora to everyone!

We were staying at the Le Méridien and since the restaurant is inside the hotel, they offered breakfast to guests so we decided to check it out. Overall food was decent but the service was excellent, especially from the male server from Albania We ordered the omelet which came with a variety of veggies and cheese included, and on the side came with potatoes and bread. We also got a side of fruit and potatoes. The side dishes were a bit expensive given the quantity but the taste was decent. The omelet was cooked well. We also got tea which was also good Overall a good breakfast with decent flavor and excellent service; a bit overpriced though

Google
Fantastic food, amazing wine, service by Maria. Highly recommend it, pasta vongole, the dessert everything from start to end.

Yelp
PERFECT dining option for solo, a big party or even a date night. I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner and I enjoyed it all. Breakfast was hands down delicious- I had almost everything on the menu so you're set. On the lunch/dinner menu- I HIGHLY recommend the bolognaise (the sauce was outstanding) and the clam pasta. However, I do not recommend the lemon chicken as I thought it was too dry. The portions are great.

Yelp
What I can say is that the pricing of dishes are fair, service meets expectations for a fine dining restaurant & the ambiance is quite nice. However, this was probably the most bland meal I've ever had. It's a shame because everything was cooked to perfection, smelled promising & as you can see looks so good on video. It just didn't taste like anything.

Yelp
I stayed at the hotel and had breakfast here. The menu is very limited for breakfast, just 5/6 items. The omelette was tiny and overcooked. My daughter had the continental breakfast and the croissant that came with it was horrible. Dry/not buttery or flaky. The service wasn't very attentive or polite and I realized why once the check arrived. They automatically add 20% gratuity on the check so no need to make an effort.

Yelp
Came here for a late dinner and it was absolutely incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and our server was patient and super helpful! The vibes were upscale, dim lighting, relatively quiet atmosphere. I had the Salmon Alla Griglia ordered to the chef's recommended temperature. It was absolutely amazing. I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes, one order was a good amount for 2 people to share, and paired perfectly with the salmon. The salmon also came with a lovely sauce on the side, I'm not sure what it was called but it was delicious. For dessert, we shared the Crème Brûlée and it did not disappoint. Wonderful topping and not overly sweet. Overall, 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Yelp
Tens, tens, tens across the board! Well, since this is Yelp and five stars is the highest rating, change that to fives across the board. I had actually wanted to go to another Italian place nearby and couldn't get a reservation and with a 4.4 rating on Yelp, this looked like a good substitute. I'm happy to say I'm glad I didn't go to the other place because Allora is outstanding. From the second we walked in (to the hotel lobby because we didn't see the outside door to the restaurant) the service was exceptional. We were made to feel so welcome and we were treated like valued guests by everyone. The pace of the service was great and allowed us time to chat and catch up as I was having dinner with cousins from Pittsburgh and we hadn't seen each other in a year. The guy who led the service team for our table went over all the wonderful sounding specials and then took our drink orders. My barrel aged old fashioned was so good I had two! My husband and I started with a Caesar salad- with anchovies- that was prepared tableside and it was absolute bliss. He had the branzino for his main course, which was also prepared tableside. He said it was outstanding. I had something called dentice Mediterranean. According to the menu it's a filet of red snapper with shrimp, scallions, parsley, cherry tomatoes and white wine lemon sauce. All I know is that it was absolutely terrific and I would order it again in a heartbeat. My cousins had pastas which they both adored. For dessert, three of us had the amazing chocolate mousse and one of us had the creme brulee. Suffice it to say, there wasn't a scrap of anything left. I honestly can't recall the last time I had such an exceptional dining experience. The team working there is perfection. I can't say enough good things about Allora. Food, service, atmosphere....it has it all. 100% recommend.

Yelp
We had a private section just for our group, with four servers just buzzing around us. They were insanely attentive. The moment we put down our forks, they were there with new plates and cutlery - it felt like VIP treatment! The food was next level. We had the filet mignon that was so tender, lamb chops and the the branzino. Not only did everything taste amazing, but it all looked so good too. They really know how to present a dish. They suggested some wine pairings, and each one was spot-on, making the meal even more enjoyable.Honestly, it was an amazing night. Everything from the ambiance, the service, to the food was just spot on. Highly recommend! Ps. Their lamb chops were prepared table-side which was awesome.

Yelp
Dined here for lunch and was immediately blown away by the beauty of this restaurant upon arrival. It's really a gorgeous upscale venue. Food and service were both amazing. Didn't get to try any cocktails since I had to return to work but I will make it a point to return for dinner so that I can get the full experience.

Yelp
Service was fantastic !! The bartender suggested a wonderful pino I would have loved to get the borello montepulceano but at 35 dollars well I'll take the pino lol nyc Italian wine prices are a bit CRAZY . k so now meal bread service is insane the multi raspberry bread was so delicious I hope they have it for breakfast sourdough was fresh !! So this is a 5 diamond experience they came outta with hot plates for our steak well have not experienced this even in a Michelin star restaurant and I've been to MANY. Yelp
Don't recommend this place. Came here with a group of friends a couple weeks ago. Place was filled like 30% on a Saturday night. Definitely aimed at business lunches or taking in weekend lunches. Subpar for NY Staff wasn't very friendly and kept trying to push extra items on us. They also twice came to the table to clear alcoholic drinks that were NOT empty. For like a $20 martini, I'm going to take every last sip. We corrected the waiter the first time and he did it a second. Definitely trying to make up for the fact that the place was vacant. They provided long hots, prosciutto, and cheese for the table without asking. That ended up on the bill. I will say they tasted good though. Our table ordered the following: 2x tableside Caesar: nice prep, but wasn't very tasty Mashed potatoes: very rich and creamy. Great Rigatoni bolognese: don't recommend. It was OK at best, but there are 1000 other restaurants in the city with better versions Risotto with mushrooms: pretty good Chicken scarpiello - OK Pappardelle fra diavolo - OK Find a different place in Manhattan. Many better spots for less money

Yelp
Fun experience and engaging staff but a little disappointing. I want to start by saying that the staff was super flexible and was able to accommodate our group of 12 when we realized we made a reservation at the wrong Allora. They were also great with considering allergies and dietary restrictions for our group. The staff was also very interactive and making jokes with our table. However, some may find this fun, but I felt it was making me a little uncomfortable especially since this was a work dinner and they were making a lot of awkward jokes which I didn't love. The food was not terrible but not out of this world considering the price point. We started with appetizers which came on personalized plates. The appetizers were not very shellfish allergy friendly so warning there (I only was able to enjoy the burrata and tomato). The pesto gnocchi pasta was great but didn't feel like the flavors were phenomenal (the roasted pine nuts were a great touch though). The chocolate soufflé was delicious and they even had gluten free options.

Yelp
I sat at the bar for the dinner, and the bartender is fantastic. I had the pasta special, which was also excellent. The owner is very affable, friendly and had many Restaurant experiences in common with me. Will definitely stay at the hotel where it's located and have dinner there again.

Yelp
Overall, a good experience, not too crowded on a Wednesday night. Good but not exceptional food. Great service. Kind of dated interior within what I think is also kind of a dated hotel (the Meridien). Clams were good, burrata was good, proscuitto with melon featured a pretty tired melon, probably way past season. The veal parm was good but not great, served not quite hot enough, the paparadelle was good and the tableside cooked rack of lamb was quite a spectacle and very good as well. Overall, it was fine, just nothing special, I might give 3.5 stars if I could but I'll round up for the service.
google avatar

Jill R.

Yelp
We decided to try this place again since it was convenient for us- and last time we did not enjoy it too much. This time, the wait staff was fine- the food ok, the cappuccino was delicious, and I'm assuming what appeared to the manager (he was in a suit) who attempted to be helpful lacked basic manners and etiquette. As I was eating, I was dumbfounded why he would reach over me later on (after giving me the wrong toast) across the table and touch my whole plate while I was eating the rest of my food and take back my toast with his bare hands ( it came out incorrectly and my food was on one plate with the eggs etc.) without any warning. I was utterly horrified and speechless at his behavior. We left frustrated and dissatisfied. I/ we will not be coming back after two different attempts and being treated poorly, plus having this man grab food off my plate without any warning and reach into my plate to take the toast back. I was utterly grossed out and confused by how he even could work around food.

Yelp
Came here for a large party of 20+ people. It felt like it was a private party because it was empty on a Saturday afternoon. The service was not as good as I thought it would be being that there were multiple servers and were practically the only ones there. I arrived at 12:45pm for the 1pm reservation and all but 2 of the other guests were already there. The waiters were waiting until the 2 other guests came to do anything. I asked to start us off with water and bread for the table. Everyone was pretty hungry but they went around and gave one piece of bread to each person. After everyone asking for more bread they finally agreed to putting plates of bread along the table. I'm not sure if the waiters were new or spoke English. I picked up the pitcher of water myself to refill our glasses. There were 5 kids and the 3 year old got his meal last. I enjoyed my salmon but my tricolore as well as everyone else's did not have walnuts despite the menu saying it came with walnuts. The people who ordered the chicken Marsala were very upset on how overcooked it was. It was very tough for them to cut it. My mom asked if it came with steamed vegetables and the waiter said no. I pointed out that the menu stated it would be accompanied with steamed vegetables in which the waiter responded he'd check then came out with broccoli that was partly cooked. Overall it seemed very disorganized. We ordered from the prefixe menu which we had the option to pick an appetizer, entree and dessert. But for dessert everyone received a piece of cheesecake. We were really confused when the cheesecake came out and when we asked about the other dessert one of the waiters said we were wrong and everyone gets cheesecake. When speaking to another employee he asked which dessert I wanted then he brought out the chocolate cake I asked for and tiramisu someone else ordered in the beginning when they took orders. My cousin, who organized it said there were children and wanted a kids menu for them and that was agreed upon however when she received the bill the children were charged for full adult meals (they ordered butter pasta, spaghetti and meatballs, etc). I know that having large parties can be difficult but the restaurant really struggled with our group. We thought it was going to go smoother being that they have prefixe menus and assumed they were used to having large parties but that was not the case for us.

Yelp
Needed a great option before a show at MSG. This place was such a class act. The food was great. The ambiance was lovely. The service was exceptional. I wrote a note indicating some special needs required (one guest with hearing problems, another with vision problems) and they did every single thing possible to accommodate us in a less noisy and well lit area. We were lucky that they weren't super crowded yet (5:30 reservation) and so they were able to give us attention and made the night most pleasant and comfortable, it was really special. We ate and loved the Caesar salad, special salad with burrata and avocado and pistachio dust, veal parm, chicken scarpariello, and pesto gnocchi. All delish, and ranked in that order, favorite first. The espresso martini was to die for. Yum. Thanks to Dmitri and to the lovely hostess who made the night so perfect. Can't wait to return and highly recommend! Cheers!

Nancie G.

Yelp
Allora is amazing, service was outstanding! We ordered Chicken dishes, mashed potatoes, and asparagus, all was outstanding. Finished off dinner with ricotta cheesecake which was so delicious! Definitely will visit this restaurant again. The ambiance was so relaxing, they play Italian music. Waiters were attentive to our needs, very friendly.

Cassandra D.

Yelp
Just what we needed after a day of excitement in the big We shared a salad and pizza. The crust was

Carla J.

Yelp
Take Out Order Vegan Options Good Portions Good Flavors Nice Staff A little bit pricey for a take out, I think it will be a better experience to eat at the restaurant.

Krisztian M.

Yelp
Great food, amazing service, lovely ambiance! Will be definitely sending our friends here when they're in town.
google avatar

Tina R.

Yelp
We had to find a place last minute. The restaurant is lovely BUT, we asked for Caesar salad just for 2 they made it for the table. The person I was with ordered the meatballs with pasta, it was family style enough for the table we should have been warned. Waste of food! Think these things should be shared at time of ordering.
google avatar

Silvio D.

Yelp
Went here before a show at MSG and had a wonderful dinner. The service was friendly and the food was good. The linguine and vongole were nicely done with fresh clams. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Malique A.

Yelp
The food and service is second to none. Anytime I am in New York this is a mandatory requirement for treating myself! The Branzino and Broccoli along with house made Chips are super delicious. Amazing service from the moment I arrived to the time of my departure.

Maureen O.

Yelp
It was wonderful. The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is classic Italian and very clean and comfortable. The food was very good, way better than expected in a small local restaurant. Some items they actually prepare at your table. We loved it and will go back often.
google avatar

Melanie W.

Yelp
This is a restaurant within a hotel. It serves authentic and delicious Italian food. The bar is tiny and packed usually but they will serve dinner. The bartender is great, makes great drinks and is a good conversationalist. When I stay near here, I will always stop in for a drink or a meal.

Evan H.

Yelp
If you're a fan of classic New York Italian, over the top romantic ambiance, this is your place. The food is quite excellent and the prices are fair.
google avatar

Kate C.

Yelp
Excellent service. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I had a delicious mushroom risotto, and my daughter had the gnocchi pesto, which we thought was a bit basil-heavy, but otherwise good. Excellent desserts. The red velvet cake was amazing.
google avatar

Assal U.

Yelp
Omg this restaurant is amazing!!!!!! We went here for a dinner party of 8 and I cannot believe the energy the food, the atmosphere, the service everything is top tier. We had so much fun! It's definitely an instagrammable place with lots of photo opportunities! The service is fast and precise, the staff is very polite and welcoming, the branzino, the ravioli and porterhouse steak were phenomenal. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Had a delightful dining experience at Allora with colleagues from work. The menu boasts a tempting selection of traditional and contemporary Italian dishes, crafted with fresh ingredients and executed with culinary expertise. The wine menu is somewhat limited compared to other Italian restaurants. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. They prepare a number of dishes (like the caesar salad) on side tables which adds a fun factor. In general the atmosphere is elegant and approachable - I will be coming back for sure.

Aileen B.

Yelp
Very classy, modern aesthetics. Great service. Both friendly and so efficient. Food was fantastic! We will be back.

Ellen S.

Yelp
Delicious food, great service and quiet (enough) for good conversation. We look forward to coming back.

Peggy L.

Yelp
真的很喜欢这家餐厅,环境服务都很好,菜单上没有的Carpaccio 和Affogato 都可以满足跟我在米兰吃的一样非常正宗,在纽约体验到本土意大利的质感 I really like this restaurant. The environment and service iavery good. Carpaccio and Affogato, which are not on the menu, can be satisfied. It's as authentic as what I ate in Milan. You can experience the texture of local Italian restaurant in New York.

Angelica L.

Yelp
The food was amazing and very nice ambience. The lamb chops were cooked very well and tender along with their various sides. Their service is very elegant.

Thomas D.

Yelp
First of all I ordered the cacao de Pepe and my first order came out cold with noodles slightly over cooked. I asked to get my plate warmed and they returned with a new plate that was warm however the noodles were very tough and even worse than the first order. Would highly recommend going somewhere else. Not worth the money

Jeremy J.

Yelp
This place is truly awful. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. The guy who manages the restaurant is awful (the guy who wears the untucked shirt and the jacket). He is very rude to his employees - scolding the bus boys. They try to upsell and manipulate you to get the highest price meal. Even better, the atmosphere is awful. This is my first Yelp review for a reason.
google avatar

Sydney R.

Yelp
This is the most friendly staff in New York City. I came in the city and the first day I arrived in this city and we ate at this restaurant. They treated me and my finance's to the best lunch ever. The drinks and food was more then I could ever expect. We was in the city for my birthday and for a little business and they made our experience the best ever. Thanks to Ben and his father for owning one of the best restaurants in New York City. Thanks Allora can't wait to return to the city so we can enjoy your restaurant once again.

Ling K.

Yelp
Food is great! Nice environment! Fully recommend! Will introduce to all my friends! And will go there this Wednesday too. Love it.
google avatar

Bekah B.

Yelp
This was a highlight of our mother/daughter weekend trip. The food was absolutely delicious, and the best part of this place is the people. Fadil Morina and Noli Ahmetaj treated us like family.
google avatar

Nancy S.

Yelp
Great food- and the service was fantastic. We had the salmon, gnocchi and the sea bass special all were delicious. The servers were attentive but not over-bearing. The whole dinner took about 1 1/2 hours and we had 3 courses. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Sam W.

Yelp
We had breakfast here on two occasions. Though the food was decent, the service here was inconsistent and the wait staff did not seem experienced.
google avatar

Romel R.

Yelp
Such a wonderful experience. I took my fiance there after visiting the Empire State Building. She enjoyed the food so much, we took an order of their CARPACCIO DI MANZO home with us. Service was also excellent and welcoming. Definitely coming back when I'm in the city
google avatar

Alex A.

Yelp
I decided to have dinner at Allora as I was having a business meeting at the Le Meridien Hotel Fifth Avenue and I was leaving the owner Elio asked me to come in for a drink and dinner. I said yes and called a friend to join me and when she arrived we were seated by the host. We had the special seafood combo, gnocchi with pesto sauce, the lamb chops; the food was amazing! Also, the lamb chops were grilled and served table side! Classic old school hospitality and service and we felt like we were family by the end of the evening as Elio closed our dinner out with shots of limoncello on the house. Definitely a must try and will be sure to come back!
google avatar

Martine S.

Yelp
Loved the experience. Great food and service. I had the sea bass and it may have been the best I've had. Ambience set with great decor, lighting and good drinks. Highly recommended

Frank M.

Yelp
Great Food! I ate there 3 nights in a row while in NYC for work. Salmon - Sea Bass - Veal parmigiana - all delicious. Big hearty portions and delicious! Broccoli Al dente good! Spinach - perfect - good use of shaved garlic - but toasted and not overpowering. Salad good - ( but could use a chopped Italian salad too) ... desserts great, NY Cheesecake and chocolate pie - both great. I was about to give a bad review as the order taker refused - yes refused to serve me "ice water", would only "sell" me a bottle - I told Elio the manager and I thing addressed this with his server. I forgive that because "one bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch" / and Elio was fun! Really delicious traditional Italian!

Smita P.

Yelp
Just dined at Allora fifth ave.. from start to finish amazing!! Must try Branzino on the menu ..Also had beet, avocado. And buttata cheese salad!! With house red wine. Dessert cheese cake and triamusa . Great service top notch!! Ambiance was quite bring Sunday night but glad we gave it a try.

Johnson Y.

Yelp
Elio the manager is great, very welcoming and generous. Try the risotto and chicken dishes for sure. This place has great service, it is a gem, go before it gets too busy!
google avatar

Keyiana R.

Yelp
Came for Lunch and I think $50 for three courses is really good. I had the Caprese, the Chicken with Wine and mushrooms and the chocolate cake. The portions are perfect and the food is very good. Service was even better. They're very personable and try to make sure you're comfortable and well taken care of. Would come back again.

Yelp
For my friends and I, Allora has always been a favorite destination. So when we heard about the new location, we were eager to visit. It certainly lived up to our expectations! The staff were not only friendly and kind, but also added a fun vibe to our dining experience at Allora. The food was simply outstanding. The wine list and cocktail menu was impressive, but if you have a specific drink in mind, the bartender will make it for you. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
